17. The burrow

I was staying in Ginny's room and harry in Ron's. Ginny was very energetic and outgoing just not in front of Harry, because most of the time I talked with her was when Harry was not around she was really infatuated with my brother, as far as I can tell it was her crush on my brother. We have also sent a letter to Hermione to know we were at the burrow and what really happened at Dursleys.

It was fun being around Weasleys, they are lovely, sweet, kind and generous, Mrs. Weasley is very good at taking care of others and Mr. Weasley is kind and sweet. Most of the time we heard explosive sounds coming from Fred and George's which was considered normal, Percy was most of the time in his room studying, or if he came out he was just a subject of Fred and George's prank and when I saw Ron's room it was all violent shade of orange because he is a big fan of a Quidditch team called chudley cannons. There was also a Ghoul in attic which always made noises of dropping pipes and boxes especially when it was quiet. I most of time was with Ginny as it was nice to have a girl of your age, in a house full of boys and I also started playing Quidditch with Fred, George, Ron and Harry. It was fun broom flying around, it felt like freedom from everything, I insisted on Ginny playing as well, first everyone was against it but soon they conceded as Mr. Weasley allowed, the flying experience is indescribable and Some days we just threw some gnomes from yard.

Before two weeks for first September we received our Hogwarts letter, for start of year and this year school supplies, Hermione sent us a letter for telling when she is visiting Diagon alley so we all are going the very same day.

Finally the day came when we were going to visit Diagon alley, Yeah, just the problem was mode of transportation, Harry and I were just looking at each other when Mrs. Weasley told us what we had to do and for that, Ron showed us how it's done, all you have to do is stand in a fireplace and throw some Floo powder while saying the name of place you wish to go, then green flames will envelope you and you are gone.

"Harry, You should do it now, if you understood" Mrs. Weasley asked

"ohh, Okay" said My brother and took some Floo powder then went into chimney to stand, after clearing his throat he threw the floo power and shouted "Diagon-alley" and Green flames erupted and he disappeared; next turn was mine, I got handful of floo powder and went into chimney while throwing floo powder I shouted "Diagon alley", green flames Engulfed me, then I felt like something was swallowing me up, I felt like I'm gonna throw up, but fell right out of something, then somebody helped me standing, it was Mr. Weasley and when I looked around me it was leaky cauldron, tables surrounding the place, Ron was also standing just beside, Mr. Weasley, I looked for my brother to be seen then suddenly someone else came out of Chimney it was Fred,

"where is Harry?" I asked to Mr. Wesley

"yeah, he came before us??" said asked Fred from behind me, while cleaning his cloths of dirt

"he hasn't come yet" said Mr. Weasley looking at both of was with confusion,

"He just came before me" I replied, then George also came out, then Ginny after her Percy.

"he must have said it wrong?" Said Mr.

Weasley, "the poor kid will be someplace different, we will have to find him"

"where is Harry?" asked Mrs. Weasley the moment she came out,

"not here" George answered

"Oh, God, Percy, Fred and George Go look for him in every other chimneys in Diagon alley" Mrs. Weasley ordered and they all left, I followed them.

But ten minutes after entering the Diagon alley, we found him with Hagrid and it looked like Hermione already met them. So he ended up in nearby Knocktrun alley, which mostly sells dark objects but luckily Harry met Hagrid there who got him out of that horrible place. After our reunion again we all parted I, Harry, Ron and Hermione went our ways Fred and George theirs, Percy, Ginny and Mr. And Mrs. Weasley together for buying Ginny's school supplies and Mrs. Weasley told us to meet at Flourish and Blotts around five in the evening

The moment we were on our way, Hermione stopped me, and I asked my brother and Ron to go ahead, "what is it hermione??"

"It's just, I wanted you to know that I'm-

"it's alright, Hermione" I replied with a smile "Actually, I'm sorry was really angry at that time so I behaved like a jerk"

"I also behaved like a jerk, I just literally hexed my best friend" said Hermione

"Yeah, you did but you kept your promise of saving my brother ass too" I indicated, then Hermione and I just Grinned at each other and moved forward to meet boys, we almost visited every shop, we met some of our fellow year mates too, when we visited Quality Quidditch Supplies, boys drool over brooms, we literally had to drag both of them out of the shop, we bought our ice creams from Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, before going to Flourish and Blotts.

