That Time of Month

Disclaimer: Probably not suitable for children. If you don't want to read about...feminine problems (if you catch my drift.) please skip over this chapter. If you still don't understand, the girls are on their periods.

"Um, guys, there's something really wrong with Jiro." Denki Kaminari said as he walked into the common area.

"Her too? What happened?" Ojiro asked.

"She started crying the moment I cracked a sarcastic joke. SHE NEVER CRIES!" Kaminari exclaimed. "Wait...what do you mean too?"

"Hagakure is acting weird too. She hasn't come out of her dorm room at all today. I'm starting to get a little worried." Ojiro replied, grabbing his tail and anxiously petting it. "I know she wasn't feeling the best yesterday, but she's never been like this."

"It's probably just some weird girl things. Nothing too serious." Mineta said, getting a glare from some of his classmates.

"Should we check on them? I want to make sure that nothing's wrong. Could it be the training?" Sero suggested.

"They've never been this stressed over training before. Maybe something happened at home. It's none of our business." Todoroki replied.

Just then, one of the girls entered the common area. Ochaco Uraraka emerged from the elevator, but not as her usual, chipper self. She wore a black hoodie that covered her face and she hunched over, arms crossed over her lower abdomen. She opened the freezer and took out an entire pint of ice cream. After grabbing a spoon, she started walking back to the elevator without a word to the boys.

"Hey, Uraraka!" Izuku said, rushing over to her. "You doing okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I'm just not feeling good." Ochaco replied. She pulled her hood farther down over her brown eyes.

"Are you sure ice cream is gonna help?"

"It's fine, Deku. Just please leave me be."

"Uraraka...are you sure you're alright? Did I do something wrong?"

"Everything's fine. Could you lower your voice please?" She asked, a shadow looming over her face.

"What? Uraraka...?" Izuku continued, not paying any mind to her last comment.

"Shut up. Just please shut up." She snarled, turning on her heel and walking away. She opened up the canister of ice cream and took out a heaping spoonful.

"Okay. Something's definitely wrong." Izuku shuddered, coming back to sit with his friends.

"What's up with her?" Sato asked.

"She told me to shut up," Izuku muttered.

"Uraraka? No way! She's too nice!" Kaminari exclaimed.

"You guys are all idiots, you know that right?" Bakugou rolled his eyes, leaning his head back with a scoff.

"What d'ya mean?" Kaminari questioned.

"Put two and two together, extras. Emotional, cravings, isolation, anger. Do I need to spell it out for you?"

"Oh...my...gosh. NO!" Kirishima groaned, covering his face with his hands.

"What? What is it? What's wrong?" Kaminari said, completely oblivious.

"It's that time, Kaminari," Sero said, catching on to his friend's comment.

"Time for what?" Todoroki asked.

"The girls are on their...ya know," Kirishima whispered as if he was a child saying a cuss word.

The boys cocked their heads, their innocence completely blinding them from the truth.

"They're on their period, guys," Sero stated.

The boys went silent, some of them going pale.

"...oh." Kaminari cringed, eyes widening.

"Alright, which of you idiots are going to go shopping with me?" Bakugou said, standing up from the couch.

"What for?" Izuku asked.

"We're going to get stuff for the girls. They're gonna need it."

...

"So...what exactly are we looking for, Kacchan?" Izuku asked as a group of the boys walked into the convenience store.

"Anything you think the girls might like. I don't know them as well as you do, but get them their favorite foods and such."

"How do you know so much about this, Bakugou?" Kirishima asked, eyeing the candy aisle.

"My mom's a dang hag, a real demon. Can you imagine what she's like on her period?" Bakugou said. The boys' eyes went wide, their minds trying to grasp how close to hell the Bakugou home got to during that time. "Let's just say my dad and I jump through hoops to keep her happy. Anyway, anyone who actually knows what they're doing, follow me. Everyone else, find stuff that girls would like." Bakugou continued, dragging Kirishima behind him as he went further into the store. Sero skittered after them.

Izuku quickly found some mochi for Uraraka and jelly donuts for Tsuyu, and Ida added ice cream to the mix. Ojiro got Hagakure a teddy bear to add to her collection, along with some chocolates. Some of the boys noticed that Momo had been hungrier than usual and stocked up on lots of different food items, mainly chocolate. Kaminari found a music gift card to give Jiro as a peace offering.

