Chapter 3 Rescue Mission
OUTER SPACE 3:00 PM
Tails, orbot and cubot were flying in the tornado rocket in outer space they were on their way to the death egg to rescue sonic
" alright i'm picking up the death egg on my radar" said tails
The death egg appeared from the distance
" alright there it is" said tails
" but how are we gonna get in there without being caught" said cubot
" with my cloaking device of course" said tails as he pressed a button turning the entire rocket invisible.
" cool" said orbot and cubot.
they were flying closer to the death egg.
tails notice that 2 robots are at the landing area .
" there are 2 robots at the landing area i,m going have to take them out" said tails
tails landed the invisible rocket in the landing area he then got out.
the 2 robots noticed him before they could call for security tails took out his blaster and shot both of them
" alright the coast is clear you guys can come out" said tails
orbot and cubot came out of the invisible rocket.
" okay guys where is sonic" tails asked
" were on the 9th floor and sonic is on the 1st floor" said orbot
" alright lets go " said tails
MEANWHILE ON THE 1ST FLOOR OF THE DEATH EGG
" what do you mean they escaped" said Dr Robotnik
" orbot and cubot got into a escape pod some of your old robots try to escape too but i took care of them" said metal sonic
" well i guess its not that big of a deal those 2 idiots don't have the power to ruined my plan" said robotnik.
BACK AT THE 9TH FLOOR
tails , orbot and cubot looked down the hallway and they saw the elevator but there were tons of robots in the hall
" how are we gonna get past those robots" said orbot
tails then took off the bag that was hanging from his shoulder and started looking through it.
tails was looking through his bag of gadgets and took out a blue box with a gold button on it
" with this" said tails
orbot and cubot were confused
tails pressed the gold button on the box and then threw it in the hallway the robots saw the blue box and the gold button was blinking rapidly then suddenly a small robot came out of the box.
It resembled a chao
" Hi i'm Omochao watch me dance " said Omochao as he started dancing
The robots were impressed by omochao's dancing and got closer to him to get a better view.
Tails then looked through his bag and took out a small red button.
He pressed the red button and then suddenly omochao exploded killing all the robots.
orbot and cubot were surprised by this .
" what was that" said cubot
" My Newest Invention Explosive Chao" Said Tails
" explosive chao ? " said orbot and cubot
" works everytime no one can resist the cuteness of chao" said tails
" cool but what's a chao?" said cubot
" i will tell you later lets go" said tails
tails , orbot and cubot walked through the hallway and went to the elevator but there was a sign on it
ELEVATOR OUT OF ORDER NOT WORKING
" dang it how are we supposed to get to the 1st floor" said tails
" well we could take the stairs but there separated into staircase's and to get to each one you'll have to walk through each floor of the death egg but tons of robots are guarding each floor" said orbot
tails then took out 3 blasters from his bag and gave 2 of them to orbot and cubot.
" i guess were gonna have to fight are way to the first floor" said tails
tails turned on his blaster.
" you guys ready" said tails
orbot and cubot nodded
" alright lets go rescue sonic" tails said as he, orbot and cubot ran up to the stairs.
8TH FLOOR
The 8th floor was the teleportation room where robots who were being made at factories got transported here with a teleporting machine.
the only robot in there was a big robot that was black, had 2 red eyes , and big fist
tails, orbot and cubot came up from the stairs and the robot notice them.
the robot tried to smash tails with his fist but tails dodged his attacks and then jump over him and blasted him in the back. the robot fell to the ground and tails got in front of him. the robot tried to grab tails but tails finished him off with a sharp kick in the face.
orbot and cubot were surprised by how easily tails took that robot out.
" alright to the next floor" said tails as he , orbot and cubot ran up the stairs heading to the 7th floor.
7TH FLOOR
the 7th floor was the dining room
robots were drinking oil but stopped when they saw tails, orbot and cubot.
orbot tried to blast them but the robots dodged the attacks and one grabbed orbot by the neck.
before they could do anything to him tails and cubot took the oil cans that was on the table and threw the oil all over the robots.
tails then blasted the oil that was on the robots causing it to catch on fire making all the robots catch on fire and die.
