Here is the forst class with Umbitc- herrr wanted to say Umbridge. I know it isn't visible that I hate this woman at all.(sarcasm). Hope you like it, the next is with the detention,, but I don't know when I'll transate it, hopefully soon. Please review to tell me what you think of it.

The night wasn't very good, and Harry was almost glad that it was over. He noticed, as he was coming out of his bed, that Luffy was awake for a good while, if he judged from the fact that he was slipping in by the window of the dormitory, sweating and perfectly awake.

"Luffy?"

Luffy turned around as he was closing the window and smiled to Harry with a tired face. He seemed to have had a bad night too.

"I spend a part of the night outside training," explained the pirate." And Sabo came to join me this morning to run with me a little. I'm going to shower, or Nami will kill me for sweating that much."

And he walked away humming softly.

Harry raised his eyebrows and picked up his own clothes to go shower.

He entered the common bathroom of the boys and saw that Neville was already awake and was glancing worriedly at something from the side of Luffy's cabin.

"What is it?"

For all answer, Neville showed something not far from the cabin. A long band, slightly bloody.

"Luffy?" Called Harry. "You're hurt?"

"Nothing bad, little reminder of my summer break… Don't worry!" Luffy told him from behind the curtain.

"You're sure?"

"Yeah !"

Neville and Harry shared a puzzled look.

If Luffy wanted to keep this to himself…

Luffy didn't listen one word of what Snape said. He was dead tired and bored. He didn't even follow the instructions on the board for the preparation of the potion. Today, it was a bad day for the young man.

He didn't even jump when Snape got up in front of him.

"Mr Monkey… can I know what you are doing?" demanded Snape.

"I'm passing time," muttered Luffy throwing crushed beetles in his cauldron.

He smiled when the mixture turned a bright red, ignoring the horrible smell that came out of it.

"You're not here to pass time, but to make the potion of the day, Mr Monkey! Continue like this, and I will make you drink the content of your cauldron. You will not be laughing when we will be bringing you to infirmary for poisoning!"

Everyone stopped what they were doing to watch the confrontation. Luffy looked at Snape with a half-sleeping face, then stood up. In one gesture of his hand, his things were put in his bag on them owns, allowing him to turn toward Snape. With defiance, he took the cauldron with his hands… and swallowed the content.

"LUFFY!" Called Hermione with fear.

"Stop this, Mr Monkey!" Ordered Snape seeing that the boy was really drinking his concoction.

He tried to take it from his hands, but Luffy had a strong hold and nothing could escape his rubbers members. In his fight with Snape, a drop of the potion fell on the ground, smoking, leaving a little hole behind.

"Aaaah!" sighed Luffy putting his cauldron back on the ground.

He licked pensively his lips and commented, under the unbelieving stare of all the class:

"Lack a little salt, but not too bad. Ja na!"

And Luffy took his bag and walked away.

"He's gone crazy…" commented Ron who had almost thrown up in his cauldron seeing what Luffy was doing.

"This potion should have made a hole in his stomach! Look at the ground!" Pointed Harry showing the little hole that the drop had made with his finger.

"No foolishness, I'm going to grab this idiot to get him to the infirmary!" Snape ordered.

And he rushed out of the room searching for Luffy.

He found him a little later in the kitchen, laughing with the house elves that had made him a mountain of meat and grabbed him by the back of the neck to the infirmary.

The Golden Trio was reassured when they saw Luffy still alive when they reached History of Magic.

"I had worse," Luffy told them simply when Hermione scolded him for the story with the cauldron.

Of course, her screams attracted two young ladies (well, Vivi just had History, and had a break, just after, so, she was taking advantage of it to talk a little with Robin)

"Monkey D. Luffy, what did you do again?" Hissed Nami entering the classroom.

"Ara, Nami, aren't you supposed to have Transfiguration?" Inquired Robin.

"Yes, but when I passed in front of the class, I heard Hermione scold Luffy."

