Chapter 5 Green Hill Zone
GREEN HILL 1:00 PM
The resistance is in their ship and they were now flying to green hill. after going to spagonia and reading one of professor pickle's manuscript they found out that the pink ruby on infinite's chest is called the phantom ruby and its the source to his power. and the only way to defeat a being with the power of the phantom ruby with a being that possesses the 7 chaos emeralds so with the chaos emerald sonic will be able to turn into super sonic and then he will be able to defeat infinite. so now the resistance are heading to green hill because the chaos emeralds are in sonic house that's there.
" were now approaching green hill" said tails
" good" said sonic. he and the others look out the window and were surprised to see that the clouds were starting to get dark.
" hey is it me or are the clouds getting darker" said amy
" um guys...you might want to check this out" said tails
" the gang went into the front room were tails was flying the ship they looked through the front window and were shocked at what they saw
green hill zone looked completely different
instead of being greeted to a bright sky and grass fields they were greeted with a dark red sky , tall black buildings, factories , destroyed houses, robots roaming around, and egg carriers flying
" what happened here" said knuckles
" i don't know but i bet dr robotnik has something to do with it" said silver
" tails land somewhere we won't be seen" said sonic
" got it " said tails
tails landed the ship by behind a large hill
the resistance got out of the ship and looked around the different looking green hill
" robotnik has ruined this place" said shadow
" this is green hill it barley looks recognizable" said blaze
" my home...its gone" said cream
" where are all the citizens" said rouge
" maybe robotnik captured them all" said silver
"don't worry guys the sooner we get those emeralds the sooner we can defeat robotnik and save this place" said knuckles
" so sonic where is your house" said amy
" its on the beach" said sonic
" but the beach is on the other side of this place how are gonna get past all of those robots" said tails
" will think of a way" said sonic
" guys look up in the sky" said knuckles
the gang looked up in the sky and saw a egg carrier above them with a spotlight
" oh no a egg carrier and it has a spotlight its gonna see us said vector
" we got to hide somewhere " said charmy
" guy look a cave" said espio. as he pointed towards the cave
" quick lets hide in there" said sonic
sonic and the gang ran into the cave

the resistance were inside a cave hiding from the egg carrier
sonic poke his head out of the entrance to the cave and saw the egg carrier fly away.
" alright its gone" said sonic
" we can't stay in here forever" said knuckles
" how are we supposed to get to sonic's house with this place being heavily guarded " said rouge
" were gonna have to think of a plan' said shadow
meanwhile charmy and cream were kicking small rocks inside the cave then charmy kicked a big grey rock but it felt kinda funny
" huh?" said charmy
" what is it charmy" said cream
" this rock feels funny " charmy. he then picked up the grey rock
" wow this rock is lighter then it looks hey wait a minute this is a fake rock" said charmy. he looked down and was surprised to see that something was under the rock
" hey guys check this out " said charmy
" what is it charmy" said sonic
" look whats under this fake rock " said charmy. he pointed to what was under the fake rock
it was big hole
" hey its a big hole" said tails
" i wonder how deep it is " said amy
" where does it go" said knuckles
charmy looked down in the hole it was pitch dark down there. he got onto his knees and try to see if he could see anything in the dark hole
then suddenly a rope came out from the hole and grabbed charmy and brought him down the hole
" CHARMY" said vector and espio
" come on lets go after him" said sonic
sonic and the gang jumped into the hole

after falling for awhile the resistance finally made it to the bottom of the hole they looked around and noticed they were inside a huge dark cave
" what is this place" said silver
" hey guys" said charmy
the resistance saw charmy who was tied up
then out of nowhere 3 figure emerged from the darkness the 1st one was a male blue fox, the 2nd one was a green female hedgehog and the 3rd one was a red male bird they all pulled out pistols and aimed them at the resistance
" whoa what the heck " said sonic
they were about to shoot but then they got a better look at the resistance
" guys hold your fire there not robots there animals like us" said the blue fox
the 3 animals put down their guns
" sorry about that we thought you were robots" said the male blue fox
" its cool" said sonic
" so who are you guys " said the green female hedgehog
" i'm sonic and were the resistance" said sonic
" wait..sonic as in sonic the hedgehog" said the red male bird
" wow its an honor to me you sonic" said the male blue fox
" thanks" said sonic
" so who are you guys" said tails
" oh sorry we forgot to introduced are selves i'm Tom..Tom Wachowski " said the male blue fox who is now revealed to be name Tom
" I'm maddie tom's girlfriend" said the green female hedgehog now revealed to be maddie
" and i'm wade" said said the red male bird now revealed to be wade
" well its nice to meet you all" said amy
"so um what are you guys doing down here" said knuckles
" this is are hideout" said maddie
" this dark place is your hideout" said blaze
" not just this area here follow us through this tunnel" said tom
" before we do anything else can one of you guy's untie me" said charmy
" sure thing little man" said wade. he then untied charmy
" thanks" said charmy

