After falling asleep on Bruce's arms it was no surprise that Felicity overslept. Even though it was a Saturday and she usually slept in, the whole Slade thing made the team work overtime to try to catch him before he hurt anyone. And so the team had decided to meet in the lair at 9. Last night the last thing on Felicity's mind was to turn on her alarm, so when she turned around to check the time she was as late as she suspected.

Feeling heat radiating from behind her she turned around and faced the dark haired man that slept soundly by her side. She carefully got out of bed so she wouldn't wake him up and closed the door behind her on her way to the kitchen.

She smiled as she turned the coffee maker on and got some cookies from the cabinet. Last night had been amazing for so many reasons. Of course he was hot and smart and funny and really good in bed. But more importantly, he was real and he was hers. Her smile got bigger and bigger as she thought of Bruce and their night together.

She couldn't stop smiling. She always thought that when people said they couldn't stop smiling it was an expression or maybe they were exaggerating but thinking about Bruce and their relationship made it physically impossible for her to stop smiling.

She drank her coffee and ate her cookies while standing in the middle of her small kitchen, wondering if she should wake Bruce up or not. Either way, she had to go back to her room so she could get dressed for Arrow duty.

When she quietly walked into her room and saw the peaceful expression on his face she knew she couldn't wake him up. Much like Oliver, she was certain Bruce had many demons haunting him and she could bet most of his nights were restless, spent either on chasing criminals or playing the role of millionaire playboy.

The world thought they knew Bruce because he was on magazine covers and giving "inside" interviews to talk shows but all they really knew was the image he wanted them to know. Felicity took comfort on the fact that she knew the real Bruce and that he wanted her to actually know him.

Choosing a colorful dress and some comfortable shoes she got everything she needed from her room and went to her bathroom to get ready. Usually she would dress up in her own room and she didn't have any problem getting dressed in front of Bruce but she knew there was a chance she would accidentally wake him up and that's the last thing she wanted to do.

Once she was ready to go to work she got a bright pink post it and wrote him a message. Then she went to her room and stuck it to her pillow before leaving her apartment.

When Felicity arrived in the lair there was only Roy there training on a dummy. He quickly waved at her and went back to training. He was improving impressively fast and that's because he was focused on working hard and determined to become a hero.

It was no surprised that Felicity arrived before most of the team. She always arrived early to have some work already done when the others got in, so they could focus on the info she had already gathered and set a plan.

Felicity started her computers while happily humming a song and smiling like a fool. For some reason that was not so hard to guess she felt like the happiest woman in the world. Of course she wouldn't be crazy enough to say she was in love with a man she had met about a week ago but she couldn't deny he was making her damn happy.

The sky seemed bluer and sun shined more brightly, even her grumping neighbor who was always mean to her when he saw her in the building had wished her a "good day" that morning. And more importantly, she had a great guy that seemed to be just as much into her as she was into him. He was so attentive and caring and honest that most of the time she thought he was too good to be true and soon enough the other show would drop. But for now she would enjoy it for as long as it lasted.

It wasn't for another hour that Oliver arrived. Roy had just left to go to the coffee shop two blocks away to buy them breakfast and have a break from his workout.

"So, any news on Slade?" Oliver asked coldly.

She turned around on her chair and pushed her glasses up her nose, "Good morning to you too. And to answer your question, things are progressing pretty well and I should have a location for you by tonight. Maybe it's time to start planning what to do."

He nodded quietly, his face a mask of indifference. There was apparently something bothering him but stubborn as he was there was no way to find out what was going on unless he wanted her to know.

She watched him as he looked at her with a neutral expression, "We'll wait for the others to get here and then we can start talking."

Oliver turned around, heading to the salmon ladder, when she saw him shake his head, change his mind and turn back around.

He marched towards Felicity, finally showing some emotion, though it was probably anger, and finally asked what was obviously bothering him, "You came to my club last night with Bruce Wayne?"

"How do you know that?" She responded with a question, then added, "Did Diggle and Roy tell you that? I can't believe them!" she said disappointed on her friends.