"From what I heard, he swallowed a cauldron full of poison," breathed Vivi, as white as a ghost.

Nami paled and would have fallen on the ground if Robin hadn't pushed her on a chair, just on time.

"That's craziness!" Whispered Nami. "You're the king of fools, but to this point…"

"What?" Said Luffy tilting his head on the side. "I had worse!"

"It's a corrosive poison, Luffy!" Harry said, upset. "What do you have in your head, for doing something like this!"

"I had worse" answered Luffy shrugging.

"Worse? Where?!" Choked Ron.

What could have been worse than swallowing that thing?

"Magellan."

And that made him laugh.

In answer, Nami and Vivi groaned in exasperation and Robin smiled unmoved.

"Iva-chan helped me a lot this time. And now I'm immune! Should have seen your heads, though!" Laugh Luffy.

Nami raised a shaking fist and violently punched Luffy on the head with it.

"Ite!"

"I vote to deliver him to Sabo," proposed Hermione.

"I would second this proposition, but he has the first year right now," stated Robin. "Go, both of you, I'll take over."

"Kami-sama, what did I do to have a captain like that…" cried Nami.

"Let's go, Nami, I'll walk with you to your class," sighed Vivi. "Luffy, you would tell us if something wasn't okay, right?"

"Haiii!" assured Luffy.

And he looked at his two friends walking away before turning a blinding smile to Robin who looked at him in the eyes.

"Luffy…"

"Daijobu Robin…" mumbled Luffy as he pouted.

"We are nakama, Luffy."

"I know!"

From his pouting face, he passed to the huge grin. Robin didn't have the time to talk of this subject more, because the student arrived. It was time to give a class.

Sabo intercept his brother who was coming out of Muggle Study, and who was going to Defense.

"Luffy, come here."

With a sigh, Luffy joined the empty classroom that Sabo had shown him. The blond closed the door behind him and locked it magically, before signaling his brother to sit down

"Who? Vivi, Robin, or Nami?" Muttered Luffy, excepting to receive a good scolding from his brother part.

"Snape."

"Eh?"

It was the last thing he was excepting.

"I told him that poisoning was to be excluded as a mean to kill you, after your clash with Magellan. Yes, Iva-san told me about it. What do you think? Everyone in the Revolution know that you are my little brother and what risk to happen if someone touch you. But it's not why I asked you to come with me."

"Why?"

"It's because of this woman, Umbridge."

Luffy leaned his head on the side not understanding why his brother seemed to be worried.

"Her main goal, here, is to make you all as inoffensive as lambs. So, she will in priority go after the dissidents. In other words, Dumbledore, Potter and you. She has a plan to make sure that no professor can bother her, but it isn't working yet. However, I beg you. If I need to put myself on my knees for you to listen and that for once, you do what I ask, for your own good, I'll do it."

Sabo really kneed and took his brother by his shoulders, his blue eyes full of worry.

"Make yourself forgotten. Whatever she says, take it and swallow, but don't answer to her. Onegai da, Luffy…"

"You worry for nothing, Sabo!"

-No, Luffy, I don't worry for nothing! I know you, and I have a wonderful report on Umbridge. I know what to except of your meeting. I'm still negotiating with Dumbledore and McGonagall-sensei to exempt you from this class that would be useless for you this year. But if you fall into her trap…"

Sabo sighed deeply.

He was now realizing what Marco had lived all these years… with his hands tied, to be so powerless… and today, he wasn't sure of his power to protect his brother.

He watched his brother smile, telling him he was worrying for nothing, then stand up to go to his class.

The blond run one hand in his hair.

He was feeling it in his guts that his brother would be falling right into the trap.

Luffy reached the room just in time not to be late and took a seat near the window that Neville had kept for him.

"Where were you?" His friend whispered.

"Sabo was panicking about the teacher, so, he wanted to talk to me before the class."

Luffy wasn't able to say more that Umbridge entered the classroom.

