I woke up to the smell of breakfast and coffee. Looking around, the bed was empty next to me and one of my outfits from home was laid out.
I took off Damon's clothes and put them in his hamper and changed into mine. It was a simple black tee-shirt, blue jeans, and my Black DC's. Plain white bra and underwear.
After getting dressed, I went to the bathroom and did my business, walked downstairs to see Damon putting a plate of pancakes on the table. Then he poured me a cup of coffee and sat down with his own.
We ate breakfast together in silence, Damon watching me the entire time. I looked up and smiled at him. He smiled back at me and finished eating.
When we were done, he took my plate and washed it for me then sat back down.
"All right, princess. When Stef gets home, I want you to tell us what it is that's so important. He didn't go to school today, he just went hunting."
"All right, Day. But Dad needs to be here too. It may concern him." I said.
He nodded and said, "Okay. I'll go on and give him a call. In the meantime, why don't you go to the parlor and watch some TV, or whatever you want. I'll be back."
"Okay." I smiled.
He got up and left the kitchen. I went to the parlor and sat on the couch. I didn't really feel like watching TV, so I took out my phone and texted Norman. I hadn't talked to him in a while and I wanted to see how he and his son, Mingus, were doing.
Hey Nor. How are you and Ming doing? -Bells
Hey sweet pea, We're doing great! How have you been? Mingus says hey. -Reedus
Tell him I said hey back. I've been okay. Had a little trip to the hospital a few days ago from dehydration. I'm good now though. I miss you guys. -Bells
Dang, sweet pea. You better start taking better care of yourself. I'm glad you're okay though. We miss you too. We're actually done filming for the season. And are on vacation. I know your birthday is coming up. Got any plans? -Reedus
I will, I promise. And I know, Chandler told me. At the moment, I don't have any plans. However, I'll be 18. I'm sure Dad has something planned. -Bells
I'm sure he does. I'll see if we can come up soon. Ming has been asking about seeing you. He misses his sister. -Reedus
That would be great. I gotta go. Love you guys. -Bells
We love you, too, sweet pea -Reedus
I put my phone away as Stefan walked in and sat next to me on the couch. Damon on the other side of me.
"Charlie will be here in a minute, princess. Need anything?"
"No. I'm fine. Thanks Day."
Charlie walked in and sat on the chair next to us.
"All right, what's going on Bells?"
I looked at the three and took a deep breath.
"Well, while I was out for three days, I had this strange dream. Only Cas showed up and said it wasn't a dream and that danger is coming in three months time. He said I needed to warn you guys. And anyone else that knows of the supernatural that's close to me.
I asked him what the danger was. He said he couldn't tell me, just that it was my destiny. I tried asking him what destiny, but just like Cas in Supernatural, he disappeared."
They all looked thoughtful for a moment. Then Dad got up and started packing. All three of us watched him like a pinball machine.
"Okay. Let me get this straight, Castiel, an angel of the Lord in your favorite show, showed up while you were unconscious and told you trouble was coming and it was your destiny?"
"Yes." I responded. He continued pacing, shaking his head and muttering things too intelligible for me to understand. Then he finally stopped and looked at me.
"Well shit. I was hoping it wouldn't have started this soon in your life, Bells. I mean, the hunting business is something no hunter has ever been able to get away alive from."
I stared at him disbelieving. Then stood up and yelled, "WHAT?!"
He walked towards me, took my hands and waited for me to calm down.
"Now Bells, before you get all upset, it's a part of who you are. I mean think about it. You are very popular, not only in the human world, but also I'm the world of Supernatural. Which also means, you have a lot of enemies.
Supernatural isn't just a show, Bells. It's real life. There really are Wendigos, Laviathans, Demons, Angels, you name it, their real.
Dean and Sam are real. John Winchester is real, only he didn't die permanently. Cas was able to bring him back."
I just stood there in complete shock. How the hell did my life become this? No wonder, I always thrived with every creature I met. If they were good, I befriended them, if they were bad, I killed them.
Holy FUCK!
