When nobody said anything, Percy said "Well, then we should go onto the next quest. I believe it starts when Mum was taking Annabeth, Thalia and I to school."
"You went to school together?" Silena asked "No wonder why Thalia knew thought that the two of you would get together,"
"No, we didn't go to school together, only Thalia and Annabeth did. I went to a different school," Percy explained "Anyway, Mum was driving us to a school because Grover had picked up the scent of two demigods that he thought were powerful and needed help to get them to Camp Half-Blood."
"Why was Grover there, shouldn't he be looking for Pan?" Chiron asked
"We were running low on satyrs, so some that hadn't gone off yet decided to help out to look for demigods, including Grover. Anyway, we managed to get past the reception to the dance, where we found Grover. Grover then showed us the two that he had found. An older girl and a younger boy. The younger boy was probably the most energetic person that I had met until that point, and kept on messing around with dolls in his hands" Percy explained "Their names were Bianca and Nico di Angelo,"
Everyone stared at Nico in shock, who just glared at Percy "They weren't dolls, they were figurines,"
"Who cares about that, what about your sister Nico?" AC demanded,
Nico looked down, "That will be explained,"
"Sorry, they were figurines, not dolls," Percy corrected, rolling his eyes at the Son of Hades, who just glared back, "The two of them got captured by the monster at the school, and Thalia and Grover had been separated from Annabeth and I, so Annabeth went to find Thalia and Grover, while I went of Nico and Bianca. The monster eventually grabbed us, a took us to the cliff face. Eventually we fought Dr. Thorn, who was the monster and a manticore, which little Nico was geeking out over."
"I was not little, and I did not geek out over it," Nico said pouting
"You literally started yelling about attack powers and shit like that," Percy, Thalia, Grover and Annabeth protested
"And yes, you are little, people still give you the kids menu when we go out on dates," Will pointed out, "You end up eating two of them. And then at McDonalds, I swear that you have enough Happy Meal boxes that you could make a McCastle out of them,"
"No, I don't," Nico protested
"Last time we went to McDonald's, you had no less than a dozen Happy Meals, and then had a go at me when I stole a fry," Will pointed out
"It's not my fault Happy Meals are the best thing on the menu," Nico grumbled.
"Eventually we heard the sound of a hunting horn blast out from the forest," Percy explained "And came through and shot at the Manticore. The Manticore realising the fight was lost jumped off the cliff, but not before grabbing Annabeth and dragging her off with him,"
"I got captured?" AC asked
"Yeah, this is when the Titan War got real," Chris explained "They started to bring out their big hitters and remove their largest enemies. Annabeth, Thalia, Percy, the Gods, Clarisse and some others were the more notable large enemies,"
"Me?" CLR and Clarisse said at the same time
"Yeah, you're considered one of the most powerful daughters of Ares in history. Of course, you're a large enemy," Chris explained like it was obvious, while both CLR and Clarisse blushed.
"What about me and the Romans?" Nico asked
"You were young and impressionable, so you were considered a potential ally along with your sister." Chris explained, which Nico nodded to, "As for the Romans, I wasn't high enough the chain of command to be told about that, so I have no idea, though I did hear of attacks being planned in California through the grapevine, and to stage it on Camp Half-Blood,"
"That would start a Civil War between the demigods," Chiron gasped out
"Good thing it didn't happen then," Reyna grimaced
"Agreed," Every demigod echoed.
"Anyway, it turned out to be the Hunters of Artemis, and Artemis asked for me to come to her in her tent, while Zoe and Thalia were arguing," Percy explained "There Bianca accepted Artemis' proposition to become a Huntress of Artemis, and explained that Apollo would be taking us back to camp,"
At the mention of Bianca joining the hunters, Nico let out a sob, and allowed Will to hold him in his arm. Nico turned to Will and cried into his chest.
Percy looked over to Nico and stopped telling the story, just allowing the boy to mourn over the fact that he felt like his sister abandoned him. After a few minutes, Nico wiped his eyes and nodded to Percy.
"Apollo then turned up and did his usual intro of a Haiku," Percy said, "And I was also surprised he left the place with his nose intact,"
"Oh, and I want Thalia and Percy to re-enact their reaction to meeting Apollo, I'll be Percy's thoughts," Grover exclaimed
"No, we won't," Percy and Thalia blushed
"Do it or not kisses for a month," Reyna told Thalia, who shot her a look of betrayal
"And do it or not post-battle sex," Annabeth threatened Percy, who just gaped at her
"But you hate having no post-battle sex," Percy exclaimed at Annabeth
"Yes, every minute of it will be hell, but it'll be worse for you," Annabeth pointed out to Percy.
Both Thalia and Percy looked at each other before sighing. "Fine," they let out exasperated.
"Wow, Apollo is hot," Thalia let out.
