In the vast and broad ocean
The seagulls flied in the air, the blue ocean water swaying around with mermaid jumps in the air before diving back into the waters with Dolphins
The mermaids all laugh with each other before they dived down in the water when Catastoras came running past them on the water
Natsu rides Catastoras while wearing his armor as the mechanical horse runs on top of the ocean water
"go! Catastoras! You're more faster than anything in this world, right?!" Natsu exclaimed as he whips the railings one getting Catastoras to neigh loudly "show me that speed once more!"
Catastoras neigh louder before running even faster
"Panzigua….i never thought that I would come to that continent ever again" Natsu muttered out as he sees a harbor coming into view with dozens of wooden ships sailing around
Flashback
"Panzigua!? You're going to Panzigua!?" Gildarts exclaimed at Natsu as the two were at the kingdom's docks while the Icians were freezing the kingdom's borders, creating a giant ice wall "you must be insane to go there!"
"I am" Natsu said as hangs a sack over his shoulders "I've been there once, and I'm going there to get help"
"sure Panzigua have many amazing beastmen and all but you do know what that continent is going through, right?" Gildarts stated "that country is still undergoing civil war!"
"I know" Natsu replied "the last time I went there, I barely made it out with Happy. So this time I'm going alone"
War was coming as Natsu was going to Panzigua, the Eastern Continent
"you can't be serious" Gildarts said "the soldiers there aren't like the ones here! They're all ready to kill on sight! I had to fend them off just to get Cana-chwan and I out of there!"
"I am serious" Natsu said as he whistled before Catastoras came running to him "I am serious about this because I need to bring back help to defend Dragnof from the coming war"
"you can't go alone, it's suicide" Gildarts said "the moment you get there, ships will start firing at you!"
"I know" Natsu said before getting on Catastoras' back "but I have Catastoras with me"
Natsu whistled again as Hyrus arises out of the water and Cerus came running in from the town
"I'll be away for a few days at the most, Gildarts" Natsu said "in my absence, you with Gajeel and the rest of the Councilmen, try to delay the coming war. By any means necessary"
"alright, I get it" Gildarts said "but remember to come back alive, you're the dad of my future grandkids after all"
Natsu nodded before whipping Catastora's reins once as the Mechanical War Horse neighs and then runs on top of the water and into the ocean entrance
flashback
"maybe I should've brought Happy with me" Natsu said as he was riding Catastoras stirring the horse to avoid flying cannon balls that were fired from the ships "what a welcoming"
The ships fired their cannons as cannonballs came raining down on Natsu
Natsu grabs his magic gun as he aimed and fired at a cannonball before causing it to explode and creates a chain reaction that blew up the other cannonballs
Soon more cannonballs came flying as Natsu stared firing his magic gun at them, blowing them all up
"Catastoras!" Natsu exclaimed as he kicks Catastoras' side, the war horse neighs loudly before bolts of lightning came flying out of its mouth
The lightning strikes at a ship's side, creating a hole that was sucking in water and sinking the ship
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Natsu started firing his gun at the ships as he makes holes on their body's side, causing them to sink one by one
Before long, all the ships were sinking one by one as the crew were all swimming in the ocean's water
"that's all of them" Natsu said as he spins his gun before putting it back into its holster
Natsu whips Catastoras' reins once as the war horse soon runs to the close harbor town
At Dragnof
The kingdom's borders were being surrounded in ice as all the citizens were told to stay put within their homes, not allowing anyone to go out or in the kingdom
"how is it going on here!?" Gildarts called out as Gray and Lyon were freezing up the borders of the kingdom with other Icians
"all done!" Gray replied before he and Lyon jumps down to the streets "it's as thick as the ground itself"
"it won't be easy to break it" Lyon added in with a smile
"Gildarts! There's bad news!" Barta came jumping in while looking tired as the dark elf had some blood covering his face
"what is it!?" Gildarts exclaimed as he sees the blood covering the dark elf's face "you..where did you?"
"no time for that! At the Eastern, Northern, and Western Borders large battalions of soldiers are coming to Dragnof!" Barta exclaimed, causing everyone's eyes to widen
"now!?" Gildarts exclaimed before a giant ball of fire came flying to the ice wall, and causing a big explosion that shook the ground
"an attack!?" Gray exclaimed
"that's just impossible!" Lyon stated in shock before another fireball came and shook the ground yet again "this is the southern location! Are there enemies coming from the sea?!"
Gildarts jumped up to the ice wall as he started to climb up
Gray and Lyons look to him then to each other before they followed Gildarts
Gildarts stood above the ice wall as his eyes were wide as saucers
"this is just…insane" Lyon said as giant battalion of ships were coming from the seas, invading into Dragnof's sea borders
"not only that!" Gray exclaimed as he pointed to the side as the two looks and sees small shadows of what appears to be large battalion coming to Dragnof
"from all sides!?" Gildarts exclaimed in shock before a fireball came hitting the ice wall, nearly making the three fall down "let's get down and prepare!"
"but the ice walls!" Lyon exclaimed before a powerful magic blast fired at the ice wall, causing a tremor and nearly made him fell if it weren't for Gildarts who caught him in time
"it'll hold for now! but it won't hold on if it gets hit with dozens of fireballs and powerful magic blasts!" Gildarts stated as he looks to the battalion ships before he grabs Gray and Lyon, then jumps down to dodge a fireball that came flying and nearly hits them
"guh!" "gah!" Lyon and Gray fell down on their face while Gildarts on his feet "warn us next time!"