"I need a drink." I mumbled. Damon got up and poured us both shots. He handed me mine and I downed it quickly. I'm surprised him and Stefan are being so calm about this. I figure they would have tried killing me by now or something.
"Why aren't you two trying to kill me now? Didn't you hear what Charlie just said?" I asked them.
They looked at each other, having a silent conversation. Then they both walked over and stood in front of me. Instead of killing me, they pulled me into a hug and held me for a moment. I was flabbergasted.
They pulled away and said, "We still love you, no matter what."
I couldn't believe it. Here I am, a hunter and my two vampire best friends still love and care about me. They ready are the best.
I breathed a sigh of relief and kissed them both on the cheek and smiled warmly at them. They both returned the gesture with their own.
"You guys simply amaze me. You really are the bestest best friends I could ever ask for. I don't know what I'd do if I lost that."
"We're here with you forever, princess. Besides, your too beautiful to leave, let alone kill." Damon joked. We all laughed and everyone's moods lifted.
Dad had to get back to work, so he left after giving me a hug and kiss on the head.
The brothers and I sat down and chatted for a while about the new information and they wanted to train with me. Since I just got out of the hospital, we would start tomorrow since it'll be Saturday.
Then, I thought about my friends at school. I don't know if it would be better to let them know what was going on or if it would be too dangerous for them. I decided to voice my concerns.
"Hey guys, I need your opinions. Should I tell the gang about the supernatural and what I am? Would it be safer that way or no?" I wondered.
They both thought about it then Damon looked at Stefan and he nodded.
Then Stef looked at me and said, "It's up to you, whether you trust them or not. We trust your judgement more than anyone elses. We won't tell you what to do, simply because there really is no right answer. You could always call Peter and ask him. You say he never lies to you, right?"
I nodded. So that's exactly what I did, I took my phone back out, hit the speed dial for Yoda and put it on speaker. He answered on the second ring.
"Little one, I don't see how it could hurt letting them know. With everything that happens in Mystic Falls, it's too dangerous to be ignorant and oblivious to it. Perhaps you could train all your friends. You already started training Tyler and Matt. There is one friend of yours you probably won't be able to trust. Someone who looks an awful lot like Katerina Petrova. The Salvatore Brother's might know her as Katherine Pierce."
We all looked at each other, slightly speechless. Why couldn't I trust Elena? I've known her since diapers.
"By the silence in your ending, I know you're wondering why you can't trust Elena. I'll let you in on a little secret. Every single Petrova doppelganger has been manipulative, conniving, and likes to play with the hearts of two men. The first one, Tatia, played with Elijah and Niklaus. Katerina, did too, then with the Salvatore's, and now Elena plans on doing the same. Just not with the Originals. It's in their bloodline as doppelgangers."
Stefan and Damon looked shocked about that, as was I. One of my own best friends plans on toying with my family. I don't think so.
"What should I do, Yoda?" I asked through gritted teeth. I was absolutely seething.
"There is nothing you can do right now, little one. Elijah will be showing up in a couple weeks, and Niklaus shortly after. Klaus wants to break his curse and in order to do that he needs her blood. Then he'll need her alive to make more hybrids. Although, there may be another way. But you'll have to talk to Amelia Bennet. She is a witch and she knows about the curse through one of the grimoires. Your friend Bonnie is also a witch. She just doesn't believe in it yet. Remember what I said Bells. I'll be in touch when you need me. We love you."
He hung up and I tried to process all this new information. It was starting to give me a headache. I needed another drink, so I went to the bar and got another glass of bourbon. Then another and another. Much better.
When I turned back around the brothers were looking at me worriedly. I smiled I'm reassurance. I was totally fine. Just easier to process shit with alcohol.
"Well guys, looks like we are knee deep in Shit Creek without a paddle. Wait a minute! If Castiel is real..Holy shit!" I exclaimed. They both jumped. I started flapping and laughing hysterically and they stared at me.
"Castiel, I pray to thee. Get your feathery ass down here!" I waited and just when I thought nothing would happen, I heard wings flapping and...
