At the hidden entrance of Dragnof
Guards were positioned around the area, some surveying the forest nearby while Ceros was sleeping, the Cerberus snoring in its sleep before its ears perked up and Ceros' eyes open
The Cerberus getting up as it looks to the sky and sees Natsu riding on top of Atlas
It started barking as some of the guards looks at Ceros before to the sky, and sees their king coming back with a guest
"our king is coming back!" a guard exclaimed as the other guards cheered
Before long, Happy came in first as the carriage stops at the front
"aye! We're back!" Happy cheered while Éclair and Momon looks at the entrance but hiding at the same time
"welcome back, Happy-san." A guard greeted Happy with a bow "have you and our king returned with new citizens?"
"aye, not just citizens" Happy said before looking to Éclair and Momon in the back "one of them is Natsu's mate"
"hooo!" the guards cheered as Éclair looks at them confused
Soon, Atlas landed on the ground with Natsu jumping off his head
"have anything occurred?" Natsu spoke as he walks towards the entrance while patting Ceros' snout a few times
"none, My king" a guard replied "but two days after you have left, we've received a few disturbing news"
"such as?" Natsu said as the hidden entrance door slides open
The guard handed Natsu a few letters as he takes it
"Elves, humans, Demons? and…." Natsu said as he reads the writer of the letters while going through the letters, he had before reaching the last one which is a bounty and wanted paper "..i see, that's why they said that I had a bounty on my head"
"this is act of war, my king. They do not know of your deeds in defeating the demon lord and saving many slaved races" the guard told Natsu "what is your actions towards this, my king?"
"I shall think of it later" Natsu said as Happy and Atlas went into the hidden tunnel, passing him "right now, I am more focused in these two letters"
Natsu opens the Demons and the Elvens letters; inside it was an invitation to a meeting with each of them
"elves desire to do an allegiance with my kingdom…" Natsu said reading the letters, one by one "..and so do the demons.."
The letters were soon burned in flames before the ashes were blown away by the wind
"I can already tell that they desire to have me as a force on their side" Dragnof said as he dusts his hands off. He soon started walking to the entrance "if there are more letters coming, send them immediately, understand?"
"yes, my king" the guard replied with a salute
"and remember to switch post during time, do not overwork yourselves" Natsu said with a hand wave "you all maybe the guards of the gates, but you are still the people of my kingdom"
"yes!" the guard replied with a smile as the stone door soon closes and shuts tight
Natsu walks within the hidden entrance before he reached the end and sees Atlas marvelling his sight upon Dragnof
"Dragnof….." Atlas Flame spoke out as he looks upon the kingdom "…how I miss you…"
"the Kingdom is still growing..but in time, Dragnof will be the glorious kingdom once again" Natsu said as he stood beside Atlas flame
"yes" Atlas said while nodding in agreement "It's truly a wonder for my eyes…to see my beloved home..once again"
"I'll have my people build your home, Uncle. Fitting for the Hellfire Dragon" Natsu said with a smile
"thank you, my king. Truly" Atlas replied as he looks to the citizens within the kingdom "Dragnof..the Kingdom of Dragons now filled with different races…how strange."
"Dragnof is not the same as it was in the past. I've decided to take in and live with kindreds of races who despise the wars. This place is the haven for them. I hope you understand and be able to live with them" Natsu told his uncle who nodded
"I understand, and I do not mind at all" Atlas said as he spreads his wings "if I may, I wish to spread my wings and fly in the sky…in the sky of my beloved home"
"be my guest" Natsu said as Atlas flames his wings before he flies to the sky and soars around Dragnof
Natsu looks at Atlas as the fire dragon roars and flies high to the sky
"welcome! To Dragnof!" a bunch of Cait Sith exclaimed as they greeted Éclair and Momon who were getting out of the carriage
Momon hugs Éclair as he looks to be in fear
"it's okay!" Happy said as he got off the driver seat "everyone here is nice!"
