"And END raged on, aflame and monstrous, no longer the sweet kind boy she'd once known, once loved. A chuckle, despite the flames around them, left her lips, no not once, part of her still cried over his blackened heart. Centuries later every day that small part of her mourned the loss of her only lover. Fires could be started from embers.
Loud and thundering roars filled the air around them. Lucy looked over to Jelull, his brows were furrowed in concentration, magic spilling from his palms. The fight was not one they would win, Lucy wasn't sure if she even wanted to.
She could see Gray and Erza, back to back as she and Jellul were, inky black swirled along greys arms and Erza's armour was cracked and broken. Gajeel and Levy, Mira and Lauxes, Freed, Bixlow. Sting and Rogue So many fought in the flames around her.
Flicking her whip Lucy turned to focus on what was ahead of her, ragged winged demons screeched in the red air above them, purple scales glistening in the flicker of the flames surrounding them. One bellowed a gush of flames that Lucy was a second too short of avoiding, her one good arm crumpling as the skin crinkled and burned. Her heart dropped. There was no hope.
'we cannot win' she whispered, more to herself than to the man whose back pressed against hers.
A dark laugh left Jelull and for a moment Lucy saw the man who'd murdered hundreds, 'when has that stopped us before?' he grinned, another shot of flames had Lucy pulling them both down, 'stick to the plan, do not lose your faith now Lucy'
She had lost her faith long ago.
With a cry that could only be described as broken Lucy charged, it was now or never, the others took their signal charging on with her. It was time to end this.
Demons and dragons fell alike, mages and Fairy's too, Magnolia turned to ruins, rubbles streets, Fairy tail flag ragged and ripped underneath all the rubble. Nobody knows how long they changed for, that night that end rouse again. Nobody knows what happened when they faced with end."
Nobody but Lucy Heartphilia and END. This is their story. I will leave the rest for the stars to tell.
