14. An uninvited guest
"Happy Birthday" my brother wished me the moment I woke up, I just looked at him and said "happy birthday to you too" then left, my brother is trying to talk to me ever since we got at dursleys, I know he thought once we are here I'll start talking to him but I just don't want to.
It was Harry and my birthday today, I didn't receive any letters for last one month, that's understandable but Harry didn't receive any either,
Today some Masons for coming over for Dinner with Dursleys, for which uncle Vernon gave harry and me specific instruction, that we don't exist.
I was sitting in my room, when I looked out of the window I saw my brother lying on grass, then Dudley came in view, she definitely knew the both were arguing. At least it was fun being around Here this time, I mean Dudley was really afraid of us doing magic, they do not know we can't perform magic outside of school. Hedwig and Artemis were most of the time in their cage, uncle Vernon was really ruthless, he can't even let birds fly.
After a while Harry came Room in too because it was time for uncle Vernon's guest.
"hey, I got you something," said Harry, the moment he came in and withdrew something from under his bed I looked at him, he was looking at me with a pleading look so I took it.
"How did you get it" I asked him and now I was feeling bad about not getting anything for Harry
"Artemis, I owl ordered from Leaky cauldron" replied Harry with a smile

something out of nowhere appeared in front of us , it was small, with big bulging eyes, and a long nose, it was wearing , what appeared to be a filthy pillow case, the moment it saw Harry and me bowed "Oh-Oh _ Great Harry potter-and Great Harry Potter's sister, it's an honour to meet you both"
"What" Harry asked bewildered
"I'm sorry Sir, For-for coming uninvited but- I must warn Harry Potter that he shall not return to Hogwarts," the-big-eyed-creature stammered,
"who are you??" I asked,
"Miss I'm Dobby the house elf" started Dobby looking terrified "Dobby just want you to understand it's not safe for Harry Potter to return to Hogwarts he must-
"Sir, I can not tell you" Dobby squeaked
"why is that?" i asked him
"Dobby-Dobby can not say that- but Dobby can warn you and stop you from going to Hogwarts Harry Potter sir"
"why don't you sit, Dobby then we talk" I said to Dobby, but he looked like shocked and then, started wailing,
"Did I said something wrong?" I whispered to Harry hut before he can answer
"No, No Mam, it's just no wizard or witch ever asked Dobby to sit, like- like en equal" said Dobby still sobbing
"Maybe you never met a decent wizard or witch before- started Harry but
Dobby shook his head and picked up the lamp from nearest table and started hitting it on his head " Bad dobby, bad dobby" Harry grabbed Dobby and I pulled lamp from his hand,
"what happened" asked Harry while holding Dobby
"Dobby need to punish himself" Dobby panted "Dobby spoke ill of his family-"
"your family?" I asked
"the wizard Family Dobby serves, Mam" said Dobby
"Do they know you are here??" Harry asked
Dobby shuddered "No, No Harry Potter sir, Dobby will have to punish himself for it, Dobby will have to iron his head Sir,"
"Won't they notice" I asked
"No, no mam, Dobby is always getting, punished sometimes they remind me doing some extra punishment" Dobby gulped
"Why don't you leave then?" asked Harry
"No, Sir, a house elf can only be free when his master gifts him some cloths or sets him free Sir, Sir they will never set me free, Dobby will have to serve until he dies sir," Dobby explained
"here we were dreading our next four weeks," said Harry to me, then asked Dobby " can't we help you with anything?"
I knew my brother almost regretted saying it I mean, dobby instantly started wailing again,
"Harry potter is greatest wizrad, sir you are so humble, No one has ever asked to help Dobby but you did sir, you are really a great wizard" I almost giggled because the more Dobby said the more my brother's ears became red.
"Ok, Dobby- Dobby will you please now tell me why I can't go to Hogwarts"
"Harry Potter sir there is a plot for causing horrifying things to happen in Hogwarts this year for your own safety sir you shall not go" Dobby squeaked.
"What is it?" I asked
"Dobby can not say miss" said dobby
"Dobby, I'll be going," said Harry "it doesn't matter what happens Professor Dumbledore is there and My friends are there, I just can't be here"
"Friends who don't even write to Harry Potter or his sister- said Dobby
"what do you mean" Harry and I asked together, Dobby looked terrified,
"Dobby is really sorry for doing this, Dobby thought If Harry Potter doesn't hear from his friends he won't go to Hogwarts, I had to steal yours too for making sure Harry Potter don't go, miss" squeaked dobby
"Dobby give us the letters" asked Harry angrily
"on one condition, if Harry Potter promises to not go" said Dobby, but the moment I and Harry lunged ourselves forward Dobby disappeared.
I hurriedly opened our room door Harry behind me, we saw Dobby standing downstairs with posts, then he did a great job at pissing Dursleys, he levitated the cake then dropped it on floor and disappeared.
Uncle Vernon started telling a cover up stories to Mr. and Mrs. Mason about us, in the story Harry and I were mentally unstable, so we must of the time were in our rooms, that's why we smashed the cake on floor but suddenly a owl came flying through window in the house, for some reason Mrs. Mason just ran like a maniac at the sight of owl, Mr. Mason quickly told us that his wife is scared of owls and ran after her, we ruined Uncle Vernon's little dinner party (actually it was Dobby who ruined it), Harry took the letter from the owl, Uncle Vernon snatched it from him.
the letter was from ministry of magic, warning us about the usage of underage magic (it was Dobby), as uncle Vernon also read the same letter now he knew we didn't tell him about we aren't allowed to do magic outside of school.
he locked us down in our room, we weren't allowed to go outside of it, he even installed a flop on door for giving us food through it, only time we can get out of room is when we needed to use bathroom.
