On with the story
In the sky, the Sky Dragon Grandeeney soars high into the sky, flapping her majestic white wings
Natsu rides on top of Grandeeney's back and so were Ranta with his Dark Elves companions who look rather green for some reason
"sorry to ask you to do this, Grandeeney" Natsu said with a smile "it's jus that Happy drank some wine accidently and couldn't bring the carriage"
"it is fine, My King" Grandeeney replied "I have long to spread my wings in the sky once again after such a long time"
"I just hope that Wendy would be able to take care of Kaithen and Levia with the others during our absence" Natsu said while rubbing his chin "those two hatchlings are somehow troublemakers already during birth"
"goes to show that their father was once a Troublemaker himself" Grandeeney replied with a few chuckles
"I somehow can agree to that" Natsu said with a sweatdrop and an awkward smile
"wait!" Wendy exclaimed in a frantic as she was chasing after Kaithen and Levia who were swimming away in the Kingdom's waterway, the two were supposed to be having a nap but instead just wanted to play some more
Wendy turned to a corner before accidently slipping and fell into the water way.
"mou~, please stop playing!" Wendy whined while almost crying before Kaithen and Levia soon came popping out of the water near Wendy and squirted some water at her
Wendy puffs her cheeks at the two hatchlings as they laugh by making squeaking sounds
"we should be arriving to your forest in a few moments" Natsu said as he looks to Ranta who looks to be holding in a coming vomit "are there anything else we are supposed to know when we arrive there?"
"there is -hmph!- thick forest trees that -haugh!- covers the village!" Ranta stated while moaning in pain a bit in his sentences "it might -haumph!- be a bit -auhh!- troublesome to find"
"I see, but don't worry" Natsu said "Dragons have a keen sense of smell, we can find your hidden village easily as you found my kingdom"
"I -auggh- see" Ranta said as he looks dizzy all the sudden
"are you Dark Elves not used to flight?" Natsu asked with a sweatdrop
"no…" Ranta said as he holds his stomach "we are more -auuugh- accustomed to being on land"
"Grandeeney, if you please." Natsu said "I don't want to see what Dark Elves barf out of their stomach"
"understood" Grandeeney replied as her body glowed white before dimming
Ranta and the Dark Elves looks at the shine as they soon feel better already
"was that?" Ranta said as he did not feel sick anymore
"Grandeeney is a Sky Dragon, one of the two element Dragons who possesses the power of healing. The other one being Water" Natsu explained "she casted Troia, it's a type of healing magic"
"amazing" Ranta said "truly thank you"
"you are welcomed" Grandeeney said with a smile before she smelled something "my king"
"I know, I smell it too" Natsu said as he wore his helmet on, his eyes soon glowing red
Grandeeney flied through a cloud and everyone soon sees black smoke, rising up from a forest bellow
"our home!" Barta exclaimed in shock as so were the other Dark Elves
"we're too late" Ranta said, his eyes filled with horror
"Not if I can say anything about it" Natsu said as he stands up, his wings spread out "join me as fast as you can, I'll handle this"
Natsu flaps his wings as he soars to the sky before dashing towards the forest at high speed
In the forest, everything was burning in flames
A horde of Goblins, Ogres, Trolls, and Orcs were raiding the Dark Elves village as they attacked everyone and everything in sight
Some of the Dark Elves villagers ran away in fear while some who were wearing ninja like outfits tried to fight back but were outnumbered and slowly killed
"Kyaaaa!" a female Dark Elf scream as some Goblins and Trolls approaches her while having sinister and lustful smirks
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Gunshots rang out as the trolls and Goblins were shot dead instantly
Natsu came flying in as the Dragon man landed in the burning forest
"run" Natsu told the female Dark Elf who ran away with the others before he started shooting his magic gun at every single one of the hordes
The Goblins, Trolls, and Orcs were killed easily with his magic gun, but the Ogres were a different story
The Ogres let out a roar as they hold up their giant clubs before charging at Natsu
