I Can Prove It!

Idea inspired by Colonel Mustard

Disclaimer: I added information in here from Two Heroes, but no spoilers. Just a character name is mentioned and her friendship with Izuku.

"Where are you going, Midoriya?" Shoto Todoroki asked as his friend tried to sneak out the door.

"Oh, uh...I gotta go do some training. I'll be back in a little bit." Izuku smiled and left the dorm. Todoroki looked out the window to see where he was going. At the edge of the woods, he saw his friend meet up with...All Might. His eyes went wide. How obvious could Midoriya make it?

"What'cha looking at, Todoroki?" Ochaco Uraraka came up behind the boy, making him jump. "Oh, there's Deku."

"With All Might," Todoroki added, his eyes narrowing.

"So? I bet he just wants some advice. After all, their quirks are pretty similar." Ochaco replied, shrugging her shoulders.

"Yeah. Too similar."

"What are you getting at?" Ochaco asked, puzzled.

"Don't you find it strange that Midoriya and All Might are so close? Even when school had just started, All Might seemed to favor Midoriya. Not to mention that their quirks are so similar. And Midoriya seems a little too obsessed with him, right?" Todoroki's eyebrows furrowed with concentration.

"I don't understand."

"What if...what if they're closer than we thought?"

Ochaco's eyes widened. "You mean...like a family friend or something?"

"No, closer. What if Midoriya...is All Might's kid?"

Ochaco stood in shock for a second, before bursting into laughter. "Wow Todoroki, I never thought you could be so funny! That was a great joke! I honestly thought you were serious for a second!"

"I am," Todoroki replied, stone-faced.

Ochaco's laughter cut short and she stared at him with concern.

"What's going on over here?" Tsuyu asked, coming up beside her friends.

"Todoroki thinks Deku is All Might's son," Ochaco said, hoping that her friend would find it as ridiculous as she thought it was.

"I mean, I wouldn't totally exclude the possibility." Tsuyu shrugged, bringing her finger to her chin.

"WHAT? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS?" Ochaco exclaimed, running a hand through her hair. "Iida, come over here!"

"What's wrong, Uraraka?" Her blue-haired friend cocked his head.

"Please tell Tsu and Todoroki that they're being ridiculous."

"What's going on?" Iida asked, nearing the group.

"What if...Midoriya is All Might's secret love child?" Todoroki whispered, careful not to alert anyone else.

Iida's eyebrows furrowed, and then he broke out into a hearty laugh. "What a theory! But I'm sorry, my friends, I have to agree with Uraraka on this. It seems a little too far fetched."

"Thank you, Iida!" Ochaco smiled.

"I HAVE PROOF!" Todoroki blurted, red immediately rushing to his cheeks. His friends turned to him with shock.

"What did you just say?" Tsuyu asked.

"I...I've been gathering proof," Todoroki said, scratching behind his head.

"What kind of proof?" Iida pressed.

"It...It'd be better if I show you." Todoroki said, leading the way to the elevator. His friends followed, intrigued.

They went to the fifth floor and entered Todoroki's room. No matter how many times they saw it, they could never get used to the extremely different layout. "So Japanese!" They all thought.

Todoroki reached behind his desk and pulled out a corkboard. It was littered with pictures and notes, with red string to make connections. But the worst part was...it was entirely for Izuku and All Might.

"Todoroki...are you a psychopath? Or a stalker?" Ochaco muttered under her breath.

"No! I asked Midoriya about this at the sports festival, and he seemed really nervous when I brought it up. So...I started to investigate. I tried to find any genetic similarities, but for the most part, Midoriya resembles his mom. The only connection is their curly hair." Todoroki started, showing off his evidence. His friends stood politely, wondering how insane the boy was.

"Next, I noticed how similar their quirks were. Not only that, but Midoriya has the same moves. You guys hear what he says when he attacks, right?"

"It is true. Midoriya seems to base his special moves off of All Might, such as 'Detroit Smash'. But that just means he's a big fan." Iida answered.

"That's what I thought. But if that was the case, then why would All Might take such an interest in him? After all, he should be helping us all develop our quirks. However, he seems most interested in helping Midoriya succeed." Todoroki continued.

"I never thought about it that way," Ochaco said, doubt taking root in her mind.

"I have a genuine curiosity about this. It seems too strange not to investigate further. I just want answers." Todoroki said.

"Wow, Todoroki. You're starting to make me second guess myself." Tsuyu exclaimed.

"It does seem a little suspicious. After all, I don't know many people who are close to their crazed fans. Maybe Todoroki is onto something." Iida stated.

"Shouldn't we just talk to Deku about this? Maybe we're freaking out for nothing. It could just be one giant coincidence." Ochaco said.

