CHAPTER ELEVEN
When school goes hardcore
Sarah and Tails sat on their couch, holding hands and staring at their front door.
A part of him didn't want to except it. But at the same time he knew it was going to be over.
His heart was racing at one hundred miles per hour.
It was true fear.
Sarah tightened her grip on his hand.
Why was that the day for a road trip?
Why did they have to sit in those seats.
Those seats?
Tails let go of Sarah's hand and stood up.
"What's wrong?"
"Were we behind the car during the pile up?"
"Uh... yeah I think so."
"If we were behind the car during the crash that would be the same as us being behind the kids in the car."
"What's your point?"
"We died when a truck hit the car. While WE were in front."
Sarah stood up too.
"Which means-"
"MJ and Timmy are next. Not us."
The pair ran up to the school. Their kids were in the school yard, talking to their friends.
"Split up. I'll get Timmy."
Tails ran over to Timmy.
"We need to go."
"What? Why?"
"It's really hard to explain. If we don't it won't end well."
"Mary Jane! We need to leave." Sarah grabbed MJ by the hand.
"Wait, why?"
"I'll tell you later, come on!"
But MJ pulled her hand out of Sarah's grip.
"I just barley got to talk to my friends."
Sarah looked up to see the building behind them started to crack as a strong gust of wind came by.
"Why are you so worried about the building? The school is going to fix it tomorrow." Said MJ.
Then a piece of the building came of and flew towards MJ.
Her friends screamed as it collided with her, sending her flying.
She crashed to the floor, leaving a bloody trail behind her.
Tails heard the scream and knew what had happened.
He saw another piece of the building fall off, this time with a metal rod sticking out of it.
Tails grabbed Timmy to move him out of the way.
But instead he had just moved Timmy into the line of attack.
The rod pierced Timmy through the chest.
He collapsed.
The wind began to blow harder.
Tails didn't even had time to think about it.
Sarah was next and he had to save her.
