On with the story
Days passed, things in Dragnof were good as always
Natsu was at his quarters as he watched with pride and joy upon his children
From Kaithen, Levia, and Touro who had learned to transform into human forms, now Ignisia, Kalard, Noir, Éna, and Neel as well
The six Dragon siblings now attained human form except for their newly born younger brother Eis and Flaze who cannot learn how to transform due to him not being half human. Natsu didn't know how Éna and Neel could transform as well but he didn't care as he only cared of them being healthy and safe
Every single one of his children had his or their mother's nearly identical appearances or both at the same time but with the addition of a part of their Dragon form; Ignisia looks like her mother but she had red scarlet Dragon eyes, Kalard had golden scales around his arms and legs, Noir had black mist covering his legs and arms, and both Éna with Neel had small wings on their back. All human-like but Dragon/ phoenix like
Eis growls to his father while riding on top of his head
"don't worry, you'll learn like the rest of them" Natsu told his 5th son as he could tell what he is saying
Natsu brought his children to their mothers as the man had to go on his royal duty and that would take 3 hours or so to finish
Right now, our attention is to Lucy and the others who were tending to their children
"hold still, Touro" Lucy told her son as she was polishing his little horns while Touro sat on her lap
"why do you have to do that?" Erza asked while carrying Ignisias who had fallen asleep already
"let's say that it's kinda tiring when you have heavy horns on your head" Lucy replied as she polishes her son's horns while grating it a bit, to lighten the weight "it's also bad and affect the growth too"
"I see" Kagura stated in while lifting Kaithen up and down with her tentacles, the two children were energetic and wanted to play lots "you planned things ahead, didn't you?"
"in a way" Lucy replied with a smile as she lifted her son and carries him "but there's still lots for me to learn, being a mother is no easy thing to learn after all"
"true" Éclair said as Kalard, Éna, and Neel slept on her lap while she watched over them "it somehow strange…it still felt like just yesterday that they were born and we became mothers to them.."
"i feel the same" Kamika said as she pats Noir's back a few times, getting the child to fall asleep "I was a mere Kunoichi who awaits my mission in the shadows, but now I am a mother to this little one"
"and I was a queen of a cold freezing tundra of a kingdom" Ultear added in as she holds a ball of ice that Eis was biting and licking on, eating it if you will "but now a mother to my little hatchling as well"
"lucky you guys" Cana said as she wore normal citizens clothing rather than her tribal clothes, her dress covering her pregnant stomach "I have to hold back the liquor because of being pregnant"
"you'll understand once you give birth" Lucy told Cana
"yeah, I heard that it's painful as hell so no thanks" Cana said as she drinks a mug of water due to her being pregnant
Natsu was with his five councilmen as they were in a deadlock discussion
"should we accept, my king?" Warta told Natsu who was looking at a piece of paper that was a letter from the Elves of the Eternalia forest "this is bound to happen sooner or later"
"I know" Natsu replied as he sighs a bit "but I do not like this…this seems.."
"strange, no?" Bob said while having a serious face "the Elves of the Eternalia Forest are not only known as a superior race after the Dragons, but they are a race of pure pride"
"for them to ask a royal meeting with you…this is peculiarlly strange, is it not?" Makarov added in as Natsu nodded
"even so, there are things that even the Elves would even fear" Warta stated "and that fear would be…"
"being cornered into a war from between?" Oldmine said as he crossed his arms "things like this are bound to happen now that Dragnof is getting famous by the passing day"
"yet the questions still remain" Oba baba added in as she peeked an eye open "should we or should we not come to their invitation? Could this be a plot or not? And so on…."
