The next morning, they were both awoken by the front door opening and Iruka's voice calling for the both of them to come down. Ibiki jumped up and dressed himself quickly while Yua ran into her ensuite.

Ibiki went downstairs, he was unimpressed by the early wake up call. He was even more unimpressed that Iruka had let himself in somehow.

"Anything eventful happen last night?" Iruka asked as Ibiki and he stepped into the living room.

"No, why?" Ibiki huffed annoyed and went into the kitchen to make himself a coffee.

"How is Yua-San?" He then asked Ibiki.

At that moment, Yua came down in a dark blue check V-neck shirt with three quarter length sleeves. And black skinny leather trousers. She ignored both men and made herself a coffee.

"So, Iruka-san, why did you think you could waltz into my home without knocking?" She asked as she walked back in the living room. She sounded pissed.

"I came with the results of the hair and paper." He told her but she still didn't look impressed. "We had them rushed through."

"And that means you can forget manners?" She stared him down. It was even enough to make Ibiki nervous. "Does that mean if I had information to a case, that I could just walk into your home without warning?" She snapped at him.

"I'm sorry Yua-san." Iruka bowed his head. "It won't happened again." He added and she clicked her tongue.

"I also want to know where you got a key for my door from." She then huffed. Only she and Orochimaru were the only ones with a key. She had yet to give one to Ibiki.

"I took a mould of yours yesterday, in case we had to make quick entry." Iruka explained. In truth, they wanted a chance to investigate without Yua hovering. They wondered what they could find once she let her guard down. Yua glared at him, holding out her hand for the key. He sighed and handed it over.

"If I find out you have another one, I will sue you." She hissed before she went back up to her room.

"I swear she has some sort of personality disorder." Iruka said with a sigh once Yua's bedroom door closed.

"How come?" Ibiki asked confused.

"Well, yesterday she was a nervous wreck. She was very timid. Before that she was happily flirting with you at the bar. But just now, she was just angry and mean." Iruka explained and Ibiki frowned. He had noticed her tenancy to change from one moment to the next. But he noticed it was more to do with the people she was around.

"I think it's to do with who she's around and sometimes where she is." Ibiki pointed out.

"She's reading the room and reacting the way someone would expect her to react?" Iruka asked and Ibiki nodded.

"At the bar, she's working to get people to have fun and spend their money. So, she tries to have fun herself. With the mob she's careful, watching them and reacting in a way that produces the best outcome. Here, she tends to more of what I think is the real her." Ibiki explained.

"An angry woman?" Iruka grumbled.

"To be fair, you did just walk in." Ibiki pointed out. "Anyway, what are the results?" He then asked, changing the subject.

"The white hair matched Kaguya Kimimaro, a mass murder and hitman who is associated with Orochimaru. But the paper was clean, no trace whatsoever." Iruka told him. "Apart from Yua, obviously."

"What about the grey hair and finger prints Anko found in her room?" Ibiki asked.

"The prints weren't hers, they were from Yakushi Kabuto." Iruka stated before signing. "Are we going to tell Yua about it or not?"

"Not yet, Orochimaru is her uncle. He may have sent both men to check or spy on her. She may even know these men to some degree." Ibiki explained, he didn't want to panic her, especially since the hair was found in amidst her underwear draw.

"Ibiki, she must know what he does for a living, she can't be that blind to it."

"He took her in when her parents passed and he brought her up. Would you want to believe the man who took you in, was a mob boss?" Ibiki asked with a sigh. Iruka nodded in agreement. "I have looked at deaths of couples with young children, but none fit Yua's profile."

"She may have taken her mother's maiden name?" Iruka reasoned. "Or depending on her age, Orochimaru may have had it changed in order to hid their relation once her parents had passed."

"She told me her name was Sumire before Orochimaru took her in, but her mothers' last name, I don't know." Ibiki rubbed his face and sighed. "She's so tight-lipped. It's like she starts to relax and talk about her past and other aspects of her life. But then I ask a little too much and she shuts down." He added.

"Maybe she's hiding something?" Iruka hinted.

"I doubt she's hiding something dangerous. I think she's ashamed or embarrassed by something."

"I think you need to step back from Yua. Let myself and Anko work on getting close to her for little while." Iruka stated, he wasn't about to let his friend be taken in by a possible associate of the mafia. He couldn't understand how she hadn't been brought into Orochimaru's circle. Even if she hadn't, she seemed too familiar with both Tobirama and Madara.

"Do you think I've been taken by some witch?" Ibiki's temper started to show through. "I approached her, she has been up front with the shooting, mafia and let me into her home. If she was dangerous, don't you think I would know by now?"

"No but I do think you're rushing this."

"Like you did with Kakashi?" Ibiki spat back at him. "You jumped into bed with him and asked questions later." He added.

"Don't forget he was under her employment too." Iruka snapped at him.

"The difference being, our Intel showed that the moment she found out about his mafia ties, she fired him." Ibiki pointed out. "You kept sleeping with him."

"What I your problem with Kakashi?" Iruka growled at him.

"My problem is that he is known to us for being in the mob." He pointed out. "Yua isn't known for any mob activity. She has grown up around the mob, unknowingly. To be honest I think that's the only reason she has gotten so much leeway with them. Instead of being treated like any other person, both you and Anko have treated her like shit stuck to the bottom of your shoe from the start." He snapped at him. Iruka sighed and apologised. Ibiki had welcomed Kakashi at first, until they found out about his mob background and links. It was clear Kakashi was still in the mob. But Yua hadn't shown any signs of being one of them despite the company around her.

Banging from upstairs soon got their attention. They ran up to find Yua trying to free herself from a choke hold by a masked and hooded man. She had managed to turn her head to the side and was pushing the man's elbow up, trying to release the pressure on her neck as she slammed her elbow into his gut. The man grunted but didn't seem too affected by it. The hood shifted back slightly, showing a flash of pure white hair. The first person that came to mind was Kaguya Kimimaro. Had Orchimaru sent a hitman to kill, hurt or kidnap his own niece?

Both Ibiki and Iruka drew their guns.

"Can't shot me." The man's voice teased as he held Yua in front of him, tightly. She struggled in his hold. Ibiki looked for any sort of weapon on the man, it appeared he came without one. He must have believed that he could take her on without any problems. Or believed that he could use her as a human shield without them thinking of something else to stop him.

Yua was done being nice. She did the one thing she hated doing, playing dirty. Instead of slamming her elbow into his gut, she slammed her fist into his privates. The man immediately let her go and she fell to the floor, coughing.

Ibiki helped Yua up as Iruka moved into arrest the mystery man. But the man must have had a hidden blade. Iruka went down, clutching his side. The man jumped out of the open bedroom window, Ibiki followed. Yua rushed into the bathroom and got a towel before applying pressure to Iruka's wound. She also called for help, officer down.

"I was under the impression you didn't like me." Iruka joked through gritted teeth.

"Funny, I thought the same about you." She said with a smile.

"Yua, what does Ibiki mean to you?" Iruka asked seriously.

"He's a handsome man who is nice enough to care about me." Yua answered. "It has been a long time since a man has be nice to me with no ulterior motive. I guess I just want to be around him just for that." She went on to explain. Iruka coughed, he knew Ibiki had fallen for her. It was clear that Yua wasn't that far behind.
