The ex thief opened several draws and cupboards, desperately searching for that device.
Where is it, where is it!?He felt himself panic. That device was the reason he came to this ship in the first place. He didn't even know why he needed it. He just did. He looked up, and saw a faint, green glow from on top of a filing cabinet.
There you are ...
Hmm ... how was he gonna get up there? Well, he definitely had new choices to pick from.
Climb
Stretchums
Tobias's Leg
Hmmm...Henry selectedClimb. He then pulled out some draws of the cabinet. He stepped on each draw like they were stairs, and reached up as high as he could. His fingers barely touched the antennae.
Come on ... almost ... got it ...
He felt the cabinet start to move backward.
"No no no NONONONONONONO!" He yelped, trying to scamper away, but his efforts were left useless as the heavy cabinet crushed him. He felt every bone in his body shatter.
FAIL!Flattened by your own guilt. Happy now?Retry
Every fail was slowly driving Henry insane...
He selectedStretchumsnext. He knew this wasn't going to work ... it certainly didn't work back when he was infuriating the airship ...
He opened the colourful packaging and pulled out a green gummy. He game it a little squish before popping it in his mouth. He chewed for a bit, then swallowed.
With a deep breath, he threw his hand, feeling his arm stretch five times it's length. It bounced off of the top of the cabinet and slapped Henry's face, leaving a sting right between his eyes.
FAIL!HeheheheheheheheheheheRetry
The universe was laughing at him.
Literally.
One option left. He picked up the prosthetic leg and lifted it up high, using the foot end to try and reach the device. He managed to push the device to the edge.
Almost ...
The device fell, and Henry caught it before it hit the ground.Gotit!
He pocketed the device, ready to leave.
He opened the door, checking around the corner to see if anyone was coming. All he could see was Tobias coming back down the hallway alone, hopping on his good leg.
"Are you okay?" Henry signed.
Tobias shrugged it off. "I'm fine. Those guys were too busy searching for my leg, that they didn't notice me leave!" He giggled a bit.
Henry handed the boy back his prosthetic and watched as he popped it back on with little effort.
Tobias stood up straight. "Now, let's get out of here before they realize."
Henry nodded, and the pair made their way down the hall.
Maybe trusting Tobias wasn'tsucha bad idea after all... Henry thought.Maybehe actually was tellingthetruth earlier.
Of course, he still didn't let his guard down. Who knows what else would happen next...?

Charles opened his eyes. He yawned and sat up, stretching his arms above his head.
It was bright outside, now. He must've slept for a while. He rubbed his eyes and stood up, making his way toward the cockpit.
Ellie turned around. "Good morning, Captain!" She joked. "Sleep well?"
Charles shrugged. "I've slept better ..."
He and Ellie swapped seats, and Charles switched off the Auto Pilot.
He still must've looked a bit sad, because Ellie looked at him cheekily.
"Why are you looking at me like that...?"
"Oh, no reason~" she teased. "I just remembered a song..."
Charles tilted his head at her. "A song, huh? Which one?"
She had definitely peaked his interest.
The red head smiled. "Hmmm... I can't quite remember it well, but I think it went like ..."
"I'm waking up~
breathing in clean air~
What a day, yeah~
What a sunny, funny day~"
Charles look at Ellie, shocked. She had remembered his favorite song.
"Are you trying to make me feel better?"
Ellie grinned cheekily. "Maybe~..." she chuckled. "Go on, your turn!"
Charles sighed, and sang the next few lines.
"I feel so high, I can't deny~
A little better than okay~"
His heart lifted, and he felt ten times better. He couldn't help but do a little dance in his seat.
"Nowhere to go~
I shoot for stars, I'm Galileo~
Pack your bags and don't be late~"
Ellie started drumming on her legs to create a beat. And Charles kept singing.
"The scenery flies before my eyes
Don't you dream of home, 'cause it'll have to wait~"
The pair kept on singing at the top of their lungs. After the song had finished, they were giggling like children.
"Hehehehe... Thanks, Ellz ... I really needed that."
Ellie smiled, satisfied. "We both did. Henry wouldn't want us to be sad."
That was definitely true. No matter how bad things got, Henry always told them not to worry. Even when he had his worst nightmares, Henry tried his best to seal away his feelings, just so they wouldn't worry so much.
That kind of thing only made Charles worry more.
"I sure hope he's okay ..." Charles looked out the window, scanning the horizon. No boat yet.
Ellie leaned back in her chair. "Me too, bud. Although, we've seen those scars. He's obviously been through worse. I'm sure he'll pull through... whatever the hell it is."
Charles nodded.
I know Henry's strong...He thought.But ... if anything goes wrong ...
Will it be enough?
