On with the story
a single month soon passed, the Kingdom of Dragnof was now filled with some citizens
At the library, Levy was reading books after books
"this is amazing! There's magic scripts, magic rituals, inscription of magic translation, and so many more!" Levy exclaimed before she got shushed by some humans and beastmen near her "oops…sorry…."
Levy grabs some books as she stacks them over another before carrying them away to the counter where Lucy is
"Lu-chan" Levy called out quietly as she gently placed the books on the counter "I want to borrow these ones"
"again? You just borrowed 2 stacks yesterday" Lucy said as she was now the manager of the library, positioned there by Natsu himself
"I did, but I'm already done with them" Levy replied with a smile as Lucy shakes her head with a smile as well
"same old Levy-chan" Lucy said as she started stamping the books down, signing it to be borrowed by Levy "remember to return the ones that you already read. This place and the books in it are extremely valuable after all"
"gotcha" Levy said with a wink as she grabs the stacks of books and heads out of the library but she stopped for a moment "by the way, Lu-chan. Are you sure you okay? I can ask the King to let me fill in your position"
"I'm fine" Lucy said while caressing her slightly bulging stomach which was indicating her to be pregnant "my child is just growing in me for the moment, don't worry."
Due to Natsu being half Demon and Human, the man was able to impregnate Lucy safely, but she won't be laying an egg because of her being a mammal. the Dragon child will grow inside her womb as Lucy's womb will act like an egg's outside shell while the child grows in her before the child would be born in the coming time
"if you say so" Levy said "just tell me if you need help, alright?"
"I know, thank you, Levy-chan" Lucy said as she waved at Levy who walks out of the library before she went back to managing some books
Things in the kingdom been great as Natsu allowed Levy and some of the Taurama town's former citizens to come to his kingdom and lives there peacefully
Levy walks out of the library as a part of the Dragnof's town was filled with citizens
"good morning, Levy!" a couple of Kobold beastmen greeted her while pushing a cart together
"morning!" Levy replied with a smile as she walks to the street before her boyfriend Gajeel got in front of her
"you are under arrest, Levy McGarden" he said with a grin as Gajeel was appointed as a law enforcer of the Kingdom by Natsu himself "did you know that a petite and cute girl like you is not allowed to carry this many heavy books? Such acts can you get some jail time!"
"oh no~! I am in trouble~!" Levy said playfully before Gajeel grabs her book with one arm and the other grabs her
"you're coming with me to jail, missy!" Gajeel grins as Levy playfully called out for help "Gihee~!"
At the port town of the kingdom, Kagura was there while there were some fishing boats as well
Kagura was sticking out her tongue into a bottle as her Ink filled the bottle whole
"there" Kagura said as she placed a cork on top to seal it before placing the bottle to a wooden rack filled with other bottles filled with her ink "take it away"
"aye sir!" a couple of Cait Siths nearby replied as they take the bottle rack and went away
Squid ink or Kraken's Ink are a very valuable and highly bought delicacy around the world, a bottle of it can cost up to 100 gold coins. And not only the ink serves as a delicacy, it is also used as precious magical ingredient for magical items. "Dark lamps" which light a black-colored flame use this ink as fuel and just the opposite of an ordinary lamp, they produce darkness in the area illuminated. They can produce a "pseudo" night which are used by mages.
Kagura sighs before she smiles as she looks down on her lap. Her tentacles protectively cover two violet red eggs which are her eggs.
A few days after the mating ceremony, Kagura laid two eggs which were not Kraken eggs as these eggs are Dragon eggs. She didn't understand the biology of how Natsu was able to impregnate her nor how was she even able to lay them, but she didn't actually care because she is now in love with the Dragon King and their future children
She caressed the eggs before placing a kiss on top of each
"Kagura-san! They're back!" a voice shouted out as Kagura looks up and sees a look out post, on top of the rock walls that surround Dragnof, something that Kagura had advised Natsu to make
Kagura hears the voice as she takes out a whistle which is Natsu's
She blows on it hard as the Baltic Hydra soon arises out of the water
The Hydra roared a bit before looking to Kagura who waved her hand to the side.