"Think straight," Grover said
"He's the Sun God," Percy muttered
"Not that straight," Grover cheerfully said
"That's not what I meant," Thalia finished
"Wait you're not straight?" Silena asked
"Nope," Percy agreed "Bi. Most of us are somewhere on the spectrum,"
"Annabeth and I are both Bi as well," Rachel said, shrugging. "Some of mine and Percy's best days at school were playing a game on whether or not we would fuck someone or not. Lead to a couple disagreements, but it was funny when the person being discussed would hear what we were talking about,"
Silena peered at Percy, Annabeth and Rachel for a second before deadpanning "There is a 0% chance that a threesome isn't happening between you three," Many people's eyes widened at that, then went further at what Percy said.
"The two of them already have plans to kidnap me the day that Rachel passes the oracle on to do that exact thing," Percy replied
"How did you know that?" The two girls asked at once
"Annabeth left the plans with her architecture designs, and I looked at them," Percy replied shrugging "There's a lot of BDSM there surprisingly,"
"Really?" Rachel asked Annabeth "Couldn't you have hid them in a better spot."
Annabeth scoffed "Do you really see Percy looking at architecture designs?"
"Still," Rachel protested "Bad place,"
"And how did you know what Percy was thinking?" AC asked Grover
"With an empathy link, I have the ability to read their thoughts as long as I am very close to them, within like 5 feet or so. Percy does get benefits as well, such as when he is near a half-blood, he can tell that they are one, but unable to tell the parent. Though bad things do happen with it, like whenever I get suicidal thoughts, I know that Percy is in an exam." Grover explained
"It's not my fault exams are the banes of my existence," Percy complained, "Still though, cheers for helping with those,"
"How does Grover help your exams?" Annabeth asked
"Er, well, Grover sorta looks up the, er, answers for me, when I ask him a question," Percy answered, blushing
"You do what?" Annabeth asked
"I ask Grover for the answer to questions on my exam paper and he googles it for me." Percy explained "The examiners tell us to use our resources. My resource is Google and Grover is the translator."
Annabeth glared at Percy for another couple of seconds, before turning to Grover, "And you support this?" She screeched
"It's either that or get filled with suicidal thoughts for a few hours, so I chose the option that was better for my mental health." Grover told her, "Besides aren't you always activating for better mental health,"
Percy scoffed besides him "Then she'd be a hypocrite with her work on Olympus," This earned a glare from Annabeth. "Anyway, Apollo volunteered Thalia to drive the Sun Car/Bus thingy back to camp, which went awfully, if I do say so myself,"
"I didn't drive that badly," Thalia protested
"You almost torched all of New England, and the froze the rest of the land before crashing into a lake," Grover pointed out
"At least I'm not an adrenaline junkie like you Kelp Head when I drove it," Thalia pointed out to Percy
"When did you drive the chariot?" Annabeth asked, turning on her fiancé
"When you were with Magnus, I was needed on Olympus, with the leader of the Hunt, Thalia, one of the leaders of Camp Jupiter, Frank, and the leader of the Amazons, Hylla. Apollo did a raffle for who drove, and I was chosen," Percy explained
"He did no less than 15 loop-de-loops and 26-barrel rolls." Thalia complained
"And that's not counting when he literally stopped the engine and we went plummeting down to the earth at gods know what speed," Frank moaned
"All 4 of them had to get a clean pair of underwear," Percy mentioned "It was awesome. Anyway, when we got back to camp, we told Chiron the bad news that Annabeth had been captured. Chiron revealed that Clarisse was on a special mission for Chiron at the time, which will play a bigger part in the next quest. Chiron also revealed that that the hunters have an honorary Capture the Flag game whenever they came, which would be held the next day,"
All of the campers universally groaned at that. "Don't worry, we managed to beat them last time they came over," Percy told them
"Only because you tricked us," Thalia grumbled
"Where in the rules does it say not to use the mist?" Annabeth challenged
"Well, nowhere-" Thalia began
"Precisely," Annabeth cut Thalia off, "So you can't complain,"
"Anyway, that evening, I had a dream, where Annabeth was brought before Luke, who was seemingly being pressed down to the ground by some large clouds, and it seemed to be killing him. Luke begged out to Annabeth to help, and Annabeth did, before Luke left, leaving Annabeth stuck under the clouds." Percy explained. All the while for the explanation, Hestia and Chiron both paled dramatically so that they had the same complexion as their brother Hades.
"Is that-" Hestia asked
"Yep," Percy, Annabeth, Thalia and Grover replied in unison.
"I woke up and told Grover about my dream, where Grover revealed that Zoe had a dream that night and demanded to go onto a quest, something about Artemis being taken," Percy told them
"And how did you know about Zoe's nightmare?" Annabeth asked Grover, who turned an unnatural colour of pink.
"It's because he is a stalker with hooves," Percy told them dismissively, "Anyway, Grover mentioned that, after deciphering what Zoe had said, was the Artemis had been captured. Fast forward to Capture the Flag, and the Hunters had won, again. Me and Thalia got into a fight, where we almost beat each other up,"
"Almost?" Jason echoed "That doesn't sound like either of you."