Natsu crosses his arms on the table as the king looks upon the letter of invitation from the Elves once again
"reject it" Natsu said as he touched the letter and it burns into ashes "send a letter in return, unless they would tell us on what is it that they want, I shall not step out of my kingdom for the sake of a meeting"
"I shall get right on to it" Warta said with a nod as Natsu nodded back
Soon the door had a few knocks and a Kobold Guard came in
"excuse me, my king" the guard stated while bowing
"this is a private meeting, you know" Old mine stated "this better be important"
"Barta and the rest of the Dark Elves corps had just returned with news of the outside" the guard stated before holding a scroll that soon floats towards Natsu who caught it
Opening the scroll, Natsu read it before sighing
"I guess that it is not grave news?" Makarov asked with a raised eyebrow
"no" Natsu replied as he gave the scroll to Makarov who took it and reads it, his eyes soon widening "it's just a pathetic news"
Makarov reads the scroll as it was a warning script from the many kingdoms in Fiore, they all aiming to war against Dragnof
"Rawartian kingdom, Partanis Kingdom, Melorina Kingdom, Fiore Kingdom, Pegranade Kingdom, Stella Kingdom and Rutalfa kingdom…..the seven Major Kingdoms of Ishgar…act war against Dragnof!?" Makarov stated in shock as the other councilmen were shocked as well
"this is outrageous! I understand the other kingdoms but why my former kingdom would act war!? This is so unlike the king to take such actions!" Oldmine exclaimed as he stood up on his seat
"this is bad…Rawartian, Melorina, Pegranade, and Stella Kingdoms. Those four kingdoms have a large scale military forces upon and each have their own trump card" Bob stated with a frown
"a coming war….to the kingdom of Dragnof" Oba baba said clenching her hands into tight fists "will it come? That war?"
"must we take action in this war?" Makarov said as he grips the scroll tightly
"wait! We cannot take such actions!" Warta stated "we must think calmly and act by the response to our king!"
Natsu look in deep thinking of the act of war as this might bring another end to Dragnof
"king, if we do not act.." Makarov stated as Natsu nodded
"war is upon us" Natsu said as he intertwines his fingers together "even with all of the power within me. and the lava golems surrounding Dragnof's border range….Melorina and Partanis kingdoms are known as aerial and naval strikers…and the Stella Kingdom with the Pegranade Kingdom are known as the two top kingdoms with a high amount of unimaginable magic forces...unimaginable forces that could even destroy Dragnof in mere seconds"
"my king, our people. Your people would do anything to serve your kingdom, in anyway possible" Makarov stated "if we don't act against, our casualties will be more than that of theirs!"
"even if we did...i know of some individuals in each of those kingdoms who are known for their reputation in slaughtering beastmen of any races" Natsu said as there has been many reputable warriors, slavers, berserker, or any individual in many kingdoms who all knows the weakness of the many beastmen race "even i would have some trouble in handling them all at once"
"what of Grandeeney and Atlas Flame?" Bob asked "surely, with their power"
"Grandeeney was an Elder Dragon in Dragnof's Council and one of the few most powerful Dragons to have ever lived" Natsu said "i found her and her child, enslaved in Erza's former kingdom. i had once thought that nothing in this world could enslave a Dragon until that day. i have feared that humans have now come to the possession of some sort of ability that allows them to conquer beings powerful like Dragons"
"this is truly a grim situation" Oba baba stated with a frown
Natsu place a hand to his forehead as his kingdom will be under siege from all sides, and it could endanger countless of his citizens
"I must protect them! I must protect my mates! My children! My people!" Natsu screamed out in his mind before a thought rang through his head "Panzigua…"
"Panzigua? The Easter bordering continent?" Makarov asked, hearing what Natsu had spoken out
"Warta, get Barta and the others to find which kingdom is preparing the war in this instant" Natsu told Warta who nodded in surprise
"y-yes, but for what, my king?" Warta stated before seeing Natsu stand up
"preparation" Natsu replied before looking at Oba Baba "is it possible to freeze the ocean water with the Icians power?"
"our ice is cold but it is strong" Oba baba stated with a nod
"good" Natsu said before he looks at the other councilmen "prepare any willing citizens for the coming war, make sure that we reduce any possible damage that comes to us and the kingdom"
"at once, my king" Warta, Bob, and Oldmine replied
"my king, what of you?" Makarov asked
"i need to go to Pazingua" Natsu said as his armor soon appeared and equips on him "i have an old friend who can help us get rid of any possible enemies..."
Natsu's helmet equipped on before its faceplate slides closed and red eyes glowed behind its visors "For good"