Responding to her action, the Hydra swims down into the water before to the outside wall
Outside, a bunch of fishing boats was outside as one boat was Simon's boat
After a month of reasoning by his sister, the old man had decided to come and live at Dragnof along with some other fishermen. The old man was now the chief of the fishermen as no one can go out fishing without his or the King's permission. if one violates any of the two's order, the Hydra will be feasting on them as a snack.
A few seconds later, the Baltic Hydra rises out of the water and all 8 heads roared out
"we're back!" Simon exclaimed with a smile "and we got some snacks for ya!"
Behind the boats were a couple of dead whales as they were floating behind the ships, tied on the back
"feel free to eat them!" Simon exclaimed as the Hydra roared before leaning its head and body over the harsh waterfall, making an entrance way for the ships "come on fellas! Get in or get killed!"
The boats soon sail into the hidden entrance as everyone got in quick
After all the boats got in, the Baltic Hydra enters in and the entrance was now covered by the harsh waterfall
Entering the port, Simon's and the rest of the boats docked by while cutting off the rope that attaches the dead whales
The dead whales floated around the water before the Hydra bites down on them and ate them all
Simon jumps off his boat as he tied the rope to the docks, securing it in place before going to Kagura who he waved in returning
Things in the kingdom was getting bright as the place was peaceful and calm
Now we turn our attention to the king of Dragnof himself
Natsu was on his way back to Dragnof but he was riding on a giant black three headed hound, called the Cerberus
The Cerberus, a legendary creature of myths. A hound with three heads and a tail that is a snake. The Cerberus is known as the guardian of the gates of hell, and a hound that is loyal to its master
Natsu sat on the middle head of the Cerberus and behind them was Happy who was driving the carriage with some other carriages behind
Inside the carriages are humans and beastmen. All seems to be deserters from the war
They soon reached the hidden entrance as the Cerberus leans down its head and Natsu jumped off before going to the wall and holding his hand out
The wall soon rumbles as the stone door slides open and reveals the hidden entrance
Natsu motions Happy to go in first to which the Cait Sith did before the other carriages followed in as well
Every single one entered into the cave as Natsu watched every single one get in, his eyes glowing red
"stop" Natsu said as he stopped one of the carriages that was going in next
The driver was an old man as Natsu eyed him before going to the carriage
Inside were beastmen and humans, all wearing coats. Natsu eyed them with his red eyes before he stopped to a human
He was a male, gruff look and seems to be in the midst 30s
"you" Natsu pointed to the man before behind him "out now"
"s-sir…is there a problem?" the man asked while looking afraid before Natsu got in the carriage and grabs the man by his coat, then drags him out
The other passengers started whispering and chattering in surprise to the action, they all curious and feared for what Natsu might try to do the man
Natsu got the man out of the carriage and started to inspect him
"s-sir…i-I do not know what you are doing…I do not bring weapons as to your instructions" the man said as Natsu looks to him before he holds his hand, and on the man's hands were some purplish colored scars
"and this?" Natsu said as the man gulped his throat "I had told everyone before we had come to my kingdom, come to me if you are sick or injured"
"b-but sir…this is the Qaratar D-disease…there is no cure" the man said as Natsu looks to him before he waved his hand on top of his, the purple scars instantly disappearing
The nearby passengers look in surprise and in awe, so was the man himself
"to you humans, the diseases cannot be cured." Natsu told him "but I am no human"
"t-t-thank you sir! Truly!" the man exclaimed while crying in tears "how can I ever repay you!?"