"Diggle and Roy knew?" he questioned, his voice getting louder.

She frowned, "What's the big deal? You knew we are dating," she pointed out, referring to their talk the day before.

"I didn't think he would parade you around in my club like a shiny new toy!"

Felicity put her hand on her hips and pursed her lips, clearly showing she was angry at his accusation, "I told you we were going public soon and it was my idea for us to meet at Verdant. I had to work on finding Slade and he wanted to spend time with me, so I tried to make the best out of the situation."

"Why would you do that?"

"Last I knew Verdant was a public place. Besides, having Bruce here is good publicity for the club; you should be thanking me."

"I don't think so."

"Well, you just have to deal with it. Besides, you need to focus on Slade today. If I'm right we'll have his location in a few hours and will have to strike by night fall."

They both heard Roy opening the door and climbing down the stairs, which broke the silence.

"Fine," Oliver said before turning around and walking to the matts. As he passed Roy, he said, "Roy, you're training with me now. Come on."

Roy walked to Felicity to hand her breakfast and raised an eyebrow at her, confused by Oliver's behavior.

"He knows Bruce came to Verdant last night."

"Oh, man! Couldn't you wait until Digg or Sarah got here to tell him? Now he'll make me his punching bag."

Felicity raised by hands, "I wasn't the one to tell him." She paused, then added, "But I may have mentioned that you and Digg knew; my bad."

"Come on, Roy!" Oliver shouted from the matts and Roy groaned turning back.

"You own me one, Blondie!"

Diggle and Sarah arrived not long after and Roy was extremely grateful that he wasn't the only one who had to put up with Oliver anymore. They were all working separately, either training, working out or sharpening their arrows when Felicity's phone rang loudly.

"Sorry, guys!" she said before turning around and quietly answering her phone.

"Hey, sleepyhead," she greeted Bruce.

"Hey, beautiful. I didn't expect to wake up alone. That's how you treat every man you invite to your place?" he joked and then turned a little more serious, "You could have woken me up."

She smiled, "You looked so peaceful; I just didn't have the heart to wake you. Besides, there was no reason to wake you up when I had to come to work."

"About that... is there any chance we can have lunch together? I haven't kissed you good morning yet."

She chuckled, "Sorry but I'm going to have lunch with the guys so we can discuss some ideas. How do you feel about an early dinner? I will have to come back to work afterwards."

He sighed dramatically, "If that's my only option..."

"I will even let you choose the restaurant," she laughed.

"I'd rather stay in today. After last night's public appearance going to a restaurant today wouldn't be the best idea."

"Hmm... I don't know if you noticed but there is no food in my place."

He chuckled, " Yeah, I've noticed. And I loved the note on your pillow," he said before reading it, "Had to go to work. Help yourself to coffee and pop tarts. Call me."

"It was a small post-it," she defended herself, "I couldn't write long sentences."

"Anyways, we could order room service in my hotel. I think you're closer to my hotel than your apartment anyways."

"That's a good idea. Can we meet around seven?"

"Sure. I want to go over some business that will be happening this week at Wayne Enterprises with Mr. Fox; he's the one handling business in Gotham while I'm here."

"Okay, then. I'll see you later."

"Oh, by the way... Have you had the chance to see Page A today?"

"No... why?"

"Well, maybe you should. See you later, beautiful," he said before hanging up.

Five seconds later Felicity was on Page A's website and her shocked scream resonated through the lair, "Oh my God! I'm on Page A!"

The rest of the team got closer to look at the pictures of Felicity and Bruce that were on the famous Page A.

Felicity fell on her chair, still in shock. "When I said we would go public I thought it meant not hiding our relationship, I didn't expect to have our pictures everywhere."

"How did you think I found out about you guys being on Verdant last night?" Oliver asked.

"The way you were acting I thought it best not to ask; but I certainly didn't expect it to be because you saw us on Page A!"

"Hey man," Roy called Digg, "I think that's us on that picture talking to them," he pointed to a picture on one of the screens, smiling.

"How about we have lunch now?" Diggle suggested.