"but…" Momon whimpered a bit as Éclair hugs him close
"you two must be Éclair and Momon" a voice called out as Éclair looks forward and sees Lucy, Kagura, and Erza coming towards them with a friendly smile "welcome to Dragnof, your new home"
"you people are?" Éclair asked
"I'm Lucy Heartfillia, a Hakutaku" Lucy introduced herself before to the others "she's Kagura Mikazuchi, a Kraken; and she's Erza Scarlet, a Dullahan"
"pleasure" "nice to meet you" Kagura and Erza greeted the two as Momon hides behind Éclair's wings
"K-k-kraken!? D-d-dullahan!?" Momon stuttered out in fear
"it's ok! We're not going to hurt you! Not at all!" Lucy said while holding her hands up "none of us are!"
"we mean no harm" Kagura told the little bird
"you are safe in Dragnof" Erza stated with a smile
Éclair pats Momon's head before she looks at Lucy's and Erza's slightly bulging pregnant stomach
"both of you…" Éclair said while pointing at Lucy's stomach
"ah, I'm pregnant. Yeah" Lucy said while caressing her stomach
"were you forced into having his child?" Éclair stated "forced to live here?"
"well, we were mostly forced by these felines to get to the temple" Erza said while having a small glare to the Cait Sith who whistled
"but we were not forced into having Natsu's child" Kagura said as she showed Éclair; her two eggs. She caressed them with a gentle and loving smile "we wanted to bear his child, for what he had done for us"
"yes, he had saved all of us in our dire time" Erza said while patting her stomach "he had told us, we could leave here if we wanted. Our way of life is within our choices"
Éclair looks at the three as she could sense the truthfulness in their voices
"come on" Lucy said as she reached a hand to Éclair "we'll give you two a tour of the place"
Éclair blinks once as she looks at Lucy before to her hand
Her hand slowly reached to Lucy's hesitantly before holding it
Éclair and Momon were now brought around the kingdom as Lucy and the others showed them everything within the kingdom. From the giant library to the calm seaport
"and here is the last stop" Lucy said as she had brought Éclair and Momon to the Temple "the Dragon King's temple, one of the few remaining historical landmarks of the Dragnof in the past. It shows the history of the past Dragon Kings"
Éclair watched the giant temple while carrying Momon as the two marvelled at the giant size temple
"this is also where the mating ceremony will begin" Kagura added in "we'll see you in the next three days, alright?"
"i-I know.." Éclair said while hugging Momon a bit tighter
"we'll watch over Momon for you" Erza said volunteering "and that egg you had brought with"
"thank you" Éclair said as she passed Momon to Lucy who carried him
Before long, Natsu came flying in and landing near them
"yo, sorry it took me a while" Natsu said "had some things to take care of. Did you two like the tour, Lucy and the others give?"
"it was….fun" Éclair said while pausing at the center
"good" Natsu said with a nod before looking to his other mates "you all feel fine?"
"we're fine, just a bit sluggish" Erza said while caressing her stomach
"don't worry, we're fine. We will always be fine here" Lucy told him
"I just wanted to make sure, that's all" Natsu said before looking to the eggs, Kagura carried with her tentacles
He caresses one before feeling it shake a little
"seems to me that we might have one hatching soon" Natsu said with a chuckle as he leans his forehead to the egg, it soon glowing a bit red
"just a few more days" Kagura said with a smile as Natsu nodded before standing up
He went to Éclair and holds a hand out to her
Éclair gently takes it as Natsu holds her close
"we'll be going to the temple for the ceremony now" Natsu said as he started to lead Éclair into the temple "see you guys in 3 days and remember to take things easy"
"we know" Kagura said as she and the others did a small hand wave
Natsu waved back as the stone door slides down and closed. Sealing them in
"now then" Erza said "why don't we go and take a night stroll?"