"if you desire to repay me" Natsu said as he leans a hand towards the man "live in my kingdom in peace and thrive in it. That is how you shall repay me"
"yes! I shall!" the man cried out in tears as Natsu pats his shoulders a few times
"go, your new home awaits you all" Natsu said as the man nodded before getting back on the carriage, the driver soon whips the rails and the horse pulled it
"thank you!" the man exclaimed in the carriage as it went inside the cave, following the others
"keep it moving!" Natsu exclaimed as he steps aside and the other carriages behind followed into the cave
Natsu's eyes keeps on glowing red as the man looks at every single carriage and everyone in it, making sure that anyone who enters kingdom is safe and healthy while making sure that those who have evil intention…well, they will be the Cerberus's snack
"Aye! Welcome to Dragnof!" a group of Cait Sith exclaimed while welcoming the new citizens in
"Aye! I'm home!" Happy exclaimed as he drives the carriage down the hill
"Aye! Welcome to Dragnof!" the group of felines exclaimed again as they welcomed the next carriage, repeating again to the next one and then next one
The whole passengers were amazed in seeing Dragnof as they were amazed to be in a hidden kingdom, no one has ever even known.
Day soon turns to night as the Kingdom of Dragnof was peaceful and quiet
Lucy was walking around in the library as she was organizing some books into the shelves, according to the alphabet
She hummed as she did her duty as the keeper of the library
After she was done, Lucy massages her shoulders a bit as it was tiring when you had to sort an entire giant library by yourself
"tired?" a voice spoke as Lucy turns around and smiles, seeing Natsu walking towards her
"a little" Lucy said as Natsu hugs her and gives her a kiss on the lips before looking down to her stomach, caressing it gently "welcome home"
"it's great to be home, but I'm afraid that I have to go out again the next day with Happy" Natsu said "my mission still holds importance"
"I know" Lucy said as she pecks his cheeks "but remember to come back home safe" Lucy place her hand on top of his which was caressing her stomach "our child is waiting"
"I know" Natsu said with a smile as he hugs her before separating "oh, and I've come back with some little help for you"
Lucy blinked once in confusion to what he was talking about before she sees a small brown elves climbing on top of Natsu's shoulder
"a Brownie?" Lucy said as Natsu nodded before the Brownie creature, jumped down to the floor where there are thousands of them "so many!"
"yes, these Brownies were captured in a dark slave market of a kingdom, I have visited" Natsu explained "I saved them and the people who were slaves to their king. They came as they want to help me in our kingdom"
"poor things" Lucy said as she kneels down and holds her hand out for one Brownie to hop on her hand "you're all safe here now, you won't ever become slaves. Our king can assure that"
The brownie smiled as the other brownies cheered in happiness
"I had first thought of having them in each household but Kagura suggested that they should help you in the library better" Natsu said as Lucy looks to him then to the Brownies "but, let's ask them in case"
Lucy nodded with a smile as she looks to the brownies
"do you all desire to help me in the library? Or upon the households in the kingdom?" Lucy asked politely as the brownies looks around the library before they spread out and started climbing up the bookshelves while making small squeaking mice like sounds
"I guess that's their answer" Natsu said as the brownie on Lucy's hand did a bow before jumping on the bookshelves
"I hope we will get along nicely" Lucy said as the brownies cheered to her before going into the shelves, mysteriously disappearing already
After visiting both of his mates and checking on their states, Natsu was walking around the street of his kingdom. Everything was quiet, calm, and peaceful.
Natsu walks around before he stopped and looks to the household, filled with citizens of his kingdom
He smiled, as his kingdom was building up slowly and nicely
"my kingdom is growing slowly…." Natsu thought with great joy as he looks around "yet….it still needs safety"
Natsu soon walks away as his wings spreads out before the man flies up
The next day soon came as Natsu was off with Happy
The two were heading away of the kingdom's hidden entrance which now had a big temple upon it
The giant Cerberus laid guard of the entrance, given a duty by Natsu as the guardian
"where are we going now, Natsu?" Happy asked as he drives the carriage at front
"Lantaria" Natsu said as he wears his armored gloves on before putting on his helmet, adjusting it on his head "heard rumours and stories that there is a kingdom there that has beastmen slaves and some of the slaves are Cait Siths"
"we're going to save them, right!?" Happy exclaimed while looking behind as Natsu nodded
"that kingdom must be burned because it is ruled by a very pathetic king that just takes greed for himself and does not care for his people" Natsu said as glowing red eyes appeared in the visor of his helmet "let's go save the Kingdom from that king, and burn it to the ground"
"aye sir!" Happy exclaimed with a cheer
