On with the story

Within the castle, Toma and the others awaited in their position while having guards around them

Soon, Natsu came flying in from the broken window and landed into the room

"my king! The assassin!?" Makarov exclaimed as Natsu's face plate slides open and he shook his head "I see. I am grateful that you are well"

"your kingdom is no longer safe from any others" Natsu stated to Toma "may it be the neighbouring human kingdom, or even the Demon Kingdom. Assassins were already on their route to kill you and your daughter. And I can already tell that one of them was the reason that your daughter was cursed. And soon a war will come, that war will consume even your kingdom"

Toma looks at Natsu before to his daughter as her condition is worse for her life

"can you save us?" Toma asked as he turns back to look at Natsu "my daughter? My kingdom? My people?"

"I can but that is depending on how you shall pay me" Natsu stated "I maybe a Dragon, a King, and a warrior. But I'm also a mercenary. If you do not heed to the conditions, I shall never lend a hand to anyone"

"my kingdom cannot fall, countless of lives are at stake. Please, save my kingdom and my daughter!" Toma said as he soon got down on his knees and bowed to Natsu "I'll pay with whatever you desire! But I cannot let my daughter! My kingdom! My people! Not one of them can disappear because of the arrogances of my choices! Please! Hero Lizardius Natsu Dragneel! Please save us!"

Natsu looks down to Toma as he sees him not as the king of Fiore but a father to a daughter and a brave man who puts the need of others than his own self. A true and brave man.

The two stands in their place as everyone watched them

"I have three conditions for my services" Natsu stated while lifting up a hand that had three fingers out "one, your kingdom shall break the ties within the seven kingdoms pact. Second, my kingdom and your kingdom shall be affiliated with each other in an unbreakable contract that has two conditions; one Fiore and Dragnof shall share a route line and a haven for beastmen and humans. Second, you shall never affiliate with any other kingdoms that had agreed to the Seven Kingdoms pact. Agreeing to this condition is second to the third that must be agreed no matter what"

Toma looks at Natsu as he nodded before asking "the last condition?"

"three, with according to the tradition of the royal family. The union of Fiore and Dragnof can only be sealed with the marriage of the King of Dragnof and a member of the Royal Family of Fiore." Natsu stated as he reaches his hand out and a scroll appeared in his hand "in summary, I shall have your daughter as my mate. These are the three conditions that you must agree in paying for my service. I shall take no other offer such as golds and jewels, they have no use to me. Disagree and I shall leave with no intention of ever helping this kingdom"

Toma just looks bewildered to Natsu as the Dragon King is directly asking for the hand in marrying his own daughter

"I'll leave it to you to decide whether or not you shall sign this contract" Natsu said as the contract scroll floated towards Toma before falling into his hands "think well, and think wisely"

Natsu's faceplate slides closed as his eyes glowed red behind his helmet

"Makarov, you shall be stationed here for the time being. Till the King of Fiore decide on whether he shall agree to this contract or not, you shall be the one to let me know if he had done his judgment" Natsu stated as Makarov nodded

"as you wish, my king" Makarov said with a bow

Natsu soon went to the window as he got out and flied away

"my choice…will decide it all?" Toma said looking at the scroll in his hand as it was the only thing that will allow his daughter to ever open her eyes "please…god"

2 weeks soon passed as Natsu was within the Fiore's castle throne room where he was sitting near a long table and had Makarov standing beside him. Across him was Toma who had Rob standing beside him and the contract scroll was laid in front of him on the table

"have you made your decision?" Natsu asked crossing his arms as Toma nodded

In the passing two weeks, Natsu returned to Fiore where he now is in a meeting with Toma who had decided on his answer for the contract

"so? do you agree? Or disagree?" Natsu asked as Toma took a deep breath before nodding "I shall take that as a yes"

The scroll floated up towards Toma and a quill pen came flying in out of nowhere before floating beside the scroll

Toma looks at the scroll as it rolled open and revealed the contract where there was his name, Natsu's name, and Fiore as well as Dragnof's name written on it

The quill pen floated near Toma who takes it before he signed his name on the contract

The contract glowed red as the quill pen floated out of Toma's hand and write down Natsu's name before the piece of paper rolled up, then flied to Natsu who caught it

"the contract agreement is as of now signed and the agreement has been accepted," Natsu said as the contract scroll disappeared before he stands up from his seat "as of now, Dragnof and Fiore are correlated and both of them are under my protection."

Natsu snapped his fingers as he holds his hand out and a small vial filled with red liquid appeared floating in his palm

"give this to your daughter, it'll lift away the curse upon her" Natsu said as the vial floated towards Toma who gently grabs it "I shall now leave for my kingdom, I expect you to nurture your daughter to health before I have her as my mate"

"y-yes" Toma said with a nod as Natsu started walking to the door with Makarov who followed, after bowing to Toma and Rob "will this truly heal my daughter?"

"it will, my king" Rob stated "if there is anything to know of Ma-bo's king. He is a hero who never lets anyone down"

"I hope so" Toma said looking at the vial in his grasp

Natsu was now in his carriage with Makarov as Happy drives at front and they were heading out of Fiore

Happy hummed while driving as the Cait Siths eat some fish while doing so

"what now, my king?" Makarov asked Natsu who was maintaining his magic gun's capability by checking its barrel and grip "will we still go after the other kingdom or the kingdom responsible for the attack on the camp?"

"we won't be doing any of sort" Natsu stated as he spins his magic gun before placing it away in his holster "for now, we will let things play out and when it does, I can tell that the kingdom responsible for the creation of the pact will come to raid first to Fiore or Dragnof yet again"

"I see, but what of that assassin? Could he be perhaps from another kingdom or from the Demon Kingdom?" Makarov asked as Natsu shrugs his shoulders

"I do not care if he was from another human kingdom or the demon kingdom" Natsu stated "I have more attention to stop the beastmen hunting and save as many beastmen as we can"

"understood" Makarov said with a nod before he looks to the back as they were getting farther away from Fiore "time shall tell, huh?"

"it will" Natsu said as he closed his eyes and leaned back "until then, we shall see what fate has in store for us"
