Chapter 1:
Autor's note: Hello guys, since I am an idiot, I forgot to write in the prologue the settings of this series, it basically takes place 10 years after ToA with some minor changes here and there, for example both Helios and Selene are alive and can have demigod children and Apollo has replaced Dyonisus as camp director. Regarding uploads I intend to post new chapters every week, but I might skip a week or two depending if my schedule is too busy. Anyway, let's dive right in!
Clio gave a careful look at the building in front of her, it looked right the kind of building she was looking for: old, majestic and surely the place where she could find the kind of riches, she needed.
Slowly but surely she made her way to the front door, as she looked at the lock closing the door, she grunted: "Damn, a deadbolt lock? What the hell is in this house?" She closed her eyes and focused about storms and rain, suddenly, she felt a small shock run through her fingers and when she reopened her eyes, the lock was on the ground.
She smiled, for as long as she could remember she was able to know the inner workings of any kind of lock and how much force she needed to use to pick them, it was one of the only good things she had received from being related to the Greek god of thieves.
She frowned as she remembered the stories her mother had told her when she was little, about her supposed grandfather Hermes and how he stole a bunch of cows when he was a only a day old, at the time she thought those stories were a bunch of inventions, now she wished she had taken notes.
As she entered the old and dusty house, she looked around for anything that could be remotely valuable but the only thing she found was an old a mirror, too big to be stolen but just the right size so that Clio could get a full picture of herself.
She was wearing a old checkered red shirt and a pair of jeans, her fluent black hair was covered by a winter cap, and her sky blue eyes were hidden by a pair of sun glasses, after her mother passed away, Clio quickly realized that someone with her looks attracted way to much attention for her liking so she usually tried to cover as much as possible her traits.
After looking around through the entire ground and first floor, Clio quickly realized that, if there was something remotely valuable in the house it must have had been on the 2 and last floor of the mansion.
While Clio made her way to the set of stairs that would have brought her to the 2 floor, she heard a loud hissing sound but she dismissed it as just another sign of the decadency of the house and finally reached the 2 floor.
As she laid her eyes onto the 2 floor, she gasped, the entire floor's inner walls had been totally demolished, resulting in tons of small piles of debris lying in the ground and in the center of the giant room, sitting on top of a big pile of golden coins and items there was a big snake with a head on each end of its extremities.
As soon as the snake saw Clio, its eyes lightened up and opening it's 2 mouths it spoke: "Welcome." It hissed with a voice that made Clio shudder: "I was awaiting you, daughter of Zeus."