Bakugou emerged with feminine products under his arms, completely confident. Kirishima and Sero walked behind him, their cheeks slightly flushed with embarrassment.

"Oh, dang Bakugou, isn't that a little bold?" Kaminari asked. "What if they actually aren't on their period and we're making a big deal out of this?"

"Well, then they can have these for when they actually need it! I'm being careful!" Bakugou snarled. "Now go get some tylenol and ibuprofen, you idiots!"

Izuku and Ida sped over to the medication section and picked up the bottles, one for each girl. They scurried back to the group and dumped them into the shopping baskets.

"Alright that should be enough," Bakugou said, nearing the counter. "Come on, you freaking losers, we don't have all day."

He dumped his shopping basket onto the counter and some of the other boys did the same. The cashier looked at them with wide eyes.

"What? You've never seen a guy buy feminine products before? Just scan the dang stuff, you extra!" Bakugou growled, making the cashier scan their items in a frenzy. The boys racked up their change and gave it to the shuddering cashier, who looked like he was about to faint at the sight of demonoid Bakugou. Izuku gave him a reassuring smile to calm his poor nerves.

"Thank you very much!" The boys said (sans Bakugou) and they left the convenience store.

"Whatever you do, be nice. And if they need anything, make it happen. We have six hormonal women back home, and the last thing I want is to deal with their rage." Bakugou scowled, and the others hastily agreed. They dreaded the thought of getting back to the dorms, and to their female classmates. Today was turning chaotic, that was for sure.

...

As they walked back into the dorms, they saw Momo shoveling ice cream into her mouth, a bag of chips stuffed into her pocket. They quickly sprung into action.

"Hi, Momo! Anything we can do for you? Anything at all?"

"I got some baking supplies at the store! Do you want me to make anything for you? Cake? Cookies? Brownies?"

Momo's eyes went wide, tears gathering in her eyes. "You...you would do that for me?" She asked, shoving another spoon of ice cream down her throat.

The boys nodded vigorously.

"Well...I do like brownies." She said, her mouth watering at the thought of warm homemade brownies made by Sato.

"Coming right up!" Sato replied and started to whisk out the ingredients.

"I also got you this book you were talking about Yaoyorozu," Todoroki said, handing her a new romance novel she had talked about a couple of days before. Momo gasped in shock.

"What's going on with you guys? It's not my birthday or anything. Why are you being so kind?" She asked.

"We kinda guessed that you girls were...dealing with girl stuff," Sero said. "We wanted to help you in any way we can. You girls must be feeling terrible right now."

Momo's eyes went wide, and then she burst into tears. "Oh, you guys! You're so sweet!" She wept. "We...we didn't want you guys to get dragged into it."

"Hey, we're all friends here. We'll help in any way we can." Kirishima said, spreading out his arms and letting Momo cry into his shoulder.

"Th-thank you." Momo stuttered, pulling away from her friend's embrace. "Do...do you happen to have any pain killers?"

Ida placed a bottle into her hand. "Feel better soon." He said with a smile.

"Thank you. All of you." She beamed with tears shining in her eyes. "I'm gonna go lay in the dark for a while, but please tell me when the brownies are done. I'll even make some tea for you guys if you want."

"Don't worry about it. We've gotcha covered." Kaminari gave her a thumbs up.

Momo hustled back upstairs to her room, and the boys quickly got to work. After Momo confirmed their suspicions, they were able to prepare for the days ahead.

"Shoji, Koda, I have very important roles for you," Kirishima said in a whisper. "Operation: Keep Mineta Away From The Girls At All Costs."

The two boys nodded and dispersed, quickly taking the perverted grape child up to his room.

Sato and Bakugou got to work with baking. As if he couldn't be even more amazing, Bakugou was superb in the kitchen. How he didn't have a significant other yet, the boys would never know.

The boys split up their duties depending on who they knew best. They prepared little baskets filled with food and other items that would hopefully make them happy. A little while after Bakugou and Sato got the brownies into the oven, the boys set out to give their gifts to their suffering classmates.

...

"Hagakure?" Ojiro knocked on her door.

"Here." Hagakure whimpered from inside. "It's open."

Ojiro entered the pitch-black room, trying to see the invisible girl through the darkness. He finally found her curled up in bed, her pillow soaked with tears.

"I brought you some stuff. Momo told us what was going on with you girls. I thought this might be able to help." Ojiro smiled and handed her the items, and she sat up to examine them.