"it's been a while since I killed Ogres" Natsu said as he grabs a hold of his broad sword on his back before swinging it forward "let's see how fast I can kill them"
The Ogres roared at Natsu as they slammed their clubs at him
Natsu blocked their attack with his broad sword as the ground breaks bellow him from the heavy attack
"not bad" Natsu said before he pushed them off and swings his sword once. Their heads were instantly decapitated from their body "but not good enough"
Natsu swings his sword up before he dashed at the horde at high speed
"Raaaah!" Natsu shouted out as he slams his sword down, causing a massive earthquake to nearly split the earth itself
"hurry!" Ranta exclaimed as he and the rest jumps off Grandeeney who landed near their village before running towards the path that will lead them to it
To their sights, they see their village burned down to the ground, ash marks everywhere
"were we…too late?" Ranta said as they look at the destruction
"we were not" Grandeeney said as she looks to the side and sees Natsu coming towards them while covered in blood "he made it in time"
"Lizardius! Our people!" Ranta exclaimed as he ran to him
"they are safe, they're currently recouping in a shelter, I create nearby" Natsu said as Ranta and the others sighed in relief
"thank goodness" Ranta said as he holds a hand to his chest
"come, there is much to do" Natsu said as he turns and started walking away. The others following him behind
A few minutes of walking, Natsu and the others arrived at the shelter as many Dark Elves were occupying the area
Barta and the other Dark Elves ran to their families as they were crying in tears because of the attack
"thank you, you had saved my people before the attack" Ranta said while wiping away some tears of relief
"do not thank me yet" Natsu said "the raid is far from over"
"Mother! Mother! Where are you!?" Barta exclaimed as he was looking around for his mother but could not find her "have anyone seen my mother?!"
Some of the Dark Elves frowned while some cried as Barta looks in horror
"no…Mother!" Barta shouted out as he started running around to find his mother. Before long he finds a field filled with bodies covered in blankets "Mother?"
Barta drops to his knees as tears soon drips down his eyes
"MOTHER!" Barta shouted out, his eyes filled with grief and anger
"Barta?" a feminine voice called out as Barta's eyes widen before he turns around to see a dark elf woman who had an arm in a sling
"M-MOTHER!" Barta shouted out as he runs to her and hugs her
Barta's mother hugged him back as she caresses his head gently
Natsu and Ranta went to them as the Dark Elf man went to his family. Natsu merely looks to them before walking away
After making sure that the Shelter is safe from any attacks, Natsu sat near a campfire with the rest of the Dark Elves near him
Some were marvelling at the sight of seeing Grandeeney as they had never seen a Dragon up close
"thank you" an old Dark Elf spoke out as he looks to be the elder of the village. The Elder wore what looks to be a sage like white coat upon him "you have saved my people from coming death"
"you must be the chief, aren't you?" Natsu asked as the elder nodded
"I am Warta Elfevn Aqart. 7th Village chief of the Aqart village" the elder introduced himself as he did a small bow "and you are the hero who had defeated the Demon King, Lizardius Natsu Dragneel"
Natsu nodded as his eyes glowed red behind his helmet
"I suppose that these attacks have happened multiple times already?" Natsu said as the Elder nodded
"yes…our forest that has protected us for decades..now have been burned away" Warta said with grief in his voice "our home…gone"
"yet you survive with your lives. That's all that matters" Natsu stated as he takes off his helmet to reveal his face to them all "tell me. Do you have a betrayer?"
"what? A betrayer?" Warta said in confusion "what do you mean?"
"Trolls, Orcs, Ogres, Goblins. These four races working together?" Natsu said "it's highly possible that someone is a mastermind behind these raid attacks. Someone who knows of the location of your village"
"but that's not possible..unless" Warta said as he rubs his chin
"unless what?" Natsu asked "you have someone that you had exiled?"