the resistance, tom, maddie, and wade were walking through the dark tunnel after walking for a while they saw a bright light at the end of the tunnel
" hey whats that bright light ahead" said sonic
" you'll see" said tom
they got to the end of the tunnel and once they got out of the tunnel the resistance were surprised at what they saw
they were in a huge underground hideout packed with tons of green hill citizens
" whoa" sonic and tails said
" welcome to our underground hideout" said tom
" wow these are alot of people" said amy
" are these all the green hill citizens" said silver
" most of them yes" said wade
" hey everyone were back and we got some new guys" said tom. the green hill citizens looked at tom and noticed sonic and the resistance
" oh my gosh sonic your alive" said a male hedgehog
the green hill citizens cheered seeing that sonic was alive
" well alright then lets show you guys around" said maddie
so tom, maddie, and wade show the resistance around the underground hideout
there were nursing care bed's for people who got injured by robots, there was a table of food and water, there were fire lamps everywhere so there would be light, there was a huge television to keep people entertain, and there were tunnels that lead to different area's in green hill.
" this place is impressive" said rouge
" thanks" said tom
" hey what are those mats over there for " said amy pointing to the mats
" oh over there i teach some of the green hill citizens yoga poses " said maddie
" yoga poses?" said blaze
" yeah i'm the owner of the green hills yoga training building im a yoga instructor some people even nicknamed me pretzel lady because of how flexible i am" said maddie
" pretzel lady that's a weird name" sonic thought to himself
" sonic, tails its good to see you guys again" said a voice
Sonic and tails turned around and saw honey, mighty, and ray
" honey, mighty, ray its good to see you guys again" said sonic
" you guys are here too" said tails
" yeah are escape pod landed here and we saw that were tons of robot factories here so we decided to destroy one of them " said honey
" and good new we manage to destroy one of them. we put some explosives inside the factory and whole thing went BOOM" said mighty
" after we destroyed it robots came after us luckily we were able to escape them and then we hid here" said ray
" good job guys" said knuckles
" thanks" said honey
" CREAM" a female voice yelled
cream felt 2 big arms wrapped around here. she looked up and saw here mom hugging her.
" m-m-mom" said cream
" c-c-cream i was s-so w-w-worried about you" vanilla sobbed
"M-mom" said cream, her eyes started to get watery and then she hugged her mom back tightly.
" are you hurt, do you have any broken bones or bruises or or or" said vanilla
" hey hey mom" said cream. she put her hands on vanilla's cheeks and gave her a smile
" i'm okay" cream whispered
vanilla smiled and cream smiled back they then gave each other another tight hug
" i missed you" said vanilla

we now cut to sonic and tom
' so um tom what exactly happened here" said sonic
" well when after dr robotnik took over he and his army came over to green hill and tried to wipe out citizens. he destroyed are town and he's planning on building a city of his own image over it" said tom
" well that explains all the buildings we saw outside " said blaze
" me, wade , and the other green hill police officer's tried to fight off robotnik's army...but we were no match for the guy in the mask" said tom
" infinite" said sonic
" infinite so that's his name" said wade
" wait you guys fought alongside with the police officers" said tails
" yeah me and tom are police officer's we work at green hill police department " said wade
" wow cool" said amy
" can you tel us what happened" said knuckles
" yes i can...i still remember that awful day 6 months ago" said tom
( FLASHBACK )
Dr Robotnik has just recently took over the world and now he and his army were now at green hill trying to wipe out the citizens there
above the city was a egg carrier robotnik was inside it watching everything on the cameras
" kill them all i don't want to see any of these rodent's in the new city i'm building over here" said robotnik
robots were shooting at the green hill citizens. the citizens were running away from and trying to find somewhere to hide. but some of them got shot and killed
meanwhile the green hill police officers were trying to fight off the robots.
" tom what are we gonna do" maddie said with a scared voice
" don't worry will take care of these guys now go hide" said tom
maddie nodded and ran off to hide somewhere
tom then heard static from his walkie talkie he pulled it up to his ear
" this is wade to doughnut lord we need you over at residential block to help us fight off some robots" said wade
" wade what have i told you about calling me that" said tom
" hey me and the other officer's wouldn't be calling you that if you just lay off the doughnuts" said wade
" wade" said tom
" alright fine sorry look we just need you get over at residential block to help us" said wade
" alright i'm on my way" said tom

