Her room was large and had silver carpet, one of the only rooms she had carpet in. She had a soft lavender and grey sliver meadow tree wallpaper on one wall. The rest were painted a deep plum. Her bed was a modern four posted king size bed. It was centered against the meadow wallpaper. The frame was a four poster made from golden metal and the headrest was black velvet with two rows of deep buttoning. Sheer plum fabric was draped over the beds frame, allowing her to pull the fabric to enclose her in the bed. Either side of her bed was a black single draw side table with golden leg tips. The draw was decorated with a floral pink print. On the side tables were a matching pair of purple velvet and white marble table lamps. Opposite her bed was two large windows, each window lined up perfectly with the side tables. She had very soft lilac curtains with sliver floral details climbing up from the bottom, gradually thinning out and stopping halfway. Between the two windows, she had a glass table with a gold frame and legs. Gold butterflies were scattered under glass, it wasn't a table she used very often. Pushed underneath it was black fabric cocktail chair with large and bright floral designs and tiny butterflies printed on it. Hanging above the table was a simple gold framed rectangular mirror. She had a four-door black wardrobe set within a gold frame and a chest of drawers next to it that matched. They took up most of the right wall. Her light had a dark purple light shade with bright blue parrots, the background palm leaves were varied shades of the same colours.

She sighed to herself and changed into a large black t-shirt that almost drowned her and a pair of matching shorts. She pulled back her lilac rose bedding with white rose clusters, to find a note. She frowned as she picked it up. Her alarm hadn't gone off, if anyone tried to brake in, her phone would have alerted her. Nothing had appeared to have been moved. Now she wished she had taken Sai up on his offer. She reached for the gun she kept in her bedside table. It wasn't there. She took a deep breath and looked down at the note.

'I hope your arm is OK.'

She held her breath for a second, dropping the note. She grabbed her phone and called the only man she would in an emergency. The only person she secretly knew for years, the one who had inadvertently set her up in her business.

The phone rang for what felt like forever. She hid in the ensuite bathroom, locking the door behind her. She searched for her hidden gun. It had been moved. Someone knew where she had hidden her safety net, her guns. She finally found it in her laundry basket.

At that moment, the phone picked up. "Uncle, help." She whispered down the phone.

"Yua, what's wrong?" His voice was calm but with concern.

"Someone broke into my house but none of the alarms have gone off, the same person who shot at me. I think or they at least know how I was injured. They've taken my bedside gun and moved the one in my bathroom." Yua explained, keeping her voice quiet.

"You think they may be there still?" He asked and she hummed in response. "Stay hidden, I'm sending Kabuto to you." He told her and hung up. Yua faced the door as she sat in the bath tub, she pulled the shower curtain to help hide her. She held the gun tightly, aiming ready at the door. She listened closely, listening for any sound or clue who was in her home.

"Yua-San!" After ten full minutes of fear, she heard Kabuto calling her. She slowly stepped out of the bathroom. She hadn't even heard him enter, then again, this was Kabuto, her uncles' number two.

"Kabuto-san, I'm in here." She called out as she got out of the bath tub. She sat down on her bed and rubbed her face. Kabuto walked in and sat next to her.

"I found no evidence to say they're still here." He told her. "You need to be carefully when you call Orochimaru-sama. You don't want anyone learning about your family ties."

"It's not like I'm his daughter." Yua snapped.

"Even so, he treats you like one. You're his precious little niece." He told her and rolled her eyes at him.

"If that was so, he would be here instead of you." She sounded almost betrayed. "Besides I thought he might know who could get past his security systems. And who would take a shot at me." She then added with a sigh.

"He didn't if you're suggesting that." Kabuto got defensive and Yua shook her head.

"No, but he may know who would dare to do it." Yua stressed. "Just ask him to contact me if he knows. I'll call someone to stay with me." She added looking at her phone.

"Be careful Yua-San, Orochimaru-sama is planning something big and if anyone works out your connection, they come after you too." He warned her. "That's if they haven't already worked it out." He added before leaving, hinting the shotting may be linked to Orochimaru, someone might already know about them. Yua shook her head, no one would know, no one should know. They had always been careful and kept communication outside of business to a minimum.