" thanks for the save" said orbot
" no problem" said tails
tails, orbot and cubot then went up to the stairs heading the 6th floor
6TH FLOOR
the 6th floor was the room for useless of robots there were 2 robots in the room
the 2 robots saw tails, orbot and cubot before they had time to react tails shot both of them with his blaster went up to the stairs that lead to the 5th floor.
5TH FLOOR
the 5th floor was the prison cells
tails, orbot and cubot came up to the floor.
tails was shocked to see all the prisoners .
" what are all these people are doing here" said tails
" they were arrested for trying to stand up against robotnik" said orbot
" hey tails long time no see" said a female voice
tails looked at the cell up in front of him and inside it was cat with black hair and wearing a red dress
" Honey" said tails
" hey tails" said honey the cat
" honey who that" said a red armadillo and a yellow flying squirrel who were in the same cell as honey .
" mighty, ray, you guys are in here too" said tails
"yes unfortunately" said mighty the armadillo
" why are you guys in here" said tails
"we were put in here because we tried to destroy one of robotnik's robot making factories" said ray the flying squirrel
" wow its pretty brave of you guy's to tried to stand up to robotnik" said tails
" thanks" said honey
" well its good to see a friendly face that's not in a cell" said a mature voice.
tails looked at the prison cell on the right and inside it was the president and the GUN commander
" no way they got you too" said tails
" yes i was arrested because i refuse to step down as president" said the president
" me and my soldiers tried to fight off robotnik's army but some guy wearing a mask killed most of my soldiers" said the GUN commander.
" that's an awful thing to do blessed those poor soldier's soul's " said another female voice
tails looked at the prison cell on the left and he saw a adult female rabbit and 5 chao's
it was vanilla the rabbit AKA cream's mom.
" vanilla" said tails
" hi tails" said vanilla
" what are you doing in here" said tails
" well back at green hill robots were arresting chao's because robotnik said he doesn't want rodent's roaming around his world. some robots tried to take cheese away from cream but she refused to let them take cheese away. the robots were about to attack cream but i got in the way and tried to defend her i told cream to runaway and she did but after she did one of the robots punched me in the face knocking me out and then i woke up in this cell" said vanilla
" sorry that happen" said tails
" its okay anyway how is cream is she safe" said vanilla
" don't worry she is safe but she really misses you
vanilla looked down at the floor sadly
" so what are you doing here" said ray
" i'm here to rescue sonic he is in a cell on the first floor " said tails
" wait sonic is alive" said honey
" that's great" said mighty
" well that's the best news i heard all day" said the president.
" i always knew he was alive" said ray
" thank goodness" said vanilla
" good" said the GUN commander
tails then heard his phone ring he then answered it
" hello" said tails
" tails hows the mission going" said knuckles
" i'm on the 5th floor its a prison chamber fill with people who tried to rebel against robotnik" said tails
tails then turned on his phone camera and showed the resistance all the people in prison cell's
" oh my it appears many of are brethren are being held here" said espio
" that's one more thing robotnik will answer for" said silver
" anyway i'm on the 5th floor i'm halfway to the 1st floor i'm on my way there now" said tails
" but what about us " said ray
" He's right tails we can't just leave them" blaze said on the phone
" don't worry guys after i rescue sonic he and i will rescue everyone else " said tails
" well okay then it seems like you have everything covered" said knuckles
" good luck tails" said amy
" thanks" tails said as he hanged up the phone he then looked at the other prisoners.
"everyone may i have your attention please" said tails
all the prisoners looked at tails
" i promised that after i rescue sonic he and i will come back and rescue you all" said tails
" sonic is alive" said a male bird
" he's alive i knew it i knew it" said a female human
" that's great news " said a female fox
tails smiled and then looked at honey
" i will come back for you guys i promise" said tails
" we know you will tails" said honey
mighty , ray , vanilla, the president, and the GUN commander looked at tails and nodded
tails smiled and then he, orbot and cubot went up the stairs leading up to the 4th floor.
