"Thinking"

On with the story

Natsu was in a dark void as he sees nothing but just darkness

"where am i?" Natsu said looking around the place he was in "what is this place?"

Natsu soon hears something large slithering behind him as he turns but sees nothing

The slithering sound started to come from every direction as Natsu tried finding the source but nothing was there as he could only hear something but couldn't see it

"Hael…Hael…..Hael….." soon the whispering echo sound came out next as Natsu hears it from all direction

"who is that!? Show yourself!" Natsu exclaimed as he desperately tried to find the source of the sound but couldn't find it anywhere

Before long, Natsu hears something behind him as he turns to see a large dark shadow with large golden glowing eyes

"you..are not Hael…..you who possess her blood…..are just a mere…..fake" the echoing whisper came voicing out as it soon disappears before Natsu hears footsteps behind him

He turns around again and sees his mother standing in front of him

"mom…" Natsu whispered as Hael smiled to him before pointing a finger to the side

Following to where she was pointing, Natsu turns and sees an image of an island

"that island…." Natsu muttered out as the island was the same island where his parents' graves were at. He turns to look at his mother but she was gone "where did she?"

"Find it, Natsu…..Find it" a feminine voice came echoing out as Natsu hears it, and it was his mother's voice "you must find it, Natsu…...It is yours now"

"wait. What is mine?! What do I have to find?!" Natsu said looking around for his mother but she was nowhere to be found "mom, where are you?!"

A bright light soon appeared as Natsu shielded his eyes

Natsu opened his eyes as he sees the morning sun and the sky, with some tall trees around him

"where…" Natsu muttered out as he sat up and sees that he was in a forest with a river nearby "…last night?"

Natsu soon remembers the battle as his eyes widen and he quickly sat up

"Warta and the others!" Natsu exclaimed as he got up and looks around the area "I have to get to them!"

Before long, Ranta and Barta appeared both seeming to have gathered nuts and fruits in a basket

"my king, you are awake" Ranta said placing down the basket "how are you feeling?"

"Ranta, take me back to the battlefield. We need to help Warta and the others! Dimaria! She's too powerful to be going against head on!" Natsu exclaimed

"we can't, it's Elder Warta's orders to get you away from there" Barta stated

"I said, take me back! I am not leaving them to fight on their own!" Natsu exclaimed before Ranta pushed Natsu against a tree

"please have more care to yourself, my King!" Ranta exclaimed at Natsu "we as well were against the idea of leaving them behind, but we had to uphold your safety, my king! If you were to have fall into that battlefield! What would happen to Dragnof!? What would happen then!?"

Natsu's eyes were wide as the man was hit with realization

"please, my king. Honour Elder Warta's wishes" Ranta said pulling his hands away from Natsu "we all did"

Natsu closed his eyes and gritted his teeth before he turns and punched the tree behind him, taking out his frustration on it

"damnit! Damnit!" Natsu shouted as he repeatedly punched his fists on the tree, not caring of the bruises and cuts he got on them

At the battlefield, it was over as smoke were flying around in the air. Fallen bodies of soldiers were everywhere and so were the fallen bodies of the enemies who had retreated back

Within the campsite, everyone was getting treated of their wounds as the battle was far from over

In the head base tend; Gajeel sat on a chair with some bandages around his arm and neck, the man injured but still alive

He and the members of the 12 Thunder stars gathered around as they look at a map that shows the layout of the battlefield

"how many are we still left with?" Gajeel asked as their numbers had dwindled from the battle

"about 2421 soldiers left, the rest…" Freed stated before stopping

"it's not much but we might be able to get some more advantage if we make a fluke attack next time they attack" Ever said as everyone gathered around to discuss on their next move in case the enemy comes attacking again

"if we can survive their next ambush again" Bickslow said "they had us panicking for a single minute and in that single minute, they took down a hundred soldier"

"then we get more prepared" Laxus said "there's no use in whining about it"

"me and Lyon got the idea of placing Ice Mines around the ground" Gray said "get them Berserkers freezing in their legs before we take them out"

"only problem is that it takes time to make enough Ice Mines" Lyon added in "and we don't know the time they come attack us again"

"I can help dig out some holes for the Ice Mines and while making some pitfalls" Jet stated in with a lifted fist

"and I can help make some mudholes" Droy said "it'll sure get the drop on them"

"do it, but prepare as fast as you can" Gajeel said as Gray, Lyon, Jet and Droy nodded before they head out

"what about us?" Ever asked

"your fairy dust is explosive, right?" Gajeel asked as Ever nodded "then get flying and make some sparkles"

"I can help, I know some magic runes that can help making some bombs" Freed stated while holding out a magic pen

"and I know how to get the materials to make a bomb fast" Bickslow added in with a smirk

"then get to it" Laxus said as the three soon heads out before the Thunderbird man looks at Gajeel "you didn't tell them yet, did you?"

Gajeel shook his head as he sighs before crossing his arms

"sooner or later, they'll find out" Laxus said as Gajeel nodded

During the battle, Warta was taken away by Dimaria and the Valkyries who retreated from the battle for the time being. Without Natsu to help, the battle seems a bit hopeless to win

"Atlas and Grandeeney are still injured after their battle against those Valkyries and their giant beasts" Gajeel said "looks like we have to call in reinforcement"

"we can't, even if we could. it takes too much time for them to get here" Laxus said "we're on our own from here"

"I know" Gajeel said sighing as he rubs his hand on his forehead "where is our King when you need him?"

