Rita hurried into the Daily Prophet building, taking extra care to magically lock the door behind her. A peak out the window showed her the mop of red hair that she had been hoping would have disappeared with her entry into the building.
The boy was insane, Rita was sure of it. She didn't care that he was one of the fabulously famous Golden Trio, or that he was willing to tell her all the secrets of his best friend, Harry Potter.
No. Rita didn't care about any of that when the boy was stalking her with proclamations of love whenever she was in earshot. It was ridiculous, and freaky, and more than a little terrifying.
The Weasley simply refused to leave her alone! Even when she had point blankly told him that she wasn't interested and that he was most certainly too young. Rita had standards, after all, and she definitely didn't want to be one of those people who were in the newspaper for the wrong things.
Because she was certain that they would blame her, and Rita hated taking the blame for anything.