"I agree with Todoroki. I think we should investigate. Besides, Todoroki already asked Deku and he denied it. We have to figure this out on our own. Then, once we have some solid evidence, we can go to him." Tsuyu answered, sitting down to study the board. Iida sat beside her.

Ochaco sighed. "Okay. I'm in." She said, scooching in between Tsu and Todoroki.

"Isn't it strange that Melissa and Izuku knew each other so well at the I-Expo? Especially since Melissa knows All Might. Maybe that could be a clue." Tsu suggested, and Todoroki added the note to the board.

"Yeah, they sure seemed close," Ochaco grumbled.

"I've also heard All Might call him 'my boy.' That's pretty strange if you ask me." Iida added.

"I've always wondered about that," Todoroki said, scribbling down a note.

The kids continued with their research, adding anything that might be of significance. Slowly but surely, the members of the Dekusquad started to believe what Todoroki was implying. Even Ochaco was convinced. It was all coming together. Izuku was All Might's son. There was no other explanation for all of their evidence. They had to confront him on this.

"Guys," Ochaco whispered, sliding the door open with snacks in hand. "The love child has returned. We need to question him; it's now or never."

The kids scrambled to their feet and ran to the elevator, hastily pressing the button that led to the common area. They poured out of the elevator the moment the doors opened and surrounded the green-haired boy.

"MIDORIYA!" Iida exclaimed, grabbing his friend by the arm. "You need to come with us."

"Wha-guys what's going on?" Izuku's eyes widened with concern.

"You've got some serious explaining to do, Deku," Ochaco said, eyes narrowing with suspicion. A chill went down Izuku's spine.

They dragged the poor boy upstairs to Todoroki's room and slammed the door behind them. They sat him down on the floor and presented the corkboard, filled with even more evidence than before.

"Guys...what is that?" Izuku asked, a newfound fear stirring inside of him.

"When were you going to tell us that you were All Might's secret love child?" Ochaco accused, crossing her arms in frustration.

"WHAT?" Izuku yelped. "Todoroki, what did you do?"

"I told them my hunch, and they agreed. The evidence is all here, Midoriya. You can't hide this little secret from us any longer." Todoroki replied.

"We're your friends, Deku. You should've been okay with telling us this. It's not like we're going to tell anyone else. Your secret would have been safe with us." Tsuyu added.

Izuku sighed and massaged his temples. "Guys, my dad is not All Might. My dad is Hisashi Midoriya. He's currently overseas, so no one's seen him, but he's my biological dad. My father is not All Might!"

"But...why are you so close then? That seems awfully suspicious." Ochaco asked.

"He trains me. Sure, our quirks are similar which could cause some suspicion, but it's not like he's my dad or anything. He helps me understand better ways to harness my power without hurting myself. I've gotten strategies from him to prevent me from breaking any more bones. I've endured the wrath of Recovery Girl and I need him so that I don't die by her hands!" Izuku exclaimed, throwing his hands up in exasperation.

His friends stood dumbfounded. It wasn't like Izuku to get so angry. What was going on with him?

"Please stop trying to make this a conspiracy theory. My biological dad is currently working overseas, and that's the truth. You can even ask my mom if you need to!" Izuku shook his head.

"Okay Deku. I'm sorry." Ochaco said, hanging her head in embarrassment.

"Yeah, sorry." The others added.

"Thank you. Now can we go downstairs? I think Mina and Denki were putting together a Mario Kart tournament and I wouldn't mind being a part of it." Izuku said, standing up and brushing off his pants.

The kids followed him out the door and back down to the common area where, sure enough, Mina and Denki were battling for first place.

"SERIOUSLY MINA? A BLUE SHELL?" Denki screamed as his character was knocked off of Rainbow Road. Mina cackled.

Izuku sat down on a chair and watched, smiling at the not-so-friendly competition between his classmates.

"You two, keep it down. You guys are giving me a headache." Aizawa scolded, his scarf in hand. Wait...why did he have his scarf? He was on patrol earlier today. He shouldn't need it. The kids watched him walk out the door and they hurried to the window. Outside, they saw their teacher meet up with Shinso, the kid from General Studies. He too was wearing a scarf like Aizawa, his gym uniform smothered beneath the long piece of fabric. It almost looked as if…

"Guys…" Todoroki started.

"Getting the corkboard now," Ochaco replied, bolting towards the elevator to start a new investigation.

AN: Thank you so much to Colonel Mustard for suggesting this prompt. The moment I saw this in the comments, I started to write the story. Todoroki is my favorite character and I loved the idea of him convincing the other kids that Deku is All Might's secret love child, so thank you so much for that prompt! Also, I've been playing a lot of Mario Kart lately, so I decided to add some of my frustrations into the story through Denki and Mina (because why not?). Thank you for reading! :)
