Yua was surprised to see three very important men in her bar. She eyed them all suspiciously. Something big had happened or was about to happen if they could all tolerate being in the same room with each other.
"What do I owe this pleasure for?" She asked walking over to the bar. She suspected she would already need a strong drink.
"You need to cut off Orochimaru." Madara spoke up from his seat at the bar. Yua raised her eyebrow and made note of the whiskey he already had in his hand. She would have to have a word with Asuma. But she guessed Madara helped himself.
"I'm cutting you all off until I find out who shot me." She pointed out as she walked behind the bar. "You all know the rules. You buy from me, everything you buy and say in my presence is kept confidential. If I get shot at, you all get cut off until I know who did it." She told them all. "Now why do you all think you can come down here and pressure me into only cutting Orochimaru off?" She asked as she picked up a double whisky.
"We didn't shoot at you; we all know better than that." A man with orange hair spoke up. "None of us did, that only leaves Orochimaru or someone outside of our circle." He then added.
"And why would he shoot at me?" She asked with her arms folded under her breasts.
"Because he wants you with him. He wants your contacts as he attacks Suna. With you next to him, he wouldn't have to go back and forth." A brown hair man spoke up quickly. Yua frowned, something he said made her think. Well at least she now knew where he was attacking rather than some other town.
"Hashirama-san, what made you think he wants me with him?" She asked, stepping towards his place at the bar.
"I have my sources." He answered carefully.
"Yua-San, this isn't something we are taking lightly. If Orochimaru manages to take over Suna, we will all be next. If you have us cut off, we are easy prey." Madara spoke up, taking the heat of her glare off Hashirama.
"I don't care what happens between you all, I'm just a supplier." She pointed out.
"You will care, his last order shows he wants to go to war!" Hashirama shouted without thinking. Yua stared him down.
"Have you put a rat in my organisation Hashirama?" She asked suspicious, she looked like she was about to kill. Hashirama swallowed nervously. "Get me Kakashi." She spoke up, she knew her staff were watching, they always were. The door leading to her office opened and Kakashi appeared.
"You called Ma'am?" Kakashi walked towards her.
"Orochimaru's order was written down, he didn't say what he wanted." She stated simply, looking over at Kakashi. She took her gun from inside her blazer. "How long have you been working for the Senju?" She asked as she checked her gun, making sure it was loaded, even though she knew it already was. It was more for show than anything else. Kakashi stood up straight and took a deep breath.
"Hashirama-san contacted me. He was worried about Orochimaru's recent activities. He was concerned that it may impact you negatively." Kakashi answered her. There was no point in lying to her. He just hoped she would make his death quick.
"You broke my confidentiality rule." She stated as she put her gun away. "I understand you believed you were protecting me." She added and stepped towards him. "For that reason, I won't kill you; you have provided me with years of loyalty, I think of it as a reward, I am letting you live." She told him; everyone took a breath. "You didn't do it to bring harm to me or my reputation." They didn't like getting on Yua's bad side, let alone witnessing her revenge. She would be just as cruel as she was clever. "Now, get your things and leave. If I hear even a whisper of my business leave your lips..." She stepped closer. "I will put a bullet in your brain." She hissed at him.
"Yes Ma'am." He answered and rushed out to collect his things.
"Anyone else have a rat in my amongst my ranks?!" She shouted, she was angry and feeling betrayed. She thought she had their respect, at least enough of it to keep them at bay.
"I was only looking out for you." Hashirama spoke up.
"Can it Hashirama." She snapped at him. "I have looked after myself fine for years, I do not need help from you. Stop making everything personal." She added, taking a swig of her whiskey.
"No one in your ranks are rats." The orange haired man told her. "I do not wish to lose your trade." He added.
"Pein, I hope for your sake you're right." She told him. "Oh, and tell Kisame to learn some manners." She added. Pein chose to stay quiet. He had already heard about the incident involving Kisame's brainless actions. He hoped Yua didn't take what had happened too seriously.
"How is your arm?" Madara asked suddenly, taking her attention away from the pierced man.
"Fine." She answered, she hadn't expected Madara to care. "Look, as soon as your paid supplies arrive, you can no longer get any more. I won't stand for being attacked. The same will go for Orochimaru." She told them, getting back on track to the meeting they had called without notice.
"How convenient for Orochimaru. He makes a very big order, I'm sure long enough to cover any cut off period and we have to suffer." Madara huffed, glaring at her.
"Oh, so whenever someone attacks me, I'm meant to lay down and take it?!" She snapped back at him.
"What's not what I meant and you know it!" Madara shouted back. Out of all of them, Madara was the only one who was brave enough to shout at her. It didn't often end well but it never stopped him.
"What am I meant to do then?" She snapped at him.
"We will figure it out as long as you keep supplying us." He told her, Hashirama and Pein looked at him like he was crazy.
"Fine, you have two weeks." She huffed. "Bring the one responsible to me." She added before storming off to her office.
"That could have gone better." Hashirama sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.
"It's Yua, she can get hot headed." Pein pointed out as he stood up from his chair.
"And how would you know?" Madara asked. He didn't know Yua and Pein were close.
"I went to college with Yua, she lost her temper once and since that day, I have vowed to never make her angry." Pein explained. "At that time, she didn't know me and I made sure to stay out of the line of fire." Madara hummed and nodded.
"Why do you care how he knows her anyway?" Hashirama asked, a small smug grin on his face. "You only knew her growing up because she was in the same class as Izuna and Tobirama." He then pointed out.
"I just want to make sure no one will be getting treated as favourite. That's all." Madara told them and shrugged, seeming not to care.
"If anyone is treated like a favourite, it's you." Hashirama pointed out.
"How so?" Madara asked confused. Although it sounded like good news to him.
"I think you're the only person she hasn't pointed a gun at." Hashirama told him with a wink.
"Or been physically kicked out by her staff on her request." Pein then joined in.
"She even lets you have a drink for free!" Hashirama shouted with a grin. "She likes you!" He added, acting like he had just cracked the case.
"If she liked me, I would have got in her bed by now." Madara mumbled. He thought he had been quiet enough not be heard but he was wrong.
"So, you do like her?" Hashirama teased and Madara rolled his eyes.
"She's attractive. I wouldn't mind having some fun with her. But she's turned me down many times before." He elaborated more clearly before leaving. Pein smirked and left just after him.
Before Hashirama left, Kakashi appeared looking upset. Hashirama signalled for him to follow him. He knew Yua had eyes and ears everywhere in the bar and in the streets surrounding it. Once the pair were safe from Yua's reach, they stopped.
"I'm sorry it ended like this Kakashi-san." Hashirama told him honestly.
"I don't think I could find another friend like her." Kakashi stated. "I can't believe I've betrayed her like this."
"You haven't betrayed her. You were trying to protect her." Hashirama pointed out. "I would like to offer you place in my family." He added, taking Kakashi by surprise. He had been a rat and they still wanted him in the family. "I've known Yua since she was little. She always thought she knew everything, she always thought she could handle the world and everything that it could throw at her. I am offering you a way of keeping her safe. We know Orochimaru has something planned. And I want the best supplier we've ever had, alive and well. And most importantly, in Konoha." He explained. It was all Kakashi needed to hear. He joined them.
