Chapter 47: Plot, Revenge, Murder - Part 3
~Dedicated to Droplets of blue rain for being the 600th Reviewer ^_^
(Take the dose by Sims, connect the dots. XD)
A/N: (Anyway, she's really lucky. Just like Tyson, and his fate... I can probably salute Hilary's fate once again too.) - This line was one of Kai's thoughts in previous chapter. Relate! XD
"Please sir, let me meet her once. I've really an important message for, her" Kai requested jadedly to Hillary's father who seemed irritated now.
"Look, I asked my daughter and she's clearly not interested to meet you, so you better leave," The young man in his thirties said mundanely.
"Fine, I'll leave. Just say her I'd to talk about Nyhan." Kai said reluctantly and turned to leave. Hilary was standing behind the door hearing him and she abruptly appeared out and called him, "Wait Kai!" She shouted and waited. He looked at her and sighed, "Can we talk in your room?" Kai asked.
Her father gave a doubtful look to Kai, and Hilary nodded, "It's okay, dad," Hilary said. Mr. Tachibana left them.
...
"What you wanted to tell me about Nyhan?" Hilary asked as she stood leaning against her room pole.
Kai sighed. He was seated on a couch.
"Since when do you know Nyhan?" Kai asked, because her question made it clear that she knew Nyhan.
"Why are you asking?" Hilary asked simply.
"Can you just answer my questions?" Kai gave a harsh look.
"Since he came to meet me once, after Ryan's death," Hilary said, "We are in contact since then,"
"Is he a nice person?" Kai asked doubtfully,
"Umm yeah, he cried a lot for his brother's death and he still misses him," Hilary said. Kai jumped out of his skin and swerved up from his seat, "You mean Nyhan is Ryan's brother?" Kai asked horrifically.
"Yeah, is there something wrong with that?" Hilary raised her eyebrow.
"Hilary..." Kai said softly and seemed very disturbed, "Ryan... Ryan isn't dead... He's with me." Kai said in a low and dejected tone.
...
"WHAT?" Hillary's eyes spooked out and she veered from her position, "Stop fooling me, Kai! Enough with your shit!" Hilary yelled.
"I'm not kidding. Ryan's with me," Kai said seriously with wide eyes. Hilary gulped hard.
"Have you really lost it! I was there in the hospital when he died and when he was taken to graveyard! He died two years back! You can't fool me. HE died already!" Hilary bawled. "A guy died in the side ward. His parents took Ryan along for burial while you were unconscious, Hils" Margot said. Hilary suddenly remembered... and she was totally feeling whammy now.
"I'm serious here, Hils, trust me," Kai sighed tiredly. Hilary gave a serious look to him for few seconds.
She trudged towards him and held his hands, "Can I meet him?" Hilary implored tearfully, "Please, Kai?" Hilary's heart pumped unhealthily like a drum and blood bolted in her veins,
"Now you understand why I wanted to meet you," Kai looked in her eyes, accosting.
"I do! I'm sorry. Please take me to him," Hillary's heart beat was rising impulsively as she got this nostalgic sensation that Ryan was alive.
"You can meet him, but..." Kai paused, "You can't take him from us," Kai said,
"Us?" Hilary shivered,
"I'll tell you later," he gave a promising smile to her and held her hands.
...
Hillary's thoughts were jumbled and badly jammed fully. She had so many questions, so many predictions, so many assumptions, but she kept the patience to shut up now. Kai drove his car calmly. The breezes were hazy. The sky was fumbling with fog like vague shadows. It was strange but nothing mattered.
He parked his car in the cellar of an old building. He ushered her into the building. On reaching the third floor, he walked towards a door of an apartment and knocked. Hilary gave a petite glance to him, a strand of hair on her side view. The door opened and she was greeted with the well known Russian.
"Get in," Tala said. Hilary gulped and looked nervous but she was too bad concealing at it. Kai gave her a reassuring smile.
"Keep your calm, Hilary," Tala warned as he opened a door and walked in, she was slightly tangled in the side curtain. She freed herself with care and looked around. She was almost impatient. There was Bryan, Ian, someone lying, and stuff around. Her eyes veered again towards the bed and she stared at the figure lying. Hilary gasped loudly and her breath stuck. She kept a hand on her mouth. Sudden tears flowed down, rained down uncontrollably. She was gasping sickly. She hiccuped and hitched. Summoning to keep her calm, she stood in her place, befuddled and bewildered. There lied the fragile, fast asleep figure, lying deep in his slumber.