At Brunnhilde Kingdom, Warta was chained down to the ground with some whip slash marks on his body

Vaskr was behind him as the Valkyrie swings her whip at his back, causing Warta to grunt in pain

"I ask you one more time, Dark Elf" Vaskr said as she grabs a hold of Warta's head and pulls it back "where is the location of Dragnof?"

Warta took a few deep breathes as his body was in pure pain from the constant whipping by the Valkyrie

"the location…" Warta muttered out before he smirks "…will only be told after my death"

Vaskr pushed his head down before she swings her whip and started whipping it at Warta's back repeatedly, the Dark Elf grunting in pure pain

Freyja and the other Valkyries watched as their member continued to torture Warta for the information of Dragnof's location

"do we really need to get the information of some kingdom from this guy?" Herja asked "I mean , why do we need it from him?"

"you do not see the big picture, Herja" the Pope stated while standing in front of a golden statue of a Valkyrie "Dragnof was merely a Kingdom of Dragons, but it now is a Kingdom filled with many tainted beastmens"

"tainted? Half breeds?" Speko asked as the Pope nodded

"many half breeds gathered there as they are abominations just like Lizardius Natsu Dragneel" the Pope said "and speaking of Lizardius. Was his soul taken?"

"no, he escaped with some dark elves" Alf stated "we tried tracking them down, but Dark Elves are pretty smart in Concealment magic"

"I see. then we must focus on finding and destroying Dragnof at hand" the Pope stated

"why? It's just a kingdom of half breeds. What good will that bring?" Stor asked

"it is because in that kingdom, the offsprings of Dragneel resides there as well" the Pope stated as Freyja and the other Valkyries looked surprised "God's voice was heard and there are more abomination in this world then we had thought"

"we didn't hear him stating of such things" Speko said

"how are you the only one who hears his voice?" Saklauss asked

"you were all in battle, and our God has chosen to speak to me" the Pope said with a smile before he turns to walk away "we must find Dragnof and destroy all the offspring of Dragneel before they can grow and become unstoppable. We have lost nearly half of our kingdom's forces when they battled the two Dragons of Dragnof"

Freyja looks at the Pope as she had a deceptive look upon him

"Freyja, I do not wish to be rude but the Pope is somehow behaving mysteriously" Saela said as Freyja nodded

"I believe so too" Freyja stated looking at the Pope who disappeared into the corridors of the Kingdom "but if it was the voice of God he has hear, then we must obey"

"hey, where's Dimaria?" Herja asked not seeing the Valkyrie of Chaos

"didn't she come back with us?" Speko asked as Dimaria was nowhere to be found

"do you believe?" Saela asked as Freyja nodded before placing a hand to her face in frustration

"she is such a problem child" Freyja said

Natsu was at the river, looking at the water glowing endlessly

He gritted his teeth before he punches his fist at the water

"damnit!" Natsu growls angrily as he felt so useless without his powers

Ranta and Barta stood behind him as they watch their King angrily punch his fist on the water

"you think we should stop him?" Barta asked as Ranta shook his head

"a warrior who is forced to retreat from battle and lave his allies will be overcome by anger and guilt" Ranta stated "it'd be best for that anger to come out of him"

Natsu growls as he looks at his reflection in the water

"I've left them behind! I let them to their own death! What kind of a king am i?!" Natsu punched his fist on the water numerous times before he hammers his fist down, causing a big splash that drenched his entire face "if I only had my power! If only I still had them!"

A thought soon rang into his head as he remembers the words Hael spoke to him in his dream and the vision of the island where his parents grave resides at

"at the island…" Natsu muttered out as he stands up and looks at his hands "she told me to find something there…"

"my king? Are you alright?" Ranta aske as Natsu stands up straight and looks at the two

"how far are we from a town near the sea?" Natsu said as Ranta and Barta blinked once before looking at each other and then to the Dragon King

"there's a port town a few Kilometers away from here, My king. But why you ask that?" Ranta asked

"we need to get on a boat and to an island north east of Dragnof's location" Natsu stated "there is something that we have to find, it might the only thing that can help me get my powers back"

"then, what are we waiting for? Let's go now" Barta said before they heard clapping sound coming from the shadows of the tree

"finally found you. you guys did well running away from us" Dimaria said as she appeared from the shadows while having an amused smile "but this is as far as you can go now"

"Barta, get the King away from here" Ranta stated as he takes out several Shurikens from his back "I shall buy you some time"

"no, I am not leaving anyone anymore!" Natsu exclaimed as he got in front of Ranta while lifting up his fists in a battle stance "if there's anyone who is going to fight her, it's me!"

"wow wow, easy there Dragon man" Dimaria said "I never said that I was here to fight. I'm here to chat actually"

"chat? You ask for a conversation?" Ranta said looking hostile "I do not believe that for a second, Valkyrie"

"fine, believe me if you want or not. I'm only here for a chat" Dimaria said as she takes out her sword, only to drop it to the ground "look, I even dropped my weapon"

"what do you want, Dimaria?" Natsu said "knowing you, it must be something that you desire from back then"

"straight to the point as always, Dragneel" Dimaria said smirking amused "that's what makes you a good man"

"answer it now" Natsu said with a glare

"what I want is simple" Dimaria said "I want you to take down the Pope of my kingdom and marry me"

Natsu and the others look at her for a minute as it took them a while to register what she just said

"huh?" they said in unison