tom , wade and the other police officer were fighting off the robots they manage to defeat all the robots in their area but things turned for the worse when infinite arrived in front of them
the police force took their guns and shot rapidly at infinite but their bullets just bounced right off him
" all too easy " said infinite he then shot a laser at the police force killing most of them
" NO" tom yelled. he looked up and saw infinite coming towards him he shoots several bullets at infinite but they didn't do anything he eventually ran out of bullets
infinite chuckled softly. he then use the phantom ruby energy to make tom float he then simply threw tom into a wall
tom groaned in pain he then saw wade running to him
" tom you okay" said wade
" yeah i'm fine" said tom.
tom and wade saw infinite floating towards them
" come on tom we need to get out of here and find somewhere to hide" said wade
tom nodded and he and wade ran away while he was running he could hear infinite laughing evilly
( FLASHBACK OVER )
the resistance were stunned at what they heard
" my partners...my friends...their all dead" Tom said sadly
" tom i'm sorry this is all my fault if i was just able to defeat infinite before this wouldn't have happen " said sonic
" sonic don't blame yourself" said tom
" yeah this isn't your fault none of us can beat him" said tails
" he's right sonic its not your fault" said amy
sonic smiled
" after we ran away from infinite me and tom manage to find this underground cave so we rally up the surviving citizens and hid them here so we could hide from robotnik and infinite" said wade
" don't worry once we get the chaos emeralds will be able to defeat infinite said silver
" what do you mean " said wade
" we figured out a way to defeat robotnik and infinite but to do that we need the chaos emeralds but their at sonic house at the beach do you know a way to get there without getting caught by robots" said knuckles
" without getting caught huh well what do you think tom " maddie asked tom
"...well i don't know about not getting caught because there a huge egg carrier that floating around the city and it has a large spotlight " said tom
" yeah we know we saw it earlier" said silver
" we had to hide in a cave to hide from it" said blaze
" yeah well that egg carrier is the eye in the sky it watches all of green hill it can see everything if any of us go out there that egg carrier will see you and alarm tones of robots to go after you . with that thing in the sky you won't be able to make it to the beach" said wade
" so what do we do" said shadow
" well i don't know exactly how are you gonna do it but i think the only way your gonna get to the beach is to get rid of that egg carrier" said tom
" i see...will think of something" said knuckles
" so how exactly do we get out of this cave" said amy
" through that tunnel right there" said maddie. she pointed to the tunnel up ahead
" well we wish you guys luck we come and help you guys but me and wade need to stay here and keep the citizens safe and make sure no robots get in" said tom
" you gave us all the help we needed thanks tom" said sonic
honey, mighty, and ray walked up to sonic
" here take this" said honey she gave sonic a walkie talkie
" if you ever need are help give us a call on this walkie talkie" said mighty
" and will right there to do some robot butt kicking" said ray
" thanks guys" said sonic
we now cut to cream and here mom
" i should go with them" said cream
" no cream its to dangerous " said vanilla
" mom please there gonna need me" said cream
" i know but...i don't want you to get hurt" said vanilla
" don't worry i won't i'll be fine please trust me" said cream
vanilla thought about it for a moment and then nodded
" okay but please promise me you'll stay safe" said vanilla
" i promise" said cream.
cream gave her mother one last hug and then ran to the resistance
" alright gang lets move out" said sonic
the resistance walked into the tunnel tom, maddie, wade, honey, mighty, ray, vanilla, and the green hill citizens waved bye to them

