9. friends
After my brother's stupid adventure to third floor corridor, it felt like he was hiding something from me, I already knew he was just being the overprotective brother he has always been, Hermione told me he was angry at her because she told me everything, Everything including the three headed dog securing something, so in conclusion whatever it was Hagrid got from Gringotts was now in Hogwarts in third floor corridor. My brother was never going to tell me anything about this all, So I forgave Hermione when she told me everything.
I knew my brother very well, now he will investigate about whatever Hagrid retrieved from Gringotts.
My brother received a nimbus two thousand for his upcoming Quidditch matches from Professor McGonagall, he was really thrilled about it.
In our next charm class I was partnered with Neville and Hermione with Ron and neither of them wanted to be each other's partner, then Hermione being Hermione started telling off Ron, as he was pronouncing incantation wrong, So she helped him, but when charms class was finished Neville needed some help with cleaning the mess he made while trying to levitate and everyone was already out, so I helped him, when I got out Hermione was nowhere near.
In my next class, I was not believing my eyes Hermione wasn't in the class, so she asked lavender and Parvati "have you seen, Hermione??"
"isn't she in class??" replied lavender while looking around class "it's unbelievable"
"Okay," I replied and when class finished, I went to our common room, then dorm, but Hermione wasn't even there, then the next class was in five minutes, I thought she will be there but, she didn't appear in that class, I was worried about her there was Halloween feast in next few hours and I didn't know where she was, I went to the library this time but she wasn't there either, then I met, lavender who told her where Hermione was, So I went to the girls washroom.
I was in one of the toilets, so I called Hermione and she opened the chamber gate and came out, "aren't you going to be in feast??"
"I don't want to" she replied with wiping tear stains from her cheeks
"okay, the I'm not going either, I don't like Halloween it's the day when, It happened" I said impassively
"I'm sorry about that" said Hermione
"why were you here by the way??" I asked
"nothing happened, I just wanted to be alone" replied Hermione with a smile
"just because nothing I don't think Hermione Granger is going to skip classes" I said
"it's just- let's forget it??" Hermione responded, And I don't wanted to force her so I changed the topic, we didn't go to great hall or even our common we just were there for last couple of hours, talked about everything, she told me about Ron insulting her saying that she doesn't have friends, I just told her, I'm her friend no matter what, then suddey we heard something, on washroom's door, like someone entering but it felt like whatever it was, it was heavy but the moment we looked what it was, we didn't have words because Hermione and I both shrieked, when we looked at the door it looked like someone has closed it, then the thing which was a enormous, one-eyed something smelled like boogers with a giant club in his hand it approached us, we wanted to run but behind us was was just a wall, it looked like Hermione was going to faint, but suddenly the washroom door opened, I don't know what to feel happy or sad because someone came to save us but it was my brother and his friend. Then my brother threw a tap on one-eyed-monster which stopped it from approaching us but it turned towards my brother, lifting its club who was now in trouble
"hey, pea-brain" Ron shouted from another side of chamber and threw a metal pipe, which hit the monster's shoulder, it looked like the monster didn't even notice it, just because he heard him, the monster turned toward him, with lifting his club and my brother ran towards me and Hermione and helped us both to get on another side, as the monster was approaching Ron, Harry jumped on it, stupidly sticking his wand in the monster's nostrils, I cringed at it, monster started trying jerking off my brother but Harry get hold of his neck, he didn't fall, the frustrated monster got hold of Harry's feet and held him upside down, I and Hermione were sitting beneath sink, I didn't knew what to do, everything was out of my mind, my brother was inches away from getting hit by that club or getting ripped by the monster itself, but then Ron shouted "Wingardium Leviosa!"
Then the club flew from the monster's hand and rose higher and higher on top of it head, then dropped – on its owner's head with a sickening crack- the monster swayed in its place then fell flat on its face – with a thud which trembled the chamber.
After that all the professors came, scolded them all, gave Harry and Ron some house points for saving Hermione and me I just said I came here to use washroom but suddenly troll appeared, then Hermione tried to take down the troll on one-on-one, all these lies were of Hermione.
When we were heading towards common room, Ron apologized to Hermione, earlier, I wanted to punch Ron in his face but he did save our lives and apologized to Hermione so I let him go, One thing more that day happened Hermione became Ron's and Harry's friend too.
