When got to the front door, she saw Madara swaying as he stood. She stood in front of him with her arms folded over her chest. She knew the two police officers would be watching them closely. Any false move would result in her being made. But what she didn't understand was Madara turning up pissed. He rarely if ever did this, if he did get drunk, it was at her bar at the end of the night. She wondered what could have possibly happened. "Uchiha, what is going on?" She asked confused, gaining Madara's attention. He looked up at her before rushing towards her with unsteady feet. She had to catch him.

"He's dead!" He shouted at her. Yua frowned and stood him upright.

"Who's dead?" She asked and Madara started to tear up.

"Izuna." He whispered and Yua sighed. She signalled for Sai to help her keep him upright. After everything that had happened, she had forgotten what day it was.

"Let's go to my office, you need to sleep this off." She told him as she and Sai helped him through the bar. They placed him down on the bed Yua had in the office.

Once Madara was settled, she went down to the bar. She needed to make sure he would have enough water for when he woke up. When she did, she was met by both Iruka and Anko.

"Interesting friend you have there." Anko stated.

"He's not my friend." Yua countered. "I'd rather he slept off the booze than shot the place up." She then pointed out. "Besides, it's the anniversary of his brother's death. I like to think I have some empathy for everyone. As soon as he's sobered up enough, he'll be kicked out." She then added, picking up a couple of bottles of water.

"Maybe, you're too nice to the mob." Anko snapped at her. Yua stopped and stared her down.

"I have known Madara since school. He was protected me from the bullies. I owe him some gratitude even if it is one night a year." Yua snapped back. "If you don't like it, then leave." She added walking away. She had no time to be spoken down to.

Madara had woken up as she walked into the office. He jumped her, trying to strangle her in his drunken haze. She had no choice but to kick him in the balls. He fell to his knees while Yua rushed out of her office, locking the door behind her. The two police rushed in behind Sai as he came to help her. They were obviously concerned as Sai was not one to rush anywhere. Yua slid down the door and tried to catch her breath.

"Yua-sama, how badly are you hurt?" Sai asked concerned as he kneeled down beside her.

"I'm fine." She wheezed ever so slightly.

"We need to arrest him." Iruka spoke up, getting his handcuffs ready.

"No, leave him." Yua told him as Sai helped her up. "He's too drunk to know what he was doing. Let him sober up."

"But what if he had killed you?" Anko stressed.

"He didn't. And more importantly, if he did get arrested, you'd be investigating my murder by tomorrow morning." She pointed out as she stood up. "I'll take a sore throat over that any day." She added before walking away.

She sat down at the bar and started drinking heavily. She couldn't seem to find the man she had danced with before. It saddened her a little, no doubt he had found some other woman to dance and most likely sleep with. Asuma watched her as she downed drink after drink. Eventually, he was forced to cut her off.

The next morning, Yua woke up with a groan. She was surprised to wake up in her own bed. She guessed Asuma or Sai had got her home in some way. Once she got her bearings, she got washed and changed into a dark emerald green suit. She wore a loose satin white shirt. Her neck wasn't too bruised, nothing that her hair wouldn't cover. She went down stairs to make some coffee.

"Morning." A voice chirped, making her freeze. She looked over to see Anko sat on her sofa with a newspaper. She blinked a few times, trying to work out if she was still dreaming.

"Coffee, Anko?" She asked.

"Already made, kettle should still be warm." Anko told her, holding up her own mug. Yua nodded, slightly annoyed that she had helped herself. When she came back into the living room, she sat opposite Anko in her armchair. "What are you doing here?" She asked confused.

"Your staff took you home and I came with. I wanted to make sure you were safe." Anko told her without looking up from the newspaper.

"You were very kind to Madara." Anko stated and Yua shrugged. "You stopped him being arrested for a drunk and disorderly, as well as assault." She pointed out.

"Like I said last night, I owe him some gratitude for his help as a child." She told her. "He has always struggled with his brother's death." She explained, shrugging like it wasn't a big deal to help him. "Izuna was in all of my class, even I miss him." She added with a sigh.

"Before he strangled you, you two seemed close." Anko and Yua shook her head, smiling.

"Hardly. Sometimes, being nice to mob bosses in a non-illegal way can help. They don't push so hard to get what they want from you." She admitted and Anko nodded.

"Ever been tempted to be really nice to them?" She then hinted at Yua who looked confused for a moment before catching onto what she meant.

"No, no way."

"So, you're not drawn to bad boys then?" She then asked like she was trying to hint something else. That's when Yua remembered about the man she had met on the dancefloor.

"If I know they're bad boys I don't want to know. But if they look like a bad boy and really aren't, I like it." Yua admitted. "Why?" She then asked curiously, she wondered if Anko knew something bad about the man she had met.

"Oh, no reason." Anko seemed to sweep the whole thing under the carpet. Yua sighed and decided not to question it anymore. She doubted she would see that man again anyway.

When she arrived at her bar, she saw Madara sat on a bar stool, nursing a coffee. She sighed and sat down next to him.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled without looking up at her. "A cop told me what I did." He added. "Warned me that if I so much as looked at you again, I'd be on death row." He added and Yua frowned.

"Iruka-san said that?" She asked confused. He didn't mean the type to say such a thing. Madara shook his head.

"He introduced himself as Officer Morino."

"Don't know then, must be a superior." Yua said with a shrug. "Is anyone picking you up?" She then asked and he nodded.

"Asuma is looking out for my nephew, he should be here soon." Yua nodded and said no more. Even if she wanted to say more, she couldn't be sure who else was listening in. She carried on her way to her office.