the resistance were walking through the tunnel they stopped when they saw a ladder
" i guess were going up" said espio
sonic and the gang all went up the ladder they saw a bright light ahead they got to the top and got out the hole. they looked around and noticed there on top of a tall hill they looked around and they see all of green hill from this height
" wow what a view " said rouge
" we can see all of green hill from here" said vector
the resistance looked at the ruined island once a place filled with grassy fields, nice town, fresh air, and a bright blue sky. now filled with robots, dead plants and grass, black buildings, and a dark red sky
" wow...robotnik really messed this place up" said amy
" i know its terrible" said tails
cream looked at the island of green hill with a sad look saddened of what became of her home
sonic notice the sad look on cream's face and put his hand on her shoulder" don't worry cream once we defeat robotnik and infinite will fix this place" he said
cream smiled
" hey guys look there"s that egg carrier" said silver
the gang saw the egg carrier floating above robotnik's unfinished city and its spotlight
knuckles took out his binoculars and looked at the egg carrier it was shining its spotlight around the unfinished city
" alright gang to get to the beach we need to sneak past the robots down there but were not gonna be able to to to do that with that egg carrier shining its spotlight around that area so were gonna need to take it out " said knuckles
" so how are we gonna do that exactly" said espio
the gang were thinking until
" hey guys i have a idea" said tails
" what is it tails" said sonic
" you'll see be right back" said tails he then started flying and he flew away
" w-wait tails were are you going" said sonic
but tails was to far away to him
" lets hope that egg carrier doesn't sees him" said amy

the gang were waiting for tails to return and eventually he did
" tails were did you go" said sonic
" back to our ship" said tails
" the ship" said sonic
" yep to get this" said tails. he then took out a robot chao
" a chao? " said shadow
" hey tails i didn't you had a chao of your own" said cream
" uh tails why did you bring that here" said silver
" its gonna help us take care of that egg carrier" said tails
everyone was confused
" hey wait a minute that robot chao is that a-" sonic said
" yep" said tails
sonic smirked " ah i see what your doing" he said
" what are you 2 talking about tails how is a robot chao gonna help us deal with that egg carrier" blaze asked
" you'll see" said tails he then looked at the robot chao" alright omochao you remember the plan" he said
" yep i got it all under control" said omochao
" alright get going" said tails
omochao turned on the small jet pack that was on his back and then flew to the egg carrier
" wait what is it doing why is it going toward the egg carrier " knuckles asked
" you'll see" said tails

omochao was approaching the egg carrier he went behind the ship it had 3 large engines on the back omochao flew to the engines and landed on the left engine while avoiding getting caught in the engine's blue flames once he landed he turned on his laser eyes and and used his laser eyes to make melt a hole into the engine that was big enough for him to fit in he got into the hole and then took one last look at the egg carrier" bye bye" he said he then took out a small red button and pressed it
he then exploded
BACK WITH THE RESISTANCE
back at the hill where the resistance were the gang was surprised to see the left engine of the egg carrier explode and then the ship crashed landed into the unfinished city and destroying a few buildings
" what the heck what happen " said knuckles
" wait did that robot chao did that" rouge asked
" yep it was a explosive chao" said tails
" works everytime" said sonic
" wait so that cute little robot chao is dead" cream asked
" yeah but don't worry i can always rebuild him" said tails
" hey guys come look at this" said amy
the gang looked down at the city and noticed the wreck of the ship they saw the tons of robots around it
" there distracted now's are chance guys lets get down there and sneak past them so we can get to the beach" said knuckles
" well what what are we waiting for lets go" said sonic

in the unfinished city robots looked at the now destroyed ship they saw it crash land so they all went to investigate
" what do you think happen" said a robot
" i don't know" said another robot
right behind the robots the resistance were sneaking right past them