"The only reason we didn't is because the Walking Dead appeared," Thalia told him
"The least she could have done is walk all the way back to the attic," Percy and Grover grumbled, which got a giggle from Thalia.
"The Oracle decided to walk all the way from the attic, down to the game, where she spoke a prophecy to Zoe,
Five shall go west to the goddess in chains,
One shall be lost in the land without rain,
The bane of Olympus shows the trail,
Campers and Hunters combined prevail,
The Titan's Curse must one withstand,
And one shall perish by parent's hand," Percy explained to everyone
"Wow," Leo said, "That is one doozy of a prophecy,"
"You're telling me that?" Percy asked sarcastically, "Grover and I had to take the mummy back to the attic because it didn't have the decency to walk back itself. At least our new oracle has good motor skills. Anyway, there was a meeting afterwards where the head councillors and a few others discussed the prophecy. The members of the prophecy were decided to be Zoe, Thalia, Bianca, Grover and a huntress named Phoebe,"
"You weren't chosen for the quest?" Hestia asked
"No, Chiron said that I wasn't his first choice for the quest, and neither was Thalia. He said that he would have volunteered, if not for the final line. Before we left though, Tweedledee and Tweedledum decided to give Zoe a present of a T-shirt to give to Phoebe, which she accepted." Percy explained, gesturing to the Stoll brothers, who stood there with proud smirks across their faces.
"I consider it to be the stupidest mistake I have ever see someone make," Percy commented, "And how the hunters didn't know about the time when they pranked Chicago, and then went on a year-long stealing spree where you stole anything they could, I have no idea. I know for a fact that monsters still talk about it to this day,"
"Where in Chicago did you prank?" Piper asked the Stolls
"Chicago," They replied in unison
"But where," Piper returned
"Chicago," the answered back
"I don't think you understand what they're saying Pipes," Annabeth told Piper "They didn't prank one part of Chicago, they pranked it all,"
"But- But- How?" Piper asked
"A lot of planning," Travis told her
"It took about a year to get everything into place, but it was so worth it," Conner replied with a smirk.
"And what did you steal then?" Leo asked
"Lots of things," Travis replied shrugging
"I don't think we could name it all," Conner answered
"What are the highlights of what stole then?" Reyna asked
"The top 5 are: The Declaration of Independence, the flag of the top of the White House on 8 separate occasions, 3 USB drives from the Pentagon, 12 different dinosaur skeletons and 25 lightsabres from Skywalker Ranch," Travis and Conner listed off their fingers
"Where do you even keep them?" Frank asked in confusion
"When Dad found out what we were doing, he provided us both with unlimited suitcases so that we could steal as much as we want." Travis explained
"On with the story, that night I had another dream, where Artemis was taken to Annabeth and manipulated into taking the clouds off of her, where she was then chained, while Annabeth was taken." Percy explained
"How long did you hold it for?" Hestia asked
"It wasn't as long as the dreams made it out to be," Annabeth said, shrugging "Maybe around 15 minutes. From what I overheard, Luke didn't take it until Artemis had been captured, when I then took it from him, and then Artemis took it from me." Hestia nodded in acceptance
"I was then awoken by my very unhinged Pegasus, Blackjack knocking on the door of my cabin saying that a sea creature was in danger just off the coast, so I was called to help it. I for some reason had the feeling that I wouldn't be returning back to my cabin for a while, so I picked up Annabeth's invisible cap, which she had dropped and took it with me," Percy began "Blackjack took me to the sea creature, which I couldn't understand. It looked like a half-cow, half-serpent thing. I focused on the cow part and decided to name it Bessie."
Chiron, having worked out what Bessie was just asked, "Did you seriously name him, Bessie?"
"Yep," Percy grinned back, "I didn't know what he was, so I though he was a she, and named him Bessie. I eventually freed Bessie, and got picked up by Blackjack, who began to take me back to camp, when I saw a 10-year-old Nico spying, so I put on Annabeth's cap, and listened to what he was spying to."
"And this is when you found out what we did to the T-shirt?" Travis asked Percy who nodded.
"Turns out, the Stolls had coated the T-shirt with centaur blood, so she was unable to go onto the quest. Zoe decided that camp was the land without rain, so left for the quest with only 4 people. I recognised that Nico was about to leave to follow the quest, so I jumped in before he could, and said that I would join the quest. He only said that I protect Bianca," Percy explained
"I should never have done that," Nico apologised, a few tears beginning to shed, "I should never have done that,"
"It's OK," Percy reassured, giving his younger cousin a one-handed hug, "I agreed to it. It wasn't your fault,"
Nico didn't seem to agree, but just seemed to bury himself into Percy's arm.
