Ellie held the binoculars up to her face, scanning the empty horizon.

"Find anything, yet?" Charles asked her.

Ellie lowered her binoculars, groaning and slumping in her seat. "Nothing but ocean for miles ..."

Charles removed one hand from the wheel to check the compass that was sitting on the dash. "Well, we're definitely going the right direction ... this new Toppat boat must be pretty fast."

Ellie lifted the binoculars again. "Come on, give me something. Anything."

Henry managed to sneak out of storage unseen, somehow, gripping the strange device tightly.

Finally got it, he thought to himself.NowIneed to find a way off this ship ...

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a nearby electric door buzz open behind him, and his blood ran cold when he heard that familiar, not so friendly, robotic voice.

"I should'a known it was you!"

Henry didn't dare to turn around. Instead, he shot off like a rocket, holding onto the device for dear life. He could hear the metal footsteps charging after him.

Come on, come on!

Timed options emerged before him. He didn't care what they were. He just clicked on the closest one. A banana peel with tiny black eyes glared at him, and he attempted to throw it behind him.

Enthesis on 'attempted'. He somehow managed to drop the peel and step on it, and ended up skidding uncontrollably through the hall, and landing in an open fuse box. He screeched out in pain as his body was electrocuted.

FAIL!Looks like you're not 'peeling' very well.Retry

Henry groaned, lifting up his jumper to see a large burn scar on his side.

Ugh. Great. Another one ...

He pressed retry, then selected the next option.

This time, a mirror appeared in his hand. He heard Right Hand Man charge up a lazer, and skidded to a stop, holding the mirror toward the cyborg.

His plan was to reflect the lazer and fire it right back, but that didn't happen. The lazer went right through the mirror, shattering it and incinerating Henry quickly.

FAIL!I'llbe honest,Iactually expected that to work ...Retry

Then Henry had an idea. What if he did ... nothing?

There were some occasions where doing nothing in a quick time events actually worked. One timeline that sprung to mind was the one where he managed to escape the Wall because the warden had thought he had died.

He sighed, and pressed the retry button. It was worth a shot ... As he ran, he waited for the timer to run out.

As soon as it was empty, he felt something tangled around his legs. He stumbled toward and fell, banging his head hard on the floor.

"I got ya now!" Right Hand Man yelled.

Henry lifted himself up, extremely dizzy, and noticed that the cyborg had extended his arm and tripped him up.

He flopped back down, his vision quickly failing. He saw the Right Hand Man's steel feet. "You got a lo'a nerve showin' your face around 'ere, Stickmin."

Those were the last words Henry heard before passing out.

He was floating again. It was strange being back in this void, but something didn't feel right. It seemed ... darker, somehow. Little glitches buzzing in and out of existence. Is something broken? He didn't have time to question it further, as pain shot through his body. He doubled over, screaming as every joint in his body burned, and his hands started to go numb. Before he knew it, the distorted voices were back, ringing in his ears.