"yes" Kagura said as she carried one of her eggs by hand and it was shaking a bit "I think this one would enjoy it too"
"which reminds me, what creature laid that egg?" Lucy asked as when they heard of Éclair and Momon bringing an egg, none of them knew what creature laid the egg "that egg is really red, almost crimson actually"
"we don't know, Éclair and I just found it in Atlas's volcano where we made our nest there" Momon said "it was just sitting there, alone"
"a red egg, it's red, and was found in a volcano…" Lucy said while humming as she rubs her chin "I think I need to check the egg just to make sure"
"you think you figured out the creature that laid the egg?" Kagura asked
"it's not a Dragon egg because it's kinda small, nor a Phoenix egg. So I'm probably thinking that it's a Salamander egg" Lucy replied "those type of reptiles are known to nest in volcanoes, and sometimes would leave their eggs there if they don't have enough food source"
"then let's check if after our night stroll" Erza said as the two nodded before they head away
Momon looks to the temple as Éclair was inside while he was outside
"is Éclair going to be okay?" Momon asked while looking worried
"she'll be alright" Lucy said while caressing Momon's head "the contract states that she is now Natsu's mate, therefore they have to go through the mating ceremony"
"if she doesn't want to mate with him, she can just say 'no' and he'll stop" Kagura added in "he might even break the mating contract and let you two live here as free as you want
"he doesn't force people into doing things" Erza stated "that's how Natsu is"
Momon frowns a little before Lucy pats his head a few times to calm him down
"come on, we'll go to the Were restaurant tonight. I'm sure Sho and the others can make some delicious bean cornet" Erza said as Momon looks excited in an instant while drooling a bit
"a little gluttonous, isn't he?" Kagura said while giggling a bit
In the temple, the torches lit the hallway as Natsu leads Éclair in it
"it's just right around this corner" Natsu said as he turned a corner with Éclair following
They soon reached a room and in the room was the crimson bed, surrounded with candles and a single closet
"wait a minute" Natsu said as he entered in first while Éclair looks at the bed then their surrounding area
Natsu went to the closet as he opened it. Inside were clothes, wine, and pillows
He rummages around the inside as he looks inside for something
"I can't" Éclair spoke out as Natsu turns to look at her by the bed
"what do you mean?" Natsu asked "you can't do what?"
"I can't do this….i'm sorry" Éclair said while looking away from him as she holds her hands together "I know that it's part of the contract…but I can't…"
Natsu looks at Éclair as he slowly went to her
"I'm thankful that you gave me and Momon a new home, a place that is safe for us both…but.." Éclair stated out as her body was now shaking "..i just can't…..my body….my body.."
She soon felt arms around her back as Natsu gently pulled her into a hug
"I know, I know..you don't have to say it anymore" Natsu whispered to her "if you don't want to..i won't force you..it's ok, Éclair. It's ok"
"I'm sorry.." Éclair muttered out as Natsu sighs but had a smile
His hands slowly pulled away as Éclair soon sees a vision. In the vision, she sees everything burning in black flames, everything was gone
"wait!" Éclair exclaimed as Natsu looks at her, his hands nearly away from her
"what's wrong?" Natsu asked as Éclair's eyes were wide and quivering
Éclair soon realized what she was doing as she thought she was hallucinating
"n-nothing…" Éclair said while looking away
Natsu didn't buy it as he knows that something was wrong with Éclair
"Éclair…you….you had a vision, didn't you?" Natsu said as he got closer to her "a vision…of the future?"
Éclair stayed silent as she frowns sadly before feeling Natsu's hand gently holding hers
"did you?" Natsu asked in a whisper as Éclair wanted to look away but the man gently cups her cheeks and made her look at him "it's alright, there's nothing for you to be afraid of"
Éclair sighs as she looks away before nodding to him "yes" she said in a whisper
"you have the power of the sight….i've heard that Phoenix had the power to create illusions but never that one" Natsu said while rubbing his chin "you must've been born with it."
"i had these visions, ever since I was little" Éclair said as she looks at her hand "I see them in moments before an incident, or the future..i saw many visions; some were good, the rest aren't as good."
"I saw many visions of death," Éclair holds her arms tight as her body shakes a little "other people's death, Momon's death, my death, and even…yours"
Natsu looks at Éclair as he could hear tears dripping down to the floor
"I've hated this power of mine, it's like a curse to me" Éclair stated "I saw so many deaths, that It nearly drove me to the point of madness…I couldn't bear it"
"can you control it?" Natsu asked but Éclair shook her head in response
"when I met you…." Éclair said as she remembered the vision of seeing herself with Natsu, and the three eggs "I saw another vision…it was a bright and nice vision…but…when your hands were pulling away..it all burned in black flames!"
"then.." Natsu said as Éclair turns towards him, her tears dripping down her eyes
"I don't know…I don't know!" Éclair cried out in tears "I don't know anything now!"
Éclair holds her hands to her face as she started to break down
"I don't know if I still want to live! I don't know if I have a heart! I saw many deaths! I didn't do anything to prevent them from happening!" Éclair screamed out, her kneels buckling as she drops to the floor "I don't know if I should die! I don't know which path to choose! I don't know if I can love you! I don't know if I can be with you! I don't know anymore!"