Ryan...
Nothing's gonna help to heal the hurt
Long as I keep on believin' I deserve it
Maybe today's the day I'll walk away from takin' all the blame
'Cause if I carry it then none of this will change, oh
Hilary ambled towards the bed with that scared, blanched and unbelievable face. Tala groaned silently at this move of Hilary but Kai held his hand.
Hilary peered at him, her face remorseful, dejected and filled with a floating like light heart. In her silence, tears flowed, lips shakily trembled, heart frazzled, tears paving across her neck. Her heart seemed to be involuntarily relaxed, suddenly feeling light and cold. This was, really Ryan. Her Ryan. How much I've missed you... and now you're here.
She noticed him clearly. That mole under his lip, that perfect nose, that tiredness, that feeling of having enough, that same closed fist as he slept, those messy black hair smoothly there. Her mind seemed to be day-dreaming, somewhere in heaven, light and floating. Kai held her hand. Hilary slowly looked at Kai, looking grateful at him. She gave him a thankful smile. "Relax, he is okay," Kai said softly. Had she seen him few weeks back, she would have seen him covered in bandages, stitches and marks deeper everywhere, a face even worse with fragility.
The trio excited the room and Bryan gave an unsure shrug.
They sat in silence for a minute, deep in their thoughts in the drawing room on the old chairs.
"Hilary, I know there are lots of questions in your mind..." Tala said,
Hilary looked at him in hope.
"I don't understand. Ryan died two years back. How can he be here..." Hilary said in a low tone. Their voices looked woeful.
"Ryan never died..." Kai said,
"Why did you hide this from me," Hilary looked at Kai.
"Hilary, Ryan never died. Two years back, that day when you returned to Florida... In hospital, you saw his ECG, Ryan collapsed. It was all false. Even those white stuffing in his mouth and nose too were false. He was unconscious, but not dead... All was an act." Kai looked at Hilary. A thunderstorm seemed to have descended on her.
"Ryan was never taken to graveyard that day. It was the other patient who was in the side ward who had actually died. He was taken for burial but not Ryan. It was all an act. It was all a plan to kill Ryan. Ryan was on ventilator, he had too many complications, but he wasn't dead" Tala explained with hurt and fury.
Maybe Margot was fooled that day by the culprit.
"It was all an act to fool you people and you guys... in your eyes you didn't even take the notice who was taken to the graveyard wrapped in white cloth. It wasn't Ryan." He continued with accusation. Hilary was all in ears and her heart was beating like a drum.
"After you left, Ryan was taken to the Cliffside and mercilessly thrown down. He was killed... "Tala said with hurtful hysteria,
"Why would someone try to kill him!" Hilary shouted, she gave a hateful look and looked at Kai "Who did this!"
"A guy named Nyhan!" Tala yelled and slammed his palm on the glass slab of table, shattering it in pieces. Hilary winced at his actions. Kai slightly hitched.
"Tala... Hilary knows about Nyhan." Kai said,
"Nyhan..." Hilary pondered unbelievably, her mind stupefied. "No... He can't do this! Nyhan is Ryan's brother!" Hilary claimed and panicked.
Tala stood bewildered. His eyes shook unbelievably. "What the-"
"I'm serious! Nyhan is his brother! He cried in front of me for his brother's death when he returned for Ryan." Hilary said with maelstrom of emotions,
"It was all an act. I have been trying to search Nyhan all time but it's now when I met Kai just a week back and told him about this guy we found lying in the valley in Florida almost two years back." Tala said,
"Tala didn't know that the guy they found in the valley, lying bloodied and frail, whom they picked and nursed for months, kept with them alive and gave him a new life was Ryan," Kai explained, "Ryan was muted through these months. He didn't talk, he was half dead, yet...still alive. Tala tried talking to him but he never had the strength to say anything. When I saw Ryan a few weeks back, I immediately recognized that this was Ryan and was myself in a huge shock." Kai explained patiently so that it didn't arouse any confusion or confounded stares from the brunette,
Hilary remembered that Kai saw Ryan once when Ryan visited their place in their stay cabins few years back during their championships. That time Kai talked with Ryan too, and also Tyson met Ryan that same time.