" so you really think he'll come back for us" said mighty
" of course he will" said honey
4TH FLOOR
tails , orbot and cubot saw tons a robots in the hallway.
tails then took out another explosive chao and then threw it out in the hallway
omochao came out of the box and started dancing getting the attention of the robots and they walked towards it
tails pulled out the red button and then pressed it making the robotic chao explode killing all the robots in the hall
"coast is clear lets go" said tails as he, orbot and cubot ran up the stairs heading to the 3rd floor
3RD FLOOR
the 3rd floor was the repair room where robots who got broken get repaired the only robot in there was a spider robot.
before the spider robot even noticed him tails jumped on its back and crushed its head with his foot
after that tails, orbot and cubot ran up the stairs that lead to the 2nd floor
2ND FLOOR
the 2nd floor was the room of escape pods luckily there were no robots there
" after we rescue sonic and the other's we can use these escape pods to get out of here" said tails
orbot and cubot nodded but then the fox and 2 robots heard a weird noise coming from the upper staircase
" uh what is that noise" said tails
" uh oh i know that noise" said cubot
" its infinite" said orbot
" w-what infinite you mean the guy who defeated sonic" said tails
" were afraid so" said cubot
the noise was getting louder
" we need hide quick into a escape pod" said orbot
tails, orbot, cubot ran to a escape pod they open it and close the door
infinite came down from the staircase he looked around the room and saw nothing he could've sworn he heard voices down here he shrugged and went down the lower staircase
tails, orbot and cubot got out of the escape pod
" phew that was a close one" said orbot
" you can say that again" said cubot
" alright guy lets head to the first floor
orbot and cubot nodded and then the fox and 2 robots ran up the final staircase leading up to the 1st floor
1ST FLOOR
tails , orbot and cubot finally made it to the 1st floor they looked around the room and saw eggman's office and a prison cell with a blue hedgehog in it.
" sonic " tails said as he ran up to the cell
" sonic" said tails
" so infinite came in her to gave me my daily beating huh sigh fine lets just get it over with " said sonic
tails gasped a little at the look of sonic condition he had bruises on his body and he looked extremely tired it saddened him seeing his friend like this.
" sonic its me tails" said tails
" wait what" sonic said as he got a better looked at the person in front of his cell .
" tails... is that you" said sonic
" yes sonic its me i'm here to rescue you" said tails
sonic couldn't believe it he was finally being rescued he smiled and tail smiled to
" but wait where's the rest of the gang are they alright " said sonic
" don't worry there fine but i just came because all of us coming would have made it easy to get caught" said tails
" well that's good to hear i was worried that they died of boredom from egghead's speeches about him and his empire" said sonic
" its good to see you haven't lost your sense of humor" said tails
sonic and tails laughed
" alright lets get you out of this cell" tails said he was about to press the button on the wall to free sonic but then felt a metal fist punch him sending him sliding on the floor.
" TAILS" sonic yelled
" sup tails long time no see" said a robotic voice
tails got up and gasped when he saw metal sonic
" so you think you can walk in here and free one of are prisoner that easily" said metal sonic
" metal sonic" tail said angrily
" there no point in fighting me because YOU are definitely no match for me " said metal sonic
tails tried to shoot metal sonic with his blaster but metal sonic extended his arm and grab the blaster from tails hand and crushed it.