"A teddy bear? And chocolate...PAINKILLERS! Oh, thank you Mashirao." She said, bringing the boy into a hug.

"It was nothing." He said, returning her embrace. "Just wanted to make sure you were okay, that's all."

"Jiro? Can I come in?" Kaminari asked, standing outside her door.

Jiro opened up, her bed head making her hair stick up abnormally. "What do you want, Kaminari?" Jiro muttered, rubbing her eyes. "You interrupted a pleasant nap."

"So...Momo told us you girls were on your...ya know…"

Jiro's eyes went wide and her face flushed with embarrassment. "Oh my gosh, why would she say that? We wanted to keep it secret!" She growled.

"Well Bakugou figured it out first...but Momo confirmed it. Wejustwantedtohelp!" Kaminari tripped over his words, hoping not to get attacked by her earphone jacks. He presented the basket. "I got you some stuff!" He said, wincing at the loud volume. Jiro glared daggers.

"If you're going to be here, be quiet. I have a splitting headache." Jiro said, snatching the basket and examining the contents. Her face softened as she looked through, and tears started to well in her eyes. "You...you guys did this...for me?" Her voice cracked.

Kaminari let out a nervous chuckle. "Yeah. We obviously don't know how you feel, but we know it must suck, and we wanted to help."

Jiro burst into hysterical sobs, clutching the front of Kaminari's shirt. "This is the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me! I've felt terrible and you guys just...just bought all this for me!" Her snot and tears wet his shirt, and he patted her head, unaware of what else he could do.

She pulled away. After wiping her tears, she gave a slight punch to his shoulder. "Ouch! What was that for?"

"You tell anyone about this and you're dead. Got it?" She snarled.

"Heard you loud and clear." He smiled. "Feel better soon, Jiro. I'm here if you need me."

She started to shut the door but gave a timid smile back. "Thank you, Denki. It means a lot."

"Hey, Mina." Kirishima smiled as his friend opened the door. Her usually joyful demeanor had vanished to reveal an exhausted face. It took a very strong will to keep from hugging her.

"H-hey Kirishima," Mina muttered.

"I'm sorry you're not feeling great," Kirishima said, handing her the countless items they bought at the store. "I hope this makes up for it. There's painkillers, and chocolate, and Bakugou's gonna make some natto for you..."

"Wait...how'd ya know?" Mina asked, eying her friend suspiciously.

"We kinda figured it out," Kirishima replied. "Well...Bakugou did...but we caught on soon after he mentioned something!"

Mina smiled. "Well, thank you. You guys are really sweet. I'll be down in a little bit. That natto better be good." She giggled and slid the door shut.

Kirishima sighed. At least Mina wasn't a wreck during her period. He couldn't say the same for the others, and he hoped that they would be okay.

"H-hey Uraraka," Izuku said timidly as his friend opened her door. Her room was pitch black and she still had the dark hoodie over her eyes.

"What Deku?" Ochaco whimpered, massaging her head. She looked up to see Dark Shadow making a dome, blocking out the light from the hallway. "What is Dark Shadow doing here?"

"Well, I realized you're probably having a migraine and thought he would come in handy. I've heard that they can be light sensitive." He presented the basket. "Um...we got this for you. There are some painkillers and food...I even got you mochi. I know it's your favorite." He said.

"You...you did this for me?"

"Well not just me. All the guys pitched in. It was Kacchan who realized what was going on and we all went to the store to get some stuff. Iida and I made sure to get stuff that you and Tsu would like, but all the other girls are getting stuff too. Kacchan really seemed to scare the cashier, but I think that…" Izuku's rant was cut short when Ochaco put a finger to his lips. Izuku slightly blushed at the sudden touch.

"Thank you, Deku. It's very kind of you. And Dark Shadow." She acknowledged, giving a genuine smile.

"O-of course. N-no problem." He said, slowly backing away from the door. "Oh, some of the guys are making some food. If you're up to joining us, you can come down."

Ochaco chuckled. "Thanks. My migraine is starting to get better, so I'll be down at some point. Sorry for the trouble. And...I shouldn't have snapped at you earlier. It was really mean."

"Oh, it's fine. You've been going through a rough time…"

"Deku, I've been dealing with this since I was thirteen. I should know how to control my emotions by now. I shouldn't have snapped at you the way I did. Can you forgive me?" Ochaco said, grabbing his shoulders and staring into his green eyes.

