AN: Lemons removed due to complaints.
A knock at the door brought her out of her trance as she looked over the city below her. Her entire back wall of her office was made of glass, giving her a panoramic view of Konoha. She enjoyed looking out at night and seeing the lights of the city. She hadn't been expecting anyone.
Her office floor was made of solid dark wood, the walls were decorated with light blue and green cherry blossoms. It was printed wallpaper however, it looked like it was hand painted. At the very far side of the room, she had a black wooden room divider with butterfly details. She used it to hide her light-coloured wood and black metal framed double bed. She often ended up staying the night for one reason or another, she figured it would be more comfortable to have a bed in her office rather than trying to getting comfy in a chair. She kept the bedding simple, opting for a silver thick striped duvet cover and pillow covers. The room divider also kept her two-door black wardrobe hidden which had a golden eastern landscape hand painted on it. She always made sure to keep a change of clothes, just in case. But it also kept her outfits for the bar, she had to look the part when she made an appearance. The room was lit by two sliver chrome chandeliers, both done in the three-candle bulb style with diamond effect jewel droplets for decoration. She had made it a home away from home.
She turned around in her wine-red leather chesterfield office chair with a solid wood frame. She looked over her mahogany executive desk, a computer sat to her right, a simple black phone and desk lamp to her left. She reached down to the first draw of her desk, opening it before resting her hand on cold metal as she called for whoever it was to enter.
A tall figure with midnight black mane, dressed in an equally black suit appeared.
"Is that how you greet a friend?" He asked as he stepped towards her. He was well aware of where her hand was and what it was touching.
"I wasn't expecting a visitor tonight." She told him simply as she closed the draw. "What do you need?" She asked, straight to business which seemed to cause the man some disappointment. She gestured for him to sit in one of her emerald green scalloped tub chairs which sat in front of her desk.
"Always about business, aren't you?" He asked, this time, smirking, choosing to stand instead.
"You don't get to where I am today without being all about business." She eyed him with suspension.
"That's no fun."
"Why are you here Madara-san?" She asked, fed up by his games.
"I wanted to have some fun with my favourite arms dealer." Madara told her innocently. "We could have a dance downstairs. Your bar is always so lively. Have a drink or two." His tone changed; it was his attempt to sound alluring. She raised her eyebrow and smirked.
"Not a chance. You know my work is my mistress." She responded and Madara shook his head.
"Yua-chan, you need to live life more." It almost sounded like a whine, not that Madara would ever admit to whining. She glared at him; he knew she hated it when he so informal with her. It didn't matter to her that they had known each for years, before their professions. Yua always expected to be treated in a formal manner and she would do the same for them. She wasn't in the business to make friends, she always reminded them of that fact every time.
"May I remind you that I'm a woman in a business where it's run by men." She stated. "If I show any weakness, I will be attacked. If I let my hair down to go dancing with you, I will be attacked because it'll look like I favour you. And if I am seen with you outside of this office in general, I will lose all of my clientele." She stressed.
"Well maybe I want you to lose your clientele and only work for me?" He suggested, again trying to sound innocent. Yua shook her head and stood up. As she did, she straighten out her black pant suit.
"I have told you many times, no." She walked towards him, her heels clicking against the floor. "Now, if you have business to conduct you may stay." She said rather sweetly. "Otherwise go." Her voice turned harsh.
"How about a date?" He asked, catching her completely off guard. He smirked as she seemed to pause, speechless at his suggestion. "We don't have to leave the room, order in some food..." He trailed off. Yua blinked and shook her head.
"I don't date my clients." She told him simply, taking a step back from him.
"What if I wasn't a client?" He hinted.
"I don't date mob bosses." She countered.
"If I wasn't a mob boss?"
"No, I don't think I want to date anyone." She then answered. Madara frowned, he seemed saddened by her statement.
"Yua-chan, you can't live your life alone." He told her, pretending to look sad.
"I have my work to keep me company." She told him as she sat back in her chair. "Now do I need to call for Kakashi-san?" She asked as her hand hovered over the phone.
"Fine, I'm going." He huffed and walked out of the room. He had never made her call for back up, the mere mention of Kakashi always made him leave. Maybe it was because Kakashi wasn't afraid to throw the head of the Uchiha family out on his ass.
Yua sighed and leaned back in her chair.
"You know if you accept his offer, he might stop." Kakashi's voice spoke down her ear. She huffed and pulled her ear piece out. She wasn't in the mood for his suggestions. She guessed that he hoped she would accept and then things would get steamy, and she would forget all about the microphones and cameras. Not a chance.
"Next time don't let him in unless it's about business." She spoke to the empty room, knowing Kakashi could hear her. She didn't have time for fun and games. She had run a tight ship, otherwise she was weak, otherwise she would be deemed less than a man. Even now, some people still thought about her as less despite killing off the competition, both figuratively and literally. She was at the top and she came down hard on anyone who tried to start up in her line of work. She had made herself the only arms dealer that could supply anything from anywhere. You wanted a grenade launcher from Russia, no problem, or an AK47 from the USA, done. She could import anything your heart desired. She wasn't going to let anyone destroy the empire she had built.
She had done all of her work for that night, she always scheduled one day to be clear so she could catch up on all orders and make sure they were running on time. She guessed she could change and join the party downstairs.
She only ever drank at her own bar; her staff would keep an eye on her. The only men who were stupid enough to hit on her were locals and tourists who didn't know who she was. She could handle them or Kakashi and his team would. Besides, as the owner, she had to make an appearance every once and awhile. She placed her earpiece back in.
"Turn the cameras off, I'm getting changed." She told Kakashi as she removed her suit jacket.
"Can't I have just one peak?" He teased her, but the look he received told him she was in no mood for jokes. "Cameras are off Ma'am."
Yua removed her diamond white blouse and black trousers, leaving her only in crystal white lace underwear. She opened up the wardrobe the other side of the room. She picked out a red velvet strapless dress which stopped just under her knee. It clung to her body, showing off her curves.
"Cameras can come back on." Her voice sang as she brushed her midnight purple hair through and put on some simple red lipstick. She already had her eyeliner done in her usual style, cat eye. She never left home without eyeliner. Lipstick she only put on for the bar. Kakashi wolf whistled down her ear, making her smirk. She put her stiletto heels, the toes where red and faded to black to the heel. With that, she left her office.