Sarah nodded, trying to break the tension, "I think it's a good idea. Come on, Oliver. Let's go buy some pizza and drinks for everyone," she said pulling him to the door.

Roy grabbed his cell and walked to the stairs, "I have to call Thea. She's gonna freak that I was with you and Bruce last night and I didn't tell her."

Once it was just Felicity and Diggle on the lair, he walked to her and put a hand on her shoulder, before sitting on a chair in front of her, "You may be a little shocked right now but deep down you knew how it would be with the press."

She sighed, "I know. I just didn't expect it to be Page A so quickly! I thought it'd just be a few picture on some laughable gossip magazine."

The man she saw as a big brother smiled at her, "Bruce's and Oliver's world are the same, you know how it works. It's all about image, money, prestige and your last name. It's not the world that best fits you but you've had glimpses of it because you are Oliver's EA. The difference is that Bruce invited you into his world as his girlfriend. So, the question is, 'Is he worth all this trouble?'"

"Absolutely," she answered instantly.

Diggle smiled bigger, "Then don't let anyone bother you about it. Last night he looked at you as if you had hung the moon and you were smiling like a fool all night. Just let yourself be happy. Believe me, there will be bigger problems along the way to get you twisted in knots; this is not one of them."

Felicity stood up and threw her arms around Diggle, hugging him tightly. "That's exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks."

During lunch no one mentioned Felicity's relationship or her appearance at Verdant the night before. Instead, everyone focused on the plan to catch Slade. After following the money for a couple of days Felicity found out that Slade was working from a abandoned mansion that had been on the market for a decade before it was sold about a year ago. The mansion was huge but a little ways from the city and the fact that it was abandoned for so long made it hard for any family to want to buy it. But for someone on a mission it was perfect; spacious, reclusive and didn't call anyone's attention.

Once she had pinpointed Slade's GQ, Oliver had called ARGUS. Although Team Arrow was good enough to catch Slade there was nothing they could do with him once they had Slade in their custody. No prison would hold Slade and they had voted not to kill anyone anymore.

Once Oliver made the call he found out that ARGUS had been tracking Slade for months without success and that they would be more than willing to take Slade away form Team Arrow's hands and throw him into the prison they had built on the island.

After Slade's destiny was settled, the team started to plan what would be the most efficient way to subdue Slade. Obviously he had people working for him and it wouldn't be easy to invade his mansion. Not only that but the mirakuru made him too strong for anyone to go one on one with him. After a lot of discussion, throwing ideas and suggestions around, it was decided that the four of them would all try to neutralize the guards that were on the outside and once inside, Oliver and Sarah would go after Slade while Roy and Diggle would handle the other wouldhelp them through the coms.

By the time they had gone over the details it was already after six. The team had agreed to have a couple of free hours before meeting back at the lair to start the mission. This would be their most important mission so far and they needed a moment for themselves before putting their lives in danger like that. Felicity could feel the tension in the lair and was suddenly grateful she had someone to go to and try to relax for the next couple of hours before coming back. She just grabbed her purse and left the lair, saying a "See ya," on her way out.

At ten to seven Felicity knocked on Bruce's hotel door and was relieved to see his smile when he answered it.

"Hey, I've missed you today."

She walked into the room and closed the door before hugging him tightly. She had already learned that people could take pictures of them when they least expected it so she was learning that she really enjoyed staying in.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, "I've missed you, too."

He kissed her hair and went to serve her a glass of wine but she stopped him, "No, I still have work to do tonight and I have to be on my top game."

He nodded in understanding and served her a glass of soda instead. He handled her the glass and walked her to the couch, "I haven't ordered anything yet. Do you have any suggestions?"

"What's on the menu?"

"Whatever you want. If they can't cook it then we'll just order in."

"Then I'd love a stake and some French fries."

He chuckled, "I believe the five start chef in the hotel will know how to cook that," he said as he dialed the reception and ordered just what Felicity had asked. He watched as Felicity took her shoes off and got more comfortable on the couch, loosening her pony tail.

"How was your day?" she asked once he had ended the call.