the resistance spent next few minutes sneaking past robots a few noticed them but they took them out without any issue after a few more minutes of sneaking past and destroying robots they finally made it to green hill beach
the resistance were happy that they finally made it to the beach
" hey mr sonic isn't that your house right there
the gang saw sonic's house
" yes that's it" said sonic
" alright we made it" said tails
" lets get those emeralds" said amy
the resistance walked up to sonic's house they looked at the house and noticed the house was kinda old
" hmm not really that impressive looking" said shadow
" i know the thing is i live in my apartment at station square i mostly use my houses at here and soleanna as vacation homes while i travel" said sonic
sonic and gang went into the house once they got in they looked around inside they saw a tv, chair, kitchen, bathroom, and a chest.
" so sonic do you remember where those emeralds are" said knuckles
" hmm let me see" said sonic, he walked to the chest opened it and inside it was a blue bag with stuff in it"
" yes right where i left it" said sonic. he grab the blue bag and showed everyone what was inside of it
it was the chaos emeralds
" sweet" tails said excitedly
" well that was easy" said knuckles
sonic smiled
" alright now i just gotta turn into my super form fly to the death egg and defeat infinite" said sonic
BOOM
a laser shot sonic's house causing the entire house to explode with the resistance in it
the smoked cleared showing the resistance lying down on the ground each them manage to get back on their feet.
" what the heck was that" said knuckles
" that would be from me of course" said a voice
the resistance turned around and all of them were surprised to see dr robotnik in his eggmobile alongside him was infinite and and 50 robots.
" ah sonic nice to see you again" said robotnik
" robotnik" sonic said angrily
" i heard you were coming here to retrieve the chaos emeralds so i decided to drop by " said robotnik
" how did you know we were looking for the emeralds" said amy
" wouldn't you like to know" said robotnik
" your wasting your time the chaos emerlads are no match for the power of the phantom ruby" said infinite. he then unleashed a wave of energy knocking back the resistance
" whoa you guys okay" said sonic
" yeah were fine" said blaze
" you might as well stop trying its pointless to fight back " said infinite
" does anyone but you believe your lies" said silver
the resistance got back up and glared at infinite they then all got into fighting stances
infinite laugh softly
" this should be fun" said infinite
" stand down infinite i think we should let him handle them" said robotnik
" him ? " said said vector
Dr Robotnik snapped his fingers and then suddenly the ground started shaking
" hey what going on" said charmy
" look behind you" said robotnik
the resistance turned around and were suprised to see a giant robot it resembled the death egg robot except it was much bigger it was the size of a apartment building and its body was black and the head was white and instead of having robotink's face on it had one red eye.
" whoa thats a big robot" said rouge
" impressive isn't it i call it death egg robot sentinel i created it to handle a large threats i now have one and every city around the world" said robotnik
" ATTACK" robotnik yelled
the death egg robot sential shot down its hand at the resistance. sonic and the gang dodged the attack.
" run " said sonic
the resistance ran away the giant robot gave chase and shooting lasers from his eye at them
the resistance ran into unfinished city there were some robots in there they notice the resistance and before they could attack sonic, shadow, and silver destroyed them.
the gang turned around and saw the death egg robot sentinel ganging on them
" wow that thing is fast" said blaze
the death egg robot sentinel shot a laser on the ground causing the path in front of the resistance to catch on fire blocking the path
" oh no" said knuckles
the resistance were now cornered by the giant robot
" that's it enough running you want a fight bring it on" said sonic
" yeah sonic's right " said tails
" lets kick his metal butt" said amy
sonic and the gang got into fighting stances ready to fight off the giant robot
the death egg robot sentinel shot it arm at the resistance again but missed it accidentally got its arms stuck in the ground
sonic, tails, amy, and knuckles took the advantage and went to attack its hand
tails hit the hand with his tail . amy hit it with her hammer . knuckles hit the hand with his fist. and finally sonic did a spin dash on the hand causing its hand to break off
the giant robot was surprised to see that its hand came off electricity was sparkling out of its arm
" all right that what i'm talking about" said sonic
The death egg robot sentinel shot missiles at the resistance . silver used his telekinesis to freeze the missiles and sent them back at the robot
" CHAOS SPHERE" shadow yelled. he threw chaos spheres at the giant robot they only manage to put a few dents on the robot
the death egg robot sentinel tried to stomp on blaze with his foot . blaze dodge its foot and shot fireballs at its head burning it only a little while rouge put a dent on its leg
the death egg robot sentinel shot some lasers at vector, espio, charmy, and cream they dodge the attacks and then took out their blasters and shoot at the robot.
" dang it are attacks are doing only minor damage to this robot" said silver
" how are we gonna defeat it" said cream
" wait let try something" said tails. he took out his miles electric and scanned the robot
" guys i just scan the robot the power source of this robot is in the eye we have to destroy the eye" said tails
" leave it me " said sonic he ran to the death egg robot sentinel it shot it other arm down at sonic but sonic dodged the attack he then jumped on to its arm and ran up to its shoulder. sonic then jumped high it the air and then did a big homing attack on the robots eye destroying it
sonic landed back on the ground and saw the eye on the death egg robot sentinel cracked and the robot was shaking violently and then its head exploded and then its body fell to the ground while crushing a few buildings
" yeah we did it" said sonic
tails and amy gave each other a high five
" well that wasn't to bad" said knuckles
the resistance were glad they were able to defeat the the death egg robot sentinel they then saw Dr Robotnik and infinite
" its that all you got robotnik" said sonic
" okay i'll admit i'm a little disappointed that the death egg robot sentinel wasn't able to defeat you but on the bright side he was able to distract you guy's while i grabbed the chaos emeralds" said robotnik
" what?" said sonic
" robotink showed the bag with the chaos emeralds in it
it was in his hands
sonic and the gang were shocked
" oh no " said tails
" good bye" said robotnik . he and infinite then flew away
" NO" sonic yelled he then ran after robotnik and infinite
" sonic wait" said amy she was gonna go follow him but then suddenly hundreds of robots surrounded the resistance
" dang it were gonna have to fight these guys off" said shadow
" hey you guys need some help" said a voice
the resistance turned around and saw honey, mighty, ray, tom, and wade
" what are you doing here" said tails
" we thought you guys could use are help" said honey
the robots aim their blasters . the resistance , honey mighty, ray, tom, and wade, glared at them as they prepared to fight them off

