Ibiki came back empty handed as Iruka was taken to hospital. Yua was sat in her bedroom, on the floor. The two detectives investigating the shooting at her bar, had come to question Yua about the new attack.
"Miss Kim, can you tell us what happened?" They asked her but she blanked them. "Miss Kim." They said louder. Yua looked up them, seeming to break out of whatever trance she was in.
"Ummm, I need to wash." She sounded unsure as she looked down at her hands. Iruka's blood was all over her, surrounding her.
"Miss Kim, what happened?" They pressed as Ibiki watched from the doorway. She looked completely lost. She stood up, looking around the room.
"I don't know how he got in." She told them as she tried to wipe the blood off her hands onto her top and jeans.
"The open window most likely." One detective pointed out. Yua turned and looked at the window. She frowned and walked towards it.
"Yeah, but..." She paused, trying to think. "I never open it; I hate having windows open." She added as she ran her bloody fingers through her hair. She looked confused.
"Miss Kim." They tried to keep her attention.
"I was going to go downstairs, he grabbed me, choked me." She then added, her hand went up to her neck. It was suddenly tender; she was coming down from her adrenaline rush. "I tried to slam him into a wall, trip him over stuff. It didn't work. I tried to free myself." She started to pace up and down her room. "Ibiki and Iruka came up, guns..." She went to walk into the bathroom but one of them stepped in her way. She stopped and stared at them. "They didn't shoot, I tried elbowing him. It didn't work." With each word, she got more aggressive in her tone. "I then hit him in the balls and he let me go. Ibiki pulled me away from him. And Iruka..." She paused and turned to look at the blood on the floor. "He was stabbed." Her voice filled with sorrow.
The two detectives left after sometime. Yua just stared at the blood. Ibiki followed the detectives to give his account of what happened. Forensic investigators entered her bedroom and processed her room, around her. She refused to move or acknowledge them.
When they were close to finishing, she asked if she could wash up. They agreed but wanted her clothes. Yua looked down at herself before walking out of her room to the spare bedroom. She took off her clothes and threw them on the landing for them to collect. She turned on the ensuite shower and sat down in the spray.
An hour passed and Ibiki went looking for her. The forensic investigators had left a while ago and she had yet to come down. The house was now empty, it was just them.
He found her in the shower, still sat on the floor. Her knees were brought up, her arms holding them tight while she rested her head on her knees. Ibiki sighed and sat down next to the shower.
"Yua, everything is OK." He told her.
"Go to Iruka." She told him without looking up.
"He's in surgery, no need for me to take up space in the waiting room." Ibiki told her and she slowly lifted her head.
"Will he be OK?" She whispered.
"He should be." He sighed. Yua turned off the shower and slowly stood up.
"I'm going to work." She told him as she wrapped herself in a towel. He wanted to tell her not to, but he knew she would be difficult to convince otherwise.
"Let me help you." He sat her down the bed and brushed her hair after he towel dried it. "Do you want me to get the hair dryer?" He asked and she nodded.
"Can you get me some black underwear, blouse and suit, please." She asked as he reached the doorway.
He soon came back with black lace underwear, the only underwear she seemed to have. He had picked out a black slightly sheer shirt with detailed white flowers. He had made sure to pick out a black silk vest top to go underneath it. He didn't want anyone seeing what was for his eyes only. He also had her only black suit in her wardrobe, all the others were different colours and different shades of the same colours. It was like she was a suit addict. It appeared all of her revealing items of clothing were kept at the bar.
He placed her clothes down next to her and plugged in the hair dryer. Once he finished drying her hair, he left to let her dress. Yua didn't speak a word until she got to the bar.
"Ibiki, I think it's best that you and the police don't put yourselves in danger for me." She told him as they stood outside. Ibiki looked at her confused.
"Yua, we accept the danger. I want to be with you and any risk is worth it." He told her. "As for the police, they are trained to deal with this and know what they are letting themselves in for." He tried to reason with her.
"I don't think you understand. I cannot live with knowing that by protecting me, it killed one of you." She stressed before tearing up. She rushed inside before he could say anything more.
Yua ordered for Ibiki and the police to be kept out of the bar. She didn't want them getting any closer. She had Sai check her office and bar again for bugs and cameras. She wasn't taking any risks; she had left her business in limbo long enough.