"Then Kai told me who Ryan was and that Ryan died almost a year back. Then we concluded that someone must have thrown him from the cliff. We tried asking Ryan so many times who tried to kill him, who threw him down the cliff. It was just a few days back that Ryan answered Nyhan's name." Tala said feeling so much relieved that Ryan spoke,
"His only answer was Nyhan. After I investigated at the hospital, findings were true what we told. Cause, you know what... Nyhan himself is a Doctor, precisely a prominent Surgeon, working there in that hospital in Florida, and he's Ryan's elder brother," Kai told with sharp tone. Hilary was quiet.
Hilary remembers now that he fooled Tyson asking for a job. All false it was. He said to Tyson that his mom wouldn't allow him for job, but Ryan's mom was already dead, another lie. And oh, elder brother, cool. And he had the balls to accuse her that she was responsible for his brother's death. She felt impudent about Nyhan, wanting to strangle and choke him to death alone in her bewildered fury. Hilary thought Nyhan lived in Austin. Probably he came to Florida and joined for a job for killing Ryan, fucked off bastard. She quickly felt very sympathetic for Delia who had a good liking for this guy and they were meeting frequently. She gulped thinking about her,
"Can Ryan never be okay..." Hilary asked extremely scared,
"Doctors, surgeons, specialists, we have tried all of them. He's been given all the medication, it's just the care and time we need," Tala sighed.
"I don't care who Ryan is or with whom he belong, I've found him, nursed him and given a new life, and I'll make sure he get up on his feet one day, and throw Nyhan off from the same cliff one day," Tala justified. Hilary was raging. The fact that Nyhan tried killing Ryan and what he did under that façade, perturbed her greatly. She swore she will avenge him and will put him behind the bars. Years changed her, Ryan changed her back and she had learned to be calm, but right now,she was clenching her teeth with wavering anger that she wanted to explode at anyone for keeping her deprived of him through the years, be it less than two, and making her regret endlessly and expiate for her loss.
Bryan came out, heading to kitchen.
"The soup is in the fridge. Boil it once." Tala said leaning on the edge of his seat so that Bryan hear him clearly,
"I had boiled it already, just getting it," Bryan answered. The door was closed and there was a different and strange aura of quietness.
"Is that soup for Ryan?" Hilary asked curiously. He was living on soups? Has he become so fragile and weak? So on the verge of fighting death each day? Why was living so costly? He didn't ask for anything more than a normal human, right? Then why? Hilary snapped beseechingly in her mind.
"YEP, it's time for his meal. Wanna see him?" Tala asked softly, understanding that Hilary was putting her fervent curiosities all down that was impossible normally.
Hilary nodded earnestly. They got up from their chairs. Hillary's face was almost giving tears of happiness, her breaths silently ragging. "Hilary, one second," Tala said cautiously, looking at her, "Doctors said he's lost his few memories and I'm not sure if he remembers you or not. So just stay quiet. Don't ask him any questions," Tala told politely, because obviously Tala didn't want to perturb Ryan who was already mentally fragile at this stage. Hilary had this doubt already vaguely a little time before but her overprotective senses kicked out that thought. She herself was a Doctor and she knew that Ryan might not remember her.
She walked in the room unflappably last, followed by Kai and Tala. She stood still in her skin. Ryan was sitting in frail, his back leaning against the heap of soft pillows. His eyes were dropped low, down, showing signs of his downcasted and silently wretched states. His pale skin seemed very tired and worn. Hilary stared at him deeply, profoundly thoroughly, deprived in this moment to do anything but just watch.
Bryan came in along with soup and signaled Hilary to sit. Hilary sat on a couch near Ryan silently. Bryan walked towards Ryan and smiled at him,
"Hey," he said to Ryan, "Had a fine sleep?" Ryan gave a slow nod.
"Good," Bryan showed him the soup, "C'mon, we'll eat this," Bryan said optimistically as he started feeding Ryan with the spoon delicately and patiently. Ian stood aside; he wiped the remnants of soup from his lips and accompanied them. Hilary noted how patiently and kindly they dealt with Ryan. For once, her respect for the B-Boys has raised and the previous thoughts of these guys being cold and uncaring were vanquished away. She just stared without a pause or distraction at him, seeing him live, still feeling incredible and finding this moment unbelievable.
