I want to thank "clockright" for we are collaborated on many ideas for this story.

I thank everyone for their patients while I get the rewrite of Kimiko-Chan under way. Now that it's done I find myself in the bud of a new adventure that may take up some of my time. However, I will not abandon my stories.

This chapter will introduce a new OC clockright and I just cooked up. I hope you like her.

Kaiko voice now echoed the loneliness in her heart, "My father is the Fourth Hokage. While I am very proud of him he spends about 16 hours a day at the Hokage office. There's times he has to spend days away from the house doing Hokage stuff. I hardly ever see him. Mom is almost as bad being the wife of the Hokage. When I become a ninja I have to be the best or I will make him look bad. I pulled those pranks because when he punished me is about the only time I got to see them. Now you effectively took that away from me."

She said while looking into Shikamaru's eyes with tear-filled eyes. Shikamaru had no idea her life was so tough and now he felt worse for what he done to her. He silently vowed to spend the rest of his life making it up to her and making sure her days are filled with fun. For now he gave her a reassuring hug as she cried in his arms. This day their relationship changed for the rest of their lives.

When her tears began to subside, Kaiko stayed in Shikamaru's embrace listening to the thrumming of his heartbeat. When she finally pulled back from the embrace, Shikamaru saw her tear streaked face, which made her look even more beautiful. He cupped her chin while pulling her face closer to his. Kaiko knew he wanted to kiss her. To her horror, she was both frightened and excited by this prospect.

Just as their mouths were about to meet her cell phone started to ring with her father's ringtone meaning he was calling her. "I better get that!" declared Kaiko who was both relieved and disappointed.

Shikamaru got red faced and pulled away. He could not accept what he was about to do. He was about to kiss Naruto … well now Kaiko. Just a week ago she was a guy and this week he was about to kiss her and after he participated in the worst night of her life. Yet something about her screams for him to protect and worship. 'Ugg, I need to get a grip,' he thought frantically.

Shikamaru's thought process was interrupted by Kaiko's half of the phone conversation she had with her father, "Hello Dad? … Yeah but I really wanted to see you. (Sounding anxious) … Father you once told me you will be willing to listen when I am ready well I am ready now."

At this point, there is a brief pause in the conversation and then, "Dad you sent Mom on a mission and you know I can't cook anything besides instant Ramen."

Shikamaru somewhat understood Minato suggested he come home for dinner so he hurriedly got Kaiko's attention, "I know how to cook some basic dishes that are not Ramen, Kaiko."

Kaiko looks directly into Shikamaru's eyes while saying, "Dad, do you mind if Shikamaru joins us? He is right here and he says he can help cook. … Thanks Dad. Love you! Bye!"

About forty-five minutes later, Kaiko found herself in an apron thinly cutting a partially frozen sirloin tip for Sukiyaki. Shikamaru was busy preparing the vegetables. Kaiko could not bring herself to look at him for a couple of reasons.

One was that he had her wearing an apron and another was that he flat out refused to cook ramen. Instead, they were preparing to cook Sukiyaki. Sure, it was her father's favorite but he got used to ramen.

The other reason was he almost kissed her before. She was literally saved by the bell or the ring of her cell phone. However, what bothered her most was she felt disappointed by the interruption. With Shikamaru, she felt safe and secure unlike the time in the hotel room with Kiba. Another part of her was frightened by her new emerging feelings. That portion was her last remaining male part of herself.

Suddenly she heard her father, Minato say, "I'm home. Anyone here?"

"In the kitchen, Dad. Why don't you change and go out to the garden. I will bring you out some tea."

"Sounds like a good plan," replied Minato.

Once Minato left for his room, Kaiko turned towards Shikamaru for the first time, "Shika?"

Shikamaru knew that Kaiko wanted to speak to her father in private but did not wish to abandon him with the work of dinner prep. "Troublesome, the work is almost done. Go and take your father some tea and have a good chat with him. I will finish up."

What Kaiko did next made Shikamaru blush and almost forget what he was doing. She kissed his check.

"Thank You Shika," she said as she scampered off to her room to change into a kimono. She was on a high as she changed for she put Shika in his place. Recently she got used to wearing a Kimono while sipping tea with her Father. She found it relaxing and hoped it would be a good setting for the talk.

Today was especially important so she took the time to make sure she was dressed properly and done her hair up as well. She had not even prepared the tea yet so she worried she might be keeping her father waiting, however when she got to the kitchen she saw that Shikamaru had even prepared the tea as well. Kaiko looked at him questionably.

"Troublesome woman. I knew you would take extra time making yourself look beautiful so I went ahead and prepared the tea so you won't keep your father waiting," said a red-faced Shikamaru.

