On with the story
Natsu was walking around the campsite as the numbers of slaves were more than the rest
"this many, huh?" Natsu thought as he grabs his sword from behind his back before slamming it down on the ground
Natsu started dragging his sword around as the people and beastmen watched him
"what's he doing, Nya?" the Milliana girl asked while looking at what is Natsu doing
"he's just dragging that big sword of his" there Sho said as Natsu walks pass them
"not just that" the Wally said while looking at the ground and the drag marks "he's dragging his sword, making a circle"
"what for?" the Milliana girl asked but they didn't know
Natsu soon arrived at the end of the circle as the drag marks he made, surrounded the campsite in a large circle
"this should be large enough" Natsu said as imbedded his sword to the ground before taking off his gloves
Natsu pulls out his magic gun and checks its ammo
"what's he going to do now?" the Sho asked, looking at Natsu
BANG!
A gunshot rang out as everyone's eyes were wide as saucers
"h-h-h-he shot himself, Nyaaa!" the Milliana screamed as Natsu had just shot his own hand, and there was now a bloody hole on it
The blood drips down to the ground and the circle soon shined crimson blood red
The circle shined before a glowing red line forms around inside the circle
"w-what is this?!" the Sho exclaimed, seeing the magic circle
"A magic circle?!" the Wally stated as crimson dragon head symbol appeared in the center of the circle
Erza ran out of a campsite as she sees the magic circle before to Natsu who holds his bloodied hand up
"you! What are you doing to my friends?!" Erza exclaimed as she runs towards Natsu with her sword drawn out "cease it at once!"
Natsu saw her coming as Erza jumped up and swings her sword down
ZWORSH!
Natsu's right hand came flying into the air, blood pouring out of it before falling to the ground
Erza's sword was covered in blood as it was Natsu's blood
Natsu looks at her then to his right arm as his hand was cut off, blood squirting out of it
"you! What was that?! A magic circle to cast everyone in it as your slaves!?" Erza exclaimed, her face filled with anger
"the opposite" Natsu told her before pointing to the campsite with his left hand
Erza looks to the camp and her eyes widen in surprise
The collars on the slaves, all falls to the ground before shattering into pieces. The wounds and scars on their body fading away, and the sick were healed like magic
"leading a group filled with the injured, that war you are talking about shall be a one sided massacre" Natsu said as he picked up his right hand before attaching it back. The wound steaming as Natsu's hand was reattached to his right arm "if you desire to purge that kingdom of the king, I suggest having my assistance"
Natsu grabs his broad sword and started walking away as he clenched his right hand a few times
"take your time and decide" Natsu told her "you have the whole night to think of it"
Erza looks at Natsu as she couldn't believe the amount of power and miracle, he can give
Midnight had come as the campsite was calm and quiet
Everyone was asleep, except for a certain headless knight
Near the campsite, was Natsu's carriage
Happy was fast asleep while Natsu was spinning his gun a few times before opening the revolver, pushing it back in, repeating his actions
Natsu keeps on doing what he is currently doing before he heard footsteps coming near them
He got out quietly, before he was face to face with Erza
"so?" he said as he takes off his helmet and looks at her "have you considered my offer?"
"what is your price?" Erza stated as Natsu reaches to his back before taking out a scroll which he throws at her
Erza caught the scroll and opens it, her eyes read the content before squinting
"you desire…to have me as a mate?" Erza stated as she looks at the contract then to Natsu who had his arms crossed "are you mad?"
"no" Natsu said "I'm sane"
"what is this? Some sort of slavery tactic?" Erza said while holding up the contract paper "you made the condition of your assistance, and it is to have the resistance and the resident of the Fernandez Kingdom join yours, and live in it?"
"my kingdom is large, but the citizens in it are slowly prospering" Natsu explained before he raise his hands up "for that, I need to gather people, and find mates who shall bear my children, giving birth to Dragons who shall rise again from extinction"
"and let you rule them with an iron fist?" Erza stated "never"
"I do not rule them, they rule themselves" Natsu told her "a Dragon keeps balance, we do not come in between conflict"
"lies, you state such lies" Erza told him
"I do not lie" Natsu told her as his form changed into that of a Dragon "I vow on my pride as the last Dragon King of Dragnof, and the one who shall shine the light to your victory"
Erza looks at Natsu as the wind blows in the cold night
"I have just one condition" Erza stated as Natsu raised an eyebrow in response
"that is?" Natsu asked as he sees the fire in Erza'a eyes
"I want to personally kill the king myself" Erza said as she clenched her fists tight "that is my condition"
"very well" Natsu replied "if you desire it, I shall grant the audience for the king"
Erza huffs a bit before she looks at the contract paper as her name appeared on it
The contract paper soon rolled up before floating towards Natsu who caught it
"contract is in a go" Natsu said as he walks towards Erza before standing in front of her "you shall obtain what you desire"
Natsu soon leans down as he cups Erza's chin before giving her a gentle kiss
Erza blushed a bit to the kiss as Natsu leans away
"for a Dullahan, you're very adorable" Natsu said with a chuckle as Erza looks away
"f-flattery won't get you anything" Erza said before her body suddenly hugs Natsu tight "h-hey!"
