Chapter-3 Most startling Prophecy of the Age

What could be more starling than this :

"Son Of Gaia shall rise to fame,

Use his Father's weapon to do the same.

Go to the place where deceased lie,

To find the item able to bring back lives.

The key holds secrets though non shall tell,

the cost can be death itself

Heed the words you shall be told,

They shall decide the state of god's home.

Recited by the evil's own,

Might tear the mystery bone to bone.

When the final battle comes in place,

The 7 demigods and mysterious ones shall face the soul in hate.

The choices made will decide all,Including that Olympus shall rise or fall. "

Just after the Prophecy got over a substance radiating sharp light entered towards the Big House. Everyone present there, dashed out and the substance hit the meeting room hard.

It was the sun chariot!!!

With Apollo sitting inside.

Apollo said with delight "My priestess just gave the Great prophecy!" That seemed to shock everyone even more. "Well I gotta go you know, Zeus has organised a heck of a party!"

"What did the prophecy say Son of Gaia and what not,

How, how really are we gonna even do a quest if we do not know what the prophecy means. "Percy said.

"Let's just focus on the part we can figure out. It says go to the place where deceased lie, um I got it. That must be the underworld. "Annabeth said uncomfortably.

"I'll volunteer for the quest." Nico said.

That was actually right of Nico to say as they had to go to the underworld and as he was a son of Hades it was a good idea but Annabeth didn't think so, she said

" No Nico, the prophecy says the seven demigods and the mysterious ones, we don't know about the mysterious ones but the seven demigods certainly points towards seven demigods of last great prophecy. "

Chiron interjected the argument. He said "But I think Nico should accompany you Children. He did that against Gaia too right, but the final battle shall be fought by the seven and mysterious ones I guess. Percy, Annabeth and Nico prepare for the quest and leave tomorrow, and for the meanwhile, I shall inform others at Camp Jupiter"

Everyone left the Big House and went back to their cabins. After the afternoon chores it was evening and time for capture the flag.

Ares, Athena, Aphrodite, Nike and Hermes were paired as one team while the others in the second team.

Conch horn was blown and capture the flag was about to start but before it could start , A rainbow colored cloud flashed which was the sign of an Iris Message. In the Iris message a lady looking serious stood and after seeing her all Athena campers kneeled, yes it was Athena herself.

"As I feared the ether (air in Olympus) has started poisoning at a fast rate and we gods are trapped in Olympus and cannot leave Olympus, Zeus who has realised it finally is blaming Dionysus for giving the idea of parties which distracted the gods. You all should do something soon because we are locked up and it will be soon when ether (heavenly air) becomes too poisonous to breathe and all the gods perish, go I doubt ether's lamp is stolen and in possession of enemy of the gods. "Athena said and the iris message dissolved and vanished.

"Well that's gone serious I doubt it has some connection with Pontus you shall all leave for the quest tomorrow morning, Now let's continue with capture the flag but before that could start earth started shaking and a big tsunami wave came and hit the camp and that tsunami wave had Triton sea monsters in it if not for the Camp's shield it would have washed away and destroyed the camp.

Chiron said in a hurry "Capture the flag is cancelled, everyone back to their cabins." and everyone rushed to their cabins.

They did not know what awaited them.