"Good morning everybody!" She said in her sweetest and highest voice.

She only got a lukewarm success.

At the second try, she had a little more success, but Luffy didn't make the good little boy. He looked around him and saw Harry who didn't participate either.

When the teacher asked them to put their wands away and to take out something to write, Luffy told himself that he would have a boring hour.

"You didn't put your wand out?" Whispered Neville seeing that Luffy had only taken out his book, some ink, a feather and some parchment.

Luffy shook his head, but didn't give any explanation, since the instructions were given.

Reading… some fucking reading.

He wrote what was written on the board and opened the book looking bored. He stayed his eyes staring at the first page. It seemed dull.

After some time, he threw a glance around him, and saw that some had fallen asleep on their book, other were drawing and Parvati had even taken out her homework for another class and get ahead in her work.

What attract his attention quickly, was Hermione.

His friend hadn't touched her book and had one hand raised as if she was trying to touch the ceiling. Luffy suddenly found her very interesting and just stared at her while admiring Umbridge trying to ignore her.

"You had a question on the chapter, my dear?" Finally asked Umbridge

"Not on the chapter, but…" answered Hermione.

"Well, we are reading, now…"

Luffy raised an eyebrow.

For one, no one wanted to read her fucking chapter. For two, weren't the teachers supposed to answer every question, even more so when they were on their subject?

"It's about the objectives of the class", continued Hermione.

"And you are…?"

Luffy contained a shiver of disgust and stuck out his tongue. If it continued like that, Sanji would scream a miracle, because the D. would never be able to eat anything sweet, at the end of the year.

"Hermione Granger."

«You would have known if you had made the roll call» thought Luffy.

And with a fake smile glued extra hard on her face, Umbridge commented:

"Well, Miss Granger, I think on the contrary that they are perfectly clears. Maybe you didn't read them with enough attention."

"I did," replied Hermione, almost offended. "It's just that you didn't write anything about the practical on the defense spells."

Luffy blinked, like almost all the class. And in the silence that followed, they read the objectives of the class on the board once more. And more than one almost threw up in front of the high girlish laugh, that was, as strange as it could seem, the one of the teacher.

"To use defense spells? My dear, why ever would someone need to use defense spells in this classroom?"

And there, Luffy really understood what would happen in this class.

A waste of time for him that needed to train.

So, he stood up and began to put his things in his bag.

"What are you doing, Mr Monkey?" Demanded Umbridge, surprised.

"Luffy?" Whispered Hermione, puzzled.

"I'm taking my things and going away," state Luffy as he closed his bag.

Neville moved to let some space for Luffy, looking at him with worry. All the class was staring at him with surprise.

"The class isn't over. What would your grandfather say if he knew that you leave the class in the middle of a lesson?"

"Garp isn't my ojii-san anymore since Marine Ford and his non-intervention with Ace. And about your class… it's shit. I prefer to pass these two hours doing something else, rather than to lose time here."

"Sit down!"

"No. You don't have any right to tell me what I must do or not. Your class is useless. If I understood well, you don't want for us to learn to defend ourselves."

"But why would you need to defend yourself during my class?"

"Maybe because you should teach us to defend ourselves for the moment we will be out of your class, precisely!"

"But there is nothing, outside!"

Harry shivered in front of the burning glare that Luffy threw at Umbridge.

"There is rapists, thief, murderers, death eaters who escaped justice, dark wizards that are just waiting to stand up, werewolves a lot less nice than Lupin-sensei was, who is also the best teacher for defense we ever had. The list is long. If there wasn't anything outside, Diggory would still be alive, my nii-chan wouldn't have received a Cruciatus last year, and I wouldn't be here to talk to you as Mugiwara no Luffy!"

"I don't see what you are complaining about. The authorities are here to make sure that you are protected from all of these. And as for Diggory, it was just an unfortunate accident."