"don't be stupid tails i once took out 50 GUN soilders tell you what i'll give you a chance unless you want to join sonic and his cell and be tortured on a daily basis i suggest leave now and i'll pretend i didn't see you " said metal sonic
tails clenched his fist" lets get something straight metal i came here to rescue sonic and i'm not leaving without him so unless you want to be turn into scrap metal i suggest you get out of my way"
" wow tough words lets see if you can live up to them" said metal sonic
" you can do it tails kick his ass" said sonic
tails and metal sonic glared at each other getting ready to fight
meanwhile on the other side of the room orbot and cubot were watching them
" so uh are we gonna help him" cubot asked orbot
" heck no metal sonic will kill us" said orbot
" good point" said cubot
metal sonic turn on his rocket boots and charged at tails. tails dodged his attack. metal sonic turn around and tried to charged into tails but when he was about to hit him tails grabbed his hand and threw metal sonic.
metal sonic crashed into the wall he was surprise by this but he shrugged it off and got back up.
metal sonic ran and jump and the air and put his foot out so he can kick tails but at the last minute tails grabbed metal sonic leg and swing him to the other side of the room
metal sonic turned on his rocket boots and he was now flying in the air he then shot tons several missiles at tails.
tails managed to dodged them all he then got a idea
metal sonic shot another missile at tails and right before it hit tails stepped out of the way of the missile he then grab it with his tails and swing back at metal sonic
metal sonic dodged the missile but it manage to hit to tip of his hand damaging his blaster
metal sonic then flew to tails so he could punch him tails dodged the attack and metal sonic fist hit the ground causing the ground to crack
metal sonic then charged at tails. tails dodged the attack and metal sonic caused the wall to crack
metal sonic turned on the blaster on his other hand he charged it up and was now shooting a laser at tails
tails was trying his best to dodge the laser he then saw a mirror on the wall. he came up with a idea he got in front of the mirror. metal sonic then shot another laser at tails and before it hit him tails got out of the way of the laser. the laser bounced right of the mirror and hit metal sonic on the chest
metal sonic hissed he looked down and notice a little smoke coming out of his chest.
" its about time i finish this " said metal sonic he then charged at tails
before tails had time to react metal sonic grabbed tails by neck tails tried to pry metal sonic hand of his neck but that only made metal sonic tighten his grip
metal sonic the put out his hand and taser electricity was coming out of it
" hope your not sensitive to electricity tails" said metal sonic
metal sonic was about to put his taser hand on tails but before he could tails grabbed his arm and with all of his strength tails put metal sonic's taser hand on his chest
metal sonic screamed as electricity flew through his body
tails then gave metal sonic a huge punch in the face causing his robot eye to crack
metal sonic was heavily damaged he tried to punch tails but tails grab his fist and ripped his arm off and pushed metal sonic to the ground
metal sonic looked up and saw tails above him
metal sonic smirked" hmph not bad tails but next time i won't go so easy on you "
metal sonic then short circuited and his eyes shut off
tails sighed in relief and wiped the sweat off his forehead he defeated metal sonic
" TAILS YOU DID IT " said sonic
" thanks sonic i couldn't have done it without your encouragement now lets get you out of that cell" said tails
tails pressed the button on the wall and the prison cell door opened.
sonic then gave tails a tight hug
" thanks for coming to rescue me buddy...i missed you" sonic said with a single tear going down his eye
" tails smiled and hugged him back with a few tears gong down his eyes
after 6 months he and his best friend were finally reunited.
" i hate to disturbed the heartwarming reunion but we should probably get out of here" said orbot
" wait orbot and cubot your helping me escape" said sonic
" we sure are" said cubot
" wow thanks" said sonic
" oh and orbot and cubot thanks for helping me take down metal sonic you guys really had my back during that fight" tails said sarcastically
" oh come on what could we have done we weren't built for combat" said orbot
" uh huh...anyway before we leave we have to rescue the other prisoners" said tails
" alright lets go get them " said sonic
sonic, tails, orbot and cubot left the room and started running to to the 5th floor. suddenly robotnik's office door swung open.
