on with the story
A month had passed and things in Dragnof were as peaceful as usual but for the King, he is in a peril moment
Natsu stood outside Grandeeney's temple as just this morning, he heard that it was time for Lucy's labour, and his third child is going to come to the world
He was told to stay outside as medicine men and Healers were doing a birth procedure as they were not sure how she would be able to give birth due to her being a mammal species and Natsu, a Reptilian species
His enhanced hearing, heard Lucy's screams of pain inside as he could tell that she was in pure pain of giving birth to their child
Natsu rubs his face up and down as this was a crucial moment of her life; if a single mistake were to happen, he could lose her life, and their child
He heard small squeaking as Natsu looks down and sees Kaithen with Levia; the two sea Dragons grown bigger from the passing month, gnawing at his pants acting like they were trying to cheer him up
Natsu smiles to his two first born as he kneels down and petted their heads before he looks behind his shoulders and sees a red lizard with a flaming stripe on its back, climbing up his shoulder from down the back
The little red lizard is Flaze, a Salamandarian that hatched from the egg; Éclair and Momon brought with them. Flaze thinks that Natsu is his father and had been sticking to him for a while
"thanks" Natsu said before he heard loud squeaking sound coming from inside the temple
He looks inside as he sees a few medicine men and healers coming out as they made way for Natsu
thinking that the third child was born, Natsu rushed in with a smile while his Kaithen, Levia, and Flaze sticks on him as he rushes in
Natsu reached to the center of the temple as he sees Grandeeney having smile with Wendy who looks in awe
In the center was Lucy who was sitting on a bed that had some blood on it
Natsu went to her as he sees some reddish white fur beside her
"hey" Natsu greeted her as Lucy smiled before looking down her side
Natsu looks down and smiled as his third child was sleeping peacefully beside her
The third Dragon Hatchling looks to be a wingless Dragon but it had brownish red scales with reddish white hair on its neck running down to its tail and had little cow like horns on each sides of its head
"he's beautiful" Lucy said, deducing that the third Dragon child is a boy
"he is" Natsu said as Kaithen and the others looks at their new-born sibling who is sleeping
"what shall be his name?" Grandeeney asked as Kaithen and the others crawled down from Natsu and looks at the sleeping hatchling
"Touro, the Bull Dragon" Natsu said as Kaithen nudges his snout to Touro, getting the hatchling to wake up
Touro opens his eyes as it let out a yawn before looking around him
He sees his siblings, his mother, then to his father, the two parents smiling happily to him
Touro yawned before crawling near Lucy, nuzzling to her chest and going back to sleep
"seems like Touro is a sleepy head" Lucy said as she caresses Touro's head, the hatchling going back to sleep
"seems so" Natsu said with a chuckle as Kaithen, Levia, and Flaze started squeaking and squeaking to Touro who just sleeps
The day turned to noon as the kingdom was still in a celebration for Touro's birth
Natsu was at Sho's bar as he watched his three or rather four kids eat their meals
Touro ate a salad of grass, Kaithen and Levia ate fish and kelp, and Flaze..well he just ate meat
Natsu smiled as he watched his kids eat their meals like a happy father
Lucy, Kagura, Erza, Éclair, and Kamika sat aside as they watched the happy father smiling to the kids
"look how happy, he is" Kagura said smiling as Natsu petted Kaithen's head, the young dragon let out a squeak to his father "it's too adorable"
"so true" Lucy said as she was on a wheelchair, her body in need of rest after giving birth
"seems like we are a bit behind" Erza said while caressing her pregnant stomach, her child still growing within her
"yes" Éclair said as her three eggs haven't hatched yet
"and I am far behind" Kamika who wore her Kunoichi outfit said as she was now pregnant, her stomach slightly bulging under her uniform
Natsu petted Touro's head as the hatchling munches on the grass salad slowly, eating it like a cow
He chuckled with a smile before the door was slammed open
"Éclair! Éclair!" Momon came flying in as he looks to be panicking
"what is it, Momon?" Éclair asked as Momon flies to her
"the Phoenix eggs! They are about to hatch!" Momon exclaimed as Éclair's eyes widen in surprise "the two Phoenix eggs are going to hatch!"