Harry turned around violently toward her, ready to yell that it was a murder at her, but Luffy put a hand on his shoulder.

Umbridge hadn't finished.

"Plus, we are nice to keep welcoming you in this school, Mr Monkey, and this, just for your grand-father. Such a creature as yourself should have never been allowed to be born in the first place, so, stop your complaining and sit down."

Luffy stiffened as if he had just been whipped. His fists were shaking one instant, and he closed his eyes, offering a huge smile to Umbridge.

"Wari, I forgot that I didn't have the right to live! Thank you for the reminder! Since your generosity seems to bother you, I don't see why you're complaining to see me leave your class. You shouldn't miss me. You can erase me from the calling list, I don't have any intention of coming back, Gamabridge."

And on this, Luffy turned his back from Umbridge and walked away, slamming the door behind him.

He walked down the corridors wondering what he could do, until he crossed Peeves who was juggling with some inkwells.

"Ooooh! A bad little pirate is skipping class!" Cackled the poltergeist.

"Yo, Peeves!" Greeted Luffy with a smile. "What sort of prank are you preparing, this year?"

The grin of the spirit widened.

"If I told you, it wouldn't be fun! So! Do tell to Uncle Peeves why you're risking angering your big brother by skipping class!"

Luffy pouted.

"Gamabridge is an idiot."

Peeves was going to answer when they heard someone rather angry coming toward them. This person was Harry who stop half a distance when he saw them.

"If it isn't my little friend Potter! So, what are you doing out of class? You hear voice? You speak a language" – Peeves did a gurgling sound unidentifiable – "made up?"

"Shut up…" hissed Harry.

The cackles from Peeves made a close by door open.

"What is all this noise!?

Peeves flew away still cackling, letting the inkwells fall (Luffy avoid by a hair to be sprayed with ink) to run away. And for good reason, because nobody ever wanted to anger McGonagall. However, the Gryffindor's Head of House frowned seeing her two lion cubs out of class.

"What are you doing out of class, you two?" She asked.

"I'm wasting my time in Defense. I decided that it wasn't any use to stay," commented Luffy shrugging.

He picked his nose with an indifferent face.

"The professor Umbridge send me to see you with this message. I don't know what it is about", muttered Harry showing a note of a most aggressive pink.

"Even the kimono of Izou is less pink than that thing," noted Luffy while McGonagall took the message to read it.

The woman didn't comment, only reading silently her message. With a deep sigh, she asked the two boys to enter in her office.

She closed the door behind them and passed behind her desk. She took a box from one of her drawer and presented a cookie to each of the boys. If Luffy didn't protest and chewed happily his, Harry hesitated.

"Ginger, sensei? How many times did Ace said bad jokes about this?" Smiled Luffy with a snicker.

"Enough that I am now immune about them, Mr Monkey. Is it true?"

"What is?" Asked Harry nervous.

"That you called the professor Umbridge a liar. The both of you."

Luffy cocked his head on one side, then the other, thinking.

"More or less", answered Harry honestly.

"That you talked about You-Know-Who, Mr Potter?"

"I did."

"I don't believe it, but I prefer to ask you… Mr Monkey. Did you attack the Professor Umbridge?"

"Eh?!"

Harry and Luffy looked at her with surprise.

"He didn't do anything of the sort!" Huffed Harry while Luffy was trying not to laugh. "He stood up telling her that she was supposed to teach us how to defend ourselves, and that if she didn't do it, he didn't have any reason to stay in her class! This…" -Harry took a deep breath to not swear in front of McGonagall- "She told him that she was very nice to accept Luffy in class, just for his grandfather. He justly pointed that if his presence bothered her so much, she didn't have to protest seeing as he was leaving."

McGonagall's eyes opened wider and she looked at Luffy who had stayed calm and was looking indifferently out of the window.

"She didn't?!"

Luffy shrugged.

"It's not one person more or less that will tell me if I have the right to live, that will change anything to my way of thinking or to the facts."