" whats the heck is going on in here" said robotnik
robotnik then notice the broken metal sonic
" w-what the heck metal sonic what happen to you" robotnik demanded
robotnik then noticed sonic's cell was empty
" WHERE DID SONIC GO" robotnik yelled. he then went back to his office and looked at the security cameras and saw sonic, tails, orbot and cubot running down the hallways
" orbot and cubot...grrr those those worthless backstabbing traitors" robotnik growled he then turn on his communicator and contacted infinite
" infinite" said robotnik
" yes doctor" said infinite
" Sonic has gotten out of his cell don't let him escape" said robotnik
5TH FLOOR
meanwhile back in the prion cell room honey, mighty, and ray were talking in their cell
" this prison cell sucks" said mighty
" oh come on mighty look on the bright side" said ray
" what bright side" said mighty
at least were in here together" said ray
" sure i guess your right about that" said mighty
" now that's the spirit" said ray
" mighty , ray look" said honey
mighty and ray looked up and saw sonic , tails, and orbot and cubot coming down the stairs
" hey everybody were back" said tails
the prisoners looked at tails once they saw sonic they all started clapping and cheering.
"SONIC" said a female dog
" YOU'RE ALIVE" said a male human
" I KNEW YOU WOULD'NT DIE THAT EASILY " said a male kangaroo
sonic smiled
" alright everyone save the applause for until after were all back on earth" said sonic
" see everyone i told you tails would come back for us" said honey
" i knew they would" said vanilla
" alright let get you guys out of here" said tails
tails was about to press the button that opens the cell doors until..
" GUYS LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU" said ray
sonic and tails turned around and were surprise to see infinite and 20 robots. then suddenly a screen appeared out of nowhere it turned on showing robotnik.
" no use fighting hedgehog your completely out numbered" said robotnik
" are we" tails said as he pressed the button on the wall and all the cell door's open.
all the prisoners cheered they were now free.
" so what was that about us being out numbered" said sonic
everyone glared at the robot and the robots knowing they were out numbered ran away scared
" hey where are you cowards going" said robotnik
" relax doctor i don't need those robots to take care of them" said infinite
infinite then used the power of the phantom ruby to make everyone in the room float
" what the heck" said mighty
" your rebelliousness is amusing but unless you want to die i suggest you get back in your cell's " said infinite
sonic manage to break free of infinite's control and did a homing attack on infinite sending him hitting the tv screen destroying it.
" its one thing hurting me but i will never let you hurt my friends" said sonic he than looked at tails " tails i will distract infinite you take everyone to the escape pods so they can get out of here" said sonic
" but sonic what about you" said tails
" don't worry i will be fine now go" said sonic
tails hesitated for a moment but then nodded
" everyone follow me to the escape pods" said tails
tails and the prisoners ran up the stairs to the 2nd floor
sonic then looked at infinite who got back up on his feet
" very well than hedgehog" said infinite
sonic glared at infinite and got into a fighting stance
infinite was about to charged into sonic but felt hands grabbing his arms
" what the " said infinite
sonic saw orbot and cubot restraining infinite by his arms
" sonic go" said cubot
" what about you guys" said sonic
" don't worry about us just get out of here, defeat robotnik, and save the world" said orbot
sonic nodded and ran upstairs
infinite threw orbot and cubot into the wall
" ow" said cubot
orbot and cubot looked up and saw infinite walking towards them. they looked at each other already knowing what was gonna happen.
" cubot its been an honor working by your side" said orbot
" same here buddy" said cubot
orbot and cubot hold each others hands and closed their eyes accepting their fate.