"I then followed, Thalia, Grover, Zoe and Bianca to Washington, where I noticed that they were being followed by a van. Eventually they stopped at the Smithsonian Museum, where the van also stopped. I decided to follow the people of the van, which included the Manticore. The Manticore went into another part of the museum, and I went in after him, wearing Annabeth's cap. There I overheard Luke talking to someone known as the General. He then summoned some monsters originally using Sabretooth Tiger Teeth, which grew into kittens. Keep this in mind," Percy told everyone, with a tight smile remembering Small Bob, "The General then ordered for the right teeth to be collected, dragon teeth and grew some Spartoi. The General mentioned that the Spartoi would follow whatever it had the scent of, before producing some of Zoe's clothes that a spy had given them."
"A spy?" The people of the past echoed
"Yeah, they had a spy in camp," Percy confirmed
"And they were a hero," Clarisse growled
"We know Clarisse," Annabeth reassured her, while Chris hugged Clarisse from behind.
"I managed to get Zoe's clothes before the Spartoi could get her scent, but in doing so the Spartoi got my scent, so I ran to the questers, where I warned them of the Spartoi coming. There I told them about what I had seen with the General and Spartoi." Percy began
"Zoe's face must have been of shock," Hestia mused
"She immediately said it must had been an IM, where I told her that IM's don't crack floors. Before continuing though, the Nemean Lion came through and attacked us," Percy mentioned
"And you used the most interesting way of defeating it," Thalia commented, raising an eyebrow
"What are you going to say about it?" Percy shot back "It didn't work?"
"Oh no, it did work," Thalia corrected, "It was just an interesting tactic,"
"We needed the lion to open its mouth so Zoe and Bianca could shoot it," Percy replied shrugging "Space food is disgusting, and I don't blame it for gagging. Zoe then gave me the pelt, saying that it was my plan that go the lion killed. Looking back on it, I am surprised she gave it to me. Anyway, the Spartoi then appeared, where I offered to lead them away so the other 4 could continue on the quest. Zoe then denied it and said that I was the 5th member, before we all ran off,"
"Zoe must not have liked the pelt," Chiron muttered
"She did not," Percy agreed "Bianca then lead us through Washington, where we managed to lose the Spartoi temporarily, before getting on a train called Sun West Line, pointed out by a homeless man. On the train, Apollo revealed himself to be the homeless man and asks me to call him Fred as he's incognito. Apollo then tells me to seek out the Old Man of the Sea, Nereus, before I had another dream. This time, it was in Ancient Greece, where I was in the perspective of a man, where a girl gives me the sword Anaklusmos. At the end of the dream, I realise that the girl is Zoe Nightshade."
"You saw her betrayal?" Chiron asked
"Yeah, hate that I had to see it through that asshole's eyes though," Percy said, shuddering at the end, "When the train came to a stop in New Mexico, the Spartoi had somehow managed to have caught up to us, however only Bianca could kill them, due to being a daughter of Hades,"
"That was also when I realise how good your reflexes were," Thalia told him, "I'd been told that they were pretty much second to none, but that fight proved it to me,"
"What did I do in that fight," Percy asked confused "I've been in so many that they have all started to blur together,"
"It was when you deflected a bullet of your sword," Thalia mentioned
"Oh yeah," Percy said, seemingly lost in memory, "I remember that. Anyway, during that fight Grover basically nutted himself when Pan sent a blessing of the Wild to us in the form of a boar,"
"It was the Erymanthian Boar," Grover bleated
"That one," Percy said, doing finger guns at Grover
"And I did not basically nut myself, as you so put it, at the presence of Pan," Grover said indignantly
"Then what was that white stuff coming out of your pants?" Thalia asked, wearing a face of fake confusion
"I will not talk about that," Grover said quickly, blushing a deep red
"Thalia and I subdued the hog, and Grover steered it with a floating apple," Percy explained "Eventually the boar stopped just in front of a junkyard, where we decided to camp for a while as that pig was uncomfortable, we decided to go for small talk, and spoke about the stars, which Zoe was sad that she couldn't see any more due to pollution. Eventually, Aphrodite and Ares showed up for a chat with me. There, Aphrodite basically said that she would make my love life interesting and to beware her husband's junkyard. When I got out the limo Aphrodite was in Ares told me to remember his curse before we stayed there for the night. It was also there that we started to interrogate Bianca about knowing where the station was, as she said that she remembered it being built, despite the fact that it looked well over 12 years old. It turned out, Bianca, and therefore Nico, were in the Lotus Hotel and Casino for over around 70 years."
"What?" Those who didn't know asked
"I was in there for around 70 years, and was born in 1932," Nico confirmed "I don't remember much of my time before the hotel though, and that may be explained later,"
Percy then turned to Nico, "It is time,"
Nico then turned to Percy, with slight tears in his eyes "Are you sure,"
"Positive," Percy confirmed "Do you want to leave or stay here?"
