It was halloween one of Shelby's favorite holidays. And it just so happen to fall on a Friday this year. Andy, Matt, Kelly, Scott, Angie, and Shelby were all sitting at the lunch table eating and discussing the party. Angie's parents were out of town so they were having the party at her house.

"So Ang I know we set up a lot of stuff last night but do we have anything else we need to do?"

"Nope we are all good."

Kelly and Shelby hadn't really discussed anything about if they were going to get back together or not. She was just giving him room to breath after Ashley's passing. She was hoping to talk to him at the party.

Angie turned her attention to Scott. "You guys got the beer and alcohol right?"

"Yes we got it covered Ang. Just gotta go pick it up after school today. "

Shelby was picking at her food lost in thought. Kelly leaned closer to her. "Hey you okay?"

Kelly's voice brought her out of her thoughts. "Yeah I'm fine." She gave him an unconvincing smile and then went back to picking at her food.

Kelly dropped the subject and went back to his conversation with Matt.

After school Shelby followed Angie back to her house to get ready for the party. They park their cars in Angie's driveway and head inside. They head upstairs to her room to get ready.

"So has Scott asked you out yet?"

"No but I think he's going too." Angie started to pull out her halloween costume.

"Oh really?" Shelby grab her bag and unzipped it looking for her costume as well.

"Yeah he keeps dropping hints and I catch him staring at me." Angie begins to change.

Shelby loved the way Angie and Scott flirted with each other. They were absolutely adorable. "Girl sometimes you gotta make the first move. "

"You think?"

"Yes I do. Sometimes males are stupid and oblivious to what they want." They both giggle and finish changing. "We look hot."

They stared at themselves in Angie's full length mirror. Shelby was dressed as a sexy mad hatter and Angie was dressed as a sexy devil. Shelby pull out her phone and takes a picture. She then shoots off a text to Kelly with the picture asking where they were.

"So what's going on with Kelly and you?"

"Nothing." Shelby's phone buzzed and it's Kelly saying they should be arriving in 5 minutes.

Angie crossed her arms eyeing her up and down. "Nothing huh?"

Shelby sighs. "he hasn't been the same since Ashley passed and I don't want to push him."

"Maybe you should follow you own advise and make the first move."

Shelby glares at Angie for using her own advise against her. Shelby was getting ready to say something when the doorbell starts ringing. They both head downstairs and open the door.

"Hey Guys." There was Matt, Andy, Scott, and Kelly.

"Hey." They all carry in various beer and liquor bottles into the house and head to the kitchen to put it down.

The girls follow behind them to see what all they brought. "Damn you guys hit the mother-load."

"Yeah there's more in the car still. Plus Hallie and Heather are bring some as well. They should be here shortly." Matt finished unpacking the bags.

"You guys go get the rest. We will start setting up." Shelby starts placing bottles and putting beer in coolers as the guys head outside to grab the rest of the alcohol.

Heather and Hallie show up a short while later with more alcohol. The kitchen counters are completely covered in liquor bottles. "Jesus Ang how many people are you expecting?"

Angie just shrugged her shoulders. "I made it an open invitation."

Within the next hour Angie's house was completely full with teenagers partying and having a good time.

Shelby was on her third beer. She went outside to get some fresh air. She took a seat on the patio furniture and looked up at the sky. It was a very clear night and the moon was beautiful.

She hadn't even noticed that someone had come outside and sat down with her. Her trance is broken by someone clearing their throat. Shelby looks next to her to see Kelly sitting there.

"Hey Kel."

"Hey Bee."

"You having a good time?"

"I guess." Shelby could tell there was something on his mind. She was getting really good at being able to read him.

"Kel what is it?"

"It's just hard. Watching everyone drink and know what happened to Ashley."

Shelby sighs and place her hand on top of his, which was resting on his leg. "Kelly you have to keep living. Just because she is gone doesn't mean life stops. You are surrounded by all your friends and people who truly care about you."

Kelly turned his head to look at her. "I know your right. I'm trying I really am."

"That's all you can do Kelly. As long as your trying everything will be okay." Shelby gave his hand a squeeze. "Come on let's go dance."

Shelby goes to stand up but loses her footing. Kelly grabbed her hand and pulled her back to him. She ended up falling and landing in Kelly's lap.

Kelly raised his eyebrows. "You drunk already?"