"looks like your body is more honest than you are" Natsu said chuckling as he hugs her back
"n-no! it got a mind of its own and-!?" Erza exclaimed before Natsu takes her lips again, silencing her protest
The two stood in the middle of the night, the full moon shines above
The next day soon came as the morning sun rises
At the Fernandez kingdom, a giant stone wall was surrounding the borders as soldier surrounds it, archers above it
A single guard stood in front of the gate, yawning as he stood in his place
He looks at the empty road before he sees Natsu coming into view, the Dragon man wears his armor while holding his broad sword on his shoulder
The guard blinks a few times before rubbing his eyes to see if he was seeing what he sees with his sight
Natsu soon arrived at the front gate as all the guards stationed there sees him
"halt, state your name and business here" the guard said as the archers took aim at Natsu
"Lizardius, Lizardius Natsu Dragneel" Natsu replied "a wandering mercenary and King"
Natsu soon hears small whispers from the archers and the guards as his name was very well known
"I've come to purge the king of this kingdom" Natsu told the guard as he slammed his sword down to the ground "I believe you all know of my hidden kingdom, do you not?"
The guard looks at him and nodded, some of the archers and guards lowering their weapon a bit in hearing his words
"I know of the foolish king who rules this kingdom, he took it from the previous king who he murdered, and enslaved you all" Natsu spoke out loud as he raise a hand up to them "if you desire sanctuary, freedom, and justice. I shall grant it to you but only if you stray away from this shadowed kingdom and come to my kingdom. There everyone is equal to each other, we do not create conflict. Only peace"
The guard looks at him with a hesitant look as so were some of the other soldiers and archers
"h-how do we know that If you can keep your word?" the guard asked "the king is not one to be underestimated, he has the power to control Trolls, powerful giant creatures whose stomp shakes the earth. Many who opposed him were slaughtered and murdered. We've seen many who did so"
"I am not a no one" Natsu told the guard "I am a king, a true king who protects his people and ensure their future"
"i-I still cannot trust your words nor can I let you in!" the guard exclaimed as the archers took aim again at Natsu
"your family, right?" Natsu said as the man's eyes widen a bit "you worry that if I cannot keep my words, the king will target your family and murder them, don't you?"
"y-yes, my family is barely able to live in this kingdom. I must do my duty here and give them hope to live!" the guard said as he draws out his sword "leave! And don't ever come back! Or I shall plunge this sword into your heart!"
"is that truly what you desire?" Natsu said as he walks towards the guard
"s-stay away!" the guard exclaimed as the archers aimed straight at Natsu's head, their fingers on the trigger
"tell me, is that what you truly desire? Do you truly desire to soak your hands in blood? Tainting it forever?" Natsu asked as he stops and looks to the archers and guards around them "is that what you all desire? To be tainted in innocent blood?"
"w-we have no choice!" the guard exclaimed before Natsu holds his sword and points it to his neck
"then do it" Natsu told him "plunge this sword through me, be tainted in the blood of the innocent. Burden it as a curse that will haunt your family for generations to come"
The guard's hand was shaking as Natsu holds his sword, the blade nearly touching Natsu's neck
"if you desire to be free, and give hope, future, and life for your family" Natsu said as he pulled his hand away from the sword and reaches it to the guard "take my hand, and you shall achieve it"
Natsu looks up to the archers above and the guards bellow as they all look at him
"my kingdom shall welcome you all with open arms, but they cannot truly welcome you if you are oppressed" Natsu told them before looking to the guard in front of him "what is your answer? Be oppressed? Or be freed?"
The guard looks at Natsu as his hands were shaking before his sword fell down
"p-please…" the guard said before falling to his knees and then to his hands "…save us"
Natsu nodded as he looks to the archers and guards, they all pull down their weapons away
"evacuate your people and the slaves within" Natsu said as he holds his sword up and leans it against his shoulders "things are going to get heated up"
Natsu soon made his way to the giant door as he pushed it with one hand, the door instantly opened
He made his way in, passing by people who were in
The guard looks at Natsu who made his way to the kingdom's castle
He hoped that he can trust Natsu as many have tried and failed
"everyone! We need to evacuate!" the guard shouted out to the others "danger is coming!"