"I want to stay here," Nico told him, "I have to know. I need to know," Will pulled Nico into a deep hug from behind, and just place his head on the shoulder of the Son of Hades.
Percy steadied his breath and began to talk "We continued our journey through the junkyard, and we nearly made it. We oh so nearly made it. When we got out of it, one of the automations woke up, and began to attack us. A smaller, defective model of Talos. Bianca had picked up a Mythomagic toy to give to Nico,"
"No toy is worth a life," Nico sobbed quietly "No toy is worth a life,"
"Bianca dropped the toy to see if Talos would stop attacking us if she did so, but Talos kept attacking. When the machine was walking, I noticed a maintenance hatch at the bottom of its foot. When I voiced my plan of getting into it to Bianca, she immediately told me that she would do it, and ran off to get under his foot to do so before I could stop her. She managed to get inside, and managed to break down the machine but, it got hit by a power line electricity cable, causing a shock to go through it, and the machine broke apart. We spent hours looking for Bianca, but it was no use. Bianca was lost in the land without rain, and she was dead." Percy told everyone, tears falling down everyone's faces, but none more so than Nico, who during the tale, had turned to Will's chest and began sobbing loudly.
"I think we should take a break for a few minutes," Thalia told Chiron, who hastily agreed and ushered everyone out of the dining area, leaving Will to comfort Nico.
Chiron took everyone to the amphitheatre, by the campfire where the demigods of the past just sat there in shock. Sure, they had heard that being a demigod meant deaths, but they didn't expect someone so young to die.
"How many?" AC asked after a couple of minutes
"Pardon?" Annabeth asked her younger self
"How many died in the wars?" AC asked. As soon as she asked that almost everyone from the past turned to look to her.
"Please don't make us answer that," Percy whispered
"How many?" AC asked
Clarisse steadied her breath, before saying "At the end of the Titan War, there were around 40 demigods at Camp Half-Blood,"
"40?" Chiron echoed "There's around half that at camp right now,"
"Some had left and never come back, some died fighting," Clarisse told them, "However some switched sides and fought for the Titans,"
"And who was the spy?" Silena asked with a hint of nervousness that was barely detectable
"We'll reveal that when the spy revealed their identity to us," Percy said.
"However, know that she only did it for love, and when their loved one died, she immediately switched back to our side," Clarisse told everyone, glaring at them
"They died a hero," Chris said, placing a hand on her shoulder
Clarisse sighed "I know, I know,"
After another couple of minutes, Will and Nico walked in, Nico's eyes still puffy from crying
"Hey," Will called out "How are you doing?"
"I think it is us that should be asking that of your boyfriend," Thalia asked back
"I'm fine," Nico said, trying to sound reassuring, "Now on with the story,"
"Are you sure Neeks?" Percy asked, concerned about his cousin
"Yeah," Nico reassured again, "I think I feel more liberated now that I understand what happened,"
"That's good to hear," Annabeth said with a smile
"Next, we managed to steal a car to a river, before we went downstream on path down to the river that was easier to get down," Percy explained
"The pathway I suggested first would have been fine," Grover said
"I did it for Pinecone Face, a secret that she told me, which I have kept out of the goodness of my heart," Percy explained
"You have goodness in your heart?" Thalia asked
Percy raised an eyebrow at the Daughter of Zeus and just said "Yeah, you're right. I don't have any goodness in my heart. Thalia's afraid of heights,"
Thalia immediately turned a bright red at that and started muttering "I should not have said that, I should not have said that,"
"At least your fear of heights has gotten better after what Artemis did to you," Annabeth told her
"How do you know about that?" Thalia demanded glaring at Annabeth, while Percy and Reyna both tried, and failed to stifle chuckles.
"Who do you think gave Artemis the idea?" Annabeth replied back
"It was you?" Thalia demanded
"Yep," Annabeth grinned back
"What was it I did to you?" AC asked her friend
Thalia glared at Annabeth, before turning to AC, "She told Artemis about my fear of heights, and must have said that strapping me to the underside of the moon chariot would help get rid of the fear,"
"A psychological technique known as flooding," Annabeth told her, "It worked with me with spiders down under Rome. Besides didn't it work?"
Thalia narrowed her eyes at Annabeth and said, "That's beside the point,"
"See, it works, and you are now mostly over your fear of heights, now continue with the story Seaweed Brain," Annabeth said
"Ma'am, yes Ma'am" Percy saluted "When we got down to the river, Thalia and Grover got into one canoe, and Zoe and I got into the other and I asked the naiads to push us up the river. While in the canoe, I confronted Zoe about being the person who created my sword, which she confirmed. She also explained that she was the 5th of the Hesperides."
AC's hand immediately shot into the air, "I thought that there were only 4?"
