Author's Note: We have a new canon character for this project. I asked who should I do this week and the lovely people of the Durarara wiki discord. They chose him. So, here he is. I have to admit that this part came out rather nicely. He is definitely going into the main story. Next week, the final story is going to be a surprise. Look forward to that. I don't like any of this. Something ain't right here. Usually, I wouldn't give a shit. But it's gotten too big for me to ignore. There are three of them I don't trust.
Yumasaki Walker. Arrested for assault and attempted murder. He's been in jail for close to a month now. I don't like him. He just sits there in his cell. Never says a word. I can't tell what he's thinking. I know that he's up to something. Trying to plan a jailbreak, are you? Like hell you are. Not on my watch. You're going to be staying right where you belong.
He's not the only one.
Jimbo Aoko. They brought her here last night. They won't tell me what the charges are. I haven't been asking the questions, but I have heard the other officers ask. The higher-ups aren't saying anything. Something stinks about her. They just booked her and stuffed her in a cell. Usually, I wouldn't care about this. But something is off about her.
Then there's him.
Kan Denji. Arrested for murder. Everything about this guy looks shady. He claims that he is innocent. Sure, he is. Where have I heard that one before? I've seen the crime scene photos. Like hell he's innocent. And I Buddha himself. I don't think good old Kan's going to last long. There is talk about putting him on suicide watch. Personally, I don't give a shit. If he dies, oh well. That's one less scum in the world.
Those three aren't the only thing I don't like lately.
I have seen a couple of guys around the station watching some priest on the TV during their night shift. I have caught him a couple of times. He comes across as a pretentious asshole. I wanted to punch him in the face just hearing him talk. That bastard is clearly a fraud. I've seen his type before.
I made it back to the station. Looks like it's going to be another slow night tonight.
I don't like it.
