Once outside, Ibiki tried to speak to her but she blanked him. Tobirama apologised to him as he rushed after her, leaving a confused Ibiki. He wondered how she was capable of walking so fast in heels.
Much to Ibiki's surprise, Yua stormed into the only strip club in the city. He followed, hiding from sight. Tobirama was rushing behind her, seeming to try and clear the way for her. Something told Ibiki that someone had gotten on her bad side and Tobirama had witnessed it before.
Yua marched right up to the main table, where a large man with big spiky white hair. The man grinned at her arrival.
"Ah, Yua-chan, how can I help you today?" He asked as he shooed off the young and busty women around him. Yua simply stood in front of him, her arms crossed. Tobirama hid a little bit behind her. The man didn't seem fazed by her glare.
"Orochimaru." She hissed at him.
"What about him?" He asked and patted the empty space next to him.
"I'll stand." She snapped and he smirked.
"Not unless you want your information." His voice sang and Yua huffed before sliding across the seat next to him. "You know, you a little smaller than I like but you are rather beautiful." He remarked and she slapped him across the face.
"I'm here to talk about Orochimaru." She growled at him. "Cut the crap Jiraiya." Tobirama sat on the edge of the booth, almost hovering off the seat.
"What do you need to know?" He asked grinning.
"His relation to the Kimoto's." She told him, surprising the him.
"Why? The Kimoto's are dead." He asked, his arm going over the back of the booth, by her head.
"I'm their daughter." She stated. "Now I need to know." She added and he nodded. He straightened himself out. He stared at her for a moment.
"I had no idea." He muttered in disbelief before clearing his throat to speak properly. "Orochimaru was adopted by your grandparents, your father's parents. They grew up together and started the arms business together. Then Orochimaru got a taste of the mafia life and started his own family, Sound. Your father moved on with his life and married, had a baby." He explained and looked at her with sympathy. "Orochimaru got jealous and angry. Your mother wanted out of the business to raise you in peace. That meant Orochimaru would no longer have the weapons he wanted on tap. But he was also jealous of the family your father had. He never felt a part of your family."
"He killed them?" She asked and Jirayia nodded. Yua tried hard to keep herself composed.
"Yes, everyone was under the impression that you had been taken to live in another country. To be kept out of your family's old business." He told her. "No one knew Orochimaru had you in his possession. Not even me." He added with a sigh. "They must have known he was coming for them because Orochimaru was never able to find any of the arms business papers or contacts."
"You must be losing your touch old man." Yua joked through her pain and Jirayia pretend to look hurt. She stood up to leave.
"Sumire." Jirayia used her old name, making her look back to him. "If it's any consolation, you would be a credit to your parents, they would be proud of you. Even in your line of work." He told her and she smiled before thanking him.
Yua walked outside with Tobirama, they never spoke a word. They made it halfway back when she broke down, Tobirama caught her before she fell on her knees. Tobirama quickly rushed her back to the bar. The last thing she needed was to seen as weak.
He sat her down at the bar and Asuma poured her a drink.
"Yua, it's OK." Tobirama told her and pulled her into his side to hug her.
"What happened?" Madara appeared. He must have come by while they were out. Madara looked concerned.
"Can I tell him?" Tobirama asked and Yua nodded as she stared into space. Tobirama took Madara to one side to explain what happened.
After both men tried to get Yua to speak or at least acknowledge them but she just kept drinking. Madara went outside to where Ibiki was standing.
"She needs you." Madara grumbled. He was annoyed that he couldn't be what she needed. Ibiki didn't need to be told twice. As soon as Tobirama saw him, he moved away from Yua.
Ibiki sat down next to her.
"Want to talk about it?" He asked her.
"Orochimaru killed my parents." She stated simply. Ibiki looked at her surprise, but it did explain her behaviour. But now he didn't know what to say.
"Do you know why?" He asked, sometimes knowing why can help with closure.
"He was jealous and pissed that my father would no longer help him." She spat as she picked up a bottle of whiskey before Asuma could stop her.
"Maybe you've had enough to drink." Ibiki told her and took the bottle off her, giving it to Asuma.
"Fuck you." She hissed at him, clumsily jumping down from the stool. Ibiki grabbed her arm, stopping her from falling to the floor. She pulled her arm free and steadied herself.
"Yua, let's get you home." He told her and helped her walk towards the door. He ignored the looks the he got from her staff and the other men.
As they got to the front door, Orochimaru walked in. Yua locked eyes with him before pulling out her gun. She aimed it at Orochimaru's head. Ibiki didn't even know she had one on her, she must have kept it at the bar. He didn't blame after all that had happened to her.
"You killed them." Her voice was low as she hissed through her gritted teeth. Orochimaru didn't seem fazed the gun aimed at his face. "You killed my family!" She shouted and stepped forwards. Ibiki grabbed her arm, keeping her back. He didn't want her to do the wrong thing. If she did, he would have to take her in.
"I am your family." Orochimaru told her. "I took you in."
"Only because you killed them!" She screamed, tears running down her face.
"I wouldn't shoot me in the presence of the police." He told her, making Yua frown confused. "I wouldn't sleep with a police officer either." He then added. Yua looked over at Ibiki, waiting for him to deny it.
"You're a police officer?" She asked, her voice no louder than a whisper. Ibiki still didn't speak and refused to look at her. Yua dropped her gun and stepped away from him.
"I think it's time you left." Madara spoke up, looking at Ibiki. Ibiki reached out for Yua but she stepped back from him again. He sighed, feeling his heart break. He walked away once he saw the betrayal in Yua's eyes. He had no idea that his actions would cause her so much pain.