"your welcome" Gildarts said before he whistles loudly and Happy with a bunch of Caith Siths came running in
"aye! What can we do, Gildarts!?" Happy exclaimed
"get all the women and children to safety, contact Atlas and Grandeeney of the coming attacks, we need all the help we can get" Gildarts said as Happy nodded before saluting
"Aye sir!" Happy exclaimed before all the Caith Siths all ran away at high speed
Soon the ground shook again as more fireballs came hitting the ice wall
"let's get our queen to help" Lyon said "she's the only one amongst the Icians who can freeze them in their tracks"
"alright, but remember" Gildarts stated "anything would happen to her"
"we know" Gray said before the ground shakes and rains of magic blasts started coming over the ice wall and down to Dragnof, explosions coming after
"better start getting her on the scene quick!" Gildarts exclaimed as they shielded their eyes from explosions that came everywhere before more magic blasts started raining down
Natsu was riding Catastoras in the Continent Pazingua as he was in their borders where he now rides along the scorched land of a war
"how horrible" Natsu said as there were corpses of humans, and beastmen everywhere. Ranging from women, men, and children "they couldn't understand each other and this is the result. Foolish"
Catastoras walks around as Natsu looks in front before he grabs his gun and swings it to the side, firing instantly
BANG!
The shot was fired as a human soldier went down, dead
"a patroller" Natsu said while placing away his magic gun away
Natsu soon heard loud explosions and turns to see the field raining in flaming arrows before seeing a few beastmen running away from human soldiers
"let's go, Catastoras!" Natsu exclaimed as he whips the reins and Catastoras started running
Beastmens were running away as they were not the typical Ishgar Beastmen, they are the native Pazingua's Beastmen
An Ittan Momen Girl, a Bake Tanuki Girl, Three Kamaitachi Girls, and a Chochi Obake.
All of them wounded but they just run as fast as they can from the human soldiers who were hunting them down
"get them!" "I want that Bake Tanuki's head!" "kill the Kamaitachi but leave the supple one for me!" "get rid of them!" the human soldiers shouted as they wield Katanas while some fired arrows
The beastmen runs away before one of the Kamaitachi had her leg struck by an arrow which causes her to fall
"got her! Get them!" the human soldier shouted out as the rest charged
The other two Kamaitachi girls went to their injured kin as the human soldiers got closer and closer to them
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Multiple gunshots were heard as 7 of the human soldiers were shot and killed instantly, causing the other soldiers to halt their charge
The beastmen looks to the side and sees Natsu riding Catastoras who neighs loudly as they ran in front of the beastmens
"carry her out, I'll buy you all some time and cover" Natsu told the beastmen as he draws his large sword before raising up to the sky
Catastoras neighs loudly as the skies darken and thunder rang
Before long lightning struck Natsu's sword, coating it with electricity
"go!" Natsu exclaimed as the two Kamaitachi girls carried their injured kin before joining the other beastmen in running away
"get them!" "they're escaping!" "he's one of them!" the human soldiers shouted as they charged
Natsu holds his electrocuted sword up before he swings it to the side, sending a wave of electricity flying at the soldiers, blowing them away
"Gaaaahh!" they all shouted in pain as they flew to the air before falling to the ground
"let's go" Natsu said as he whips Catastoras's reins once before the war horse runs away, leaving the injured human soldiers
Natsu was now with the beastmen who were chased by the human soldiers as they had taken shelter in a cave
"here" Natsu said as he takes out herbs from his bag "this will help"
"you…why did you help us?" the Chochi Obake asked while Natsu tended to one of the wounded Kamaitachi girls
"it's because I'm a beastmen too" Natsu said as his faceplate slides open to reveal his face that was soon covered in red dragon scale "tell me, which direction do I need to go to get to Harawita?"
"H-Harawita?! A-are you mad?! That place is a deadzone for beastmen!" the Chochi Obake exclaimed with wide eyes
"no beastmen have ever come to that empire.." the Ittan Momen girl said while hugging the bake tanuki girl "…and come out alive.."
"that's true, no beastmen did" Natsu said as he stands up "but a Crosian have"
"Crosian….could it be that you are!?" the Chochi Obake exclaimed in shock as the dragon scales around Natsu's face soon disappeared "t-that legendary! Lizardius!?"
"yeah, but I go by the name Natsu" Natsu said before his place slides close "you all should head west to Marashita, that place still exist, right?"
"y-yes, but how do you know of it?" one of the Kamaitachi girls asked "only Pazingua's beastmen know of it"
"let me just state that I once went there and befriended someone" Natsu said before he gets on Catastoras "with me here, they'll focus all their soldiers on me. Leaving you all the moment needed to escape"
Natsu whips Catastoras' reins as the war horse neighs before running out of the cave
"Lizardius…isn't that the name of the hero who defeated the Demon Lord in Ishgar?" the Bake Tanuki girl asked as the Chochi Obake nodded
"and the hero who had defended the race of beastmen in Pazingua from the Fallen Paku Empire" the Chochi Obake said as thunder rang and lightning strikes down the land
