As Albus stood perfectly placed on his father's right-hand side slightly behind his parents and opposite his older brother. Albus tried his best to drown out his father's speech with any distraction he could find. To keep his mind from spiralling as he heard his fathers' words, he scanned the entire crowd in hopes of seeing his little sister. As he scanned the faces, he caught a glimpse of Rose stood between her parents in the front row with a look of discontent as her eyes darted around the crowd, Rose was usually so perfectly put together that seeing her this bothered seemed particularly odd. As he tried to follow her gaze, he caught sight of Scorpius talking with his father. Albus wondered why Scorpius wouldn't tell him his father was planning on coming before being struck by the idea that it was much more likely that Scorpius wasn't aware his father would turn up. Albus couldn't help but notice their conversation looked a lot less than friendly but despite the eye rolling and crossed arms Albus noticed Scorpius looked distracted as he frequently kept looking over his shoulder for something. As Albus' eyes scanned around the area to try and find whatever Scorpius could be looking for his eyes fell on Thalia who was talking to a large middle aged woman in a flowery dress with a lot of jewellery in her jet black hair and an aging man with thinning brown hair wearing a tank top and Denim shorts, Albus assumed these were Thalia's parents but the three of them looked extremely distressed as they worked there way through the crowds frantically looking for something. A looming sense of dread filled Albus as he wondered what was distressing all his friends and failed to find any sign of his little sister.

As his father's speech ended Albus and his family were ushered back into the headmaster's office. As his parents began discussing where Lily could have wondered off too and James promptly left off to find his friends Albus saw his opportunity to sneak away and find the group. As he made his way down the stairs, he ran straight into Rose whose perfect hair was beginning to come undone and the panicked look on her face clearly showed the cracks behind her perfect façade.

"Al! Have you seen Hugo?" Rose barely took a breath as she looked behind him almost as if she thought he might be hiding behind Albus. Albus' eyebrows knitted together in concern.

"No but I can't find Lily either, do you reckon they've wondered off together again?" Albus tried to keep himself calm as he reminded himself of the multitude of summers Lily and Hugo spent wondering off through the field behind the burrows.

"I don't know, Hugo usually tells us when Lily's dragging him away and there not usually gone this long…" Albus could hear the fear behind Rose's voice. "I'm worried about him Albus…"

"Come on let's go find the rest and see if they've seen them." Rose nodded as she followed Albus' suggestion and lead him down the stairs and out to the yard. As Rose and Albus reached the castle doors they caught sight of Scorpius who ran towards them.

"Have you guys…" Scorpius began but was quickly cut off by a frantic Rose.

"Have you seen my brother?" Albus could see Rose was getting more worried by the second.

"Or my sister?" Albus added to the end. Scorpius looked between the two of them in disbelief.

"Um no… I was actually just going to ask if either of you had seen Sienna."

"Sienna!? She's missing too?" Albus clarified.

"We were sat together during your mum's speech; I went to talk to my dad for a minute…" Scorpius was again cut off by Rose

"Your dads here!? … Are you okay?"

"Yeah, he turned up, I had no idea. But when I finished talking to him, I turned back around and she was gone, I've been looking for her, but I have no idea where she's went…" Scorpius continued glancing around as if hoping he might spot them somewhere.

"So, we have three missing people…" Albus clarified. As he tried to make sense of the situation his mind recalled Thalia's terrified expression and crazed searching during the speech. "Guys we have to find Thalia… somethings wrong here." It was at that moment that Albus caught sight of Thalia pushing through people with a panicked look on her face. Albus quickly rushed through the crowd towards her as Rose and Scorpius caught sight of where he was going and quickly followed him.

"Tha!" Albus grabbed her by the shoulder turning her towards him and holding her shoulders to keep her from running off. "Thalia what are you looking for?" Thalia took a few moments to grasp what was happening before answering.

"Violet, my sister. She went off to get a balloon and now we can't find her."

"How is it possible that there all missing?" Rose asked Albus.

"All?" Thalia asked confused. Albus remained lost in thought trying to comprehend the situation.

"Sienna, Lily and Hugo are missing too" Scorpius answered. Albus' mind was firing with 100 different thoughts and ideas and worries. Albus tried to tell himself it was just over-worrying, but he couldn't seem to shake an idea from his head. Before Albus could control himself, it slipped out.

"Do you think she could have…" The thought terrified too much to even say allowed. The thought that they could have been taken by the that vile woman or even her henchmen that they could be in danger right now was too much for Albus to comprehend. Rose's eyes widened.

"Do you really think…" Rose couldn't' finish her sentence

"We can't rule that out…" Scorpius hesitantly said.

"We need to find her now. If she gets hurt…" Thalia's eyes filling with tears pulled Albus out of his own thoughts and realised the severity of the situation they were in right now.

"Come on, we need to check the boundaries."

As they all ran the line of the border the fear grew by the second the less signs of them, they found. As the came into the forest getting towards the point, they'd started Albus who was out Infront began to stop. Behind him Rose, Scorpius and Thalia slowed too Albus turned back towards the rest of the group as the came to a stop next to him.