Warta nodded as some of the Ninja Dark Elves started chattering a bit
"it's possible that he has a hand in the attacks" Warta said as he reached into his sleeves and pulled out a scroll
He gave the scroll to Natsu who takes it and opens it, revealing a drawn picture of a Dark Elf with scars all over his neck up to his face
"his name is Patar, a talented and exceptional Ninja Dark Elf. But he was exiled in breaking a law that is sacred to us Dark Elves" Warta said as Natsu looks at the picture before to the elder
"and that is?" Natsu asked while looking curious
"necromancy" Warta said "he tried to perform necromancy to bring back his lost loved ones"
"I suppose that the Dark Elves had forbidden Necromancy because of the conditions of the ritual?" Natsu said as Warta nodded
"Patar performed the necromancy but it needs one Conduent into it and that is life" Warta explained "he kidnapped hundreds of humans and dark elves. Preparing to sacrifice them to bring back his loved ones. But we stopped him and exiled him forever"
"and I guess that Patar didn't take a liking to it" Natsu said as he rolled up the scroll and gives it back to Warta "not one bit"
"please, Lizardius Natsu Dragneel. We beg of your assistance" Warta said as he bowed to Natsu "my people will not survive another attack if you are not here. Please, we need your help"
"i cannot help" Natsu replied as Warta looks at him with wide eyes "you, Dark Elves should know that Dragons only maintain balance in the world. That is the main duty of our existence. We do not meddle in internal conflicts like this"
"but! You had told us that you shall help us!" Ranta exclaimed "we are in need of your power!"
"I only helped with saving your people from the previous raid" Natsu said "Dragons are neutral, we do not interfere in internal wars of the same races. That is the rule of the Dragons"
"please! We are truly in need of your help!" Warta exclaimed as he kneels down and begs to Natsu "we have lost too many, we won't survive!"
"I told you..that I cannot help" Natsu said before smirking "that is I as a Dragon, but I am a mercenary first before becoming a king"
"then!" Warta stated as Natsu nodded
"but you all know what must be done" Natsu said as he takes out a scroll and placed it in front of Warta "we, Mercenary have a code to live till we die. Breaking it is the same as becoming a pathetic and worthless man"
Warta took the scroll as he opens it to see the Contract. His eyes read the content as they squinted a bit before the Dark Elf elder sighs and nodded
"very well, I agree to these conditions" Warta said as Natsu gave him a quill pen
Warta signed it as the contract paper rolled up before flying to Natsu who caught it
"thank you for hiring" Natsu said with a smile before reaching his hand out "now, let us work together in riding the traitor, shall we?"
Warta nodded as he shakes Natsu's hand firmly
Night soon came as the wind was breezing through
The Dark Elves within the shelter all fell asleep while some who are children, slept on Grandeeney's soft and feathered back
Natsu however was at a cliff, over-looking the horizon and sees campfires from a far
"there, huh?" Natsu said as his eyes glowed red and he could see a bunch of trolls, Ogres, goblins, and orcs in a big crowd before he saw one cloaked figure "found him"
Natsu soon heard footsteps behind as he placed a hand to his sword on his back
He turns to look and sees Warta coming out of the shadows from the forest nearby
"I hope that I am not intruding" Warta said as he stood a few feet away from Natsu
"you're not" Natsu said as he takes off his helmet "having trouble to sleep?"
"in a way, yes" Warta replied "it's hard to sleep when the lives of an entire village now lies upon the hand of one man"
"I can feel that" Natsu said as he looks to horizon "I suppose that you didn't just come to chat, did you?"
"yes" Warta replied with a nod as he looks to the side and from the shadows came out a female dark elf, wearing a mask, a sleeveless purple coat, long slender gloves with bracers, and equally-long stockings are all that cover her light-skinned body. And her 'assets' are provided the bare minimum of coverage by her outfit "her name is Kamika Elfevn Aqart, my daughter, and the one…who shall be your mate"
"pleased to meet you" Kamika said with a bow to Natsu
With the signing of the contract, Natsu will help the village with one condition and that is one female Dark Elf must become his mate. Even if Natsu desires to help, he still has his dream of repopulating his kind, and that is why he must find more mates.
"ho?" Natsu hummed in amusement as he looks at Kamika before spotting a succubus like tail behind her back that has a little bell attached on the end "she's a half, isn't she?"