2ND FLOOR
sonic was running through the halls of the 2nd floor there were a few robots up ahead they noticed hi and started shooting at him sonic dodged all the laser and destroyed the robots with a homing attack he then continue running through the hall after a few more minutes of running through the hall he made it into the escape pod room once sonic got to the escape room he saw tails, honey, mighty, ray and the GUN commander fighting off 5 robots while the president , vanilla, and the prisoners were behind them
tails took out a blaster from his bag and shot down 2 robots
one of the robot tried to hit honey but she dodged it with a backward flip she then ran up to the robot and did a sharp kick on the robot's face destroying it
the gun commander took out a robot buy taking out his pistol and shooting several rounds at his chest
mighty and ray were fighting off the last robot it charged at ray and tried to punch him but ray did a sidestep causing the robot to miss him ray then grabbed the robots arm and threw it at mighty. mighty destroyed the robot by doing a spin dash attack on it
the prisoners cheered that they destroyed the robots
" excellent work" said the president
" thanks now hurry and get into the escape pods before more robots show up
everyone nodded and got into escape pods
sonic then waked into the room" hey guys great job taking out those robots" he said
" sonic you made it" said tails
" yeah you think i wouldn't" said sonic
sonic and tails saw honey, mighty, and ray walk toward the them
" thanks for rescuing us guys " said honey
" your welcome" said tails
" and don't worry were not gonna give up on trying to fight against robotnik" said mighty
" yeah were gonna try to destroy one of his factories again but this time with a more sneaky approach" said ray
" now that's what i like to hear " said sonic
" alright you guy should go now" said tails
" but wait what about you guys" said honey
" don't worry i came to the death egg with my tornado me and sonic will escape with that" said tails
honey, mighty, and ray nodded and then got into the a escape pod
the president and the GUN commander walk toward sonic and tails
" we appreciate the rescue" said the president
" your welcome" said sonic
" yes thank you for the rescue now if you excuse us i got to get back to earth and unite the remaining GUN soldiers" said the GUN commander.
the president and the GUN commander got into a escape pod.
vanilla walk towards sonic and tails
" thanks for keeping your promise and coming back for us tails" vanilla said as she then gave tails a kiss on the cheek.
tails blushed a little
" no problem" said tails
" don't worry vanilla i promise will find a way to defeat robotnik" said sonic
" just promise me that whatever happens you will keep my daughter safe" said vanilla
" we promise" said sonic
vanilla smiled and got into a escape pod
" alright everyone are in escape pods now launch them tails" said sonic
tails nodded and then pressed the button that was on the wall making all the escape pods launched
sonic and tails looked out the window and saw the escape pod's heading down to earth.
" alright time for us to get out here" said sonic
tails nodded
9TH FLOOR
sonic and tails were running down the hallways of the death egg a few robots got in there way but they took them out easily after a running down a few more floors they made it back to the 9th floor
" time to bail" said sonic
they were about to get in the tornado but then out of nowhere infinite appeared
sonic and tails gasped
" its about time you showed up" said infinite
sonic glared at infinite he jumped turn into his ball form and went to do a homing attack on infinite but infinite use the phantom ruby energy to make sonic freeze and float in the air he then threw sonic into a wall
" SONIC" tails shouted he then looked at infinite and glared at tails flew into the air and charged at infinite but as he was about to hit him infinite simply grab tails arm and then threw him into the wall right next to sonic
" tails are you okay" said sonic
" yeah i'm fine" tails said
sonic and tails looked up and saw infinite floating towards them
" don't worry sonic i won't kill you i'm just sending you back to your cell but for trying to escape there will be a serious punishment waiting for you and as for you fox...we have a special cell for you" said infinite
tails then got a idea
" anything you would like to say and your last minutes of freedom" said infinite
" yeah smoke bomb" said tails
" what?" said infinite
tails went into his bag and pulled out a smoke bomb he threw it near infinite and then exploded causing the entire area to be filled with smoke
" what" infinite said he couldn't see anything because of the smoke
" come on sonic now's are chance" said tails
sonic nodded they took the advantage and ran to the tornado
sonic and tails got into the tornado rocket.