Natsu looks at Éclair as her outburst, made his eyes grew wide
"I don't know….anymore" Éclair cried out as her tears endlessly drips to the floor "my heart…my mind…they're telling me no and yes at the same time….this is breaking me…apart"
Before long, Éclair was pulled into a gentle and warm embrace by Natsu who holds her close
"eh…" Éclair looks at Natsu as the Dragon man holds her closer
"it's fine if you don't know…I'll tell you" Natsu whispered to her gently "i..will guide your way. So it's fine now! You aren't alone; I, Momon, and everyone…we're here. We will show you the path to take and help you through it. So, let us help you, Éclair. You aren't alone in this world! Never!"
Éclair eyes widen as more tears started to fall down her eyes
"I can't….i can't accept anyone's help…..i am sinned….i am tainted…this mind…this body…everything about me is tainted!" Éclair cried out "I can't…be helped….be loved…anything!"
"I don't care!" Natsu exclaimed as he looks at Éclair, and she sees the tears in his eyes "I am also sinned! From the very moment I was born! I am sinned! Sinned because of what an abomination I was born into! I am sinned because I caused the death of my father and my mother! I am sinned because I killed the Demon King who was my half brother!"
Flashback
In the land of darkness, the realm of the Demons
The Castle of the Demon King was burned as everything was turning into ashes
Corpses of trolls, ogres, orcs, Demons, skeletons, and etc. minions of the Demon King all dead
within the Demon King's Castle, black flames burned everywhere as the castle was collapsing soon
Natsu was standing in the middle of it all as the Dragon man holds his broad sword and had impaled it to the Demon King
The two stood in the center of the flames, the Demon King holding onto Natsu while the Dragon Man huffs his breathing
"well done…" the Demon King said as Natsu's sword pierced his heart, broken through his demonic armor. The Demon King's helmet soon breaks into pieces and revealed an innocent and kind looking black haired young man's face with blood covering him but he had pointy ears with the addition of small black horns on each side of his head "..Natsu..Dragneel.."
Natsu looks at the man as the Demon King had tears running down his eyes
"if….if our mother had stayed with father….you would've been born…as a true demon…and my true little brother" the Demon King said with a smile before he slowly fell down "thank you…for ending my eternal suffering and torment…my…little brother…"
The Demon King soon fell down to the ground as Natsu was covered in the Demon King's blood
Natsu looks at his bloodied hands as he gritted his teeth before letting out a loud roar. The flames raged and burned everything to the ground
Flashback
"no one in the world! Not anyone knows it! Nobody knows that their hero is the Demon King's half-brother!" Natsu stated "no one…even myself"
Éclair's eyes were wide as they were bewildered of what Natsu had told her
"I am sinned, just like you…but" Natsu said as he looks at Éclair's eyes and holds her cheeks gently "..we're alive…we can make a difference…together.."

Natsu smiles before he looks at the eggs as one egg was red while the other two were gold and had feather like design around them
"this one is going to hatch a Dragon, but these two aren't" Natsu said looking at the eggs even closer "I'd say these ones are going to hatch some phoenixes"
"yes" Éclair said as she lovingly smiles to her three eggs and holds them closer before looking at Natsu "Natsu, can I ask you a request?"
"name it and I will grant it" Natsu said with a smile
"I heard from Lucy and the others that you dream to repopulate Dragnof with Dragons once again, right?" Éclair asked as Natsu nodded "then, would you do the same with me?"
"what?" Natsu said looking a bit confused to her statement
"if your dreams is to bring back the Dragons, then my dream is to bring back the Phoenixes" Éclair said with a smile as Natsu looks at her with his eyes widen before they soften and the man let out a few chuckles
"if you desire it" Natsu said with a smile before kissing her lips and leans their forehead together "I shall grant it"
Éclair smiled as she placed her three eggs away gently before lunging at Natsu.
"wow!" Natsu exclaimed as he and Éclair dropped to the ground, the Phoenix planning for a morning make out "okay, I'll give in. no need to be so feisty"
Éclair kisses Natsu as the two went for the morning round while the three eggs laid on the bed, the Dragon egg falling forward while the two Phoenix eggs laid in their spot
