On with the story
Natsu and Happy stayed at the bar as the storm was not letting up
"what a storm" Happy said watching the storm from the window "it's so rough"
"that's just nature" Natsu said before he saw something in the ocean "that's…"
Natsu's eyes squinted as he sees Simon floating in the ocean's water, hanging on a wooden board
The man soon heads out of the bar as Happy stayed
"where are you going?! Natsu?!" Happy called out but Natsu was already out
Simon floated into the water while hanging on the wooden board, the waves swaying his body around
Before Natsu came flying above and grabs him then flies back to the town
Happy stayed at the bar before the door slams open and Natsu came in, other customers closed the door
"Natsu!" Happy exclaimed as the feline ran to him
Natsu laid Simon down as the man was coughing out sea water, making attentions of others to him
"it's Simon!" "he's back!" "did he managed to get some fish?!" "what happened?!" the other customers and the bar keeper soon surrounds Natsu as they looks at Simon who was regaining conscious
"someone have a towel or something? His body temperature is cold" Natsu said as the Bar Keeper ran to the back in a second
Simon coughs out more sea water before he opened his eye and sees Natsu with the other customers, looking at him
"I'm saved….again?" Simon said before the bar keeper came and drapes a blanket over Simon
"hey Simon, did you managed to catch some fish?!" "was the Kraken still in the area?!" "did you saw it?!" the customers bombarded Simon with questions but the Bar Keeper shouted at them to be quiet
"I didn't get fish" Simon said as he slowly sat up while holding the blanket to him "that Kraken was still there, and the blasted thing tried to eat me like many years ago!"
"damnit, we can't fish anymore" "what the hell is a Fisherman who doesn't fish?" "we can't get any income for our family anymore" they all chattered around while Natsu looks at Simon
"and? If the Kraken had tried to eat you…why are you still here? And alive?" Natsu said as everyone looks at Natsu before to Simon
"I was saved" Simon said before smiling "by a mermaid"
"I see" Natsu said as he crossed his arms while the crowd chattered "so there is a mermaid here"
"right on that, I can't believe that the Mermaid saved me twice" Simon said while smiling
"twice? The mermaid saved you twice?" Happy said as Simon nodded
"the first time is when I was a lad and when I still had my sister with me" Simon said as he takes out a locket from his pocket and opens it, inside was a picture of Simon in his young age with a girl around 9-10 years old, wearing a white ribbon on top of her head "she saved my life….but couldn't do the same with my sister's" Simon closed the locket and holds it close to his heart "if only once, just once; I want to thank the mermaid who had saved my life. Not once but twice now"
"you must be very grateful to her" Happy said as Simon nodded with a smile
"alright then!" the Bar Keeper exclaimed "for Simon who had survived the Kraken and been saved by the Mermaid once again! Let's celebrate with some drinks!"
"YEAH!" everyone except for Natsu exclaimed as they cheered
"alright! I'll drink hard then I'm going to work hard making a new boat and sail again!" Simon exclaimed as he got up and went to the bar where the Bar Keeper were making a few rounds for everyone
"AYE SIR!" Happy exclaimed as he went to have fun while Natsu stayed in his place before he looks to a window and sees a shadow by it
The Shadow saw Natsu's stare as it soon disappeared
"again?" Natsu thought as he had seen the same things twice in one day
The storm soon settled as the day had turned into night
Natsu was standing outside the bar as he looks at the calm ocean water
"it's too calm" Natsu said before he hears the bar door opening and Simon came out, nearly drunk
"Hahahahahah! Let's go home!" Simon exclaimed as he started walking out while Happy was following him
"Natsu come on! Old man Simon is going to give us a place to stay!" Happy exclaimed to Natsu
"why?" Natsu asked
"quit with the questions, boy!" Simon barked "just be grateful that I'm letting you and your cat friend here a place to stay as a thank you for saving my life!"
Simon soon started walking away as Natsu looks at him
"he's a nice person" Happy said with a smile as Natsu looks to the feline before to Simon who was walking towards a lighthouse
"perhaps" Natsu said before the two followed the old man
At the Lighthouse, Simon rummages around his pocket before taking out a key and unlocks the door
Opening the door, Simon walks in before the lights turned on
"excuse us" Happy said as the feline walks in before Natsu came following in
"I got some beds on the second floor, feel free to use them, but don't expect any room service from me" Simon said as he heads to a small kitchen and takes out a small plate filled with rice balls
"you didn't eat?" Natsu said as Simon shakes his head
"already ate a lot," Simon said as he heads outside, Happy and Natsu following him "these are for my sister"
The three soon went near a small beach as there was a small boat on the sand
"but you said that your sister passed away" Happy said as Simon sets the plate of Rice Balls on the boat before carrying it up
"yeah, but I made a tradition to make these rice balls" Simon said as he walks near the water and sets the boat down "these were her favourites, even though I can make her anything that she wanted; she always said that she loves these the most"
Simon soon pushed the little boat as the waves carried it into the ocean.
"even if she is gone, I'll always make these for her. So that she will not be hungry on the other side" Simon said as he turns to walk back to the light house "let's head back in, the night is going to be rather chilly during this season"
"Aye" Happy said as he followed the old man before looking at Natsu who was staring at the direction of the Ocean "Natsu?"
"head back in first" Natsu said as he looks to the little boat, floating in the ocean before he sees something coming out of the ocean near the little boat and grabs it, then swimming away "I'm going for a small night walk"
Natsu was now in the cliff area of the town as he walks around before stopping when he finds a hole and, in that hole, he could see ocean water
"perfect" he said as Natsu's wings spreads out before the man flies into it
Natsu now entered some sort of underground cave system that was connected out to the ocean's water
"aumm…aummm…aummm" he soon hears munching and eating as they were echoing out
Natsu looks around before he flies into a tunnel where the sound was echoing
"aummm….mmmmmm! yum!" Natsu now hears a voice as he was getting closer to the source
Flying further in, Natsu now arrived at an opening and inside were a bunch of wreckage of ships, and a pile of Simon's small boats.
The cave was connected out to the ocean's water but was hidden from outside. A perfect place for any creature to hide
"aummm…aummm….aummmm" Natsu hears more of the munching sound as they were more clearer than when he was in the cave
Natsu looks around before he spotted something or rather someone by a small wooden house that was badly made, and was in the middle of eating Simon's rice ball
"I found you" Natsu spoke out as he floats down and landed in front of the person "Kraken"
Right in front of Natsu, is a woman with white skin that has a shade of pink on it, a black triangle thing on top of her head that has four purple glowing circles, two small nearly the same size as her eyes and two much bigger with the addition of a white ribbon on top, her hair is purplish brown long hair that drapes near to her back hair, she wore some sort of a black skirt with glowing circles but it looks like fused with her body, her breasts are covered with black vest-like thing that also seems to be fused with her body. lastly her lower body is different from the top as she had ten light purplish squid like tentacles that surrounds her. A pure definition of a half squid half woman creature like the Kraken. Only this one seems to be a female
The so called Kraken had a piece of rice sticking on her cheeks, her eyes widen in surprise to see Natsu. Her hands had some munched on rice balls, two tentacles were holding Simon's little boat that still had some riceballs on it
"eh?" the squid girl said in surprise as she acted like she was caught red-handed
