12. lies

Ron asked his brother Charlie if he can take the dragon with him to Romania, we were in Hagrid's hut when Artemis came with a letter from Charlie and he responded with yes and gave us a plan, but that was difficult, we get out of Hagrid's hut, then Harry stopped me and asked Hermione and Ron to go ahead,

"What do you want to talk about" I asked curiously, "in mood of telling me something"

"It's- just, I lied about something" Harry stammered

"What?" I asked, I already knew he was going to talk about the stone that's the only thing he didn't tell me about, so I just pretended to move along with a confused look,

"It's about Christmas" Harry breathed, that's something new, I thought to myself "what about Christmas?" I questioned

He looked at me before speaking "I received a package this Christmas from someone, with our names on it, and a note saying that it-it belonged to our father"

"what was it" I demanded

"just come with me, I'll show you" he said, and I followed him, to our common room then to his dorms, he opened his trunk and took out a large black Clock, I looked from clock to him but then he threw the clock on his himself – then all I can see was Harry's head floating in air "it is our Dad's" Harry's floating head said, but I was not able to understand, what I felt, was it anger in me because my brother hid it from me, "why would you hide it from me??" I demanded

"I wanted to tell you the moment I got it – but the way things are happening, I just don't wanted to include you in anything, I just thought it won't be safe for you," He replied

"But it still don't justify that you hid something from me" I yelled at him,

"No, it doesn't but- I saw us, you me mum and dad, everyone together, which was something I desired but I was damn attracted towards it that I forgot that's not even what reality is, I just don't wanted you to go through the same" Harry breathed

" I don't understand" I said,

"the night when I got this, I thought about going to Library and read in restricted session about something" he started but I cut him off "about philosophers' stone??"

"how do you know, Hermione?" he said bewildered

"No, Hermione didn't tell me and I saw it on Chocolate frog card" I told him

"Ohh, Okay, then Flich''s cat Norris noticed me and I had to get back to common room, so I just ran, but in an attempt to hide, I accidentally entered a room, where was a mirror, it was called mirror of Erised, in it I saw, us our family United, happy together, it was like a dream came true but one day professor Dumbledore found me there or he already knew I was there and told me that it was just my heart's deepest desire, I was spending too much time staring in it"

"you saw them" I stammered, I didn't know what to say, he saw them, but didn't tell me, had our father's clock didn't tell me and now-now he is telling me everything, I wanted to yell at my brother, but then I realised that I was crying,

"I'm sorry, " said Harry, coming a step closer to me, but one thing I knew for sure, I can't stand him right now, so I just ran downstairs then to my dorms.

Next day Hermione told me how they were going to get Norbert (Hagrid's dragon) to astronomy tower, I was happy they were doing it for Hagrid, I wasn't going because I stopped talking to my brother, Hermione comforted me last night but didn't talk about what happened she understood me and I understand why my brother yesterday night told me about clock because without me knowing he couldn't have used it. He tried multiple times talking to me, apologized but I just can't talk to him right now.

They succeeded in getting get rid of dragon but failed in getting back in time So now Neville, Hermione, Harry and Malfoy have a detention together in forbidden forest with Hagrid. Malfoy because he tried to caught my brother and Hermione while delivering but failed and got caught himself, my brother and Hermione got caught because they forgot invisibility clock in tower while coming back, Neville just wanted to notify Harry and Hermione, Malfoy was planning something against them, Ron wasn't in any trouble because he already was in hospital wing because of the dragon bite the day when we received Charlie's letter, the dragon bit him.

"It was horrible" Hermione told me after coming back from her detention to forbidden forest

"how bad it can be, Hagird was with you" I replied

"Something attacked your brother-

"what" I shouted, looking directly into her eyes "what happened??"

"it-, I don't know what but Harry thinks it was you-know-who" Hermione gulped

"but-but he is dead" I stammered

"But Harry thinks you-know-who is trying to get his hands on philosopher's stone and Snape is going to steal it for him" Hermione told me

"but that's absurd, he is dead and-

"I don't know, Emma, There were centaur's who were also saying strange things,"

"centaur??" I asked

"Half men and half horse" replied Hermione,

"Harry's scar pained, when he encountered you-know-who in forest" added Hermione

"just keep him out of trouble for me please" I requested Hermione, she nodded.
