A few days later, Ibiki joined Suna's police force. Yua smiled as Ibiki beamed with pride when he got his uniform. She couldn't help but wish he hadn't had to leave Konoha to be happy. It felt like she had ripped him from his home.

Yua stood in her kitchen, drinking hot chocolate, she had to kick her caffeine habit for now. Ibiki was away on a training exercise, to get use to the Suna terrain and the weather. He would be gone for a week. She didn't like the idea of having the house to herself anymore, or her bed. She had gotten used to having him by her side. It didn't help that she had some very important news to tell him. She wasn't sure how he would take it, especially this early on in their relationship.

She sighed to herself and washed up before making her way to bed. She didn't know what to do with herself. She picked up a book and sat on her bed. She wanted to cuddle up to Ibiki but he wasn't there. She smirked when she remembered what Ibiki had a shirt in the laundry basket. She quickly looked through the basket and stripped before putting his shirt on. She smiled and took a deep breath. It felt like he was closer to her in some way. She lay on the bed and got comfortable. But no matter how she shifted, she just couldn't get comfortable. She felt like she was being watched. In the end, she chose to cover herself up with the blanket, covering her head too, trying to ease the feeling.

A breeze caught her attention, she never left windows open. Now she was sure that someone was watching her and had now broken in. She stayed still, waiting to hear their footsteps. She didn't hear a thing. She bit her lip as she gently and slowly pulled the blanket down to get a better view. The dark room revealed nothing. She sat up and frowned, confused. Maybe she really had left the window open. She got up and closed the window.

Suddenly, a hand covered her mouth and an arm wrapped around her waist.

"Surprise." Ibiki whispered in her ear. Yua smirked and pulled his hand from her mouth.

"What are you doing here! ?" She hissed, annoyed by his entry but soon gave him a big smile.

"Well, it's a test. Whoever is able to sneak into the city and stay the night and sneak back out at sunrise, gets to pass early." He told her as she turned to face him.

"Ibiki, I have a surprise for you." Yua told him with a nervous smile.

"Other than finding you in just a shirt?" He asked with a smirk, kissing her. "More importantly, one of my shirts." He then teased her.

"I'm pregnant." She admitted quietly, waiting for Ibiki to run a mile. He didn't move or make a sound. "Ibiki?" She whispered, scared he was now going to reject her. She watched as a large smile grew on Ibiki's face.

"We're going to have a baby?" He asked, his breath had been taken away.

"Yes, I'm only six weeks along, so don't go telling everyone." She told him with a smile.

"Why not?" Ibiki asked excited. "I'm going to be a dad!"

"Ibiki, I'm saying not to tell anyone, just in case." She admitted, looking down. Ibiki looked at her confused.

"Why just in case? Is there something wrong? Something I need to know about?" He started to question her. All sorts of thoughts ran though his mind.

"Because it's so early on, anything could happen and I don't want to jinx anything until I've seen a doctor and I know everything is healthy." She admitted. She was worried about telling Ibiki before she had seen a doctor but it just came out. She could see the excitement building inside him.

"I understand." He finally spoke, after calming himself down. "I can wait till you're ready."

"Thank you." She smiled and kissed him softly.

"So, no more kinky sex then?" He suddenly asked, making her laugh.

"Is that all you're upset about?" She asked as she pulled him over to the bed.

"I'll miss it, but I'll soon get over it." He told her as they sat on the bed together. "I guess we need to talk about what happens next?" He then added, becoming serious.

"Like what?" She asked confused. What was there to talk about? They were together, in Suna. They both had what they wanted and loved the most, each other. Now they would bringing a baby into the mix. Yua knew it would be hard work but they had plenty of support from their new community and friends.

"Well, if marriage is something we want." He told her and she smiled.

"I'm not bothered if we're married when the baby is born, if that's what's bothering you?"

"I'm not bothered either, I just wanted to make sure you were happy with this."

"Of course I'm happy. I have you." She told him. They kissed, finally happy together.