"Of course, Uraraka. It's not like I'm mad at you or anything. Remember, I grew up with Kacchan." Izuku smiled, and Ochaco broke out into a fit of giggles.

"Right. Well, I'll see you downstairs." She smiled and closed the door.

Dark Shadow deflated and revealed Tokoyami. Dark Shadow leaned closer to his wielder and said "They totally like each other."

"NO WE DON'T!" Izuku said, his blush intensifying. That didn't seem to convince the pair and they walked off.

"I'm serious guys! It's not like that!" Izuku defended, chasing after them, but they paid no mind to the green-haired boy, who was obviously lovesick and definitely in denial.

As time wore on, more girls entered the common area. The boys had made enough food for everyone in the class, and everyone snacked on the delicious, comforting soup. Whiffs of chocolate caught the girl's attention as Sato brought out a fresh pan of brownies. Momo held back the urge to drool.

Tsuyu was the last to come downstairs. It took a lot of effort, but she was finally able to crawl out of her room despite her discomfort. She sat down on the couch and held her arms against her stomach, slowly sipping on the soup that was handed to her.

Bakugou crept over to Todoroki and laid a pillow next to him. He whispered something in the boy's ear and returned to the kitchen, leaving Todoroki to process his classmate's words for a moment. Finally, he took the pillow and buried it under his left arm, warming up his left side just under the point where he would combust. After a couple of minutes, he handed the warmed pillow to Tsuyu and she took it gratefully, placing it on her abdomen and letting out a relieved sigh.

"Since she's technically an amphibian, the warmth must help." Izuku thought to himself as he sat next to her with a brownie.

Soon enough all the kids were settled in the common room, chatting with each other like normal. The girls passed around the pillow and Todoroki would warm it again when necessary. The company seemed to lift the girls' spirits, and they seemed to forget about their pain...for the most part.

"Thank you all. You really didn't have to do this, but it was really sweet." Momo said, happily snacking on her fifth brownie.

"It's no problem. It must be tough for you girls." Kirishima said.

"We'll try to keep it hidden better next time," Ochaco said, shoving mochi in her mouth as she said so.

"If you ever need anything, we're here." Sero smiled.

"The same to you guys. We don't have to get all the attention just because of basic biology. We should do something for the guys sometime." Jiro said.

"Totally." Mina agreed.

"As long as there's food involved, I'm down." Kaminari joked, and some of the boys nodded.

"A PICNIC!" Hagakure exclaimed.

"With barbecue!"

"And games! There's gotta be games!"

"We can have it here, on the grounds!"

"As long as Mr. Aizawa agrees."

As the kids interjected with more ideas, Bakugou stood to the side, smirking ever so slightly. Mina crept up beside him, making him jump when she tapped his shoulder.

"Thanks for everything." She said.

"I have no clue what you mean." Bakugou denied.

"Oh don't try to be modest. Kirishima told me it was you. All the girls know it was you. You may try to act tough, but you're a big softie." She nudged him, and Bakugou crossed his arms.

"I just know what monsters women can be, that's all. I didn't want to suffer for the next week." Bakugou huffed.

Mina rolled her eyes. "Keep telling yourself that. No matter how much you try to mask it, you care about us. All of us. Now shut up and take a compliment."

Bakugou stood in shock for a moment, before quickly replying, "Fine, ya dang raccoon eyed alien."

"Thank you." She said, walking away and joining her other classmates once again.

A smile tugged on the corner of Bakugou's mouth. Although he would never admit it, these extras were starting to grow on him. And maybe, just maybe...they weren't bad friends to have.

AN: I've had this idea for a while now. I've always wondered, "How would the boys react in this situation?" I knew that Bakugou would be the absolute best in this situation because...he's Bakugou (obviously lol). Periods honestly suck and it's always the sweetest when people make an effort to ease your pain. I had a friend who literally got me snacks just because they knew I wasn't feeling well. So thank you, friend that shall remain nameless, for giving me sweet ideas for the boys to do.

Also, life is starting to get a little crazy, so I don't know when I'll be able to update next. Don't worry, I'm not going to drop off of the face of the earth for months (I hate it when that happens, and I don't want to get into that habit). I know I always say this, but if you have any ideas whatsoever, don't be afraid to leave a comment. I'm honestly starting to get writers' block, and I would also love to know what YOU would want to read. I will be sure to give you a shoutout as well! Thank you so much for reading these stories and I hope you all have a fabulous day (or night, depending on when you're reading this)! :)