" thank you espio for lending me some of your smoke bombs" said tails
tails then tuned it on and they flew out of the death egg
back in the landing area the smoke cleared and now infinite can see he noticed that sonic and tails were in there rocket and flew out of the death egg
infinite smirked " hmm there more clever then i thought...looking forward to our next encounter" he said
1ST FLOOR
In his office Dr robotnik was watching the security camera's that were from he outside and saw the tornado
Dr Robotnik tuned on his walkie talkie. " robots get into your ships and take that rocket down" said robotnik
OUTSIDE THE DEATH EGG
sonic and tails were flying in the tornado rocket when suddenly they saw a red laser fly right past them
" what was that" said tails
sonic turned around and gasp
" tails we got company" said sonic
tails looked in the mirror and saw 5 battle ships behind them
" uh oh" said tails
the battle ships started firing lasers at the tornado rocket. tails managed to dodged the attacks.
" were not gonna be able to out run them" said sonic
then one of the ships blasted the tornado rocket causing sonic to fall out
" SONIC" said tails
" whoa whoa whoa" said sonic as he was now floating in space he then saw the 5 battle ships flying towards him
they were all different colors blue, gold, red, black, and green
sonic then had a idea
sonic then jumped on to the red battle ship
" hey over here" said sonic he waving his arms getting the attention of the other battle ships
the blue battle ships notice sonic and shot a blaster at sonic sonic jumped off the battle ship and the blaster ended up destroying the red battle ship
sonic then jumped onto the black battle ship. the blue battle ship shot another blaster at sonic sonic jumped off the battle ship and the blaster destroyed the black battle ship
sonic then jumped onto the green battle ship. the blue battle ship shot yet another blaster at sonic sonic jumped off the battle ship and the blaster destroyed the green battle ship.
" ha too easy" said sonic
" SONIC" tails yelled
sonic saw the tornado rocket coming towards him sonic then dash to the rocket and manage to get back into his seat. tails then turned on the tornado"s machine guns and shot down the blue and gold battle ship
" great shooting tails" said sonic
" thanks good job on taking out those 3 ships" said tails
" thanks" said sonic
" now hang on tight i'm heading into earth's atmosphere" said tails
the tornado was now heading into earth
1ST FLOOR OF THE DEATH EGG
Dr Robotnik punched the wall in frustration he can't believe sonic escaped
" sigh i better tell infinite about this" said robotnik
5TH FLOOR OF THE DEATH EGG
Dr Robotnik walked down the stairs due to the elevator being broken he was walking through the prison hall he noticed 2 destroyed robots a red and yellow one but he didn't pay any mind to them
9TH FLOOR OF THE DEATH EGG
Dr Robotnik walked into the landing area and saw infinite
" infinite we got a problem sonic and all the other prisoners escaped" said robotnik
" it doesn't matter that they escaped when are project is complete they will be no match for us" said infinite
" yeah your'e right" said robotnik
10TH FLOOR OF THE DEATH EGG
after fixing the elevator robotnik and infinite went down to the 10th floor.
the 10th floor was huge lab and in there robots were building a huge laser cannon that looked similar to the eclipse cannon from the space colony ark.
robotnik looked at the unfinished cannon and grinned evilly.
" once this is finished i will be unstoppable HA HA HA HA HA " said robotnik
THE RESISTANCE HIDEOUT 6:55 PM
the resistance were thinking of ways on how they could defeat robotnik but stopped when they heard the door open.
" hey guys i'm back and look who's here" said tails
sonic walked in and everyone gasped
everyone couldn't believe what they were seeing it sonic...he..was...here...alive
amy slowly walked up to sonic
"s-s-s-s...sonic" amy said
" hey guys long time to see" said sonic
" SONIC" everyone yelled happily
" i knew they couldn't keep you down sonic welcome back" knuckles
" thanks good to see you" sonic said. he and knuckles then gave each other a fist bump

Hi Mr sonic i'm glad to see you again" cream said as she gave sonic a hug
" hey cream i i'm happy to see you to" sonic said as he hugged back
sonic then let go of cream and he saw silver and blaze walk up to him
" hey sonic its great to have you back" said said silver
" and its go to see you alive" said blaze
" hey silver, blaze its great to see you 2" said sonic. he then hugged both silver and blaze for a few seconds and then let go.
rouge then walked toward him. " its nice to have you back handsome" rouge said as she gave him a playful punch on the shoulder
sonic rubbed his shoulder and chuckled" good to see you to rouge" said sonic
rouge chuckled a little and then winked at him.
