"Kirishima, we'll need to keep a sharp eye on him." She turned to the red head."I can take the night shift." The man suggested."You sure?""Of course, I'll inform ba- Prince Bakugou of the change." Uraraka nodded and Kirishima made his way to the tent.
"Prince Bakugou." He bowed his head.
"Ew. Cut the proper shit." He rolled his eyes.
"Alpha Chief Midoriya's wound had begun to fester."
"So?" Bakugou turned around with a face.
"Do you not know of the complexity of the situation?" Kirishima frowned, he had hoped Bakugou was more concerned for the man.
"I do."
"Then you know that you'll be responsible for an all out war." He gave a puzzled look.
"Sounds like fun." Bakugou smirked.
"This isn't fun. If he dies he and his allies can destroy us."
"Allies?" He suddenly was very interested in the information. He hadn't heard of this just yet.
"We just got a report on his kingdom. He has Allied with the Todorokis and the Almio's."
"Huh? The Almio's are on another continent." The prince scoffed in surprise, that's some serious connection right there.
"Exactly. That means he has a lot of power. The Todorokis are not ones to be messed with either.."
"I could care less about those broken fools." He crossed his arms.
"They may have less land but their warriors are strong."
"Fine. Make sure the brat lives." He snarled, turning back to what he was doing prior to the interruption.
Midoriya hazily thought to himself. He hoped Iida doesn't raid the camp, where ever his is right now. He could feel Kirishima's stare, he was very keen on keeping an eye on him. It was slightly uncomfortable but he was glad that he was being protected while in such a weak state.
"Can I get water?" He slured to the soldier boy.
"Ah, yeah." He quickly grabbed a cup of water and tried to sit Midoriya up but Midoriya did so himself. As expected of an alpha, independent. He allowed Kirishima to hold to cup while he gratefully gulped it down.
"Please get rest." Kirishima urged after he was done drinking.
"Yes. You rest also." Kirishima nodded, he will when Uraraka comes in the morning at least. Midoriya plopped his head down and closed his eyes, hoping for some sleep to fight the infection. Eventually, he did.
The alpha stomped toward the tent where he knew Midoriya rested. He hadn't visited the little brat ever since he cut him. But, he felt obligated to check on him.
"Leave." Bakugou ordered.
"Pardon?" Kirishima tilted his head.
"You heard me."
"You won't do anything rash, will you?" He hesitated, as loyal as he is to the man, he constantly questions his rationality.
"No." He sighed. Kirishima knows he's a man to his word, so he happily allowed him to enter.
He walked to the heated mess covered in blankets. The boy had his face all scrunched in pain while he slept while Bakugou peered curiously at him. Finally, the eyes disturbed him enough to wake up.
"Hello your Highness." He greeted breathlessly.
"Why are you acting all polite now?"
"Not invading land.. Not killing recklessly."
"Look at you. You're a damn dying mess right now and you still hold your strangeness." He barked back.
"I not die. I beat sickness."
"You better." He growled. He won't admit it but he knew a war with his people will wind up bad. It's already taking enough money expanding and warring with little countries on the continent.
"You watch me.. tonight?" He questioned. Bakugou hadn't even thought of it but it sounded like a better idea. Kirishima could use some sleep.
"Yes." He turned to the door.
"I'm taking over tonight's shift."
"Huh? But-!"
"But nothing." Kirishima sighed with defeat. Well, sleep did sound good. Who knew taking care of someone would take away sleep?
"Has letter sent?" Midoriya muttered.
"Yes. We have the reply."
"May I see?"
"They just said they'll wage war in two weeks if you do not return."
"That fucking... reckless council.." He mutter in his language.
"Didn't know you swore." Bakugou smirked.
"You understand?"
"I'm fluent in your language unlike you with mine."
"That's better then.."
"Go to sleep." He ordered. Midoriya didn't like being ordered around but sleep sounded really good, especially since he was interrupted earlier.
Bakugou grabbed the rag that was placed forehead and soaked it in the cold water and then placed it back on. You could see his face relax more as the coldness wet his face. Bakugou studied the tribal body, tattoos and scars adorned his body. There were dotted scars, 34 to be exact, why 34?
He noticed the alpha is surprisingly slim, he must be a recessive alpha, that could explain the abnormally sweet scent in some way. The body was incredibly adorable in comparison to Bakugou's larger more dominant one. He's larger than most anyways, being born from two dominant alphas.
His hand brushed against the bumpy scars. Quickly his wrist was caught, the lesser alpha took hold of his wrists. He stared at him wide eyes and alert.
"Were you eyeing my body?" He questioned. He was just trying to get some damn sleep.
"You have an interesting body."
"How perverted." Bakugou chuckled at the comment.
"What's up with the dotted scared?"
"Kill count."
"Someone as fragile as you? Yeah right."
"Truth. I've bloodied my hands for the throne."
"That's surprising."
"You can't expect to get the throne with clean hands and expect everything will go alright."
"Your nation go through a power struggle?" Bakugou tilted his head. As large as the kingdom is, it's shrouded with mystery.
"Yes."
"I'll question you about that later. Go back to sleep."
"You eye my body again? No thank you."
"I won't. Sleep."
"Y-"
"If you really don't want to go to sleep I can occupy your body." He smiles mischievously. Midoriya pauses, he thought about the words and it clicks. A small blush pops up.
"You mate alphas?" The thought amused him.
"I don't have preferences." He shrugged. Midoriya shook his head, his words sounded like a hormonal teenager.
"I sleep." He closed his eyes.
"You're missing out." Bakugou mumbled.
"You're not my preference anyways."
"Ah! You're awake!" Uraraka smiled and bounced over to him. Alright, no sleep. She went to him, kneeling down and placing her hand on his forehead.
"Well good news! Your fever broke!" Well, Midoriya still felt like shit but whatever. He remembered her dread filled face after discovering his wound was festering but now she's as happy as can be. That's a doctor for you huh?
"Thank you, Little one." He cracked a small smile.
"Little one?" She repeated in a deep accent.
"He's calling you a little brat." He finally noticed the cross-armed alpha lurking in the corner.
"No, no call such names." He waved away his words.
"Precious name. Good label, I praise you." He reassured her. In his culture the label is very good, like an acknowledgement of presence. It's hard to explain really due to the uniqueness, it's simply a deep sign of respect. She should be puffing out her chest with pride, she's been respected by a royal, but she doesn't know the meaning so it's alright.
"You know meaning?" He asked Bakugou.
"Its just little one."
"It's a sign of respect. She's been acknowledged by me."
"That's fucking dumb." He huffed.