"I think we have to go outside." Albus struggled to catch his breath.

"Outside the border!?" Rose asked incredulously.

"Where we know for a fact a dangerous woman that wants to kill us, and her followers are?" Thalia looked at him in disbelief.

"Are you mental!?" Scorpius added.

"If Morana and her followers have taken them then they'll be long gone into the forest by now… we're wasting time searching here they must be outside the boarders." Albus urged.

"But if they haven't then we're putting ourselves at a significant risk." Scorpius reminded him.

"But if they are then my brother, your sisters and our best friend are already IN significant danger and we can't leave them there…" Rose began to tear up at the thought of the things that horrible woman could do to her baby brother.

"We have to take the risk we have to go now!" Thalia agreed. Scorpius reluctantly nodded in agreement. As Albus took a step towards the borderline Scorpius quickly grabbed his arm to stop him going further.

"Wait! Shouldn't we tell our parents, I mean it's one thing doing research in a library about a killer we've unleashed it's another when your families are involved… surely we should tell them…" Scorpius tried to reason.

"Scorpius we could already be too late we don't have time to find them and explain ALL this to them. We have to go now." Albus reasoned. Scorpius sighed in defeat and nodded as he followed Albus' lead and one by one the group stepped past the border. As the walked further and further into the forest the more they all silently came to the same conclusion of exactly where they were heading. As they one by one pulled the branch out of the way to see the clearing Infront of them the dread they were all feeling in the pit of their stomachs was confirmed.

The first thing Albus saw was the semi-circle of what seemed to Albus to be 20 or so men and women in armour holding swords, shields, daggers, whips, hammers and one Albus noticed even had a mace. As Albus' eyes scanned the line of warriors his eyes fell upon a tree directly opposite him tied to the tree he could see his sister, blood dripping from her lip and sporting what Albus could tell was going to be a whopper of a black eyes. Tied to the left of her he saw Sienna, a defiant gleam in her eyes which didn't match the blood stains on her clothes, the multitude of bruises around her body or the huge gashes Albus saw marring her arms and legs. To the right of Lily Albus spotted a little girl that he assumed to be Thalia's sister, with clearly forming bruises and slumped unconscious. Behind the tree Albus could see another pair of hands he assumed to be Hugo's. As sickeningly terrifying as it felt to see them all hurt and passed out what frightened Albus more was the red mist forming into a hauntingly familiar woman with a knowing smile glaring straight into Albus' soul.

"Well it has been far too long my little ones." Morana smirked wickedly.

"Let them go Morana!" Albus dared to speak up. His bravery was cut down with the frighteningly joyful cackle that came out of her mouth.

"Somebody's been doing their research! My sweets I don't think your in a position to make demands."

"What do you want." Scorpius asked. Albus couldn't help but notice his voice sounded more confident than Al's had.

"Don't worry about your little brothers and sisters over here, we don't intend to hurt them…" Morana began.

"You've already hurt them!" Thalia shouted a viciousness to her voice as her hands clenched to fists by her sides. Albus kept glancing at her out of the corner of his eye wondering if he'd have to jump in and stop her charging at Morana single handily. Morana raised her eyebrow almost impressed at Thalia's courage.

"Oh, that was just outright disobedience, if they'd listened and done what they were told in the first place this wouldn't have had to happen, a necessary casualty I'm afraid."

"go… to… hell…" Sienna spat out of her swollen lip. Finding the last bit of strength, she could muster to try to wriggle free. Morana turned to her smiled before waving her hand the man closest to Sienna who turned to her pulling his arm back and contacting the side of her face so hard it seemed to knock the last bit of energy out of her. Sienna's eyes began to flicker as he began his second punch into her gut. As the man rounded for the third punch Albus interrupted.

"DON'T TOUCH HER!" Albus screamed as the 4 of them all took a few steps closer. Morana raised a hand and the man immediately stopped his attack and took his place back in the ranks.

"Oh, the mouth on this one" Morana chucked turning to look at the damage the man had inflicted on Sienna. "Regardless, we'll have no use for them if you just co-operate with us, we can let them go."

"What do you want." Rose asserted.

"Simple my darlings, open my tomb for me."

"Don't … do... it" Sienna's voice was getting faint, but she'd be damned if she'd let herself give in to what they wanted.

"Fine have it your way…" Morana didn't turn back to her servants as she began to raise her hand to give the orders.

"NO!" Albus shouted, Morana held her hand in the air wavering as she waited to hear the rest of Albus' offer. Four henchmen closest to Violet, Lily, Hugo and Sienna had paused halfway towards them as Sienna flinched bracing herself for the attack, Lily screamed and Albus heard Hugo's cry from behind the tree. Albus took a second to look at the scene Infront of him and realise just how little choice he had as he noticed all the servants now looked braced to attack not just the ones at the tree but he, Thalia, Scorpius and Rose too. "We'll do it." He looked towards Rose, Scorpius and Thalia who had similar looks of helplessness on there faces. Morana lowered her hands as the servants returned to there semicircle.