sonic was chasing after Robotnik and infinite he had to to get does chaos emeralds back
sonic saw robotnik and infinite getting into a egg carrier
" your not getting away" sonic growled. he ran to the ship he manage to jump on top of the ship just before it launched
the ship rose from the ground and flew into space sonic did his best not to fall off
OUTER SPACE 3:30 PM
the egg carrier was flying in space inside the control room was dr robotnik he looked at the bag of chaos emerlads and grinned evilly
" well that was easier than i expected" said robotnik
" are you sure about that" said sonic
robotnik turned around and saw sonic
" s-sonic how did you get in her" said robotnik
" i manage to get on the ship at last minute NOW GIVE ME THOSE EMERALDS" sonic said. he went to attack robotnik but got punched by infinite
sonic recovered from the blow and he tried to do a homing attack on infinite but infinite dodged the attack and then use the phantom ruby power to make sonic float then suddenly a red aura appeared around sonic and he could not move
" i cant move what did you" said sonic
dr robotnik looked at sonic and smiled evilly
" i'm sorry sonic but i'm afraid you won't be getting these emeralds " said robotnik.
robotniik then open a window
" w-wait what are you doing" said sonic
" just making sure you never find these emeralds " said robotik
and then to sonic's horror robotnik threw the bag of emeralds out of the ship
" NO" sonic yelled. he looked out of the window and saw the chaos emeralds come out of the bag. he saw each emeralds separate from each other and all of them landed in different parts of the earth
the chaos emerald were now scattered all over the earth
" NO " sonic yelled
" good luck finding those emeralds now. so long rodent" dr robotnik
infinite grabbed sonic by the neck and then teleported outside the ship
" goodbye hedgehog" said infinite. he then threw sonic
sonic screamed as he fell back down to earth
GREEN HILL 3:50 PM
the resistance, honey, mighty, ray, tom, wade were fighting off robots but they were really out numbered
" we can't fight off these guys forever" said ray
" well what choice do we have" said mighty
the gang then heard a loud screamed they looked up in the sky to see sonic falling
" sonic" said amy
" WHOA GET BACK EVERYONE " said knuckles
everyone got out of the way
sonic crashed into the ground the impact caused a huge shock wave that destroyed all the robots in the area
when the smoke cleared the resistance saw sonic on the ground unconscious
" SONIC" tails and amy yelled
the resistance turned around saw dozen of robots approaching them
" we got out here now " said knuckles
" but what about these robots" said charmy
" well take care of them " said honey
" yeah don't worry we got this" said mighty he and tom then shot a few robots
" come on get some you pieces of scrap metal" said tom. he, honey, mighty ray, wade ran away the robots chased after them
" yeah come and get some" said wade
" this is awesome" said ray" he was shooting bullets in the air while laughing like a maniac. mighty and honey gave him a nervous look
the resistance saw honey, mighty, ray, tom, and wade run away into the distance while the robots chased after them
" alright seriously we need to get out of here before more robots show up" shadow
the resistance nodded vector grabbed the unconscious sonic and all of then ran to the ship
from the distance 50 robots notice them and chased after them
A FEW MINUTES LATER
the resistance got back to their ship they were running away from robots they all manage to dodge their blasters and got into the ship
the ship rose up from the ground robots blasted the ship but their attacks did nothing. the ship then and flew into the sky
THE RESISTANCE HIDEOUT 5:00 PM
the resistance were now back at there hideout
" well that mission was failure" said knuckles
" you can say that again" said rouge
knuckles looked at tails and amy they were looking at sonic who was still unconscious and was lying on a bed
" knuckles is he gonna be alright" said tails
" don't worry guys when we got back we check him out he'll be fine" said knuckles
" i sure hope so " said amy
meanwhile cream was video chatting with her mother on a computer
" sorry i didn't get to say buy mom" said cream
" don't worry sweetie its okay i'm just glad to see your safe " said vanilla
" hey good to see that you guys's are fine" said tom
tails, amy, and knuckles, were surprised to see honey, mighty, way , tom wade, and maddie on the computer
" honey, mighty, ray ,tom, wade you guys are made it back to the hideout" said tails
" yeah we manage to outrun the robots and got back to the underground hideout " said wade
" it wasn't easy though we had to fight them off with are bare hands because a certain someone used up the last of his bullets" said honey as she glared at ray
" yeah me , honey, tom, and wade's guns were all out of bullets ray was the only one who had bullets in his gun but he ran out while he was shooting them in the air" said mighty
" sorry i was in the moment" said ray
" uh- huh" honey said in a unamused tone
" you should've known better then to give ray a gun" said mighty
" well were just glad to see you got back to your hideout safely anyway we got to go you guys be careful" said knuckles
" bye" said maddie, honey, mighty, ray , tom, and wade
" stay safe" said vanilla
the computer shut off
meanwhile sonic's eyes open and he got from the bed he looked around and notice they were back at the hideout
" um guys" said sonic
the gang turned around and were surprised to see sonic awake
" sonic" said tails, and amy
the gang ran up to sonic
" are you okay" said tails
" anything broken" said amy
" don't worry guys i'm fine" said sonic
" well that"s good to hear " said knuckles
" so what happen why are we back at the hideoout" said sonic
" well back at green hill we saw you falling from the sky when you crashed to the ground you fell unconscious" said blaze
" and then tons of robots showed up so we had no choice but to flee" said espio
sonic then remembered everything about what happened on dr robotnik's ship and what he did to the chaos emeralds
" sonic what's wrong" said amy
" well " sonic started