"I'm going to have a talk with her, then I'll finished with you. Don't move from here."

And McGonagall walked off to war against Umbridge.

Harry watched the door close then turned toward Luffy.

"Luffy… she's wrong."

"Eh?"

"Umbridge. You have the right to live. You're a nice guy. The world would be a sad place without you to brighten it. I'm happy to have you as a friend. Don't listen to her."

"Shihihihi! No need to cheer me up, I'm alright! I know that she is wrong. I'm not my father. I don't know him, anyway. Well, just his name and his face, and yet, I know what he looks like because of his bounty… So, I have a family and friends, who, as you, prove to me every day that this life is worth it. Even if they are few, they are more important than the raging ones throwing the stone without knowing me."

Harry smile and leaned against his chair, the eyes toward the roof.

"I… I often had to listen to this sort of speech from the Dursley. With them, my live was like the one of a house elf. But for the friends I have at Hogwarts, I can stay strong and keep hope."

"What sort of house elf?"

Harry stared curiously at Luffy.

"Ji-chan has a house elf. Karasu he is called. And nothing keeps him from bantering with Rayleigh when they don't agree. He is nothing like a slave. The Silver always took care of their house elves, and they give it back to them."

A bulb lightened in Luffy's head.

"We have to introduce him to Hermione!"

"She will want to free him, I advise you against."

"That's it, the confrontation would be funny!"

It was at this moment that McGonagall came back with a tired air.

"This woman is such a hypocrite… her, she has the right to tell what she thinkz, but not her students… anyway. Mr Monkey, you won't have to go to her class anymore. You will still have to go to a week of detention with her. I couldn't negotiate more. And don't look at me like that, Mr Potter. To reach this result, you need my acceptance, plus the one of the Professor Umbridge, and your guardian. And seeing as your godfather didn't get back his rights, this decision need the acceptance of the Dursleys…"

Harry groaned in despair taking his head between his hands.

It was dead.

"Garp will never agree," pointed Luffy. "I'll have to play it as did Ace to do it."

McGonagall had a smirk sitting down.

"Believe it or not, the professor Dumbledore and I realized this September the First that anything concerning you had been relegated to the responsibility of your brothers, young man. I doubt the Mr Portgas is against the idea that you to skip this class, and the professor Silver demanded explicitly to make an arrangement for you to not have anymore class with the professor Umbridge if it should go wrong."

"I love my brothers!" Smiled Luffy. "Oh, I was going to forget, I had to warn you."

"About what?"

"I don't have a wand anymore."

"You don't have a wand anymore?!"

That took the cake!

"How did you do to lose it?" Asked Harry.

It wasn't an easy task to lose a wand. Even Neville never lose his own.

Luffy shrugged.

"Magellan must have taken it or destroyed it. And seeing the number of muggles in Newkama Land, I couldn't ask without a risk to Iva-chan if someone could find it while I was going to find Ace. Anyway, I came too late to prevent his transfer."

He had said that with an even voice. He took a pensive face.

"It may still be somewhere in the Level four of Impel Down. But with the flames around this level, I'm not sure if it still is intact."

McGonagall had a very pale face and breathed deeply. Harry looked at his classmate with round eyes.

"I… I'll share this fact with Filius, Mr Monkey. And I'll send a letter to your grandfather to see if he can do anything about this. In the other case, we will try as soon as we can to go to make a new one for you. If I have to ask Severus for some Polyjuice so you can go to Ollivanders without being killed, I'll do it. Off you go now."

The two young men stood up.

"Not you, Mr Potter, I'm not finished with you."

Harry fell back on his chair. Luffy put his bag on his shoulder and went to open the door.

"Mr Monkey, one last thing."

Luffy turned around toward his Head of House with questioning eyes.

"I would be sad if a young man like you should have problems with this woman. Lay low, I beg of you."

"Haiii~!"

And Luffy closed the door behind him.