"A much better choice." Morana smiled as stepped away from the semi-circle. Allowing Rose, Albus and Scorpius to take there positions next to their rocks, as the green, blue and red rocks began to light up Thalia's voice shook as she recited the opening incantation. The look of glee on Morana's face grew as the floor began to open. For a moment everyone stood still in position in realisation of what had just happened. It was Scorpius who finally took the first step forward and finally said.

"Okay it's open, let them go." Morana turned her eyes away from the hole and towards Scorpius as if only just remembering he was here.

"Oh sweetie … we're not finished yet." The iciness in her voice sent chills down Albus' spine. "You're all coming with me… unless…" Morana raised a hand again which caused Thalia to lurch forward.

"NO! we'll come!" She cried barely taking her eyes off her unconscious little sister trying so hard not to wonder as to whether she was still alive.

"See, you my sweets are all much more co-operative than your siblings. Come with me then my darlings." Four guards seemed to appear out of nowhere one behind each of them holding swords to there backs as they made their way down the tomb Albus couldn't help but wonder if any of them would make it out of this alive. As the reached the threshold of the tomb Rose's mind was spiralling with different ways to exit, making a ran for it was stupid given they all had swords to there backs. Morana's hands began to trace the edges of her coffin.

"we'll be together soon." She whispered as she caressed the coffin with care. After a moment she suddenly turned sharply to Thalia appearing instantly Infront of her.

"Open it." She demanded.

"Open what?" Thalia's voice failed her and began to crack with fear.

"DO NOT WASTE MY TIME FOOLISH GIRL" Morana edged even closer to her in a fury her voice now so close Thalia began shaking and had to close her eyes and avert her face.

"I don't know…" Thalia muttered.

"DO NOT PLAY WITH ME! I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL BURN IT ALL DOWN NOW OPEN IT!" The mist woman screamed. The fear seemed to unlock something in Thalia whose eyes began glowing gold and she began reciting a familiar incantation the rest of the group had heard that first night Thalia had been processed to come to the tomb. As the room began to shake and pieces of debris began to crumble Scorpius leaped at Rose shielding her back as Rose braced herself. Albus put his hands-on top of his head to shield himself as he cried out.

"THALIA!" the rumble of the wall splitting into two was becoming deafening. As Thalia recited the last word the noise began to settle, and the guards quickly resumed their positions behind the group. Albus took note of his surroundings and found the two pieces of wall that were cracking had come apart and Morana was making her way towards the hole. The guard behind Albus jabbed his sword sharply into Albus' back to indicate that he should step forward. As Albus walked into through the hole in the wall followed by Rose, Thalia and Scorpius he noticed the room looked entirely normal, much the same as the rest of the tomb, expect for the tall plinth against the back wall. The plinth was covered in cobwebs the stone cracked and faded over time apart from the top of the plinth which had a circular shape etched into the top. Morana's scream broke Albus' attention away and back to Morana who was examining the plinth in anger.

"WHERE IS IT!?" She screamed. "IT'S HERE IT HAS TO BE! FIND IT!" She demanded to her guards who left their positions behind the group to help her search the empty room. Albus had got so distracted with what Morana was looking for he barely noticed Rose pulling his arm backwards as they quickly and silently walked backwards until they were out of the hole in the wall.

"Thalia now!" Rose urged. Thalia's eyes glowed gold as she began reciting the closing incantation which ignited the attention of Morana and her guards.

"GET THEM YOU FOOLS!" Morana demanded. As they started towards the door Rose quickly grabbed her wand from her back pocket and in a quick movement cast a shielding charm in front of the opening.

"Quick Thalia!" Scorpius urged unsure how long Rose could keep it up as the hole close so thin Rose was confident the guards couldn't squeeze through; she lowered her charm. As Thalia recited the last word, they all sprinted as they heard Morana's scream and the tunnels began to shake again. Albus doubted any of them had ever run this fast especially since they could hear Morana's followers breaking free as they climbed quicker up the ladder than they ever had. As the reached the sunlight it took a few moments for the remainder of Morana's guards to respond to the group still waiting for Morana to follow them. Rose used this moment of confusion to cast bombarda maxima causing a huge explosion knocking many of her servants to the ground. Scorpius working on instinct grabbed a sword dropped by one of the grounds and in one sharp slice cut the ropes binding Lily, Hugo, Sienna and Violet to the tree. As they were released Scorpius quickly caught an unconscious Violet in his arms as Albus ran to Sienna who had collapsed to her knees and put his arms around her to steady her as he brought her to her feet. Thalia put her arms around Lily's waist to support her and Rose let her brother use her shoulder for support as he limped. The group were significantly slowed down by Hugo, Lily, Violet and Sienna and as they reached the Hogwarts border Morana's followers began to close in but as they one by one stepped over the border they noticed the followers halt at the border line and realised to their relief they couldn't come over. They had made it.
