Anko blocked Ibiki from leaving the office.

"What you doing?" Anko questioned him. "You told both me and Iruka, you wanted nothing to do with this case because you were fucking her." She added annoyed.

"I was doing what any concerned lover would do." Ibiki told her harshly. "I gave you both an opportunity to get more evidence, is that a problem?" He the growled at her. Anko had been increasingly hostile towards the relationship Ibiki had struck up with Yua. He understood the fact that she was shot at, he understood that there was a case investigating it. But he wasn't a detective on the case nor knew anything about it until after they had met. She had no right to be pissed at him.

"Anko has a point Ibiki. You need to step back both from Yua and anything to do with this case." Iruka spoke up.

"Why don't you go back to Kakashi? I heard he's working for Senju now." Ibiki spat back, taking Iruka by surprise before walking away.

Yua quickly slipped into the ladies' toilets and made a call. She needed her guns gone before anyone found them. Luckily for her, Orochimaru was willing to help after their argument. She knew he meant well but she had made a life around her business. She didn't want to have to rebuild it.

She came out to find Anko waiting for her.

"Ready?" Anko asked and Yua nodded. As they passed the bar, Yua told Asuma to try to manage without her that night. It shouldn't be too much trouble; they were always quiet on a Sunday night.

"We'll start in the living room." Anko told them as they stepped inside Yua's home. Ibiki lead Yua into the dining room to sit down. But Yua couldn't stay still.

"What's wrong?" Ibiki asked concerned as she fidgeted in her chair.

"I have to do something." She said with a sigh before standing up. "Do you know if Iruka likes tea or coffee? I know Anko likes coffee and so do you." She started speaking faster and faster. Ibiki just stated at her, wondering why she would think he knew what Iruka liked to drink. "Oh, never mind. How would you know?" She muttered and walked off to the kitchen, ignoring the looks she got from Anko and Iruka.

Yua started boiling the kettle before looking through her fridge. Ibiki soon joined her, concerned by her sudden change in behaviour.

"Yua, what's wrong?" This time Ibiki grabbed her gently by the shoulders to make her stop. She looked up at him, her breathing fast and shallow.

"I don't know." She told him, looking around. "But something isn't right. I think someone else has been here." She admitted to him. She had noticed that who Orochimaru had sent, had little eye for detail either way. She had expected Ibiki to have noticed that both of her bedroom windows had been opened, as her room was in the front of the house. She had a thing about leaving windows open. She had to close a window unless she was in the room. It was something she had always had an issue with but she was also sure it would have stopped many thief's and assassins from climbing into her home. "Did you open my bedroom windows?" She asked, hoping Ibiki had done it. But he shook his head.

Ibiki left Yua to fuss over drinks and food, it appeared to be her way of dealing with the fear. She also went on about how rude she had been not to offer the two police officers something to drink or eat.

He made his way up to her room and took a good look around. He wanted to see if anything had been touched, moved or taken. Everything seemed to be in its place, apart from the bedding. It had been pulled back and looked as if someone had been laying in it. He slowly walked over to the bed; it was still warm. They must have disturbed whoever was there.

He rushed back down the stairs, making sure not to gain any of Yua's attention and signalled for Anko and Iruka to follow him. They quickly set to work, they needed to find out if they were still in the house. But it quickly became apparent that they had managed to slip away, this time.

When they all came down, Yua had set up drinks and a small feast in the dining room, urging them to pick at it as they wanted. Ibiki took Yua up to her room to double check everything was in the right place. He had moved her bedding back, trying not to let her know about the creep's deeds. But everything appeared to be in its place.

It had been a few hours and they were just finishing up when Iruka called for Yua.

"Yua-San, has anyone stayed in this room before?" He asked her.

"No, I don't think so." She answered curiously. "Why?"

"Because there's an ashen hair in the ensuite sink." He told her and she frowned. The only person she knew with white hair was Tobirama and he had never been in her home, as far as she was aware. Iruka bagged the hair. Yua watched closely, trying to work out who's hair it was. It didn't have a silver shine to it, so it wasn't Kakashi's and it wasn't grey like Kabuto's. It was pure white.

By the end of the search, all they had was a single ashen hair. But it was enough to keep an eye on Yua until the lab came back on the paper.

Once Anko and Iruka left, Yua started cooking dinner for the both of them. She heard her land-line phone ring and Ibiki answering it. "Miss Kim's residents." He said as he picked up the phone.

"Who is this?" A man's voice spoke through the phone.

"You rung, who are you?" Ibiki asked.

"Tell Yua she missed out tonight." The man told her. "But I'll take a rain check for tomorrow." He added before putting the phone down. He made a mental note to make sure someone was at the bar tomorrow. He couldn't be sure who was on the phone but he had his suspicions.

"Who was it?" She asked as she heard Ibiki enter the kitchen.

"Wrong number." He told her as he stepped behind her. "What are you making?" He asked.

"Nothing special, chicken curry." She told him. "It was all I had in. I don't eat home much anymore." She admitted.

"Maybe you should have more time off? Your staff told me you've never had time off since the bar opened." Ibiki watched her closely.

"Where would I go? I can order anything I need." Yua said with a shrug.

"It's not the same thing." He stated. "You don't have to have a week off, just a day or two every now and again. Slow down." He added, she never seemed to want to slow down. She had to be doing something. "Take some time for yourself." He added and then smiled when she gave in to him. He decided to sit and read while he waited for their dinner to be done.

When she had finished cooking, he helped her carry it into the dining room and serve it. She smiled the entire time. It was nice to have a man help her rather than trying to get in her underwear.

"Ibiki, you can sleep in the spare room or mine." She told him as he did the washing up. She didn't want him to feel like she needed him around all the time. She didn't want to seem clingy.

"I wouldn't mind having someone to cuddle with." He teased her as he passed her a plate to dry up. Yua smiled and nodded.

After they were done, they both looked over the bookshelf, taking a book each. Ibiki had originally thought the number of books was for show but it appeared she had read all or most of them. They both settled on the sofa. Yua leaned against Ibiki's side and put her feet on the arm of the sofa. He smiled to himself and they read in silence.
