DISCLAIMER: ALL CHARACTERS BELONG TO CRAIG BARTLETT AND NICKELODEON!

OBVIOUSLY if a character appears in this story that is not from the show it's my own filler character or whatever.

Short chapter, just trying to get a feel for what I'm going to be doing with Arnie/Arnold/Helga/Lila/Wolfgang.

Chapter 6:

"Oh, Arnold, there you are." Lila chirped as he walked down the street, she froze when she saw Arnie was right behind him. "A-Arnie?" Lila stammered, fidgeting to fix her hair when Arnold rubbed his forehead. "I didn't, what are you, Arnold, you didn't tell me Arnie was going to be here." She tugged at her shirt some, giving herself a bit more cleavage.

"I didn't want him to come, he insisted that he wanted me to familiarize him with where the theater was again, saying he had a movie he wanted to see that should be out now. So here we are…" Arnold groaned as the three stood outside the ticket booth.

At that moment, Helga, Rhonda and Phoebe rounded the corner, laughing it up. As they walked toward the theater, Helga was the first to freeze, her body starting to tremble. Her stalling made both the other girls look up, they blanched at the view before them. Arnold and Lila were talking arm in arm while Arnie looked around at the theater, or counting the cracks on the floor, or snorting. He was the first to look up at them, making them all feel instantly uncomfortable.

"Helga." Arnie stated, though it might have come out a little more boisterous than his usually monotone voice. He walked over to the three, making Lila and Arnold's attention snap up immediately.

"Look Bud, how many times do I need to tell you, you creep me out? Now get lost chump, before I make you get lost." Helga growled from behind Rhonda and Phoebe.

"Ew, I think he breathed on me…" Rhonda whispered. "His aura is almost as disgusting as Curly's I feel faint!" The diva proclaimed, bringing her hands to her chest as if to shield herself from a horrible creature.

"Are you going to see a movie, Helga? Which one, maybe we can all go in together…" Arnie suggested.

"Arnie you said you were just here to check out the theater." Arnold suddenly piped in, Lila had instantly got closer to him once Helga was in view, her breast pressed against his bicep. When he got a full view of her he had to double-take, she looked amazing.

"The movie I want to see is here." Arnie stated flatly. Arnold rolled his eyes, of course it was.

Rhonda to the rescue it seemed. "Well we're going to go see a chick flick so please just run along Arnie, I hardly feel you'd wish to waste time with The Ugly T-"

"Truth?" Rhonda was cut off by Arnie and Lila simultaneously.

Lila giggled, and Arnie's face stayed unchanging. "A matter of fact that is exactly the movie I wanted to see, girl." Arnie chimed.

"That is just ever-so weird, that's the same movie me and Arnold have come to watch, isn't that right Darling?" Lila purred. Arnold nodded, but his twitching brow proved he didn't like this at all. But did he feel uncomfortable because Lila and Arnie were going to be around one another, or because Arnie was still all over Helga?

"Then it's settled. 6 Tickets to, The Ugly Truth." Arnie declared. Making everyone except Lila put on a less than happy face. He suddenly moved his hands, grasping Helga's so fast she didn't have time to react. Rhonda and Phoebe looked back apologetically, their first instincts when he moved toward them was to flinch out the way, leaving her wide open for 'physical contact'.

"Look, bucko, you have about 10 seconds to let me go or I will take off these new heels Rhonda put me in and bash your god damn face in." Helga snapped pulling her hand away, however his vice grip didn't lessen in the slightest. "Did you hear me, you country freak?" She tugged once more and to her relief she broke away. Phoebe and Rhonda promptly stepping in the way.

"Okay look, can we just buy the tickets and get this over with." Arnold growled briskly making his way to the booth since the line dissipated.

Once they all got their tickets and moved inside, Helga did her best to distance herself from Arnie, Arnold and Lila as possible. Much to Arnie's dismay the boy would have followed her more closely if Arnold didn't insist they stick together.

"We have about 40 minutes before the movie starts, let's go get snacks." Arnold stated heading over to the concession stand. Arnie and Lila in tow.

"Rhonda and I will go get the snacks, we'll come meet you at the arcade, Helga." Phoebe whispered, knowing being in another line with those three wouldn't be good for her.