As usual, Tobirama turned up.
"Business or pleasure?" Yua asked without looking up from her computer. Tobirama frowned and sat down in front of her.
"What's wrong?" He asked concerned. It never mattered how busy Yua was, she always treated them with up most repeat by greeting them.
"Just catching up." She told him, again without looking at him.
"Yua, what's wrong and why is your new man lurking outside?" He pushed and Yua huffed.
"I was attacked again." She told him, moving her hair off her neck so it all hung down her back. Her neck was slightly bruised from the choke hold.
"Details." Tobirama order and she glared at him. She wasn't his subordinate.
"Watch it Senju." She warned him. It appeared he had forgotten his place. They had both become too comfortable with each other. He quickly apologised.
"What happened, if you don't mind me asking?" Yua explained what happened, she didn't go into great detail.
"Yua-san, we are all worried about your safety." Tobirama stressed. "Someone wants you out of the picture and we don't want to lose you."
"You mean, you don't want to lose the best trade you've ever had?" She stated with some distain.
"Yua believe it or not, some of us are capable of feelings. And some of us care about you more than being our supplier." He snapped at her.
"Really? Because I remember you all saying you wouldn't buy from a girl. It was only when you saw my contacts and started killing the competition that you all suddenly cared." She growled at him, her nails digging into the arms of her chair.
"For fucks sake Yua!" He shouted at her standing up. "I have been trying to befriend you since we were kids! Can't you see that?" Yua stared at him, she didn't know what to say. "Madara as much as he hides it, he's in love with you. My brother sees you as a little devil but he still loves you like his own sister." Yua gave a small smile before going back to blank. "Hell, even Pein cares about you."
"Why?" She asked, she wanted to know why everyone seemed to care.
"We all grew up with you, we cared about you then and we still care about you now. The whole reason we didn't want to buy from you was because we didn't want you to have to live like this. But then you proved you were just as capable as us." He explained with a sigh. He walked around her desk and stood in front of her. "We really do think Orochimaru is behind all of this." Yua sighed and rubbed her face.
"I doubt it..."
"Yua, he's the only one with a motive!" Yua stood up and faced him.
"Let me finish Senju!" She snapped at him. "I doubt it's Orochimaru because he's my uncle." She told him, she waited for the death threats.
"He's your uncle?" He asked stunned. She nodded and bit her lip. "How did you hide this from us?" He asked, he was completely thrown off by this.
"Orochimaru raised me and changed my name before I started school. He always had a nanny take me everywhere. No one was allowed to come to our home. When I started college, he gave me my parents' home and the money they left me. I could live on my own if I kept our relation a secret." She explained.
"He didn't get you into the business, did he?" He asked, he had always wondered how she had managed it. Yua shook her head.
"I found paperwork amongst my parents' processions. They were in the business and I reached out to their contacts, originally it was to find out more about my parents. Learn more than what Orochimaru . Over time I built up a network. It helped me keep the bar going when I opened it."
"Your name isn't Sato, it's Kimoto." Tobirama stated with realisation.
"Yes. I am the daughter of the Kimoto's. I used my mother's maiden name for arms trading and shortened my business name to Kim." She admitted and sat down in her chair. "I hoped by doing this, I'd find out who killed them." She added with a sigh.
"Sound." He told her and looked up at him like he was crazy.
"Why would my uncle do that?" She asked confused.
"I don't know what Orochimaru has told you, but I'm guessing it's all lies." He told her and sat down on the edge of her desk. "The only person I know who knows Orochimaru better than anyone, is Jiraiya." Yua huffed.
"Perv." She mumbled. "I don't know what to do." She then massaged her scalp.
"Let's go see Jiraiya and see what he says." He told her and she nodded after a short pause as she weighed up her options.
"I hate going to that strip club." She grumbled and Tobirama laughed.
Tobirama led Yua out to the bar. "He's still outside, isn't he?" She sighed and Tobirama nodded, knowing she meant Ibiki. "Let's go out of the back." She stated but before she could, Asuma stopped her. The police were sitting around every entrance, telling her staff it was for Yua's protection. Yua sighed and stormed off to the main entrance. Tobirama almost had to run to keep up with her.
