When she entered her office, she found Anko and Iruka waiting for her. "Can I help you?" She asked, her pervious excitement now gone.
"Miss Kim, when you leave with people we haven't checked, you are putting yourself in danger." Iruka spoke up. Yua huffed and sat down at her desk. "This is serious, someone took a shot at you." He stressed.
"I fucking know!" She snapped at him. Silence fell between them. "But if they wanted me dead, I'd be dead already and you know it. So why are you really snooping around?" She asked harshly, she had had enough. She needed to get back to her real business.
"You are the only person we have ever known who is close to all mob families, let alone one." Anko started despite receiving a glare from Iruka. "We were hoping that we could find out if you were doing anything illegal."
"Anko!" Iruka's voice warning her to shut up.
"Iruka, she has a right to know, considering our new ideas." Anko countered while Yua looked confused. "Look, we were hoping you were so sort of illegal trader or something. That way we could use you as an informant instead of you doing jail time." She went onto explain.
"I don't know if I should be flattered." Yua said dryly. But she was also glad she had fallen under their radar.
"Our new plan would involve you willingly working with us..."
"Working with you how?" Yua asked with a sigh, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Well, we were hoping you would flirt with one of them, gain some sort of relationship with them." Anko started to explain.
"You want me to go out with them, that's what you're asking?" Yua asked in disbelief and Anko nodded. "You want me to effectively whore myself out so you can get the information you want on them?" She then asked with disgust.
"No, you wouldn't have to sleep with them, just get close enough to get within their circles." Iruka stepped in, he knew Anko would make it sound worse than it was.
"I think you're both forgetting something." Yua huffed. "I was in the same year as Tobirama, I was in most of his classes. This means I got to know Hashirama and then Madara through them. I basically grew up with the heads of two families. Don't you think they'll know something is off if I suddenly started flirting with them?" She explained to them.
"What about Orochimaru and Pein?" They asked her and she faked confusion.
"Orochimaru isn't a mob boss." She told them. "I think you have your information wrong." She then added, making them confused.
"We have a lot of evidence to say that he is." Anko stated and Yua shook her head.
"No way, I don't believe you. And as for Pein, I was under the impression he had a woman in his life."
"Pein has a wife?" Iruka asked, this was information they didn't have.
"No, he's not married as far as I'm aware, I've never seen a ring. I just always got the impression that he was with someone or at least only had eyes for one person and it didn't matter if they felt the same." Yua explained with a shrug. "I've never asked him if he was single but I've never seen him dance with a woman here."
"Would you flirt with Orochimaru and then you can find out the truth?" Iruka asked her hopefully but Yua looked like she was going to throw up.
"I am not flirting with my uncle!" She almost screamed at them. "That's not only wrong but revolting!" Both Anko and Iruka looked at her in shock. They definitely didn't know that.
"Miss Kim, if our information is correct, someone may have shoot you as a warning to Orochimaru." Iruka told her and she shook her head.
"I've told you; he is not a mob boss." She snapped. "He is an eccentric scientist with his own laboratory business to work with both hospitals and pharmaceuticals." She told them.
"Our Intel is never wrong Miss Kim." Iruka stressed and Yua shook her head.
"Get out." She snapped at them both. "I will not listen to anymore slanderous remarks. Get out and don't fucking come back!" She shouted.
"But you need protection." Anko pointed out.
"I will deal with that myself. Get out and tell whoever you answer to, not to send anyone else. I'm over this." She told them as she opened the office door for them.
Once they left, she sighed and rubbed her face. This was going to get messy and soon.
She got ready as she normally did for the evening, tonight she picked out a teal satin cowl back midi slip dress with a slit that went up to her thigh. She wasn't in the mood to work but she had to. She had to keep an eye on who did what in her bar. Dealers were warned to keep out but sometimes they didn't listen.
It wasn't long before Ibiki walked in. He smirked when he saw her and sat down at the bar next to her. He noticed her concern before she noticed him and smiled.
"Is everything OK?" He asked and Yua nodded.
"Fine, nothing you need to worry about." She told him and ordered him a whiskey.
"Yua-chan you can tell me." He tried to reassure her. Yua knew the moment she mentioned the mafia and the police, he would run. But if she kept him the dark and it came out unintentionally, it could end worse. Yua took his hand and led him to her office.
Yua sat down at her desk and gestured for Ibiki to do the same.
"After I tell you, you can decide if you want to leave and never come back or stay and carry on as we are." She told him and he looked at her confused. "A couple of nights ago I was shot at." She started.
"I take it, that's why you have your arm bandaged?" She nodded; she had completely forgotten about her arm.
"Yes, I was grazed luckily enough."
"Who took a shot at you?" He then questioned her.
"I don't know. The police are investigating and had given me plain clothed officers to protect me."
"Where are they?" He asked and Yua smiled.
"I thought I asked a lot of questions." She stated and he apologised. "I told them to go and never come back." She told him with a sigh. "I got upset at them." She admitted before he could ask why. "They accused my uncle of being a criminal."
"Yua-chan, if they gave you protection then it must be serious. They must think that you weren't shot by accident." Ibiki pointed out.
"I know and this is the bit that will make you run." He looked at her confused. "They believe that it's one of the mafia families."
"Why would they think that?" He asked confused.
"Because the mafia have been trying to get me to pay protection money and use my bar for their illegal activities." She explained and waited for Ibiki to say he was done with all of it.
"You never gave into them?" He asked, sounding impressed.
"Never." Ibiki stood up and went around her desk.
"You must be the strongest and bravest woman I've ever met." He told her as he gently pulled her up onto her feet. She blushed as he kissed her. His right hand rested against her bare back, keeping her steady. His other, gently cupped her face. Her hands rested in his shoulders. As he pulled away, they both smiled.
"You still want me?" She asked, almost sounding unsure.
"Of course, I do. Who wouldn't want to be with such a beautiful, strong, brave and fearless woman?" He told her and she blushed. He kissed her again, this time with more heat. Her arms wrapped around his neck, holding onto him. Ibiki's hands wondered over her body, taking in the softness of both the stain dress and her bare skin. "Yua, are you even wearing underwear?" He asked her, his lips brushing over hers. His voice was thick with arousal.
"No, why? Does it bother you?" She teased him and he growled.
"Not at all. It makes it easier to take you." He kissing her again, passion filling the room.
Before she knew it, she was up against the wall, his body pushing against hers, trapping her. He held her left leg up, the slit now revealing her entire leg. His other hand supported his weight against the wall so he wouldn't crush her. She started to unbutton his shirt as he kissed down her neck.
They had both failed to hear the knock at the door.