" hey hey sonic" said vector
" welcome back sonic" said charmy
" welcome back sonic its great to have you back" said espio
" hey guys good to see you" said sonic
vector , espio, and charmy then gave him a group hug and then let go after a few seconds.
Meanwhile Amy was a the corner of the room still stunned she couldn't believe it after 6 months of thinking that sonic was dead here he is safe and sound her eyes started to get watery and then she ran to sonic.
" SONIC " Amy yelled with tears going down her eyes
sonic noticed amy
" huh am-" sonic started
sonic was interrupted when amy gave him a bone crushing hug and started sobbing heavily into his chest.
" hey hey amy amy its okay i'm okay i'm back" said sonic
" y-you were gone for so long i t-thought you were d-dead... i-i missed you s-sonic so much " amy sobbed
sonic smiled and hugged amy back
" i missed you to amy" said sonic
" don't ever l-leave us again sonic y-you hear me n-never again " amy said while still crying
sonic took amy's head off his chest and then looked into her teary eyes
" don't worry amy i'll never will" said sonic with a sincere voice
" amy smiled and hugged sonic again and sonic hugged her back
the others smiled seeing the heartwarming reunion.
after a few more seconds amy let go
"okay i'm okay now" said amy
" good to hear" said sonic
sonic then looked at shadow
" hey shadow aren't you gonna greet me" said sonic
shadow walked up to sonic and since he not much of hug person he just patted sonic on the back
" good to have you back " said shadow
" oh come on shadow you can do better than that" said rouge
" what? " said shadow
" hug, hug, hug, hug, hug, hug "everyone chanted. shadow then looked at sonic who had his arms wide open.
shadow rolled his eyes " alright come here" said shadow
sonic and shadow hugged
" good to have you back sonic" said shadow
" thanks edgelord" said sonic
shadow chuckles softly
A FEW MINUTES LATER
to celebrate sonic's return the resistance had a huge dinner
" thanks guys i haven't had a good meal and the past 6 months" said sonic
" your welcome sonic" said amy
" so quick question were you and tails able to break free the other prisoners in the death egg " said knuckles
" yes we were that all got into escape pod's and there all safely back here on earth" said tails
" oh and cream we were able to rescue your mom" said sonic
" really that's great " cream said happily
sonic smiled
" so wait what happen to orbot and cubot" amy asked
" oh um...they got killed by infinite" said sonic
the gang was surprised by this news
" r-really" said amy
" yeah you know to be honest i always did sorta kinda like those 2 despite working for the doctor they always seemed like cool guys and they only worked for the doctor because they were force to" said sonic
" the mission to rescue you wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for them lets hope they rest in peace in robot heaven...if there is a robot heaven" said tails
everyone nodded in agreement
after finishing their meal everyone decided to call it a night and they all went to sleep.
while they still didn't know how they were gonna defeat Dr Robotnik what mattered right now is that sonic has returned to them.

SONIC HAS RETURNED TO THE RESISTANCE BUT DR ROBOTNIK IS STILL IN CONTROL SO IN THE NEXT CHAPTER THE GANG WILL TRY TO FIGURE OUT A PLAN TO DEFEAT ROBOTNIK.
NOW I WANT TO TELL YOU GUYS SOMETHING CHAPTER 2 AND CHAPTER 3 WERE ORIGINALLY GOING TO BE ONE WHOLE CHAPTER BUT I SPLIT IT INTO 2 CHAPTERS BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE TO LONG AND BOY WAS I RIGHT.
ONE MORE THING I LIKE TO SAY IS THAT MAKING THIS CHAPTER REALLY WORE ME OUT SO I THINK I'M GONNA TAKE A BREAK BEFORE I MAKE THE NEXT CHAPTER SO UNTIL THEN SEE YA.