"Thanks." Helga sighed quickly heading over to the games, pulling out her wallet. It was time to relieve some stress. She thought as she made her way to House of the Dead III. Grabbing a shotgun she purred and put in her quarters.

The time passed faster than Helga would have liked and she told Phoebe and Rhonda to save her a seat, knowing it would be like 15 minutes of commercials anyway. She didn't lose her last life yet and she wasn't about to waste her quarters. They nodded and left her to her zombie shooting.

"You're really good with a gun." The monotone words hit her like a brick to the face.

"What do you want you cretin?" Helga grumbled.

"I thought that was obvious, Helga." Arnie smiled, his crooked teeth making her stomach flip. He stepped closer to her, unable to concentrate she died in the game. Well at least she had the excuse to leave.

"Oh well seems I died guess I should join my friends." As she moved past him, Arnie grabbed her arm.

"Helga, I don't know why you changed so much, but it's not too off-putting." Arnie said, smiling as he looked her over. She felt dirty just being under his gaze so much.

"I didn't like you when we were 9 and I sure as hell don't like you now, get a clue and take a hike cow-breath." Helga spat. Arnie snorted and looked like he was going to say something else but he was pulled back, by Arnold.

"What are you doing, I thought you had to use the restroom?" Arnold growled. "Lila was worried you got lost so I came to look for you. Stop goofing around and let's go." Arnold grabbed his cousin and pulled him away, he never looked at Helga once, but she could see the anger burning in his eyes. Weird.

When Helga was able to think clearly again she made her way to the theater, finding her friends and sitting with them. They were seated far from the others which couldn't have been more of a relief. Recalling what happened before she joined them, Rhonda gagged in disgust and Phoebe just stated she was lucky Arnold showed up.

The movie was good, after it started Helga could even forget about her horrible encounter with Arnold's evil twin, Arnie and the fact that Arnold seemed to be avoiding her, which was more good than bad. When they left the building however, she couldn't have rushed her friends to Rhonda's red Porsche fast enough.

Arnold wasn't too far from them as they departed, hastily moving from view. Arnie had said he wanted to go home and insisted on going by himself, leaving Arnold with Lila. "I'm sorry our date got so weird, Lila."

"It's fine Arnold, despite the ever-so abundant interruptions from Arnie, and the others, I had an oh-so magical time with you." She smiled. Arnold sighed with relief.

"You don't.. still feel for Arnie do you?" Arnold had to ask.

Lila looked surprised. "Whatever could give you that idea, you're the only person I care for, Arnold. I more than like-you like-you…" Smiling as she used their childish quip. Afterwards she stepped closer to him. "I love you, oh-so much, Arnold." She purred, getting on her toes to kiss him deeply.

Arnold swayed after the kiss, his goofy grin spreading across his face as he picked Lila up in a hug. "Good, I love you too, Lila." He beamed. With that they headed into town, arm in arm.

When Arnold finally got home, he giddy that his night out on the town with Lila wasn't a complete bust. He jogged up to his room while pulling out his cell to see how Gerald was doing. It seemed sometime after the movie Helga and the girls split up since Phoebe was currently at Gerald's, which cut his and Arnold's conversation short. They were about to get a game of Strip-Study going. TMI for sure, but it sure helped Gerald's grades.

There was a light knock on Arnold's door and before he could say anything, Arnie came in. "I see that you're home, Arnold." Arnie said, then snorted. Arnold went to send him off but Arnie spoke first. "Just what is your relationship with Helga?" He asked bluntly, making Arnold choke on air.

"What the hell are you talking about, Arnie, Helga's a childhood friend, even you know that." Arnold started.

"You're finally with that Sawyer girl you liked so much, so why did you get in my business when I was trying to court Helga." He questioned, his eyes blinking.

"That wasn't courting that was harassing, I don't know how they do it where you're from but she didn't want anything to do with you." Arnold growled.

"Lila didn't want anything to do with you either, yet here you are, dating." Arnie added, leaving Arnold silent. "Exactly, cousin. Next time don't get in my affairs. I may be a guest living in your home but I am my own person, no matter how weird I am or how odd my hobbies are." With that Arnie left, leaving a very torn Arnold, he really needed to avoid anything Helga related, it was fucking with his head.

He laid back and looked up at his window, there were no stars but the night sky was still calming. He just laid there in the dark, until sleep overcame him.