After gathering up the tea on a platter, Kaiko made her way thru the garden to the spot where she was sure her father was. Hidden among Cherry Blossoms trees was a clearing next to a Koi pond. Sure enough here father was there sitting on carefully placed mats. Kaiko liked this area too for it was so Zen almost like the waterfall her mother loves so much.

After sitting down herself, she hands her father a cup of tea. "Father, I appreciate you making time to come home like you did. I really missed you."

He carefully gauged her before he spoke, "Your Mother mentioned to me you seem depressed today and you came home early from school. We were surprised you chosen to go back so early however we were even more concerned you came home early."

Kaiko looked at her Father questionably, "I thought the Anbu would have told you by now what happened?"

"They did but they could not tell me how you felt even though we could guess. I am sorry I had to send Kushina on that mission as I did. Her assistance in this mission was critical and unavoidable. If there was any other option I would have her here as well."

Kaiko looked at the pond sadly, "I've accepted such things a long time ago as well as not knowing what is happening on those missions. I have not called you here to discuss that though Daddy." Kaiko paused as she gathered strength to continue. "Before Saturday night, back when Shikamaru and the others were setting me up of for the Prank, I knew what they were doing. I was the original prankster of our generation. I dare say that none could pull off a prank like I could save Mother. She is the only one that I have not been able to surpass. I knew they were setting me up for a prank. I could have very easily avoided it."

Minato was flabbergasted with this revelation. She knew about the Prank ahead of time yet she allowed it to happen.

"I can tell you are curious as to why I allowed things to progress the way they did. Well I felt I owed Kiba for the very harsh Prank I pulled on him and Akamaru. You be interested to know that was the very last prank I have ever pulled. I can still hear Akamaru painful cries as he tried to work himself free." Kaiko was in tears at this point. None noticed when Tora came over and curled herself into Kaiko lap. "I knew then pranks can hurt and vowed never to pull one ever again. However, I needed to make it up to Kiba somehow so I developed a plan when Shikamaru started to set his pranks up. The conditions were I had to choose which one I would have sex with. I chosen Kiba so I could apologize the only way I could. You see Shikamaru was correct about one thing. Every guy in school thought my sexy jutsu was their idea of a wet dream. My plan was to tell Kiba after we started that I knew about the Prank but will gladly go ahead as an apology to what I did to Akamaru. … You heard me correct Father. Your son was going to have sex as a woman as an apology to another man. Anyway it never got to that point as you are quite aware of."

Kaiko paused again this time to gather courage to finish the tale. "I did say stop so I could tell him. However, he sensed what I was going to do. I saw it in his eyes. He must have seen it in my eyes. The next thing I knew he was hitting me with everything he had. At that point, I wanted to stop and get away from that jerk. He kept on hitting me until I submitted to his will. What I wanted had nothing to do with it. He did not wish to hear my apology nor wanted me to be willing to do it with him that night. He made it perfectly clear. I was his toy to abuse and discard not a willing partner. There was nothing warm about him and he was definitely not the friend I took the time to foster for years. He made me feel like a maggot, like I was nothing but dirt that night. I remember wishing I were dead in the alleyway before Shikamaru woke up. Then this gorgeous creature came around the corner."

Kaiko paused and gestured to Tora the cat. "I thought she was going to attack me and I prepared myself not to defend myself. Hehe hoping for death by vicious cat."

Both Minato and Kaiko giggled at that thought.

"Then something Miraculous happened. Tora did not attack but comforted me. She made me feel worth something. She gave me the courage to survive long enough for Shikamaru to wake up and help me through the rest. I thought I could handle things on my own and I was just fine to go back to school today. However, the trauma I suffered Saturday left some lingering after effects and I need help dealing with them. That is the main reason what happened today happened. I was not emotionally capable to handle what happened."

Minato was overjoyed at this part so he spoke for the first time since she started her painful recollections. "You could see Inoichi. He has been very helpful in treating many Shinobi emotional scares."

Kaiko started to laugh hysterically. "I can't do that Dad. He is my boyfriend's father," she said quickly without thinking.

Minato sat back a little with a bemused look on his face. "Kaiko, Inoichi does have any sons. As you know he is the father of Ino, a girl and fellow classmate of yours. Could you have mistaken Inoichi with Shikaku, the father of one Shikamaru Nara?"

Kaiko got very red-faced knowing what she had said and clamed up. 'Where did that come from?' thought Kaiko. Minato was thinking about teleporting a certain young man to places unknown.

At the dinner table, the atmosphere was somewhat strained and silent. Shikamaru noticed Minato would sometimes give him an icey glare. "Did I do something wrong?" asked a worried young man.

Minato jumped at this. "What are your attentions towards Kaiko? I can teleport you to parts unknown you know." he asked will clenching his teeth.