"yes, her mother; my wife was a Lesser Succubus" Warta said as he placed a hand to his daughter's shoulder "I hope that she doesn't bring discomfort to you"
"Not really" Natsu said as he rubs his chin "it's rare to meet a half. Especially a Succubus half"
Before long, they heard a loud racket coming from afar as it was coming from the horde of monsters
"it seems that your traitor doesn't care of rest" Natsu said as he looks to the giant horde and sees them readying to charge a full scale attack "nor does his minions"
"we must be ready to attack" Warta said, seeing the large scale of monsters coming to charge
"no, all of you do not need to do anything" Natsu said as he cracks his necks a bit before rolling his shoulders around "just stay within the shelter with Grandeeney, you'll be safe there till I get back"
"what shall you do?" Kamika asked as Natsu wears his helmet on and turns to look at her, showing his glowing red eyes behind his helmet
"extermination" Natsu replied as he grabs hold of his broad sword and draws it before slamming it down to the ground
The horde of monsters marched their way to the Dark Elves forest as they let out battle cries
"go! Take them all and kill those who retaliate!" Patar, the Dark Elf traitor shouted out as he is the mastermind in controlling the monsters "soon, my ritual will be complete!"
Before long, some of the Trolls, Orcs, and Goblins were killed instantly as Natsu's sluggers came flying and sliced them into pieces
"what?" Patar said as the Sluggers came flying into the air before coming back to Natsu who was standing in front of the horde "who?"
Natsu looks upon the horde as the Dragon Man placed his Sluggers away before grabbing hold of his broad sword and slams it to the ground
"about 180 of them left, huh?" Natsu said as he rolled his shoulders around before leaning his sword against his shoulder and started walking to the direction of the horde "hope my body won't be stinking of blood after I'm finished"
"kill that one! Make sure to torture him for his insolence of interfering in my plans!" Patar shouted
BANG!
A gunshot rang out as his arm was shot
"gah!? what!?" Patar looks in shock before more gunshots rang out as dozens of his hordes of Goblins, Trolls, and Orcs were all killed instantly
Natsu came in as he swings his sword to the side and a few of the Ogres had their heads decapitated instantly
The Dragon Man soon aimed his gun behind his head as he fired a few shots and killed a few Goblins that tried to jump at him
BANG! BANG! BANG! SLASH! SLASH! BANG! SLASH!
Natsu slaughtered them all as he fired his gun and swings his broad sword, killing them all in an instant
Patar looks at the slaughtering as each one of his minions were all getting killed so easily
In matter of minutes, his entire hordes of monsters were all dead and blood spilled everywhere
"Haaa.." Natsu let out a long sigh as his armor and weapons were soaked in blood "I'm going to take a long bath after this"
"w-what?! What are you!?" Patar exclaimed in shock "how are you able to kill so many of my minions!?"
Natsu looks at the Dark Elf betrayer as he sighs before pointing his gun at him
"I'm Lizardius Natsu Dragneel, a King and a wandering mercenary" Natsu said as two glowing red eyes appeared in his helmet's visors "remember that in hell"
BANG!
Parta went down as he had a bullet hole in the center of his head that was bleeding
"contract complete" Natsu said as he spins his gun around before placing it back to its holster
The night soon went away as the morning sun rises in the Moon's place
"thank you" Warta said as Natsu had done the deed and saved his people "truly thank you"
"it was nothing" Natsu said as he looks to the rest of the Dark Elves who bowed to him in gratitude "all of your people are now safe..for now that is"
"eh?" Warta said while looking confused "for now?"
"I don't think that this Parta just wanders around the land, finding monsters that are easy to manipulate. No, he had to get help from a Monster Tamer" Natsu said "if his donor finds out that a horde of monsters were killed easily in one night, more and more of them will come and destroy everything in their path. Meaning that they will come for your people again"
"then…it was all for nothing?" Warta said as Natsu shook his head
"not all is for nothing" Natsu told the Dark Elf "you and your people can still be safe"
"but how? Our forest is nearly burned away, and we won't survive anywhere else" Warta replied
"you will survive…" Natsu replied as he holds a hand out to him "..in Dragnof that is"
Warta looks at Natsu before to his hand as the man was offering him a safe haven for himself and his people
"come, and live within my kingdom" Natsu told him as Warta soon cried in tears before holding his hand tight
"yes!" Warta replied in tears as Natsu was a saviour to him and his people