Hilary was quiet. She didn't know what to do. Ryan glanced at her occasionally in silent disappointment lingering on his face. Hilary could surmise that, but she was helpless other than to neglect that feeling. Hilary gulped in slightly and stared at him. There seemed some sort of regret and accusation on his face, some sort of it was still there, even though most of him was covered in weakness and he looked expressionless, but I still saw him, everything was so easy but I was far to believe, how stupid I was. Not even giving a second thought, I was believing and accepting everything his face said. Was I to blame? I left him in hospital and went to Japan? I was... rude? I felt my heart would pound up when I imagined Delia said me he was put on ventilator? How ruthless Nyhan was, that bloody bastard! Put his brother on that heartless machine to break him? Hilary squeezed her eyes shut in pain momentarily, curling her lips aggressively.
Bryan was done feeding him and Hilary wondered if she had permission to talk to Ryan. She gave a miserably questioning look to Kai. Kai nodded. Bryan and Ian emptied the room and Hilary stood up gently, courage trying to come up in her, and there seemed suddenly pin drop silence. Without a second thought, she stood right in front of Ryan. There was a deep staring contest between the two but filled with gentleness. They never happened to stare each other years back like this, in this way. Now there was decline of some sort of trust when they stared and dare was flickering in his eyes.
Tala and Kai exchanged a look.
"Ryan… how are you?" Hilary summoned a smile.
Ryan didn't give a reply but kept staring. Hilary was anxious if he'd say anything. Ryan said nothing but gave her a guilty look with a shake of head, imply a curt 'no'. It was as if he refused to ever recognize her.
"Ryan, I'm Hilary," Hilary said with a meant smile, anxious if he really didn't remember her.
Lost in the moment
I was there and you were here,
Looking for direction, looking from protection
From the quiet I fear.
My light in the dark!
Can we rescue the sparks!
Where I'd go so wrong?
Loved you all along,
All the lost time!
The shards of the past…
"Hilary, Ryan hasn't talked quite for a long time. You better not pressurize him," Tala warned sweetly, because this little staring and talk between the two got Tala a little cautious.
"Don't you know me?" Hilary asked almost on the verge of sobbing,
Ryan shook his head in no, briefly and firmly. Kai's lips spared in slight shock and Tala rolled his eyes.
"I never knew you," Ryan said in a fragile tone, very impassively.
"I hate drinking coffee in morning, Ryan. Even though all girls prefer it," Hilary whined childishly and gave a look to him,
"Then I hate coffee from now on too," Ryan chuckled.
"You don't have to," Hilary rolled her eyes, "Ryan, I'm anti-everything but still we can be friends, you don't have to change,"
Hilary stood expressionless with a monotonous shattered stare at him. Tears paved and rolled down freely but she was silent, no words uttered.
"I'm sorry I left you at hospital but you know what… Tyson's Grandpa is in coma since a month," Hilary reasoned and gave a nostalgic smile, her voice was still stable, no shaking and crying. Her words didn't came properly, but she just wanted to make him understand that she left for a reason, the reason was Ryu Grandpa that time.
Ryan's expression slightly changed and Kai veered out of his seat, "What?" Kai almost yelped. NOW, NOW, Kai finally came to know about Ryu's state, his heart felt punched.
"I didn't say you yet but that happened prior to Championships few days. Tyson has been torn. It's a relief that Ashlene returned or else he would have been dead by these tortures of life," Hilary lowly laughed ironically,
Kai clasped Hilary's hand, "Why didn't you tell me?" He demanded, contemptuous about Tyson but spooked up and scared about Grandpa ,
"I'm not answerable to you," She said curtly in a low tone. Kai growled. She ignored Kai easily and was more focused on Ryan.
"Ryan, I know you're lying. I've known you for four years, you can't lie to me." Hilary explained delicately, "I know you hate me because I wasn't there in your last day and I'm… I'm sorry." Hilary gave a laugh as tears flowed like speeded rain, "You've no idea how I lived this year. I never forgot you, you were always there in my heart no matter how far apart we were," Hilary sniffled as she felt a blockade in nostrils,
"I hid my pain. Just because I tried handling your absence doesn't mean I deserve it, Ryan! I wonder what was my deed that God returned you in my life, even when you're saying that you don't know me," She squealed in dejection, a heart unsure if it was breaking or trying strenuously not to break now.
Sing me a symphony
One for the lost and in between
A city of fallen dreams
A city of angels
Sing back the melody
A song for the hearts left in the streets
A voice for the out of reach
The city of angels...
"Hilary… enough," Kai comforted her giving a soft press on her wrist. He never wanted her to see her crying and so helpless in front of everyone because of her love not able to accept her this moment. Had Ryan been not ill, Kai would have shot bundle of death glares at Ryan.
