15. To the rescue
I opened my birthday's present which Harry gave me, he has bought me a beautiful pair of boots, which are enchanted to change color as owner's wish and a box full of candies, Now I was really feeling bad about not getting anything for him.
I looked at my brother he was lying on his bed staring at roof, " Thanks" I said "I'm sorry, I didn't bought you anything"
"It's okay," he replied, he was still staring at roof, I turned my attention towards my boots.
"I'm sorry" I heard my brother saying " I'm really sorry, I hid our Father's clock from you, I'm sorry I didn't tell you so many things but I was really trying to protect you from all that, I was really trying my best to make sure that you are just far away from it- I just think that's what mum and dad would've wanted me to do" it was new, before he has always apologized but never really confessed just, all the things he said before was either I'm sorry or please talk to me.
"Harry," I replied " it just hurt me, you know your lying and all that because we have always shared secrets with each other, we were always together and last year, you just cut me out"
"I'm sorry really, really sorry, I was just trying to protect-
"Harry I know you want to protect me but maybe I don't need your protection maybe we just should help each other" I replied,
"I was wrong about not telling you so many things last year" said Harry
"you were" I said
"From now on I'll tell your everything just please promise me you won't put yourself in harm's way" he requested
"Only if you promise the same?" I asked, he looked at me for a second and then nodded, I smiled and jumped from my bed and threw myself at my brother and hugged him tight
"and-and Hermione was really upset about everything, she never wanted to do all that she was just stuck between you and me, so you should start talking to her too" said Harry
"yeah, I know, I'm going to apologise to her too for just breaking our friendship" I replied
Harry and I were getting food from our aunt, twice a day through flap on our door, only time we were allowed out was when we needed to use washroom, so yeah basically a prison, oh I forgot It always was a prison.
"Harry, I understood everything but still I didn't understand one thing??" I asked my brother, while we were cleaning Artemis and Hedwig's cage.
"what?" said harry
"Why did you hid the invisibility clock from me?" I asked
"I just- I thought you will use it just like I did wondering around in castle at night, and that landed up me in a room with a mirror which could've driven me mental, that's all" he answered
"Okay, I really wanted to see that mirror too, at least once" I mumbled, Harry grabbed my hand and gently squeezed it.
"I know you wanted to see them, I too wanted you to, but it just made me feel worse than better" said harry "I was happy, I was happy to see us together but that-that's never going to happen so seeing it's just like a curse"
It was third night of imprisonment, I wasn't able to sleep, So I was just looking out of window, the darkness of night, there was no moon in sky just some stars illuminating,
then suddenly I saw something bright in the black sky, it was getting bigger by the second, then I realised it was something moving in coming near in our direction, I stood up from bed and moved forward towards window, then I saw it was a car, the lights were its headlights, then the car came near our window and stopped just a few inches away from the window, then I noticed Harry was standing beside me I didn't even knew when he woke up and came beside me, then we Heard "Harry" it was a familiar voice, then we saw of faces Fred and George Weasley, the moment the turned off car's headlights, in back seat was Ron Weasley.
"what are you doing here" My brother asked while leaning on window,
"To save your butts" said one of the twins
"but-
"Harry we don't have much time just grab your stuffs and let's get out of here" Ron cut Harry off
"but- my and Emma's trunks are in, cupboard downstairs" my brother stammered
"let's go get them," one of the twins, came in our room through window, "Now, Harry get your ass moving we gotta get you trunk
"now, get in the car," Ron told me
I grabbed Artemis and Hedwig's cage and gave them to Ron, then I picked my, present in meantime both Harry and the twin came with Trunks, then they put them in the car's trunk.
"Is your uncle dead or something" asked twin from the car, it was great that none of them were aware of all the things happening, but I was wrong as I heard someone, coming upstairs,
hastily I got in the car in backseat with Ron and the twin with the other in front, when Harry started jumping in car from window our Uncle appeared at door who shouted "what do you think ,you are doing!!" but in meantime harry hastily got in the car and Fred or George whoever was driving fired the engine, and the Car flew away up in the sky..
"First of all tell me which one of you is fred and which one is George," I asked the moment, I settled myself between, Harry and Ron
"Naah, We don't think So," they both replied together
"Driver is Fred and other one is George" Ron replied,
"I thought we should throw him out"
suggested Fred to his brother.