sonic explain on what happened to the chaos emeralds . the gang was shocked
" so wait he threw the chaos emeralds out of his ship" said silver
" and each emerald landed in different areas around the earth" said blaze
" yeah the chaos emeralds are now scattered around the earth they could be anywhere" said sonic
the resistance were silent
those...emeralds were are only chance of defeating robotnik " said tails
" and infinite" said amy
knuckles sighed
shadow didn't say anything and just stared at the floor
" aw man " said rouge
" were not gonna be able to defeat the eggman empire" said silver
cream's eyes started to get watery. blaze comforted her
" what do we do now vector" said charmy
" i don't charmy...i don't know" said vector
espio didn't say anything
the resistance remain silent knowing that they now had no chance to defeat the eggman empire

the resistance looked at sonic
" i won't give up we will defeat robotnik and infinite " said sonic
" but how the only way to defeat a being with the phantom ruby is with the chaos emeralds and there now scattered all over the earth they could be anywhere" said blaze
" then will look for them i don't care how long it takes we will find those emeralds and defeat robotnik and his army" said sonic
the resistance were inspired by sonic's words
" sonic right i'm not giving up" said tails
" me neither" said amy
" neither am i" said knuckles
all of the resistance smiled
" so what do you say everybody are we gonna find all 7 chaos emeralds so we can defeat robotnik, infinite, and the eggman empire" said sonic
" YEAH" everybody shouted
" yeah now that's what i like to hear" said sonic
" alright everybody before we do any emerald hunting we should probably get some rest for the night we had a long day" said knuckles
" yeah your right about that" said sonic
so the resistance went to sleep for the night as hopeless the situation may seem they were not gonna give up on defeating the eggman empire