"now!?" Natsu exclaimed while standing up, startling his kids who jumped down the table and hides under it, except for Touro who just eats his grass salad
"come on already!" Momon exclaimed as he flies out of the bar, Éclair following behind
"stay with the kids!" Natsu said as he chased after them, leaving Lucy and the others in the bar
"seems that Touro will have to share his birthday" Erza said as Lucy nodded with a smile
Natsu, Éclair, and Momon flied into the air as they went to Atlas Flame's temple, the place where the three eggs were placed at as they need constant warmth
Flying in, the three finds Atlas Flame who was looking down on the three eggs as the two Phoenix eggs were hatching but the Dragon Egg wasn't
"you've arrived, good" Atlas said as they approached the two eggs which were shaking
Éclair kneels as they watched the two eggs cracking
The cracks on the eggs were spreading before the two hatched at the same time and two little golden red bird hatchlings started chirping out in a pitch
"waaah!" Momon wowed as Natsu and Éclair smiled to the new hatchlings
"twins..male and female..surprising" Atlas said as Éclair carried the two hatchlings as they chirped to her
Natsu crouches down as he petted the two hatchlings while having a smile
"Momon" Éclair called out as Momon flied away for a moment before coming back with a piece of bread
"here" Momon said as Natsu takes the bread before ripping off two tiny pieces and crunched them up a bit
Natsu feeds the breadcrumbs to the two hatchlings as they ate it before chirping again to eat more
Tears drips down Éclair's eyes as she was now a mother to two Phoenix hatchlings
"what should we name them?" Momon asked while helping Natsu feed the two hatchlings
"I believe you should do the honours, Éclair" Natsu said with a smile as Éclair nodded to him before looking to the two hatchlings
"the girl will be called Éna" Éclair said looking to hatchling on the right before looking to the left "and the boy will be called Neel. Taking part of your father's name, Natsu"
"perfect" Natsu said chuckling as the two hatchlings now fed, nuzzles close to their mother
Momon giggled with a smile as the two were slowly falling asleep
Natsu pets their heads as they chirped in their sleep
"now, you two are no longer alone anymore" Natsu said as Éclair nodded before hugging her two children closer
"only the Dragon Egg remains" Atlas said as he looks down on the egg in his care "I do wonder what Dragon it shall be"
The next three days soon passed quickly as each day, Natsu spent them with his children
Natsu was now at a small children's park to which he had personally build for his kids
Levia was swimming around in a pond as it had an entrance tunnel connecting it to the city's waterway
Kaithen and Flaze were chasing after each other in a game of tag as they run around the park
Touro however was just sleeping by the bench with Éna and Neel who were in a basket beside him while Momon was watching over the two little birds as their babysitter
Natsu watched them as he smiled so joyfully to see that his dream will soon become reality
He enjoyed the peaceful time before it ended abruptly when a Kobold beastmen guard came running in to the park
"my king!" the guard exclaimed as he kneels before Natsu who turns to look at him "please forgive me for intruding you!"
"what is it?" Natsu asked the guard while looking at Kaithen and Flaze who now wrestles around each other
"letters from the Elves and the Demons have come yet again, my king" the Kobold guard replied before handing out two letters to the king
"again, huh?" Natsu said as he took the letters before reading the content
His eyes scanned the content before they squinted and glowed red
"pathetic" Natsu said as he scrunched up the letters into paper balls before burning them away "making such excuses"
"should we send a reply, my king?" the Kobold Guard asked as Natsu nodded
"deny anymore of their invitation but this time add in this" Natsu replied while dusting his hands off "any harmful act against my kingdom will be replied with horrendous consequences, I do not care if they threaten me, but anyone who threatens my family and my people will surely pay"
"yes!" the Kobold guard replied before standing up and running away to do his orders
Natsu sighs a bit before he sees Kaithen and Flaze starting to bite each other's necks and faces
"alright you two, knock it off" Natsu said as he breaks them up before getting his hands bitten by them which made Natsu sighs "why can't you two be like Touro and the others?"
A few hours later, Natsu was now walking around town; his children were with his mates as they were sleeping for an afternoon nap
"my king!" a human guard came running in as he bowed to Natsu
"what is it?" Natsu asked as the guard gave him a letter and it was from the Elf kingdom
Natsu takes the letter and reads it before he scrunched it up and burns it in flames
"how many times do I need to repeat myself?" Natsu said as he dusts his hands off "Dragnof shall not join any factions. Humans, Elves, Demons; no one"
"yes, I know. But if we do not; one of the factions will come and attack us" the guard said as Natsu just shook his head
"Dragnof won't be allowing anyone to come and attack" Natsu said as his eyes glowed red "I'll make sure of it"
"My King! Urgent News!" Warta came running in next as the Dark Elf Elder now become a citizen of Dragnof and Dragnof's Council member as he was currently the only one for now
"what is it, Warta?" Natsu asked before seeing the Dark Elf giving him a scroll
"Ranta and the Dark Elves forces had returned with terrible news" Warta said as Natsu takes the scroll and opens it
Natsu reads the content as he squinted his eyes
"how utterly foolish" Natsu said as he scrunched the scroll before it burns into flames "the humans and demons….they dare wage war upon us?!"
"they are coming from the west and the south, and they are coming with full forces." Warta said as Natsu's form turned Dragonic "what shall we do?"
"nothing" Natsu said as he burst into flames, his armor appearing before it equipped upon himself "I shall go there…personally"