"Well younger Annabeth," Percy began "Zoe was disowned from her family because she helped a hero at the garden, and never gave her any credit and her name was blotted out from history. That is why you only know of 4 Hesperides," AC nodded in acceptance "The canoes came to a stop when the Hoover Dam showed up,"
"And we decided to get a Dam T-Shirt," Thalia said grinning
"And some Dam Fries," Grover added
"And go to the Dam Snack bar," Percy added before dissolving into giggles along with Thalia and Grover
"Seriously?" Annabeth asked at the trio's laughter "That's what that joke means?"
All Percy, Thalia and Grover could do was nod their head in laughter
"How is it that funny?" Reyna asked
"It was Zoe's reaction," Percy managed to choke out
"She was oblivious," Thalia managed to get out between her laughs.
"So, the reason why it is so funny is due to Zoe's reaction?" Will asked slowly. The trio all nodded in unison. After a couple of minutes of laughter, the trio managed to calm down.
"Ahh," Percy said breathing out, still grinning, "At that time, I heard a cow moo in the background. I followed the sound to the water and saw Bessie again. He seemed to be wanting me to come with him, but I refused, and noticed the Spartoi. Immediately, I ran back inside and asked the tour guide where to go. And the tour guide with Grey eyes and Black hair told me where to go, as well as saying there is always a way out to those clever enough to find it"
Annabeth gasped in shock, though did feel the need to double check. "Was that my mother?" She asked
"Yep," Percy confirmed "On the way to the Dam Snack Bar, I thought I heard some skeletons, so I swung blindly in hope of stalling it, only for my sword to go right through a Red Headed girl."
"Me!" Rachel cheered
"Yep, when the skeletons did arrive, she distracted them, and she told me her name, before I had to run off. Eventually, I found the others by a statue of angels made for Zeus. I realised what Athena was trying to say and told Thalia to pray to her dad. Her father answered and the angels came to life, picked us up and flew us to San Francisco, which is where we needed to head to,"
"You flew?" Frank asked, "I thought that you couldn't fly?"
"I can't," Percy told him "I can only fly when I have his blessing or some other reasons. This time was because I had his blessing when the Angels picked me up. I still didn't trust him, so I was on the same Angel as Thalia. Pegasi are seen as a fuck you to Zeus from Dad because Dad created them, but they go into his domain. He views all types of flying fish the same way. Back to the story, we touched down in San Francisco, and followed Apollo's advice and met Nereus, who I captured. I asked what beast Artemis was following and he told me it was over there, pointing at Bessie."
"Bessie is dangerous?" AC asked, "I thought that you described it as cute,"
"He isn't dangerous," Percy told her, "Zoe told us that she remembered the story. He is the Ophiotaurus. His entrails were said to have the power to destroy Olympus,"
"But he's so . . . innocent," Hazel protested
"There's great power in killing innocence," Chiron advised, with a frown marring his face.
"At that moment, Dr. Thorn showed up with some of his men and started to attack. I managed to IM Dionysus and convinced him to help, so he turned the enemies mad and killed the Manticore,"
"Really?" Leo asked, "That doesn't seem like the Dionysus we love to hate?"
"Trust us," Thalia said, "We were just as surprised,"
"We all realised then that we had to get the Ophiotaurus as far away as possible. Since Grover was the only one that could understand him, he volunteered to go. I came up with the idea of asking my Dad to take him to Camp or something, however that would require a big sacrifice. It was then I realised who had betrayed Zoe, and said I am not like Hercules, and sacrificed the Nemean Lion cloak." Percy explained, and many gasps echoed as they realised who the hero was that betrayed her.
"It was Hercules who did it?" AC asked, her eyes wide
"Yeah," Percy confirmed, "Grade A+ asshole,"
"Then why didn't you say anything in Gibraltar?" Piper asked
"It wasn't my place to dictate your views on someone. You had to make your own views. It's also the reason why I didn't volunteer for that mission as I knew that if I met him, I would punch him in the face without any questions," Percy told Piper, who just nodded in understanding
"Grover then took the Ophiotaurus back to camp, and we knew that we needed to get up Mount Tamalpais, so we went to Annabeth's mortal family who was living in San Francisco," Percy began before being interrupted
"But my family lives in Virginia?" AC asked
"Used to," Annabeth corrected "They moved to San Francisco when we were 14, and I ended up moving there for a while to keep an eye on what was up there after I mended my relationship with them,"
"Do you – we – not live there anymore?" AC asked
"No, I live with Percy, Sally, Paul and Estelle, but Percy and I will be moving to New Rome at the end of summer for College," Annabeth explained to her
"When we got to Annabeth's family, her Dad gave us a car, which we used to get up the mountain. We tried to get it back to him, but it was blown up with a lightning bolt from Kronos, trying to manipulate the last line of the prophecy," Percy began, "Fortunately we were near the top of the mountain, and Zoe got Ladon to remember her temporarily. This allowed for both Thalia and I to get past the Hesperides and Ladon, before Ladon shot out and bit Zoe on the side. We asked Zoe how she was after, and she claimed to be fine,"
Hestia frowned, "But Ladon's bite is poisonous?" before her eyes widened in realisation, which was confirmed by Percy nodding towards her.