"I know I wasn't the best person to understand you but I was trying!" she fell on the ground on her knees and held her face in her hands, Kai quickly attempted to make her stand and she reluctantly stood up again, still hiding her teary embarrassed face in her palms, "I missed you so much, because I loved you." Hilary sobbed the last part. She couldn't wait any longer to confess this. Kai still didn't leave her hand, he was sadly smiling that she was finally able to say this, he felt so nostalgically relieved that she was courageous, feeling some sort of strange pride. She probably was never this courageous. Hilary now couldn't miss a new chance given to her to confess her feelings. "I love you! Ever since First years, ever since our first fake date, ever since you veiled me from Daniel, ever since Freshers!" she said recalling events in sequence,
Kai left her hand and Ryan slightly gasped in worry and pondered.
Hilary wiped her tears and quieted herself. She stood up and breathed in. She was done saying everything and now it was his turn to say something or anything. Caught up in the maelstrom turmoil, feeling he still wouldn't say a thing with belief that he was lying to recognize her, she turned to leave,
Kai looked at her desperately to stop somewhat, and Tala just simply wished if she was done with her thing, she could leave. He had no idea about the feelings between the two for now. Hilary sniffed silently,
"Hilary?" a voice called,
Hilary turned and looked at Ryan, "You will leave me again?" Ryan asked softly,
Hilary stood stunned and melted. Eyes widened and mouth agape, she ran towards him and hugged him crushingly and sobbed, "No! I will never leave you! Baka!" Hilary sniffled and looked at him closely., "Do you have any idea how much I've missed you? How much I cried, that I was ready to die to come to you! You hurt me so much!" She buried her head in his shoulder front, snaking her arms around his back and keeping him closely tight in the moment.
Kai smiled and he himself was shocked that Ryan remembered Hilary. Ryan delicately held Hilary's face in his hands and smiled fully, "I want you to be on my side. Always," Ryan's voice so gentle and filled with humbleness and feebleness that Hilary swore she will always oblige with this earnest wish of him. Hilary gave a meaningful nod, bobbing her head hastily.
"You can visit us anytime Hils, but till Ryan is completely fit, he's staying here, under my scrutiny," Tala mentioned, more conscious about physical health of Ryan. Ryan showed no signs of disinclination at Tala's statement.
"I can take him after that. Can't I?" Hilary confirmed, trying to be patient maturely.
Tala gave a nod. "Ryan is more like his brother. He can't simply let go of him now, so I hope that its fine," Kai added, understanding Tala precisely.
Hilary got up, "I will leave for now, take care," Hilary stood and gave a deep look to him. Kai and Tala stood in unsure silence what this was about.
"What?" Ryan said with some sort of hilarity, in a weak voice.
"Nothing, just can't believe that I got you back." She mumbled gratefully and walked out. Kai followed the suit.
"I will see you later," Kai said to Tala before he left.
…
Hilary looked serenely at the night sky as the breezes touched her skin and looked calm. The trees passed swiftly as Kai drove the car, swishing from them.
"So how was it?" Kai asked, he had to meet Rose actually at this time but he just postponed it, because Hilary knowing about Ryan was necessary first. Kai liked her to this point that he choose her happiness and Rose's ethereal friendship helped him more to ease his negative feelings in both ways.
Hilary looked at him, "I can't be happier anymore," Hilary said with a delightful sigh,
Kai smiled. "Kai…" Hilary said, "Thank you. Thank you so much for telling me about Ryan. You could have kept him hidden from me for as long as you've wanted but you still chose my happiness. Thanks," Hilary expressed.
"It's no biggie." Kai rolled his eyes.
"I'm sorry for being so rude to you. I apologize," Hilary said feeling ashamed,
"It's okay." Kai nodded, "Can you lead me to Grandpa. I wanna meet him," Kai glanced at her,
"Y-Yeah, sure, City hospital at Odaiba," Hilary mentioned.
Kai sped the car and drove little recklessly, but still Hilary didn't complained.
A few minutes later, they arrived in front of the large hospital and Kai parked his car in the lobby and Hilary led the way.
Kai was quiet the whole time and Hilary could feel that he was anxious internally. Hilary entered the general ward and there laid Grandpa on one fragile bed.
Kai stood still and lifeless in front of him. Hilary remained silent, giving him his silent space. Hilary herself was worried. She predicted that he should have been back from coma in few weeks but it has been few months now.
