On with the story
Withing the borders of a campsite, soldier guards patrolled the area while some were inside, polishing their weapons, preparing food, anything to prepare for a possible attack
Natsu was within the head base camp where the Dragon King was resting on a chair, leaning against his right hand's knuckles
He softly breathes in and out while he rests before he opens his eyes as Warta came in
"what is it?" Natsu said as he closed back his eyes to take a few more minutes of rest
"My King, Atlas Flame have arrived with Grandeeney and Gajeel with the addition of Dragnof's special Brigade" Warta reported as Natsu opens one eye and nodded slowly
"access the situation to them, I still need more rest" Natsu said as Warta nodded before he bowed and left the tent
Closing back his eyes, Natsu breathes in and out while he slowly falls back to sleep
"Hael….Hael…..Hael…Hael…" a small echoing whisper was soon heard as Natsu turns his head in his sleep, hearing the voice in his mind "Hael….i can smell it….i can smell your blood….Hael….Summon me….Summon me"
Natsu started to sweat as his facial expression started to turn grim while hearing the voice
"Hael…..Summon me….Summon me…" the voice just keeps echoing out in Natsu's mind as it never ends calling out Natsu's mother's name repeatedly
Natsu slowly turns his head in his sleep as the man only sees darkness in his mind
A giant serpent like shadow appeared upon the ground, unnoticed by anyone
The shadow soon slithers around the camp's area before it went to Natsu's tent
The giant serpent shadow looms around within the tent as the head turns towards Natsu who is asleep before glowing golden eyes appeared upon the shadow
"Hael…" the voice echoed before the shadow looms around the tent and then into Natsu's shadow
Natsu turns in his sleep before he woke up in a startle as he looks to have had an awful dream
Placing a hand on his forehead, Natsu took a few deep breathes and exhales them out
"Hael….who is that?" Natsu muttered out from hearing the echoing whisper in his mind
"my king, is everything alright?" the two guards outside the tent ask as they stand guard outside
"I'm fine" Natsu replied as he wipes off the sweat on his forehead "I'm fine"
The two guards' shadow look to the tent before they went back to guard it
Natsu wipes away more sweat from his neck before he went to a table where there was a metal jug and some glasses
He pours some water into a glass before taking a drink from it
Natsu finished his drink before he sighs, feeling the cold liquid going down his throat
"Hael….whose name is that?" Natsu muttered out, looking confused as to not know whose name it was nor who the person is when in fact he knows "and that voice…..whose voice was that?"
Natsu rubs a hand to his forehead a few times before he pours himself another drink
"my king" Warta's voice was soon heard as the Dark Elf entered the Tent with Gajeel, the man was in his werewolf form because of the day that turned to night "we have a situation at hand"
"that is?" Natsu asked while drinking his glass of water before placing it away
"a message from the Brunnhilde Kingdom" Warta said while holding an arrow with a scroll attached to it
"read it" Natsu said pouring himself another glass and then drinks it
Warta did as he was told, taking the scroll from the arrow, and opening the scroll. Reading its content
"'Lizardius Natsu Dragneel. In decree of God; you must surrender yourself to the judgement of the Valkyries of Brunnhilde Kingdom. Your life will be ended in the same fate as your predecessor, the Half Breed, Igneel' is what it stated, My king" Warta said as Natsu place his glass down before looking at Warta and Gajeel
"did it state that my father was a half breed?" Natsu said as Warta nodded before presenting the message to him
Natsu takes the scroll, reading it to see the message within it
"Valkyries are always thinking that they are powerful because of them being the servant of a god" Natsu said as he scrunches up the scroll before throwing it away "Gajeel, I want your brigade's members to take 10 soldier each. Take the field as our advantage where we will position our attack the next morning. Warta, get the remaining troops to start digging out trench holes. Big and deep. The enemy knows that they can't attack from the sky anymore, so they will go by land"
"got it" Gajeel said as he nodded before heading out
"what of you, my king?" Warta asked as Natsu sat back down to his chair
"I still need to rest, my mind doesn't feel calm at the moment" Natsu said as he rubs his fingers on the bridge of his nose "once the trench holes are finished, give the soldiers some time to rest. I, my uncle and Grandeeney will deal with the rest"
"understood" Warta replied with a bow "have a good night, my king"
Natsu nodded as Warta soon heads out of the tent, leaving the Dragon King alone
Resting back to the chair, Natsu let out a long sigh as he closed his eyes and went back resting without knowing that glowing golden eyes appeared within his shadow
"…Hael…." The whisper voice echoed out before the glowing golden eyes disappear
At the Brunnhilde Kingdom, Dimaria watched in amusement as Berserkers were pulling on giant chains which were attached to large creatures ranging from a Yellow Qilin, a White swan, a Red Lion, a Blue Wolf, a Brown Ox, an Orange Bear, a Green Deer, and a Purple Eagle. All the creatures were gigantic, and they all were wildly resisting the chains
"to think that there will be a day when all the Legend Beasts would be out of their cages" Dimaria stated as the other Valkyries stood in front of the giant beasts "well. One of them is already out though"
"we spread into two groups" Freyja stated as she jumps on the Green Deer's back, golden reins appeared in her hands while it attached to the Deer's mouth, forcing it to comply to her command "Stor, Saklauss, and Herja. We will take the front line of the attack. Saela, Speko, Vaskr, Afl, and Dimaria, the four of you will come with a pincer attack while the berserkers come to attack from the land"
"couldn't she go with you?" Afl asked getting on the Brown Ox, holding the reins as Dimaria smirks to her "I don't like having my back covered by someone like her"
"just bear with it" Freyja said sighing before seeing the Pope coming near them
"Valkyries, I must remind you all that the Legend Beasts may be all powerful, their power is of no match upon a Dragon. Be cautious" the Pope stated as Freyja nodded "may the blessing of our god be with you all!"
"Valkyries!" Freyja exclaimed pulling the golden reins of the Giant Green deer who rises on its hind legs before running out and flies to the sky "to Battle!"
"to Battle!" Herja and the rest exclaimed as they ride their Legend Beast, charging out of the Kingdom and flies into the sky
The Pope watch the Valkyries ride their Legend Beast to the sky as he had a small smirk
A shadow looms around the Pope and glowing red eyes appeared
"send the message to our leader" the Pope said "the Valkyries have taken the bait and will soon bring down their God's wrath upon that half breed"
The red eyes disappeared in the shadow before it looms away at an amazing speed