When we get to the book store there was a massive queue, then we saw a huge banner of a man, in royal blue robes, with toothy grin and blonde hair, he was Gilderoy lockhart, we were going to read his every book in our second year in defense against the dark arts class, he was singing books, by the size of queue it looked like everyone was a big fan of him, when we got our books from the shelves, Mrs. Weasley took them from us for getting them signed apparently she was also a fan, Hermione was also infatuated by him when I asked her, she told me everything about him, so he has literally done eeverything when I got a chance to see him, he was getting photographed, he had this big toothy smile on his face, his tooth were shining white, his hair he was wizard in his thirties maybe, so he was charming and popular in witches, then he caught my eyes and my brother's.

That was tough for my brother as Mr. Lockhart pulled my brother towards him, harry looked like, he wanted to run in opposite direction. After getting photographed he gave my brother his this year's books, Free-of-cost and announced he was going to teach us this year, my brother who looked quite embarrassed, put the books in Ginny's cauldron and told her she can use them, and came out of crowd, I, Ron and Hermione followed him,

Then out of nowhere Draco Malfoy appeared as always he taunted "famous harry potter can't even buy Books without making the front page in Daily prophet"

"Leave him alone, he doesn't want any of it?" I heard Ginny defending Harry, I swore I didn't even saw her coming,

"You've got yourself a girlfriend potter" mocked Malfoy, Ginny's ear just went red, Ron looked like he was about to say something but stopped as a Blonde Man with a cane out of nowhere appeared, he looked like senior Draco.

"Well, well Harry Potter" said the man, Malfoy smirked at us, So this was the senior Malfoy,

"nice to meet you Mr. Potter, Draco has told me everything about you and your sister" said Malfoy while sneering,

"kids, what are you-" started Mr. Weasley but stopped as he saw Draco and his Father "Lucius"

"Arthur Weasley" said Mr. Malfoy "Doing so many raids, working overtime but still ministry" he picked up one of the Ginny's books, and looked at it, smirked as he was satisfied and looked at the old book "not paying you well"

"I do my work with honesty that's all, Lucius" replied Mr. Wesley

"But still you mix up with the like" Mr. Malfoy said while looking at Hermione's parents with disgust, I felt a surge of anger, then he added "I never thought your family could sink so-

But He was not able to complete his sentence as Mr. Weasley has just thrown himself at him, and knocked a shelf dozens of books flew out of it, "Get him, Dad" Fred and George were shouting, Mrs. Weasley was shrieking, but luckily Hagrid came out of nowhere and broke up the fight, before it can get anymore ugly, there was cut on Mr. Weasley's lip and Mr. Malfoy was having an eye injury, he was still holding Ginny's old transfiguration books which he thrust it at her, with his eyes glittering with malice, said "take this girl- this the best your father can afford" then beckoned Draco to follow him and swept from the shop.

It was a good day overall just except the Malfoy part, Ginny and I were in her room, I was putting on pyjamas for bed and Ginny was going through her supplies.

"You finally managed to spoke in front of my brother" I teased her, her face was red once again, then I added "you can talk in front of him", Ginny was just ignoring whatever I was saying, so I just went to her bed and sat beside her and took the notebook from her then put it aside.

"He is not going to bite you" I said still she was just looking at her hands "neither going to kill you" she still ignored me

"Okay, Ginny look, I'm your friend you can share whatever it is with me" I told her, that's what caught her eyes, And finally she spoke "it's just I feel like I'll say something stupid or embarrassing in front of him like today and now please can we change the topic"

"Okay, Okay but we will talk about it??" I asked, she nodded, then I added "for the record he is just some regular stupid guy, you don't have to be that careful"

I was really feeling so glad that I was here, I almost dreaded the day of going back to Hogwarts, we just had one more day at the burrow, Harry told me that he was really happy about being here and somewhat jealous of Ron because next year he will come here and we will have to face the wrath of Dursleys. I agreed with him on this.