Hilary gave a glance at Kai. A tear slipped from his eye on his expressionless face. Other followed another… and it all poured. He was silent.
"Kai…" Hilary held his hand.
Kai heaved a held breath and sniffled slightly. "I can't believe I wasn't there when he passed out," Kai said in a low voice, feeling excruciatingly guilty.
"Yeah, I know," Hilary sighed,
"What did Docs say?"
"The same thing from past few months –'He will be okay in few weeks,' "Hilary mimicked their voice.
"Wait, let me talk to them," Kai said in a dark tone,
"Kai!" Hilary stopped, "Tyson already scolded them few days back badly. I don't think you'd do this," Hilary advised.
"But-"
"Be it, no use," Hilary shook her head wisely.
"Hmm…" I just wish I hadn't left Tyson THIS year. I could have taken the title any other time. Some sort of huge guilt and regret seemed to have hurled on his heart, like a thunder bolt he was feeling like some transformation, softness was overtaking him and he was scared that this was heavy for him to handle, he had dark intuitions and fear of not being courageous for something he might have to face. Suddenly Rose's smiling face came in her mind, Kai, I forgive you. How many people had he wronged and hurt? Through the years, he unwillingly left Hilary, his ego and cold demenaor took her away from him, he was wrong with Tyson, he had put a path of thorns before Ashlene by separating her from Tyson. Why was all those deeds which he never felt wrong were feeling so wrong and horrendously sinful right now?
Grandpa's frail face and closed eyes radiated with all the aura sending those silent realizations of offenses he has done. He had only cared for Grandpa and he never attempted to care for anyone, from the start. He was not like this, he changed, changed unknowingly after third Year of Championships. It was like Grandpa gone, even though not completely, Kai was slapped into some loneliness and real senses, there was a lesson for him to learn from this.
A/N: Okay, how was this chapter? Seriously? Now you all understand why Nyhan was lying all this way? I hope it makes sense. Ryan returns. :'D Told everyone that we will have perfect pairings, hopefully ;D Misty, you liked it? *twiddles fingers*
PREVIOUS CHAPTERS EXTRACTS:
(1) You'd holidays last month, why didn't you come! You're such an uncaring son, you know Ryan. Mom's so ill. She misses you so much. I've tons of patients to handle already at hospital. Couldn't you just think about me once?Mom once? ~ 19 hours ago. (LAST flashback part 14, Nyhan's phone message to Ryan,)
*Sighs*, Yes he was a Surgeon,(not some person to work in Tyson's company rather xD).
(2) "You idiot! Can't you complete your homework at time!"
"Look at Nyhan, he's your older brother, learn something from him!" (LAST Flashback part 14, Ryan's mom shouting at him when he was a kid,)
Uh yes, that's the reason he was being like over-scolding and criticizing Ryan during Freshers party. Another hint, because he's elder brother (not younger, like he lied to Hils,)
(3) "Yep, Nyhan," Tyson said as he changed his bed sheets,
"Sorry, I almost forgot to talk to you. Actually my mom didn't agree for that job when I said her about it, so I'd to leave," Nyhan said,
"No problem," he sighed, "Take care. I will talk to you later; have to go to sleep," He thumped onto his bed and fell into a slumber. (Chapter 39, Tyson's phone call talk with Nyhan about job)
Oh well, how come their mom was suddenly alive? That was a stupid lie he said to Tyson. And even Hilary didn't know. So as no suspicion come on him that he was a Surgeon who effectively carried out this misdeed in hospital in which Ryan apparently died, he lied.
(4) "I met Ryan once." Tyson said,
"Oh," Nyhan nodded, "Sorry, I took it in the wrong way,"
"It's okay. But your teammate was a very cheerful and kind person, really," Tyson smiled, guessing that Ryan was probably their teammate.
"Yeah…but he wasn't just my teammate, Tyson," Nyhan said with a sad smile,
"Huh?"
"Ryan was my brother…" Nyhan looked at Tyson clearly tearful suddenly. (Chapter 32, Tyson VS Nyhan battle, they meet first time. Nyhan comes to subtly note that Tyson knows Ryan already,)
Oh well, that's all lies that's why.
Okay, I've connected the dots for ya. OKAY, SO, Why Nyhan did this? Basically why? You may find answers in those phone messages of Nyhan to Ryan in Last Flashback chapter. Officially, I'll reveal it in Epilogue. See Kai is a better soul now, he helped Hilary, :'D Its called Rose's effect. XDD
