On with the story
A few days later, Natsu was in his castle sitting by an open window and was looking at his kingdom from there
After annihilating the Elves at Borba island, Natsu had prevented any other mishaps of crazy wild attacks in his kingdom and that he prevented any more interferences from the Elves of Titania Forest. Right now, Natsu saved his kingdom and protected it once again
A flock of birds flies pass Natsu as he watched them soar to the sky
Natsu sighs before he looks to his lap as the Dragon shield was glowing while resting on him
Before long, Atlas Flame came flying in as the Hellfire Dragon landed upon the castle's front yard
"you have summoned me, my king?" Atlas said while bowing his head down before lifting it up to face towards Natsu
"yes, I want to ask about this" Natsu said while motioning to the Dragon Shield "looks familiar, right?"
"yes, Igneel's shield." Atlas stated with a nod "Fashioned from the scales of the previous Dragon King before him. Your grandfather Agni. I had thought that it was lost forever during the Dragon Civil War"
"me too" Natsu said as he lifts the shield up and looks at it "but somehow it ended up in human's hands before to the elves. Do you think its possible that some are in the human's hands?"
"it is possible, my king. Many of your father's heirloom are still missing from the war. Some might even be buried within Dragnof or anywhere else where the war had taken place" Atlas said as Natsu sighs before he traced a finger on the shield and sees how the Dragon's eyes glowed red
"his armor, magic gun, broadsword, and now his shield" Natsu said as he sighs before looking to his uncle "do you think I can find the rest of them?"
"in time you will, my king. In time" Atlas stated
"in time, huh?" Natsu said looking back at the shield before to the sky above
At a bar, Cana was drinking her usual beer while having Energia and Marsha on the table, the two were sleeping and snoring
Cana chugs down her mug of beer before exhaling in satisfaction
"puah! Nothing is better than drinking beer in the day~!" Cana exclaimed with a big grin before the bartender refilled her drink "if I had some dried snack, it'll be even greater"
Cana's drink got refilled before the Oni started drinking again
Exhaling in satisfaction once again, Cana burps a bit before looking at her kids, both lying on their back while their legs were squirming around as if they were running in their dreams
Giggling in amusement to see her kids' action, Cana rubs a hand on Energia's underbelly getting the little Dragon to stop running in his dreams
Cana scratches her son's belly while her drinks get refilled again
BOOM!
Suddenly, Cana hears a loud explosion outside, and it woke Energia and Marsha from their sleep
"what was that?" Cana said looking confused
Heading out of the bar, Cana and other citizens sees Kalard in his Dragon form while in the middle of the kingdom's town square sneezing out fireballs that exploded in the air
"what in the world?" Cana said before she and other citizens screamed then jumped away when a fireball came at them but hits the ground and exploded "hey! You nearly barbequed me!"
Kalard roars before the Golden Dragon sneezes another fireball
"he's…sneezing?" Cana said before she heard another explosion coming from the town's port
Turning to look, she sees a big tidal wave coming at her direction
"a Tsunami!?" Cana shouted before the tidal wave swallowed her up and some citizens
Getting drifted away, Cana got back up while having Energia and Marsha clinging on her shoulders
The Oni Woman squirts out some water before getting up while Energia and Marsha stayed down on the street
"what's going on today!?" Cana shouted angrily as she nearly got barbequed and nearly drowned from a tidal wave that came out of nowhere
Looking to the port, Cana sees Kaithen, Levia, Ignisia, and Noir there, all are roaring before they sneezes out their elements breath attack
"did they got a cold too?" Cana said while raising an eyebrow before she hears small squeaking sneezes near her as she looks down and sees Energia with Marsha both sneezing out small fireballs "you two too?"
At Grandeeney's temple, loud and endless sneezes were coming from there nonstop as citizens were backing away from the place
Inside the temple, all the Dragon Children were there sneezing nonstop
Touro sneezes loudly before the Bull Dragon scratches his claws on his snout, trying to stop the sneezes but couldn't stop it at all. The bull Dragon let out a growl of agony as the sneezing won't stop
Lucy went to her son as she patted his head a few times before backing away when Touro sneezes loudly
Eis was nearby as the Blizzard Dragon was sneezing too. Letting out a pained growl, Eis rakes his talons on his snout before he sneezes out a blizzard at Ignisia who was sneezing before growling angrily at her brother who froze her tail but the anger was soon forgotten when the Blaze Dragon sneezes out a streak of flames at the temple's floor nearly burning Erza and Ultear who were nearby
"this is getting out of hand!" Ultear stated as she nearly got burned from the flames
"they're all sneezing so much, can Dragons even get cold?" Erza said before she ducked down when a blast of water flies above her head as it was a sneeze from Kaithen "hey!"
"he can't help it!" Kagura stated as she tried calming Kaithen and Levia down, both Sea Dragons were in agony of the constant sneezing, they can't control it and were unleashing blasts of water from their sneezing "none of them can!"
Kalard roared as the Golden Dragon was hitting his head against the temple's wall before sneezing out flames around him
"Kalard! Just calm down! It's going to be alright!" Éclair exclaimed as she floated above her son with Éna and Neel nearby, the two Phoenix squalls out to their sibling who was in agony from the constant sneezing "don't hit yourself!"
Noir rubs his snout against the floor as the Darkness Dragon growls while Kamika stands beside him, watching his agony of sneezing
"be calm, Noir. Don't rub your nose, you're just making it worse" Kamika told her son who scratches his snout with his claws, trying to stop the sneezing that soon came as Noir sneezes out a blast of black fire that nearly hits Lucy who had ducked
"this is getting worse by the second" Lucy stated as all the Dragon Children were in agony from the constant sneezing that is making them unable to control their power from suddenly unleashing
"you're telling me" Cana said with a frying pan in hand as she instantly uses it to block a small fireball from Marsha who sneezes alongside her brother
"it appears that they caught a sickness" Ikaruga said as even Kageya was sneezing out puffs of mist from her mouth
"but can Dragons even catch sickness?" Sorano asked as her egg hadn't hatch, so her child wasn't sick like the rest
"we can" Natsu stated as he came in with Warta, Grandeeney, and Wendy "although only a few"
"then what did they get?" Erza asked petting Ignisia's head, calming her child and stopping her from accidently hurting someone
"just a cold" Natsu said as his mates look at him weirdly "what? just because we're Dragons, doesn't mean that we're gods. Even we can get sick too, you know"
"if it's just a simple cold, why does it look like they're in pure agony?" Kamika asked as Noir was scratching his snout non stop
"for us Dragons if we caught what you call a 'cold'. it affects us indifferently as the sickness cause us to be unable to control our elemental power and a massive amount of magic will build up from within us" Grandeeney explained as she ducks her head down to dodge a blast of fire from Kalard who had just sneezed "this sickness is most commonly caught by young Dragons"
"then is there anyway to stop the cold?" Kagura asked before she ducks her head down from a near tail swing by Levia who roars while rubbing her nose against the floor
"a simple shot will just do it" Natsu said as Warta takes out a giant needle from who knows where "once they get the shot, they'll feel better in no time"
When Kaithen, Levia, Noir, Kalard, Eis, Energia, and Marsha saw the giant needle, they instantly scrambled out of the temple looking to be afraid of the needle
"welp, that wasn't surprising" Natsu said as only Touro, Ignisia, and Kageya stayed behind, the three not seeming to be afraid of the needle "even I'm afraid of the needle back then"
"shall I go after them, my king?" Grandeeney asked as Natsu nodded
"better stop them before they hurt themselves," Natsu said while Warta injected the syringe on Touro who growls a bit in pain but Lucy stood beside her son while petting his head