"When we got to the top of the mountain, we saw the Mount Othrys had started to reform, with pieces of the palace there and under the sky, was Artemis chained there. Luke was standing by the side of Atlas, with Annabeth bound up, a gag in her mouth." Percy explained
Many demigods growled at Luke's treatment of Annabeth and AC looked at Luke with betrayal shining in her eyes. Luke had guilt fly through his eyes at the description of what he had done to Annabeth.
"As soon as she saw us, Artemis forbid Zoe from taking the sky. Then Thalia, Zoe and I had a silent conversation before we charged. Thalia at Luke, Zoe and I at Atlas. For a second, we were holding him off, until my sword grew unbelievable heavy. The Ares curse had taken affect, and I couldn't fight with the sword. I was then left with a choice. Stand there, and do nothing, or free Artemis and take the sky." Percy said, drifting off at the end, twirling a lock of grey hair between his finger (I know that they lost it in the cannon, but I personally don't like that, so they are keeping it here. I do hope that they end up keeping it for the TV show as I think that it is a defining quality for Percabeth, there shared torture of the sky. Back to the story now)
"So, you took the sky from Artemis?" Chiron asked making sure
"Of course," Percy confirmed "I had no way of actually fighting Atlas, so I had to free someone who did – Artemis. Besides, it was written in the prophecy that I would bear the Titan's Curse. The Curse of the Sky. During the fight between Zoe and Artemis against Atlas, Atlas managed to hit Zoe against a pile of rocks, and Artemis was quickly on the floor. Artemis told me to loosen my grip on the sky and manged to flip Atlas over, so he came rolling towards me and pushed me out of the way of the sky, putting him under his burden again."
A cheered emerged from most people from the past, the notable one not cheering was Luke, who seemed to be having conflicted emotions.
"In the other battle, Thalia had Luke disarmed with his back to the cliff. Annabeth tried to convince Thalia to take him to Olympus, but Luke made a grab for Thalia's spear. Out of reflex, Thalia kicked Luke off of the cliff. Luke then lay, about 50 feet, with a broken body." Percy told them
"So, Luke is dead now?" Beckendorf asked
"Doubt it," Chiron and Hestia said at once,
"Had Luke been stabbed or injured in most other ways, like dismemberment, then maybe," Chiron explained, with a solemn voice, "But Luke's body would be all together, Kronos could work with that to make sure that he doesn't die."
Percy nodded in agreement, before continuing with his tale, "The monster army, sensing that we were weak, started to attack, though we were saved by Annabeth's Dad coming with his plane, shooting down the monsters. He later explained that he got melted down celestial bronze weapons into bullet casings. That was when I realised that Athena had fallen for him because he was a mad scientist at heart,"
Hestia nodded in agreement, "Mad scientist is definitely her type. You should have seen her with Leonardo da Vinci."
All of the Athena cabin members blushed a deep red in embarrassment, while others snickered at their discomfort, until Leo asked, "I though da Vinci was gay?"
Hestia shook her head "No he was actually Biromantic Homosexual, meaning that he like women romantically, not sexually. That was perfect for Athena. Apollo also lost a lot of money when Athena didn't turn him immortal to be with her for the rest of time, though Aphrodite did really like a close friend of his though. Ezio if I remember rightly. I think she had sex with him in no less than 12 different forms."
"It was. You should have seen Zeus' heartbreak when he found out Ezio wasn't into men. He 100% wanted to have sex with him for being one of the first people to fly." Chiron confirmed, awkwardly, while both Jason and Thalia turned bright red out of embarrassment, earning more laughs. "But let's get off the topic of sex now,"
"Yeah," Percy sighed, not wanting to relive bad memories, "Annabeth's Dad enabled us to get onto the Moon chariot, which Artemis had summoned, and allowed us to carry Zoe onto it, until we made our way to an airstrip. There Zoe, poisoned by Ladon, and struck down from Atlas, her father died, seeing the stars for one last time, completing the prophecy, knowing that she went on a quest that she would die in." Tears pooled in the eyes of most people there, knowing that she had volunteered for a suicide mission just to protect her goddess.
"Artemis, in return for her bravery and loyalty, turned her into what she love the most, stars, she turned Zoe into a new constellation: The Huntress," Percy explained, looking up at the sky, even though it was during the day, "Artemis then left to go to the Winter Solstice by her Moon Chariot, while Thalia, Annabeth and I went by Pegasi to Olympus, where our presence was requested. There Grover was already there, with Bessie,"
"What was it like?" Jason asked
"How do you think?" Percy asked, raising an eyebrow
"A bunch of gods having a go at one another for something that happened millennia ago?" Jason asked
"Got it in one," Percy replied "After that was done, we did the usual programme where the gods voted on our lives. The main ones being Athena and Ares. Though more voted for us to live than not to. At the meeting, Artemis chose for Thalia to become the new Lieutenant of the Hunters, passing the prophecy onto me, and Bessie was to be put in an aquarium on Olympus, where he would be safe. After that, Zeus declared a party on Olympus, which was awesome,"
"Aww man," Leo pouted "You've been to an Olympus party. That's awesome. I wanna go to one."