"why you were here?" Harry asked Ron
"to rescue you" Ron beamed
"I mean how you knew, we were in trouble" asked Harry "what is this car"
"first neither of you were replying to me or Hermione, I mean we understand why Emma didn't but you will have to tell, second dad found out that you received a letter for doing underage magic, so we knew something was wrong and this is our Dad's car" said Ron
Harry and I told Ron everything from we not getting letters to why we received a letter from ministry of magic for usage of underage magic
"an Elf?" Ron asked confused,"
"he didn't tell" I replied
"someone must have sent him, they always follow orders, never do as they wish" Ron reckoned
"someone must be doing prank with you, Harry who just, someone with grudge against you?" Fred suggested
"Draco Malfoy" Harry and Ron both said together
"Draco Malfoy as son of Lucious Malfoy" aske d George
"Yes it is him" Ron answered
"Do you reckon Fred, dad told us Lucious Malfoy was in league with you-know-who" said George to Fred
"Yeah, dad told us Malfoy got away by saying he was in control of you-know-who" replied Fred
"Yeah, Like father like son, it is Draco Harry" Ron declared "he sent you an elf to your place"
"look whoever this guy is just pulled a good prank" indicated Fred
"How you all can be sure, it's him?" I asked them both
"then who else do you think can be" Ron asked
"maybe us?" Fred quipped,
"No Fred, our elf name is Ron," George sarcastically added, Harry and I started laughing
"Ha ha ha, Really funny" Ron retorted.
It was dawn when Fred started to gradually flew car downwards, then after a fractions of moments we were just above some inches from ground, then the the car landed, on road, ahead of us was a house, it was like while building someone was just adding a block as memebers started to increase, as it came in view it looked strange but it was beautiful. It was definitely Weasley's house.
When we reached the backyard, all of us got out of car and Fred and George were very careful about it but someone was standing just outside, her hand on her hips, it was Mrs. Weasley, the moment she saw us she came running towards us.
"Brace youself," fred whispered to George,
"What do you think YOU WERE DOING, FLYING OFF A CAR IN LATE NIGHT?" Mrs. Weasley shouted angrily at Fred and George
"Rescuing Harry and Emma, their muggle guardian were starving them mom" George replied, then Mrs. Weasley looked at us, her anger evaporated suddenly and with a smile she asked us "how are you Harry and Emma?"
"We are fine" I replied with a smile, then Mrs. Weasley told us to go inside, but as Ron started to follow us her mother stopped him, the moment Harry and I got inside we both heard Mrs. Weasley shouting at the three of them for their recklessness.
Harry and I were just fascinated with everything in the house, everything was happening magically, the dishes were getting washed, the vegetables were getting chopped, then Mrs. Weasley and Ron, Fred and George came following her with our trunks.
"You both must be hungry," said Mrs. Weasley "all of you just get to the table, I'll bring breakfast?"
"what will you like Harry and Emma, eggs, bacon or anything else?" asked Mrs Weasley
"Eggs will be fine" Harry and I replied .
When we started having breakfast, Percy came too, He had a newspaper in his hand,
"Good morning mom" said Percy, when he noticed us, he asked Harry "when did you get here?"
"just right now, Percy" replied Mrs. Weasley and served some eggs to Percy, then Percy asked some questions to both of us, after that he completely focused on newspaper, then someone came running downstairs and shouted, "Mom, where is- but stopped the moment saw I and Harry then ran upstairs, it was younger sister of Ron, Ginny. Ron told Harry that she was always talking about Him and asking questions.
Then we heard some noises coming from outside, then Fred shouted "Dad's home mum"
Then a man came, he was balding, his hair were ginger red and wore glasses,
"Good morning kids" said the man, and sat down for breakfast then started talking about his day as Percy asked him.
"have you met , Harry and Emma, Arthur?" Mrs. Weasley asked while coming towards the table with some eggs and bacon, then Mr. Weasley looked around table when his eyes landed on us, "Ohh good lord, is it harry potter?" asked Mr. Weasley and forwarded his hand to shake Harry's then he looked at me, "for a second I thought you were Ginny, you've got red hair, by the way how are you Dear??" he asked me.
Then he started talking about muggle world, he was really great and sweet as he was amazed with little muggle things like how a Rubber duck functions.