"Boring. Mr. Fox caught me up with what is going at Wayne Enterprise as well as Gotham. There aren't any criminals in Gotham that the police can't handle right now. Th company is going well overall..."

"But?"

"But when there are pictures of me kissing an employee of a competing company the stocks are not impressive."

"Oh, no! You're losing money because of me?"

He chuckled, "No, I'm losing money because the market is delicate. I've lost money when I set the mansion I lived in on fire after throwing out all guests, who just happened to be Gotham's elite, during my birthday party."

"You did what?"

He chuckled again, "That's a story for another day. But back to the stocks, they will go back up once everyone understands that I'm serious about you, so don't worry." He brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, "What about you? How was your day?"

She sighed and threw her head back, "It was a long day."

Felicity had just started to tell him about looking at their pictures on Page A when room service arrived. During dinner she told him more about her day and he told her about his unforgettable birthday party that was all over Gotham's news for weeks.

Once dinner was over Bruce looked at her curious, "There's something I've been meaning to ask you. How did you find out that I was Batman?"

Her eyes sparked, "It wasn't that difficult to put things together. Batman obviously had a lot of money. Not only did he send me a bottle of really good and expensive wine but he also has a Bat- movel- car- thing... that must cost as much as a tank. All your crime fighting toys are pretty amazing and expensive. Also, you disappeared and was declared dead and soon after you returned, Batman was born. The timeline of what happened to you and to Batman was too perfect to be just a coincidence. The last straw was that Batman said he tracked my phone; it's untraceable. The only thing that made sense was that you followed me after our coffee date," she paused. "Besides, I know another vigilante and I can see the similarities... so, to me, it's like there was a bright neon sign pointing to you written 'vigilante'. I just didn't really want to see it."

He smiled, "Yeah, I can see how there are some similarities between me and Oliver. But I want to assure you, we're not the same."

She frowned and shook her head, "I didn't-"

Bruce smiled at her in understanding, "I know Oliver is Arrow. It wasn't all that difficult to figure it out and as you mentioned, we have some similarities."

Felicity sighed and closed her mouth, knowing it would be futile to deny.

"So, you didn't want me to be Batman?

She shrugged, "I like you. I didn't want to believe you were with me just to gather intel or something."

He frowned, "And I wasn't."

"Then why? You knew who I was from the beginning, before I even met you. You knew I worked for Arrow and you approached me as Bruce."

"I met you first as Batman, but I was intrigued about you, not the vigilante. You're an exceptional woman; beautiful, smart, funny, interesting. I wanted to know you better and that's why I approached you as Bruce," he paused. "Of course I wanted your help as the vigilante, and when I asked you as Batman you could refuse to help me and it would be fine. When I approached you I wanted the same clean slate, to know that if you were interested in me that it would really be for me and not for the vigilante or for the billionaire."

She shifted on her seat, "When you put it like that it makes sense. And it's cute."

He smiled at her and then groaned playfully, "Come on, not cute."

She smiled back at him before biting her lip and standing up, "I have to go."

"Back to work?" he asked and at her small nod he added, "What's bothering you? You're pretty tense and you've been working pretty hard on this thing with Arrow."

She shook her head, "It's just... This guy we are after.. he is good, I mean really really good. In a bad way. And he used to know Oliver, so it's personal. And tonight is probably the best chance we have to catch him, so this just has to work out."

Bruce became suddenly serious, "Can I help you?"

She shook her head again, "No, it's Team Arrow business. Besides, everything is in place; there shouldn't be any surprises. We'll just go, catch him and throw him in a super jail; easy peasy."

He frowned a little, "You're not going on the field, right?"

"No, I'll just give tech support and help them through the coms."

He sighed knowing there was nothing he could do since she refused his help, "If you need anything, just let me know; I'll be here waiting for you."

She smiled and put her arms around his neck, pulling him close and kissing him.

"Please, be careful," he asked and at her chuckle he added, "I mean it."

"I promise I'll be careful," she gave him one last kiss and grabbed her purse before leaving the room.