"No Kel. I am not drunk. I just lost my footing."

Kelly smirks. "Whatever you say."

They sit there for what feels like an eternity staring into each other's eyes. But in reality it's only been maybe 30 seconds. Shelby felt her lips becoming dry. She licks her lips and Kelly's eyes dart down to her mouth.

She wants nothing more than to kiss him right now but she doesn't know where his head is at. "Uh maybe we should go inside."

Kelly was trying to not look disappointed but he knew he screwed up. "Uh yeah."

Shelby stands up and Kelly follows behind her. They head back into the house.

Kelly and Shelby enter the house from the back patio into the kitchen.

Shelby turns to Kelly. "Do a shot with me?"

"Sure." Shelby grabs Kelly's hand and heads over to the counter containing all the liquor bottles. Shelby grab a couple of shot glasses and pour both of them a shot of fireball.

Shelby picks the drinks up and hand one to Kelly. He then takes it from her hand. Shelby raises hers up. "Cheers"

"Cheers." They tap their shot glasses together and then throw the shots back. The fireball burning as it runs down their throats.

"Another?" Kelly nods his head and she pours them both another shot. After that shot they both grab a beer and start walking through the house watching all their classmates dance and drink.

Shelby smiles as her eyes land on Scott and Angie dancing together and smiling. Shelby taps Kelly and point towards Angie and Scott. Kelly just smirks.

"Finally."

"Oh I know. Scott won't shut up about her." They both giggle.

"let's dance." Shelby takes Kelly's hand and leads him into the crowd of sweaty drunk teenagers. They begin to dance with each other. Becoming more tipsy as their alcohol sets in.

They soon find themselves dancing provocatively with one another. Their body's completely smashed against one another. Kelly's hands would travel her body as she danced against him.

Shelby can feel Kelly's hot breath against her neck. God this man made her body feel amazing. Kelly's lips connected with her neck sending her pleasure sensors into overdrive.

Shelby turns around so she was facing Kelly. She leans up and whisper in his ear. "You keep doing things like that and I'll be forced to take you upstairs."

Kelly's hands travel to the small part of her back. He pulls her against his body. His lips centimeters away from hers. "Is that a promise?" His voice was full of lust and desire.

Shelby crash her lips onto his. After an intense make out session on the dance floor. They pull their lips apart both of them breathing heavy.

"Follow me." Shelby takes Kelly's hand and leads him out of the crowd and upstairs. She then opens one of the guest bedroom doors and pulls Kelly inside.

She pushes Kelly down onto the bed. She then goes and closes the door locking it at the same time. She walks back over to Kelly and straddles him. His hands immediately rest on her thighs. They stare at each other with lust filled eyes. "God your so hot."

Kelly pulls her down and connects their lips. He grinds his hips up into hers causing her to moan into their kiss. Any control Kelly had left went out the window. He flipped them over and their clothes were discarded rather quickly. Their teenage hormones taking over.

The next morning Shelby wakes up and goes to roll over but ended up rolling into another body. She sat up a bit to see who was next to her. Her eyes focus in on Kelly's face. He was still sound asleep.

She sits all the way up and that's when she realizes she had no clothes on. "Well shit."

"Morning." Shelby practically jump out of her skin because she thought he was asleep.

She quickly pulls the sheet up to cover herself. "Morning."

Kelly sits up next to her and places a kiss on her bare shoulder. "how are you this morning?"

"Hungover."

Kelly snickered. "Yeah me too."

An awkward silence feel between them. Shelby turns her head to face Kelly. "So uh... This is not how I imagined last night going."

Kelly raised an eyebrow. "And how did you expect last night to go?"

"Thought we would just talk. Not end up back in bed together." Shelby sighs. "Kelly what are we? We flirt all the time still. We act like we are together sometimes. I just need to know if..."

She was cut off by Kelly kissing her. He pulls away from her and rests his forehead against hers. "What do you want us to be?"

Shelby thought for a moment. "I want us to give this a shot."

"Me too." Shelby smiles at Kelly's response and he gives her another kiss. He wraps his arms around her and pulls her back down on the bed. She lays her head on his chest and listen to his heartbeat.

Why did this guy make her so crazy? Why was she pushing so hard for this? She has never been like this before. They both drift back to sleep for a few more hours.