Yua stared at her phone contacts. She wasn't sure who to call. She kept scrolling through them all, her mind kept wondering to her conversation with Kakashi. In the end, she called Kiba. Her reasoning, he lived closer to her, he would get to her quicker.

As soon as he arrived in his black leather jacket, he scouted the house out with his dog, Akamaru. They too found nothing. Yua checked all of her rooms, searching for her guns. She found them all in the end, they had simply been moved. Someone was trying to scare her. But unfortunately for them, she didn't scare easily.

She hugged Kiba the moment they had both finished. She needed reassurance and Kiba was happy to give it to her. He held her closely. She could feel him taking in her scent as his nose tucked into her hair. His hands were dangerously low, almost on the small of her back, stretching towards her bottom. She looked up at him as they hugged. Their faces were dangerously close. Kiba leaned down more, his lips brushed against hers. Yua paused, she didn't know what to do. Her arms were tucked between them, her hands flat against his chest.

"Yua-sama." Kiba's voice was husky and deep. Her breath hitched before he pressed his lips to hers. The kiss was filled with passion and lust. Kiba's right hand ran through her hair, supporting her head. While his left travelled down to her bottom. He held her tight to his body.

Yua slowly pulled away. Kiba looked down at her worried and confused. She hadn't told him no or pushed him away. He worried he had done something wrong.

"Before this goes any further..." She started, trying to catch her breath. "I need to tell you; I'm not looking for anything serious. If you don't want that then we should stop now." She continued, looking up at Kiba, trying to gage his reaction.

"Is there anything I can do to change that? Because I am very persuasive." He asked keeping his voice husky. Yua shook her head, biting her lip. "Are you sure?" He asked his lips grazed her neck before he gently bit down, lightly tugging at her skin. She let out a soft moan before collecting herself.

"Kiba-San, all I want is something physical." She told him, pushing him back. "I don't want to hurt you or lead you on." It had become incredibly clear to her that Kiba wanted her for his own. She should have guessed; he was very possessive over the smallest of things.

"Can I prove to you that I'm worth it?" He asked pulling her back.

"No." She told him harshly. "I don't want a relationship."

"You just thought that you could get a fuck toy, is that it?" He pushed her back. He always acted before he thought things through. "You thought that you could walk over me and get what you want?! Just because you're my boss?!" Yua shook her head.

"No. I called you because someone has been in my home, I called you because you lived the closest. I knew you could get here the quickest." She told him, staring him down. "I admit I find you very attractive and I let myself give in. It shouldn't have happened. It is my fault and you can blame me as much as you like." She told him, catching him off guard. He had never expected her to admit fault.

"Yua-sama, I apologise for my behaviour." He told her once he had calmed down, bowing. "Would you like me to call someone to relive me?" He then asked, he suspected his outburst hadn't gone down well.

"No, you may stay if you're comfortable with it." She told him before walking towards her stairs. "I'm going to bed, there's a spare bedroom next to mine." She added and went to her room.

Yua sat down on her bed, sighing. That couldn't have gone any worse. She lay down and curled up in her duvet. She couldn't wait for morning, well, afternoon.

When Yua woke up with a heavy weight on her legs. As soon as she worked up the energy to open her eyes, she saw Akamaru curled up on her. She sighed and pulled herself free. She fussed him as she got up, she always loved dogs but she won't get one. She worked too much for a dog, it would be unfair on the dog.

She quickly got ready for the day. Her arm still bothered her some. She chose to wear a light blue sleeveless turtleneck and a light grey oversized double-breasted military blaze, the arms loose on her wound. Her trousers matched the same shade of grey and wore black sandal heels. She left her hair down and quietly made her way down the stairs.

Kiba was snoring loudly on the sofa. It appeared that he had decided not to go to bed. She gently shook his shoulder gently to wake him. Kiba jumped up startled. Yua laughed and got her things together for work. Kiba didn't look very pleased but quickly got himself together and drove her to work.
