Monday morning came, and I got up to get ready for school. I am currently wearing a purple tank top that says, THIS IS HOW YOU KEEP AN IDIOT BUSY, LOOK ON THE BACK. And the back says, THIS IS HOW YOU KEEP AN IDIOT BUSY, LOOK ON THE FRONT. For pants, I'm wearing ripped black skinny jeans. A leather belt. My Purple and black DC's. Purple and black underwear and bra.

For makeup, I went with purple eyeliner, black eyeshadow and deep purple lipstick. I put my hair in a side French braid and glanced at myself in the mirror. Nodding at myself approvingly, I made my way downstairs where Dad had coffee and french toast waiting for me.

"Peter and Char are at the Cullen's with Jasper. I'm going to head to work. If you need anything, give me a call. Be careful Bells." he said as he walked out the door.

Finishing my coffee and breakfast, I washed my dishes quickly and grabbed my car keys and headed to the Boarding House.

Damon and Stefan were waiting on me. While Stef got in the car, Damon came to my side and gave me a hug and kiss on the cheek and told me to be safe. I told him I would, and I had Stef to watch over me.

Then he walked back inside and I headed towards school.

Parking in my regular parking spot, our friends were waiting on us, including Elena, though I don't consider her a friend anymore. I still keep up pretences.

"Hey guys, I'm back, anybody miss me?" I asked as I hugged them all.

"Of course we missed you, Bells. School sucks without you." responded Care. I smiled and hooked my arm through hers as we walked inside. We headed to our lockers and got our books ready for class.

We all went our separate ways, Stefan and I heading to English. Mr. Barret greeted me and welcomed me back.

"Just so you know, Bella. The teachers and I discussed a few things when you went to the hospital. You don't have any homework from last week, however, we would all like you to write a paper to still get a grade for each class. Afterwards, you'll get the same homework as everyone else." he told me as he pulled me to the side. I accepted and sat in my seat.

Class started and I paid attention the entire time, taking notes as he went on with the lesson.

An hour later, the bell rang for 2nd period. Stefan and I walked out and were greeted by Bonnie as she walked to Calculus with us. Calculus wasn't my best subject, but I still got through it with an A.

Mrs. Green handed us a worksheet to work on for the hour. I finished mine with 15 minutes to spare. I turned it in and got my sketchpad out, glancing at the drawings I did last Tuesday. I couldn't really tell what I was trying to draw. I just remember sketching mindlessly. Hmmm, I thought. Oh well.

The bell rang, signaling the end of class. I quickly put my sketchbook away and got up. Stef and Bon were waiting for me, I hooked my arms through theirs as we walked to Spanish class together.

Spanish was another subject I wasn't best at. But having Stefan around, and he's been to school almost a dozen times, help tremendously. Mrs. Lopez was a great teacher too. Very patient and kind, for which I was grateful.

After learning the months, days, and colors in Spanish, third period finally ended and we made it to 4th. Also known as lunchtime. I hooked arms with the witch and vamp again and we walked to the cafeteria where our friends were waiting.

Getting our food, we sat down at our table, Jeremy joining.

"Hey Bells. Would you mind coming over after school? My parents said they wanted to speak to you. It's nothing bad. I guess they just want to see how you're doing. I guess your Dad told them what happened." asks Tyler.

"Sure Ty. I'll be there after I take Stefan home." I replied, sending him a warm smile. He blushed and smiled back.

Stefan glanced between us momentarily, hoping I wouldn't notice. I saw Matt looking a bit worried. I just let it go.

Lunchtime ended and we went to Bio. Teach had us doing a project for DNA. I worked with Stef and Edward. Might as well work together in school of we're going to work together outside of school.

Finally free period came, Stef and I joined our friends outside. I had gone to the locker room and changed into my cheer uniform.

The girls were warming up, while Stef and the guys were passing the football around and tackling each other. All the girls greeted me.

Then Stef, Ty, Matty, Care and Bon all gathered around me and got into formation.

They finished with their welcoming cheer they put together for me and we all did a group hug.

"That was the best thing I have ever seen. Thank you so much, you guys. You're the best. Oh, I love you sweet, crazy people!" I gushed.

The girls and I did our cheer routine with the biggest smiles on our faces.

When we were done, the bell rang for the end of the school day. We all changed back to our clothes and walked to our lockers to gather out stuff we needed to take home. Stefan waited on me and we were met with the Cullen's at my car.

"Hello Bella. It's so good to see you. We were kind of hoping we could get together sometime to get to know each other better. Maybe this Friday after school?" asks Alice after she hugged me. I smiled and agreed.

They walked to their vehicles and drove off. Stef and I got into the Impala and headed to his house, where Damon was waiting on the front porch. I got out and walked up to him so he could see I was okay.

He looked me over, sighed in relief and hugged me before pulling back.

"How was school?" he asked.

"It was great, Day. All my friends, including your sweet brother, all gave me an awesome welcoming."

"Good. I was worried all day. Zach kind of made me leave the house because I was getting on his nerves. I'm glad you had a good day though. Now I can rest easy."

I laughed and kissed his cheek.

"Well, Day. I gotta get to the Lockwood's. The Mayor and Carol want to talk to me about something. I'll probably end up meeting the shape-shifters. Would you like to accompany your super awesome best friend?"