Kaiko jumped, "Daddy! Don't you dare say another word!" Minato backed down leaving Kaiko surprised for he never would back down for Naruto.

Shikamaru looked between the two and guessed what just transpired. "Troublesome," he breathed under his breath. No one spoke another word for the rest of the evening, which was a first for the Namikaze house.

Kaiko was in the kitchen the next day eating some brunch when an Anbu suddenly appeared in front of her. They usually a lot more polite than that so something must be up. "Why are you here?"

"I have a message from your father, the Hokage. You are to come immediately to his office in the Hokage Tower and be sure to bring Tora with you."

Tora the cat perked up at the mention of her name. "Tora!? Why?"

"I can't divulge that information. All will be explained once you get to your father's office."

Everything was so mysterious it intrigued the young blonde-haired woman. Tora on the other hand was nor as intrigued. Suddenly her other personality showed up which was not lost on Kaiko. "Tora, I now have a feeling why you are so angry. You think it's your master coming to take you back. It just may be but something else is happening as well. She had been to the mansion before. If she were in Konoha she would have simply came directly to the mansion to collect you. Instead we both are being summoned the Hokage Tower."

As the pair walked silently down the streets of Konoha towards the Hokage Kaiko was replaying the events of the previous evening over her head. Her father backed down much the same way he does when her Mom berates him. He never did that for her before. Then another thing he remembered how protective he has been of her since Sunday when he discovered she was locked forever as a girl. She wondered if she now had some strange new power over her father.

Once they got to the Hokage Tower, Tora's ears perked up before she joyfully up the stairs. For as long as Kaiko known Tora she never knew her to act like this except for one instance. Then she knew what waited for her up in her father's office. She too felt joy but at the same time she felt dread.

Once she got to her father's office she say that Tora had tackled to the ground a girl that looked exactly like her. "Hey, hey, get off me you crazy cat. You'll crush me to death. I missed you too though," said the strange girl.

The girl got up after Tora got off her and faced Kaiko. The girl had on black denim pants, a red silk blouse, and a pair of red open toe sandles. Her hair was even styles like Kaiko's hair, in twin tails. Suddenly she slapped Kaiko to the ground. "How dare you use my form like that?"

"As I recall you gave me permission to use this form as I see fit, Rei," replied Kaiko. The girl's full name is Hosika Rei and she happens to the daughter of the Fire Lord who was also in the room to the side next to her own father.

"I gave Naruto permission to use my form not some bimbo who would agree to have to sex with someone just because they felt sorry for them." That remark from Rei earned Minato a nasty glare from Kaiko as she knew what she had told him in earnest was repeated. "He did not say anything Kaiko. I have spies everywhere. I knew of the horrible prank Naruto pulled on Kiba and the tragic result of it. My spies informed me Sunday night what happened to you the previous night. It did not take a genius to understand what tried to do and why. However your actions since then left me little choice but to come here."

"What actions, Rei?"

The girl's expression flashed extreme anger, "I thought you already knew I hate that name, Kaiko. I distinctly remember telling Naruto to call me Mari."

"Mari is your pet name. Rei is your given name. I thought since I am Kaiko now… "

"There you go again, Kaiko. Just call me Mari okay and stop overly thinking things through like that. Naruto was full of life and that is the reason I gave him permission to use my form. I never thought he would dare do anything so stupid as you have done though. I don't care if it seems like I am blaming you or not. True what happened to you is not your fault however, what you were willing to do with my form is. They are two separate things. Then there is the matter of allowing that Sakura to get away with what she did the other day. Naruto would never let her get away with it."

The Fire Lord chosen this moment to speak up. "I have discussed the matter over with your Father and he agrees. You need a change in your environment temporarily. Also my daughter expressed strong concerns you have miss-used the permission she gave you in using her form for that stupid jutsu. You are to come to the capital with us for a while. You will live in my house during that time and go to the same school Mari does as her twin cousin."

Kaiko had a concern, "The Ninja Program?"

Minato jumped in, "You will be taking a temporary leave of absence from the program. I have arranged a private tutor for you in the capital so you won't lose much ground in those studies. When you come back your spot will still be there."

Kaiko's mind was being overloaded at the moment, "Well … well … well I guess I better go home and pack."

"Oh NO you don't," declared Mari, "I know what your new clothes consist of. If they are not tacky Kiminos then its ninja gear. I wouldn't be caught dead in neither of them. I've brought you a change of clothes with me. Once you change into them we will leave immediately."

"You mean right now?" questioned Kaiko as she looked around at everyone. Everyone just nodded their heads including her father. Reluctantly she took the bag full of clothes from Mari and headed into her Father's private Hokage office to change.

Thus a new arc has started – one of Kaiko's adventure in the capital.