"Tough luck," Percy grinned at Leo, causing him to pout more, and Calypso to give him a kiss, which Leo grinned at. "When we got back to camp, Chiron told me that he had been told what had happened on the quest, but no-one had told Nico that his sister had died. Chiron told me that it should be me, so I did it. I gave Nico the Mythomagic figure that his sister had died getting, when the Spartoi that hadn't been killed showed up. In Nico's rage, he caused the ground to split, sending the Spartoi down to the Underworld, before dropping the statue and running off. I chased after him, after picking up the statue, but couldn't find him anywhere. I then had a proper look at the statue that Nico didn't have and saw it was Hades. That's when I put together Nico and Bianca's parentage. A mortal and Hades."
Many eyes widened "It was you that figured out first?" Chiron asked
"Yeah," Annabeth replied "Percy is a lot smarter than he looks. I personally think he analyses things a lot due to his ADHD,"
"Quite possibly," Percy agreed "Anyway, I told Annabeth and Grover about Nico and we searched for him for a while, before deciding that he was long gone. We discussed the implications of Nico being able to fulfil the prophecy,"
"However, you refused to talk about it," Annabeth pointed out "Saying that you wouldn't let Nico be the prophecy child."
Percy shrugged "I owed it Bianca, to Nico to protect him from the prophecy. We of course to Chiron about Nico running away, but not that he was a son of Hades. During our conversation, Grover came barging in as he had left to do some other things, when he felt Pan's presence in his mind saying just 3 words,"
"I await you," Grover quoted, while GU fainted out of shock, again.
"Will he be OK?" Hazel asked concerned for the Satyr "That's the second time it's happened today,"
"It happens more often than you think," Thalia explained to her, waving her hand dismissively
"And that is the quest of the Titan's Curse, also known as the quest, where the Olympians said Fuck You to not helping on quests. Any questions?" Percy asked
"Yeah, what was Bianca's rite of passage for turning into a different species?" AC asked
Nico composed himself before explaining "Dad told me that Bianca was turned into a tulip by Persephone on accident when she was in the Underworld when she was 4,"
"Why would she be in the underworld?" Chiron asked
"Dad apparently decided to bring Mum, me and Bianca down to the Underworld and Persephone was there,"
"I also have a question," TS asked, "Have you ever had an accidental image from Grover, or the other way around,"
"Yep," Both Grover and Percy said in unison. "Whenever the other one is feeling a certain emotion to an extreme,"
"All emotions to an extreme?" Silena asked
"All," Percy and Grover echoed
"Does that include-" Silena began to ask
"Yep," The two said in unison again
"So, you know what Ju-" Silena began again
"Yep," Percy cut off
"And you with An-" Silena restarted
"Yep," Grover cut off, while Annabeth and AC blushed a deep scarlet.
"There's a reason why I have a 'When Grover is having sex' playlist on Spotify, and I make sure that I am never asleep when it happens, because then the visions don't stop. I learned that the hard way," Percy explained shivering at the end.
"You could have at least told me it would happen," Grover told Percy, glaring slightly
Percy shrugged, "Think of it as revenge,"
"I feel like a plan happened that isn't being mentioned," Silena said
"Maybe," Percy and Annabeth smirked in unison
"What was it then?" Silena demanded
Percy and Annabeth looked at one another for a second before seemingly agreeing. "Grover did had sex first, and did it on a night, when I was studying for a Maths test with Annabeth. So, all she could see was me blushing at what I was seeing."
"The first thing we did was call Juniper and let her know what happened. To put it mildly, she was mortified. As revenge for what happened to Percy, and what was to happen to my embarrassment, I came up with a plan, where we didn't tell Grover about it. Grover's reaction was hilarious because we planned it so that we would spend the entire day after we had sex with Grover." Annabeth explained, while laughing
"Grover bluntly refused to look at us all day," Percy agreed laughing as well. "It was hilarious as we were asking what was wrong the entire time,"
"It was so awkward," Grover moaned
"One last question," PJ asked, "What was Mum's reaction to this quest?"
"Oh, she basically told me to do what I felt right before the quest, so I did what I felt was right, and then after the quest, I told her that I was OK," Percy explained "All the while interrupting her dates with Paul,"
"Paul?" PJ asked, "Whose Paul?"
"My new step-father," Percy grinned "Much better than Smelly Gabe,"
"I don't think much could be worse than Smelly Gabe," PJ pointed out
"Touché," Percy conceded, "Is that everything?" No answers "Perfect, the next quest starts when I was going to my new school,"