"Hell yeah. Wouldn't miss it, princess." he smiled genuinely.

We got into the car and headed to the Lockwood's. I rang the doorbell and the Mayor answered.

"Bella, it is so good to see you. Please, come in. Have a seat in the office, we'll be right with you." the Mayor greeted.

Damon and I sat down and waited for them to return. I lay my head on Damon's shoulder.

A minute later, they walked in and I stood back up and hugged Carol.

"Hello Bella. Thank you for coming in such short notice. We understand that you have run into some problems. And before you ask. Don't worry, we know everything. Charlie informed us.

Richard is actually apart of it. If you don't already know, he comes from a long line of werewolves. When the Quileute's showed up, he knew exactly what they were. While we know they're shape-shifters and not werewolves, we still offered them rooms here in the Manor." Carol explained.

"Well Mrs. Lockwood, I appreciate the trust and everything. What exactly are you proposing though, might I ask?" I questioned.

"Well, as you know, since Richard is a werewolf, and Tyler being his son, if Tyler triggers his wolf, he'll be one too. Do you know how that happens?"

I nodded and said, "Yes. By killing someone even by accident." I responded knowingly.

"That's correct. While we don't want this to happen to Tyler, we cannot ignore the chance of it happening." I nodded in understanding. I couldn't imagine any parent wanting that for their child.

"In other news, we were wondering if you would like to meet the shape-shifters? They've heard so much about you, they wanted to meet you in person."

"Of course. That would be great." I smiled.

"Splendid."

She guided me to their large living room area while Damon and the Mayor talked more in the office. I sat on the couch while she went and got the Quileute's. I'm not sure how many I knew besides Jacob.

A minute later, seven very tall Quileute natives walked in. The Alpha, I'm assuming stood in the middle, directly in front of me.

"Bella Swan, we are the Quileute pack from La Push, Washington. We have heard so much about you from Billy Black and your father, Charlie.

My name is Sam Uley, I am the Alpha. To my left, is my Beta, Jared Cameron and Third in Command, Paul Lahote. To My right is Jacob Black, Embry Call, Quil Atera V, and Seth Clearwater.

We understand that there is trouble descending toward Mystic Falls. Billy and the rest of the Council granted us permission to help with anything you needed.

We want you to know that through Billy, you are an official member of the pack and apart of our family. We hope you accept."

"I do. It is a pleasure meeting you and your pack. I've read about your legends. They've always intrigued me. I know almost everything there is to know about the supernatural. I'm willing to talk about it sometime if you wish." I said addressing the entire pack.

Sam looked at his pack and they all nodded.

"We would be honored, Bella Swan. We also want to know if you'd like to join us for a bonfire this Saturday. You can bring some of your friends. And don't worry, we know you have a couple traditional vampires as friends. They are welcome to join.

We were made solely to be against Cold One's, especially the ones that kill innocents. We'll tell the legends to your friends that you trust. As you're a part of our pack, we trust you."

I smiled kindly and said, "I'll be there."

They all relaxed and smiled at me.

"I have one question."

"Anything." Sam answered.

"Could you possibly show me your wolves?" I asked eagerly.

They all laughed and Paul wrapped and arm around my shoulder and said, "I like her already." I laughed with them and we headed outside just inside the treeline. I stopped as they went behind trees to strip, since theirs clothes would rip if they transformed with them on.

Then seven large wolves came out and stood in a line. I gazed at them in awe.

"Okay, I want to see if I get this right. The Chocolate brown one is Quil, the Silver one is Paul, The Russet one is Jake, The Black one is Sam, The light brown one is Seth, The Grey and Black speckled one is Embry, and the Silver one with Black on the face and ears is Jared. Am I right?"

They all nodded their wolfy heads. I clapped happily, jumping up and down. They all snorted at my silliness then went and transformed back into humans.

"That was great, Bella. How'd you know?" asked Paul.

"Well, I'll let you in on a little secret."

Then I walked up to him, put my hand on his arm, leaned in and whispered in his ear for dramatic effect, "I'm smart."

They guys all laughed at his expression, then he started laughing. "We'll all get along just fine." he said.

We all headed back inside and Tyler stopped me as everyone left us alone.

"Hey, Bells. I'm really glad you're back. I've really missed having you around. I meant what I said. I hope you know that." he said, blushing slightly.

I smiled and kissed his cheek and walked to the front door where Damon was waiting.

"Thanks again for stopping by, Bella. it was great seeing you. Oh, before I forget, the Founder's Day Ball is coming up and we wanted to remind you that you registered for Miss Mystic Falls. Make sure you bring an Escort. It's this Saturday at noon." said Carol.

I had completely forgotten about that.

"I'll be there, Carol. Thanks for having me. I'll see you guys later."

"Bye, sweetie."

Damon and left. I was kind of freaking out about the Ball. Who the heck was going to be my escort?

Dropping Damon off, I finally made it home. Walked in to find dinner made by Charlotte. I took a quick shower, dressed in my pajamas and went and ate quickly. I gave Char and Peter a hug since Dad was already in his room asleep.

I got in my bed and quickly fell asleep myself. It's been a kind, but great day.