That very night Mrs. Weasley made Harry and mine favourite dishes for us and after Finishing the dinner Fred and George Filibuster fireworks; filled the room with red and blue stars that bounced from ceiling to wall for at least half an hour, then it was time for a mug of hot chocolate and bed.

Next dawn everyone was in so hurry that we all made a chaos before leaving for Kings Cross, Fred and George were packing something that took their most of the time and when they wanted to go to bathroom, Ron was stuck in it, not coming out so they ended up, throwing one or two spiders into bathroom which caused Ron to run like hell between his bath, Ron is really afraid of spiders ; Mrs. Weasley scolded Fred and George for at least fifteen minutes, when everyone somehow managed to get into the car, Fred and George forget something, so they ran and came back within a few minutes. When everyone was finally at peace, we drove to Kings Cross. We were late there were only five minutes before train's departure's so first Ginny and Mrs Weasley got onto the platform, followed by Fred and George followed by Percy then me and Mr. Weasley, the train was about to departure so Mr. Weasley hurriedly got my trunk on train, then he looked around for Ron and Harry but they were nowhere to be seen, Mrs. Weasley was also looking for them.

"What happened" Fred asked me, coming beside me,

"Ron and Harry aren't here?" I told him

"are you sure they aren't already on train?" Fred asked me

"they were last to come but nobody came" I responded, but then train whistled, I saw Mr. Weasley trying to go through barrier to kings cross station but he was not able to Move, he looked confused then train started moving,

"WE WILL GET THEM TO HOGWARTS" shouted Mrs. Wesley

"There MUST BE SOME PROBLEM WITH BARRIER THAT'S ALL KID, HAVE A NICE YEAR" Mr. Weasley shouted

"let's get your trunk into a compartment" said Fred while picking up my trunk then added "they will find Harry and Ron not a big problem, just a bit of glitch maybe in magic"

"Yeah, they still must be stuck on other side of platform" I said

"yeah"

Ginny and I started finding Hermione and when we did, the first question she asked "where are your brothers?"

"not on train" I answered

"what!" Hermione exclaimed

"yeah, apparently somehow the barrier between station and platform got closed and they were not able to get through it, So they will be dropped by now Mr. And Mrs. Weasley" I explained

"but how barrier got closed" Hermione asked

"some glitch in magic, according to Fred" I replied

We girls chatted throughout our train journey, about everything, when the old lady with trolley, came I again this time brought whatever I can. When we were getting near Hogsmaede, Hermione told us to get dressed.

By river only first year's go, so Ginny left with Hagrid and other first year, for second year and above there are some carriages, what pulling is it quite unknown because It's invincible or just magic as always.

When we got into the school we heard rumour but then Fred and George confirmed it and yes I know my brother and Ron can do this together, they flew a damn flying ford angila From London to here, they must be out of their minds. Now Hermione was just babbling about what could've happened, because his brother and Ron are already in school in professor Snape's office.

Soon sorting ceremony begin, it was professor flitwick this year who was hosting instead of Professor McGonagall who was nowhere near, When Ginny came to Gryffindor, we all cheered madly, then it was just one boy remaining before his sorting, Professor flitwick announced "the next student for sorting is Mr. Edward Susan, he is going to be sorted into second year because last year due to some health issues he wasn't able to appear and he had to take home classes,"

Edward moved forward towards the chair, he has dark black hair and His height was similar to Harry.

When he sat, Mr. Flitwick put the sorting hat on him, sorting hat took a minute with him before shouting "SLYTHERIN"

"One more prat added to Slytherin's," I heard George saying,

After Dinner, We instantly asked the new password from Percy and Ran to our common room, but still Harry and Ron wasn't here, after we waited for few more minutes they both came through the hole, but the moment they came in everyone surrounded them.

"Hey, you should've asked us too?" asked fred to harry and Ron

"it was brilliant" complimented George

"when did you planned this all?" asked Fred but Harry and Ron both just looked like out of words but in a few minutes everyone in Gryffindor common room started admiring their brilliant entrance this year, they were both over the moon but Hermione showed no sympathy and started scolding them, for not waiting on platform or sending letters and Flying a car from London to here.
